A restaurant that serves Sri Lankan curry and tea. I visited a different restaurant for lunch this time, so I used this place for tea time. I ordered a platter of three sorbets and a tea called SABARAGAMUWA recommended by the staff. The tea was so delicious that I wanted to savor it on my tongue forever, even though it's hard to describe its taste accurately. The sorbets were also very tasty, and despite the modest portion, I had a fulfilling time. The bright and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant, away from the station, gave a sense of liberation. I felt like it would be worth visiting just to enjoy this tea. Thank you for the meal.

Visited for the first time with a friend for lunch on a regular weekday. This place was newly developed where there used to be a modern golf range, now with residential buildings, cafes, and clinics. It's near Garden Island, and you can also take the free shuttle bus from Takashimaya Tamagawa, although the frequency is low. The cafe offers Sri Lankan tea and cuisine in a stylish and refreshing space. It quickly became almost full, as there are few dining options in this area, so it's recommended to make a reservation. I ordered the sparkling wine as a lunch set add-on for 330 yen, the Lamprais for 1980 yen (limited to 5 servings per day), which is a spicy curry set wrapped in banana leaves with pol sambol and a fried egg, and the Egg Roti Plate for 1500 yen, a healthy plate with egg roti, salad leaves, and honey mustard chicken. I mentioned that I don't like bell peppers and paprika, so they offered me a menu with those omitted. The dishes were authentic and unique, appealing to fans of this cuisine. It might leave men feeling a bit unsatisfied. The restaurant also seems to have a focus on tea, so I would like to visit again for tea time.

I was surprised that the curry at this curry restaurant in a high-end residential area was quite spicy, despite expecting a milder taste. The W curry with fish and pork had a rich and delicious flavor. The side of chili peppers was extremely spicy and maybe unnecessary.

Ordered a one-plate curry with three types of curry and two types of sambar on rice. The default curries were dal curry and seasonal vegetable curry, and you could choose between chicken curry or fish curry for the third option! The rice was brown rice, which is good for your health! The fish curry was delicious. The dal curry might be the best I've ever had. The great thing about Sri Lankan curry is that you can mix and match to create your own unique flavor. No matter which combinations I tried, they all tasted great! I was curious and ordered a roti. The roti was amazing! Personally, I might prefer roti over naan! On the third vaccination trip with the owner to Futakotamagawa. We decided to stick together and have lunch somewhere... and found this Sri Lankan tea and food restaurant on Tabelog. It seems to have opened in February and had few reviews, but it was almost full of customers. On Sunday, May 15th, around 11:00, there were 3 groups of customers already there, and more came in later, almost filling up by 11:30. It's located in a quiet residential area, with a stylish cafe and a lovely, relaxed atmosphere. They open at 10:00, and lunch is available from 11:00. The terrace seats are dog-friendly. We made a reservation by phone. The newly hired staff was doing their best. The order details are as follows: Owner - "Lump Rice" for 1,980 yen (limited to 5 servings per day) with a set drink of iced tea for the summer. Me - "Ayurveda Plate" for 1,600 yen with a set drink of "Nuwara Eliya OP 2021". The drink was authentic Sri Lankan tea, a bit too much for us to discern. The "Nuwara Eliya OP" was described as the queen of Ceylon tea, so we chose the new tea "Nuwara Eliya OP 2021". The owner was drawn to the iced tea. The "Ayurveda Plate", their most popular dish, was gentle with a subtle punch of local flavors that grew on us as we ate. The "Lump Rice" was strong and flavorful with powerful spices, completely different from the plate. Maybe the rice dish would have been more to our liking. The tea had a gentle and mild aroma, but the iced tea cup made it look like barley tea, which was a bit disappointing. The flavor, however, was good. The prices felt a bit high, even with the drink included. They mentioned that PayPay was not available yet but might be introduced in the future. The terrace seats filled up quickly, and even the dogs seemed comfortable. Thank you for the meal.

