I went to "Godaigo" for a hot pot date while enjoying the view of the high-rise buildings in Shinjuku. We were seated at a different table this time, which made me excited.
- Appetizers
White fish jelly
Beef tataki
Escabeche with kiss
- Oden with 10 varieties of ingredients
Radish, egg, homemade meatballs, thick fried tofu, red konjac, beef tendon, white yam cake, hanpen, chikuwa
The light soy sauce Kyoto-style oden was exquisite, and we enjoyed changing the flavor by dipping it in different sauces such as mustard and egg miso.
- Today's sashimi
Tuna, yellowtail, red snapper, mackerel
A serving of fresh and delicious fish for one person
- Assorted grilled chicken skewers
Green onion, homemade chicken meatballs with sweet sauce, chicken neck, chicken wing tips with salt, bonjiri with juicy salt and sauce
- Niigata-style soba
Made with seaweed as a binder, providing a smooth and satisfying taste
We were impressed by the hospitality of the staff and the breathtaking night view from 130 meters above ground. I highly recommend experiencing it. We had a wonderful time and will definitely visit again.

We had a kickoff meeting at the head office for launching a new organization. In the afternoon, we continued our work at the head office using Zoom and mobile PCs with Director K and Acting Manager K. We went to a restaurant that serves hot pot, Kyoto-style oden, fresh fish dishes, and charcoal-grilled food. All the dishes were quite delicious. Director K ordered a strong highball, so I followed suit and ended up drinking a bit too much. The total bill for the three of us was around ¥16,500. Director K seemed to have ramen afterwards, so maybe we should have opted for the all-you-can-drink course.

Crab cream croquette and chicken sauté for 1000 yen. I wish the croquette had a bit more of a freshly fried feeling. The lotus root side dish was delicious. We were seated in a private room facing the window, and since it was on the 29th floor, the view was great. There were already people waiting by noon. It seems to be quite popular.

Daily bowl set meal (1000 yen) If you want to eat a lot of roast beef, this roast beef bowl is perfect for you! The sweetness and spiciness of the sauce, along with the mellow taste of the egg, enhance the flavor of the roast beef. The sauce also seeps into the rice, making it delicious. It's satisfying in terms of portion size as well.

At Godaigo located on the restaurant floor of the 29th floor of the Shinjuku NS Building, you can enjoy lunch and Kyoto-style oden for dinner. The W-mixed lunch set with popular fried chicken and ginger pork comes with rice, miso soup, and two side dishes for 1,100 yen. The fried chicken is small in size, coated in a sweet and savory sauce, while the ginger pork is thick and satisfying to eat. In any case, the rice was delicious and I ended up having seconds. Lunch includes unlimited refills of rice and miso soup. Although it may be a bit pricey at over 1,000 yen, considering the taste and portion, it was a satisfying lunch. Thank you for the meal!

I have visited this restaurant several times before and I really like it. The food and drinks are delicious, and the view is great. The restaurant is located on the 29th floor and has a wide menu including oden, sashimi, yakitori, meat, and fish dishes at reasonable prices. Reservations for courses are usually required the day before, but you can also order a course on the day. Enjoy a fun time with various dishes and drinks while looking at the night view of Shinjuku. Overall, I would rate this restaurant as a good place with a rating of around 3.5. It is suitable for dates, gatherings, or family outings.

29th floor of Shinjuku NS Building. The window seats were popular and all taken. The service was polite. I expected high prices due to the location in Shinjuku and being on the top floor of a skyscraper, but it was not as expensive as I thought. Charcoal-grilled yakitori was 280 yen. Appetizers ranged from 480 yen to 750 yen. Alcohol drinks started from 300 yen. Appreciated. No seating fee. Appetizer was 660 yen, sashimi of the day was 550 yen, 7 kinds of oden was 1000 yen, additional beef tendon was 300 yen, additional ganmo was 250 yen (menu said 200 yen), and grilled chicken liver was 750 yen. Oden ingredients were all cut in half. The broth had a refined Kyoto style taste. The sashimi was okay, not all the types listed on the menu were served, but they were tender. The situation and prices were reasonable. Recommended for those who choose restaurants based on atmosphere.

I had some errands to run nearby and found this place through a search. It's on the 29th floor of a building, so the view is great. I ordered the Gotai Gozen set for 1300 yen. Everything was delicious. The sashimi and miso soup with mushrooms were especially tasty. For dessert, I had a water yokan which was very comforting. There was a menu hanging from the ceiling that said "Goldfish - Market Price," but I'm not sure what that means.

This is my fourth visit. The oden is very delicious, the Goudaigoudai highball is only 300 yen, and the seating is comfortable, so I have visited a few times in a short span. It was Sunday night, but it seemed to be moderately busy. The meat sushi and daikon dish in the photo were very tasty. The alcohol selection is also abundant, especially the lineup of sake. I would like to go again.

I wanted to try using a premium coupon, so I came to this restaurant. The spacious interior had a nice view of the buildings from the window seats. The dishes, such as horse sashimi, were fresh and well-prepared, though the portions were a bit small. I guess it's because of the location. The 50% discount was much appreciated. Thank you for the meal.

A rare Kyoto-style oden restaurant in Tokyo. The atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice, perfect for a date. The oden can be ordered as a set or individually. The ganmo (fried tofu) was especially delicious. Grilled chicken liver dipped in spicy oil was also very tasty and went well with drinks. We also ordered pork belly and horse sashimi, both of which were delicious.

