Recently, I noticed the tempting smell of freshly baked apple pie that Shatoreze has been promoting. If you see such a sight along the street, you can't help but be curious even if you didn't plan to go in. This time, I could only buy items that last longer, so I didn't buy the apple pie, but I will definitely buy it next time. By the way, here, compared to stores in the countryside, the floor space is small, so the overall variety of products is on the low side. There are few freezers, so the variety of ice cream and frozen foods is particularly limited. It's a shame that there are few types of ice cream, but if you open a store in the city center, visually appealing items like freshly baked apple pie may be more popular. On this day, I enjoyed various products featuring my favorite Nashi Eimu and Setouchi Lemon. And this, the Orange Cake that smells like the sun. Honestly, lemon cake is definitely more delicious (of course, it's my preference, but in terms of the completeness of the product, the lemon flavor is featured more precisely and tastes better), but I was already excited just from the name. It's much tastier compared to unmanned frozen pizzas I've had before. It costs around 250 yen, which was a pleasant surprise. - Souffle Cheesecake with 74% reduced sugar for 626 yen (tax included): I don't need to cut down on sugar, but I picked this up on impulse. Shatoreze, located about a 5-minute walk from Nakano Station, is a bakery, right? I bought ice cream and puree to take home. The ice cream here is delicious, isn't it? This time I got the Shine Muscat ice cream. It has a strong fruit flavor and is delicious. It's light and easy to eat.

I stopped by at Shatorize in Broadway for some shopping. I bought two cakes, a Gâteau Chocolat (324 yen) and a Mascarpone cake (388 yen), along with some various sweets. Although they are not high-end cakes, both of them were delicious enough. Nowadays, it's not uncommon to see cakes priced at 600 or 700 yen each, so when I see the prices of Shatorize's products, I honestly feel relieved. The shop had a steady flow of customers coming in and out, so it seems like there is a demand for their products. (Kuma) I knew about Shatorize and noticed when it opened in Broadway, but it was my first time entering the store. They have a variety of original sweets, both Japanese and Western, and everything is so cheap that I feel like I might end up buying too much. There were many similar customers around, and the store was always bustling with people. They also have yogurt, frozen foods, and low-carb sweets, which is a nice touch. The low-carb dorayaki (183 yen), with 86% reduced sugar, is a normal size and only 106 kcal per piece, which is impressive. The taste is also quite good. The rule for the cakes in the showcase is to order first, then get a ticket and line up at the register. It was a bit chaotic as it seemed like the same person was handling both the register and taking orders. It was a bit tricky to get our order taken. Despite the current situation, everything was so cheap and looked delicious. I didn't buy them, but they had dorayaki for around 120 yen, and karinto manju for 90 yen. The Chocolate Bucky ice cream I wanted was only 64 yen! And it was delicious. I should have bought a box of them.

