I stopped counting the number of times I have been to this chicken hitsumabushi restaurant since the 10th visit. The freshness of the vegetables served as appetizers varies depending on the season, and both the vegetables and dressing change each time, making it enjoyable every time. The instructions say to pour the rich chicken white broth over the rice mixed with chicken fat and sauce on the third bowl, but I have stopped doing this after the first visit. This is because the soup tastes better when consumed while hot! Even though it is served in an iron pot, the soup gradually cools down, so it would be a waste to let such delicious chicken white broth soup cool. I cannot resist enjoying the rich soup, which rivals the soup of famous chicken sukiyaki or chicken white broth noodles, or even better. I would be happy if someone could recommend a restaurant (preferably in the Kanto region) that serves hitsumabushi that can compete with this one. Thank you for the meal.

I visited a jewelry store in Ginza for a custom jewelry exhibition. The store is located on the upper floors of a building, offering a beautiful view of Ginza's night scenery from the windows. I ordered the Bamboo Course for 9350 yen. It included: - Hichin Chicken Confit and Seasonal Vegetable Terrine - Hichin Chicken Achilles - Seasonal Vegetable Salad from a local farm - Hichin Chicken Wasabi Grill - Hichin Chicken Negima - Hichin Chicken Tsukune with Hichin Chicken Egg Yolk - Hichin Chicken Tamago - Master's Chicken Soup - Charcoal-Grilled Vegetables - Hichin Chicken Egg and Fresh Sea Urchin Chawanmushi - Hichin Chicken Today's Special Skewer 1 - Hichin Chicken Chicken Wings - Hichin Chicken Today's Special Skewer 2 - Today's Meal - Refreshing Dessert - Coffee The meat with skin was perfectly grilled, crispy and delicious. The idea of turning the leftover egg yolk from the tsukune into a bite-sized rice ball to make tamago gohan was brilliant. The final dish, oyakodon, was also delicious. They offer sake pairing, but I opted to order individual sake since they had good options at a reasonable price. Although it added up in the end, it was worth it to enjoy delicious yakitori while admiring the beautiful view.

I had the bamboo course. The atmosphere is nice but the restaurant is a bit small. The food was delicious, recommended for when you want to eat classic grilled chicken. However, it was very hot sitting in front of the grill, so it was not comfortable during the meal. I am deducting some points for that.

I read the review from reviewer Sentan on MyReviewer and decided to try this restaurant. Before going to Kabukiza for the first time in 10 years, I decided to have lunch here as it is in the neighboring building. I made a reservation for a special course on Tabelog. When I got off the elevator, there were counter seats facing the kitchen and table seats. A gentian flower was displayed. I had the following: - Luxurious course 3500 yen - Draft beer 880 yen Since I had plenty of time before the Kabuki performance, I decided to have a beer. It would be nice if the glass was a little thinner, but it was delicious. The course included a mini salad, chawanmushi, and Hichinai Jidori chicken "Tori Mabushi". The mini salad was carefully arranged with snow peas and other ingredients. The chawanmushi was smooth and topped with beautiful sea urchin. It was delicious with various ingredients. Finally, the Tori Mabushi meal arrived. First, I had chicken soup in a cast iron pot with a small cup. It was rich and delicious. The Tori Mabushi was first enjoyed as it was, with the crispy texture of the Hichinai Jidori chicken and the simple sauce. Next, you can add your choice of 5 condiments on the table. I liked the red yuzu pepper the best. Then, a large egg yolk was placed on top. It was rich and delicious. I wonder if it would go well with eel hitsumabushi too?? Lastly, I made ochazuke with the chicken soup and condiments (seaweed, wasabi, green onions) on the folding screen. The aroma of seaweed and chicken soup made it disappear in no time. The pickled myoga and ginger on the side were also delicious. Both staff members were very friendly and made the experience enjoyable. It faces Showa Street, so the night view must be beautiful. It is also close to Ginza Station, making it a convenient place to remember.

I used it for lunch on a holiday. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm, and I was able to enjoy my meal slowly while overlooking the hustle and bustle of Ginza. The chicken had a rich flavor with just the right amount of firmness, and it was very delicious. There are four ways to enjoy it: eat it as it is, sprinkle condiments on it, mix it with the yolk, or pour dashi broth over it to make ochazuke. It was delicious in every way.