We arrived at around 11:30 am on Sunday and we were the only ones in the restaurant, but by 12 pm it was already full. It is recommended to make a reservation if you are concerned. We ordered the "One Plate Curry (1,600 yen)" which allows you to enjoy 3 types of curry and 2 types of sambar. All of them were not too spicy and had a gentle taste that can be enjoyed by people of all ages. There is also a terrace seat and the outside of the restaurant is quiet, so if the weather is nice, you can enjoy a refreshing lunch or dinner.

You can easily find the restaurant by crossing the overpass from Takashimaya Garden Island and the Denen Toshi Line. The terrace has two 4-seater tables and about three 2-seater tables. It was a weekend so there were a few people with dogs, but the overall store was about 60% full. It has only been open for 2 months and is a bit away from Futako-Tamagawa Station, so it was relatively calm. The curry has a rich aroma of spices but is not very spicy. The Egg Roti Plate is like a thick crepe made of wheat flour with beaten egg spread on top, topped with vegetables and chicken that tastes like Indonesian satay, with a dry texture likely from thinly sliced grilled breast meat. Lunch comes with a drink, and I had an iced tea made with water. My favorite was the Watalappan, a Sri Lankan pudding. It uses spices but is not spicy, probably containing cardamom and nutmeg. The dark sugar syrup adds a deep sweetness. Repeat rate: ☆☆☆

*Waiting Time* I arrived at 11:55 and the restaurant was almost full, but luckily there were seats available at the counter. Many people had made reservations. I left at 12:55. *Order & Price* I had the Ayurveda Plate for 1,600 yen. You can choose between chicken and fish curry. They have a wide variety of drinks, with tea being the main focus. *Atmosphere* The restaurant has a lovely exterior. They also have terrace seating, which is nice on a sunny day. *Service* The service was very polite. *Impressions* The beets were easy to eat and delicious. The rapeseed flowers had a nice bitterness to them, adding a good flavor contrast. The dal had a light and gentle taste. The Polsambol was not too spicy and easy to eat. The chicken curry was tender and moist, and not too spicy. It was nice to have brown rice. The portion size was a bit too much for me, so I should have ordered less. I also tried the Egg Roti, which was like a French galette or Taiwanese egg pancake and quite tasty. I was drawn to the Caramel flavor of the Sabaragamuwa, but honestly, I couldn't taste the caramel much. *Expectations* I appreciated the use of brown rice and the slightly Japanese touch in the curry. Next time, I would like to try the Double Curry Set with Cheese Roti.

A Sri Lankan curry restaurant opened in a residential area about 10 minutes from Futako Tamagawa Station. It was located in a corner of a low-rise housing complex called Setanomori, where there are many mansions. The curry restaurant had a nice atmosphere and also offered carefully selected teas. When I visited, I had the place to myself as the only customer. I ordered the Ayurveda Plate with a choice of chicken or fish for the main curry, and I chose fish. It was marlin that day, I think. There was a foreign male staff member, who I assume was the chef.

A Sri Lankan curry restaurant suddenly appeared in a residential area! The interior is beautiful and the toilet is also barrier-free. Please note that Google Maps may show it in a residential area, but it is actually facing the road. If you can't find it, try going around Setanomori. What we ate: - Shrimp curry for 1850 yen - Wattalappam for 630 yen Payment methods: Credit card only The shrimp curry is served with plump, head-on shrimp in a watery curry! You can choose between roti or rice. (Cheese roti is also available for an additional charge.) The spices are authentic and very delicious! The roti has a nice texture with a mix of chewy and crispy parts. The Wattalappam has a taste of a foreign country and is delicious. The attention to detail with the cutlery is wonderful. We found a coupon on the official website and received a special drink as a service. They also sell a variety of tea leaves in the store, so we would like to find our favorite and purchase it. Since you can enjoy authentic Sri Lankan curry, it seems like it will become popular in the future.

Lamp Rice Banana Leaf-wrapped meal-like dish had quite a lot of rice. The taste was gentle. It was a bit of a walk from the station, so there weren't many people, and the interior and exterior of the restaurant were clean, creating a relaxing atmosphere.
