Opened in mid-July 2022, this place is located right in front of FUJIYA, in a fairly assertive, or what should I say, strong location where there has been a lot of turnover in shops over the past 2-3 years (and on top of that, it has become full of similar shops) that I almost forgot what was there before. During the evening rush hour and on weekends, they often have entry restrictions. FUJIYA, of course, and even the nearby Cozy Corner, I wonder if they are doing okay... Recently, I noticed the tempting smell of freshly baked apple pie that Shatoreze has been promoting. If you see such a sight along the street, you can't help but be curious even if you didn't plan to go in. This time, I could only buy items that last longer, so I didn't buy the apple pie, but I will definitely buy it next time. By the way, here, compared to stores in the countryside, the floor space is small, so the overall variety of products is on the low side. There are few freezers, so the variety of ice cream and frozen foods is particularly limited. It's a shame that there are few types of ice cream, but if you open a store in the city center, visually appealing items like freshly baked apple pie may be more popular. On this day, I enjoyed various products featuring my favorite Nashi Eimu and Setouchi Lemon. And this, the Orange Cake that smells like the sun. Honestly, lemon cake is definitely more delicious (of course, it's my preference, but in terms of the completeness of the product, the lemon flavor is featured more precisely and tastes better), but I was already excited just from the name. The taste of white chocolate is stronger than that of orange. Moreover, the whole thing is overly coated, and the assertiveness of the chocolate is just overwhelming. I felt that the balance was better when about half of the coating was removed. The low unit price makes it nice to buy various items without it adding up to much. On this day, I purchased about 7-8 sweets, but I also bought 3 Nashi Eimu (about 50 yen each), so it was just over 500 yen in total. Shatoreze, which I had only visited in the countryside, suddenly appeared in my living area, making me feel a complex mix of joy and confusion (laughs). I have to be careful not to go there too often. Thank you for the meal.