I received a grateful invitation from a business partner with whom I have a good relationship, saying "Let's have an early summer party." The location was East Ginza, a familiar place. I headed there, looking at the Kabuki-za theater after a long time. 1. Exterior, atmosphere, interior of the restaurant: Located about a 3-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station, near Kabuki-za theater. It is on the 11th floor of a new building called VORT Ginza East. The number of seats is not that many, and there are plenty of counter seats, making it perfect for dates or small groups. The location is quite lovely, with a view of the Higashi-Ginza intersection from the window. 2. About the food: In advance, our business partner had ordered the "Bamboo Course" where you can enjoy Hinai-jidori chicken. The course included dishes like Hinai-jidori confit and seasonal vegetable terrine, Hinai-jidori Achilles, seasonal vegetable salad, Hinai-jidori with wasabi, etc. All dishes were made with Hinai-jidori chicken, known for its firm texture and strong umami flavor. The unique parts like chouchin and Achilles were also enjoyable. The one-dish meal was within expectations. It was interesting to have the option of a "hamburger" for the final meal. 3. Staff service: The hall was managed by 3-4 young men and women. The service of the first drink was unusually slow, which gave a bad feeling, and indeed, there were mistakes in order taking and serving. Personally, what I found disappointing was the excessively long time until the end of the course!! It took a total of "4 hours and 20 minutes" from the first dish to the coffee. It was quite exhausting leaving the restaurant. 4. Cost performance: I was treated by our business partners, so I was informed of the cost haha. The location near Kabuki-za and the decent level of grilled Hinai-jidori chicken made the cost performance not bad. However, considering the excessive serving time and the mediocre service, I felt that the overall cost performance was not good. 5. Other observations: There was no mention from the restaurant about the time it took to serve. So, maybe taking 4 hours and 20 minutes for the course is their "standard".

This is a review based on a lunch experience. I tried the exclusive chicken "mabushi" course for 4000 yen at One Harmony. The course came with a choice of one drink from sparkling wine, beer, glass of wine (red/white), or a soft drink. The meal included a seasonal vegetable salad sourced from a local farm, a steamed egg with sea urchin, chicken "mabushi", dessert of the day, and all-you-can-drink coffee. The taste was average, with the salad and steamed egg being neither exceptional nor disappointing. While I would have considered this a good deal for 3000 yen, I felt it was a bit overpriced. The all-you-can-drink coffee was not automatically brought to the table, so you have to order it. The atmosphere was not conducive to relaxing, so I could only manage to have two drinks. It may not be suitable for those looking to leisurely enjoy their meal.

Lunch - Akita Hinai Jidori Chicken Hittsumabushi, priced at ¥3,300 (tax included). Hittsumabushi is traditionally made with eel, but nowadays there are various versions available. At the yakitori restaurant "Ginza Kashiwa" in Higashi-Ginza, you can enjoy a hittsumabushi made with chicken. Located on the 11th floor of a building about a 2-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station where many food and beverage establishments are gathered. I visited during lunchtime on a weekday. There were about 3 groups of customers already there. The lunch menu features "Chicken Hittsumabushi" made with Akita Hinai Jidori chicken. There is also a set menu that includes salad and dessert, but this time I ordered it separately. The chicken is grilled over charcoal at the grill, and after about 17 minutes, the fragrant hittsumabushi arrives. First, I tried a sip of the soup for ochazuke. It was a rich chicken broth soup, heightening the anticipation for the ochazuke. The restaurant recommends four ways to eat it. First, as it is. Next, with condiments. Then, mix with egg yolk. Finally, as ochazuke. Let's try eating it following these recommendations. The chicken made with Akita Hinai Jidori has a strong umami flavor and a very firm texture. The meat is mainly from the breast and thigh, with chopped skin on top as a point of interest. The sauce is also on the richer side, similar to eel hittsumabushi. It goes well with the rice alone. When combined with condiments, it becomes refreshing, and mixing it with egg yolk gives a mellow taste. However, the viscosity of the egg yolk is high, so if you want to fully enjoy the sauce, eating it as it is recommended. Finally, pour the soup from the iron kettle over the rice for ochazuke. I don't usually have ochazuke with hittsumabushi, but the rich chicken broth soup combined with the rice makes for a delicious ochazuke. It's a fitting way to end the meal. At ¥3,300, it may be a bit pricey for lunch, but the chicken hittsumabushi is quite delicious.