This is a Japanese restaurant located in the dining area on the 29th floor of the NS Building. It is a high-end Japanese restaurant, more like an izakaya, with branches in Ginza and Akasaka besides Nishi-Shinjuku. The interior of the restaurant has cozy sofa seats along the walls, offering a nice view of Nishi-Shinjuku through the windows. The atmosphere inside is pleasant. The restaurant is not very large due to being in a building, but it has private rooms making it convenient for gatherings. It is quite popular, with lunchtime being almost always full. If you go slightly off-peak, you can avoid waiting. The lunch menu ranges from 1,000 yen, with standard Japanese set meals like fried chicken and grated Japanese-style hamburger steak being the main offerings. I tried the daily special bowl set meal 'Roast Beef Bowl' (1,000 yen). It comes with lettuce scattered on top of rice, topped with roast beef and a soft-boiled egg in the center. The roast beef is cooked perfectly, pink in the center without being undercooked. It is made with lean beef, so there is hardly any fatty parts. The sauce is slightly sweet, adding to the flavor of the meat. Mixing it with the soft-boiled egg makes for a delicious roast beef bowl. The portion size is elegant, with slightly less rice compared to beef bowl chains, but it suits the clientele of this restaurant well. The amount of roast beef is generous, which is great. The side dishes include cold tofu and simmered vegetables, which are both of good quality. The miso soup is filled with fried tofu and seaweed. The service was also impressive, with enough staff for the size of the restaurant. Although not serving any special dishes, the quality of ingredients and cooking is high. With a great atmosphere, view, and service, this Japanese restaurant is recommended for adults seeking authentic dining experience.

Today, due to work, I went to this restaurant located in Shinjuku NS Building. This time, I chose a slightly luxurious lunch with two types of side dishes, ginger pork and hamburger. The presentation, seasoning, delicious miso soup, and rice were all great. The other side dishes were also good, with a Japanese twist. It's a delicious restaurant that makes you want to go back again.

Today, I went to the Shinjuku area and decided to visit this restaurant, which seemed relatively empty. This time, I chose the ginger pork and fried chicken combo set instead of the daily lunch special. The food was elegant and quite filling, and it tasted delicious. Additionally, since the restaurant is located on the upper floors of a high-rise building, the view was also nice. The price was 1,100 yen including tax.

Today we had a social gathering here. I couldn't take many photos, but the Kyoto-style oden was light and quite delicious. I personally prefer oden with stronger seasoning, so I found it a bit lacking. Thank you for the meal!

This is a Japanese restaurant located in the dining area on the 29th floor of the NS Building. It is a high-class Japanese restaurant or izakaya that also has branches in Ginza and Akasaka, aside from Nishi-Shinjuku. The interior of the restaurant is elegant, with cozy sofa seats along the walls and a view of Nishi-Shinjuku from the windows. Despite being in a building, the restaurant does not have a large seating capacity, but it does have private rooms which are convenient for gatherings. The lunch menu offers a variety of traditional Japanese set meals starting from 1,000 yen, such as chicken tempura set and Japanese-style hamburger steak set. I tried the "Godaigo Gozen" (1,250 yen), a limited quantity menu named after the restaurant. It includes shrimp tempura, chicken tempura, and two types of sashimi in small portions for variety. The shrimp tempura was perfectly crispy with a clear shrimp flavor, and the fruity sauce complemented it well. The chicken tempura was juicy and flavorful. The sashimi consisted of tuna and yellowtail, both fresh and delicious. The grilled mackerel was fatty and easy to eat, while the rolled omelette had a subtle sweetness and rich dashi flavor. The side dishes were also well-prepared, with dishes like lotus root stir-fry and chilled tofu. The miso soup had a refined taste with fried tofu and daikon radish. The meal was balanced with a mochi dessert. The service was attentive, and the overall dining experience was excellent. This restaurant is recommended for adults looking for high-quality Japanese cuisine in a sophisticated atmosphere.

I attended a company drinking party. The atmosphere was nice, at a restaurant on the 29th floor of the NS Building in Nishi-Shinjuku with a beautiful night view. The interior was quite stylish as well. The service staff provided good customer service, thank you! We had a course meal and everything was delicious. The oden was also good. Overall, it was delicious, reasonably priced, and had a stylish atmosphere. I had a great time! Thank you for the meal♫♫

I went with my junior colleague. We had forgotten to reserve a private room, but luckily there was one available so we were able to switch. There were quite a few private rooms available. We ordered the 6,000 yen course, but felt that the portion was slightly lacking. However, the staff were accommodating with our drink requests, such as providing a draft beer even though it was not included in the all-you-can-drink menu, and offering tonic water even though it was not on the menu. Overall, we were satisfied with the service. This is a very considerate restaurant, so I would like to go again.

Chilled Chinese noodles (600 yen). Visited on a weekday at 12:15. There were 5 groups of 8 people waiting outside. Entered at 12:25. Served the dish at 12:29. We were seated in a private room for 4 people, which allowed us to enjoy our meal at a leisurely pace. The chilled Chinese noodles had a strong sour taste. The noodles were slightly transparent and had a good elasticity, which I quite liked. The simmered eggplant side dish was delicious. The portion of noodles was a bit small, but being able to enjoy a leisurely meal in this area for 600 yen is a great deal. Thank you for the meal.

The usual. Ordered dashimaki tamago, shrimp and avocado salad, oden, bonito flakes potato fries, grilled octopus, and matcha cheesecake. Everything was delicious, but this time I especially liked the grilled octopus and matcha cheesecake. As always, the food was tasty. Will definitely come back again.

Located on the 29th floor of a high-rise building right next to the Shinjuku Metropolitan Government Building, is Godaigo. The interior of the restaurant is stylish and has a great atmosphere! A friend I went with recommended the oden, so we ordered it. The broth was rich and flavorful, truly delicious! The gentle taste of the broth made it enjoyable to drink until the last drop! It was a comforting and soothing flavor. We were able to leisurely enjoy some drinks while eating Japanese cuisine. The atmosphere is great, so I highly recommend it for a date night as well!
