A new cafe and dining establishment opened in the neighborhood. Despite the trend of cafes and bars, I appreciate their bold decision to call themselves a "coffee shop." They also serve meals, so I decided to stop by for dessert after finishing my meal. The dessert menu had muffins and pudding, and since they were running out, I ended up ordering both. For my drink, I tried their recommended herb cordial, which is a drink made from herb-infused syrup. They had about six flavors, and I chose the lemongrass-based one, which was refreshing and mildly sweet, a perfect match for the sweets. The caramel banana muffin was moist and fragrant, with caramelized bananas generously mixed in. The taste was just right, not too sweet, made with quality ingredients. The highlight was the pudding, made with rich cream and topped with strawberry sauce, creating a perfect balance of creaminess and fruity sweetness. I also learned that they use coffee beans from a well-known roaster in Sangenjaya. The concept of the shop, named "kenohi," meaning "everyday," emphasizes the importance of cherishing daily life. The owner, in his 20s, left his job to start this business, and I wish him success. The service and food were excellent, and I look forward to dining there again. They also offer a variety of alcoholic beverages, and I found their logo character, whom I named "Kenopi-kun," adorable. I am concerned about their one-person operation during busy times, but overall, I had a great experience and will definitely return for a meal or drinks.