I arrived without getting lost at a great location near the Kabuki-za theater, just a short walk from Higashi-Ginza Station! I sat at the counter in a quiet atmosphere, enjoyed the appetizer, and then the chicken hitsumabushi arrived. First, I tried the chicken broth, then enjoyed it with condiments, egg, and dashi tea, offering various ways to eat it. It was satisfying with a good portion size! Although I visited for lunch this time, the atmosphere seems calm and inviting for dinner as well. I would like to visit again!

I made a reservation through Tabelog for 11:30 and visited the restaurant. The restaurant is located on the 11th floor of a narrow building, and as soon as you get off the elevator, you enter the restaurant. A female staff member welcomed me. The interior of the restaurant has counter seats and table seats by the window, and I was guided to the counter seats in front of the kitchen. The lunch menu consists of only "Chicken Ma-Bushi," with two options: one with chawanmushi and one with dessert. I wanted to try the chawanmushi made with Hinai-jidori eggs, so I chose that course. I also ordered a draft beer (so happy to have beer in the afternoon!). First, a lunch salad was served, and I enjoyed watching the chef work while eating the salad. Next, the Hinai-jidori chawanmushi topped with sea urchin was served. I first tried the sea urchin alone, then mixed it with the chawanmushi and savored it. It was rich and incredibly delicious. When I finished, the Chicken Ma-Bushi was served. I started by tasting the chicken white broth soup, which was thick and flavorful. It was seasoned with salt, which I found a bit strong, but it was so delicious that it wasn't a problem. Finally, the Hinai-jidori Chicken Ma-Bushi, an arrangement of Hittsumi-Bushi, was served. Before serving, I watched the chef cooking at the counter and could see that the yakitori was different from others – plump and crispy. The big feature of the Chicken Ma-Bushi is that you can enjoy it in four ways: 1. Enjoy the taste of the ingredients as they are. 2. Enjoy it with seven types of condiments such as sansho pepper and sesame. 3. Enjoy it with a rare Hinai-jidori egg yolk like Oyakodon. 4. Finally, enjoy it with the chicken white broth soup like ochazuke. Since the Hinai-jidori chicken is grilled over charcoal right in front of you, it is naturally delicious. The thigh meat is springy and elastic, the breast meat has a good texture, and the skin is crispy and fragrant. I thought both the ingredients and the cooking method were top-notch. Personally, spending over 3000 yen for lunch is a bit expensive, but I think it's worth it when I come to Ginza once in a while. I enjoyed the top-quality chicken in a luxurious atmosphere. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again.

Located near Higashi-Ginza Station with good access. The portion of the meal is large, but there are plenty of condiments so I didn't get tired of it. The person at the next table ordered dessert, and it looked very delicious, so I'm thinking of trying it next time I come.

I used it during lunchtime. Lunchtime is a good deal compared to regular dinner. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is really nice. It's not very spacious, but it has a luxurious feel and is good for dates. The food is also very delicious and I think it's a great deal at this price, and the service was good too. The dessert seems to change depending on the season, which I think is enjoyable. I would like to visit for dinner sometime.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday at 12:30. I had made a reservation in advance. I ordered the chicken ma-bushi course and had a glass of Human by Jokigen Kyuheiji. The view from the restaurant is nice. The service and attention to detail by the staff were excellent. The taste was, of course, incredibly delicious. I will definitely go again.

First, let's talk about the atmosphere of the restaurant, which was absolutely perfect. The place has a dim lighting that sets a great mood, especially at night. Even the restroom was designed to blend in with the overall atmosphere, with a black door. The attention to detail in creating the ambiance was impressive. As for the food, the yakitori made with Hinai-jidori chicken was all fantastic, especially the negima skewers. They also had a clever idea - when we had leftover egg from the tsukune, they brought out rice and suggested we make tamago kake gohan. I was really impressed. The only downsides were that the clientele was not very upscale, so there were some sloppy customers, and it was a bit hard to strike up a conversation with the chef.

I saw a delicious chicken dish on SNS and knew I had to try it, so I headed to Higashi-Ginza. The restaurant is located on the 11th floor of a stylish, slender building. I arrived before opening time, and the staff kindly showed me to a counter seat by the window, offering a great view. The lunch menu featured "Chicken Hitsumabushi" as a standalone dish or part of a course. I opted for the standalone dish with less rice. I ordered genmaicha tea to drink. Inside the counter, Shonai Jidori chicken was being grilled over a high flame, with the aroma of the sauce getting me excited. The "Chicken Hitsumabushi" was served in an iron pot, accompanied by chicken soup, a sparkling egg yolk, nori, wasabi, green onions, pickles, and plenty of chicken on rice. First, I tried the soup, which was incredibly rich and delicious. I couldn't resist taking a few sips before moving on to the rice. The dish was divided into four parts for different eating styles: 1) as is, 2) with condiments like sansho pepper, sesame, and chili, 3) with the egg yolk for a TKG experience, and 4) with the rich chicken soup for ochazuke. Each way of eating was delightful, with the combination of flavors and textures making it a satisfying meal. The egg yolk was particularly impressive, not breaking even when picked up with chopsticks. Mixing it with the sauce and enjoying it was a highlight. Lastly, pouring the chicken soup over the rice, adding nori, green onions, wasabi, and sesame, created a refreshing ochazuke. The meal was accompanied by genmaicha tea, which helped cleanse the palate after the rich flavors. Despite the slightly higher price for lunch, the experience was worth it, and I left feeling fully satisfied. Another delightful meal, thanks!

We used it for two people. It was nice to be able to relax quietly away from the hustle and bustle on the upper floor of a building in the downtown area. The food was satisfying and filling. I thought the server's flashy nail art didn't quite match the atmosphere of the restaurant. It was a shame that she could only give a generic explanation and wasn't very attentive.

I made a reservation for 11:30 on a normal day and used it. I headed to the restaurant for a course reservation on Tabelog. I sat at a corner seat with a nice view, so I could enjoy the scenery while eating. There were only two people visible in the restaurant, and they provided very polite service, such as guiding us to our seats and taking our coats. The explanation was also polite and enjoyable, and above all, the food was very delicious!! I was surprised at how enjoyable chicken could be. Lastly, a frozen strawberry was served, which was cute. There were both counter and table seats, and the atmosphere was nice, so I would like to use it again.

The moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt too adult-like, and I briefly thought I had dressed inappropriately - but that feeling quickly vanished as the kind smile of the staff escorted me to my seat. Sitting at the counter, it was amazing to see the chef preparing the food right in front of me. The taste was, needless to say, delicious. They also explained how to eat it properly and provided plenty of condiments so I never got bored. It was truly a luxurious time and experience. For lunch, adding a salad and pudding for only an extra 300 yen seems like a good deal, doesn't it?

The restaurant had counter seats and table seats, and the night view was beautiful with many couples. We visited to celebrate a company occasion. We had the Matsusaka Course (11,000 yen) which included dishes like confit of Hichinai Chicken with seasonal vegetable terrine, Achilles salad, grilled wasabi and leek, Hichinai Chicken soup with rare cuts, four types of steamed egg custard, and a choice of hamburger steak or oyakodon for the main dish. Everything was delicious and satisfying. Thank you for the feast.

[Order] Chicken "Mabushi" [Price] 3,300 yen [Rating] Located 30 seconds on foot from Higashi-Ginza Station. Visited during lunch peak hours on a weekday with a reservation made through the official website, which includes a 500 yen discount and a complimentary drink. Not your typical "Hitsumabushi," but a chicken version! Delicious on its own, but also great with rich egg yolk over chicken and rice, or with chicken soup for ochazuke. So tasty that you can't help but express your satisfaction. Although the concept is fantastic, the slightly high price for lunch may be a drawback. Definitely worth it for a special treat. Thank you for the meal.