After exiting from the north exit of Nakano Station and walking straight towards Broadway for about 5-6 minutes, you will reach the entrance of Broadway. On the left side, there is a shop located at the former cafeMIYAMA site. In July, the rare "Chateraise Nakano Broadway Store" opened near the station. I visited the store on November 24th in the afternoon. The store is compact due to its urban setting, with an open layout without doors. There is a showcase of fresh Western sweets at the back, mainly selling cakes. In the front, the sweets are divided into Western sweets, Japanese sweets, and refrigerated/frozen items on the right side. However, due to only having two cash registers, the line at the register is long, and customers need to choose items from the refrigerated/frozen section while waiting in line. I headed straight to the showcase of fresh Western sweets that I had been curious about. I ordered the "Premium Custard Cream Puff" from the staff. I was given a number tag and had to line up at the register with it. It may be better to visit with some extra time when you are in a hurry. The items I purchased this time are as follows: 2 Premium Custard Cream Puffs, 1 Hokkaido Red Bean Dorayaki, and 1 Hokkaido Butter Dorayaki. The Premium Custard Cream Puff was surprisingly large in size. The choux pastry seemed thick, but when I took a bite, it had the perfect texture and softness, with a generous amount of custard filling inside. The custard was not overly sweet, with just the right amount of sweetness that didn't get tiresome until the last bite. At only 198 yen per piece, this product is a steal. I will definitely repurchase this item. It is a product that would surely be appreciated as a gift. Next, the Hokkaido Red Bean Dorayaki. Made with brown sugar and Hokkaido red bean paste, it had a very light texture from the first bite. The red bean paste was not heavy, and the mild sweetness makes it perfect for when you want a slightly sweet treat. At 180kcal, it is low in calories, which would be especially pleasing for women. Lastly, the Hokkaido Butter Dorayaki. It had a slab of butter cream on top of the red bean paste, which created a unique flavor that may be divisive. It was sweet and delicious, but for me, the sweetness was a bit complex. The light texture of the pastry made it disappear quickly, but I felt that the Hokkaido Red Bean Dorayaki had a more consistent deliciousness. The Hokkaido Butter Dorayaki has a Western twist, so it might go well with black coffee! In conclusion, the low-cost, high-quality sweets available here made me want to stop by again soon. With stores like Fujiya and Cozy Corner nearby, Chateraise is sure to give them a run for their money. I hope they continue to strive and do their best!

I always see a line outside this place, almost like they're using some kind of queuing strategy. Is this shop really that great? I used to just walk past with a skeptical look, but then I noticed they have cakes. Wow, you're amazing! Nakano's cake scene has been dominated by Fujiiya and Cozy Corner, so it's nice to have some competition! So, I decided to get my wife's birthday cake from this place. But, my older child said they wanted a Halloween cake, so we ended up getting this pumpkin ghost-looking one instead (laughs). However, the taste is really good. It's sweet but light, so you can keep eating without feeling too heavy. The pumpkin part has a natural sweetness, and I was worried I might get tired of the cream, but that wasn't the case. I'm sorry for doubting the long line strategy. The cake is really delicious. But they should speed up the checkout process (laughs).

Recently, Shatoreze (or Yatsudoki) has been opening more stores in central Tokyo, offering reasonably priced snacks, which is great for someone like me who enjoys affordable treats. This particular store opened on the first floor of Broadway and was always crowded with long lines at first. When it calmed down a bit, I decided to try their Premium Apple Pie for 399 yen (tax included) because it seemed highly recommended and delicious. Unfortunately, I couldn't really appreciate the taste of the pie itself, as it was a bit greasy and lacked enough apple filling. I'm not a big fan of pies to begin with, so I'm curious to hear what people who love apple pie think of it. Shatoreze is known for its "Norie-Mu" which is tasty for its price, and I often end up getting it. It's decently delicious, but the packaging makes it a bit difficult to eat. I'm interested in trying their low-carb pizza that was in the refrigerated case, so I'll go back with a cooler bag when the weather cools down a bit.

There was a Shatres in Nakano Broadway. When I visited on a Saturday night, it was crowded as expected for Shatres. Although it was small, they sold Choco Baki individually. The prices were still cheap. The lacto ice cream had a cheap taste, and the quality of the chocolate was also cheap. However, the crunchy texture of the chocolate was good.

When you think of Chateraise, you remember it as a place where your parents used to buy lots of cakes, ice cream, and sweets when you were a child. However, according to Renzo's review, they also sell pizza. I decided to stop by after work. The store was empty, but there was a bit of a line at the register, so I thought I'd just buy a cake at the cake corner and go home. After having the cake packed, I was given a ticket and told to pay at the register and receive the items. I see, so you have to wait in line to make a purchase after all! So I picked out a few sweets, ice cream, and pizza that caught my eye and got in line. When I picked up the pizza, I felt its thickness, but when I got home and looked at the pizza, I found that two pieces were frozen together. Shatoreze, a popular dessert shop, has opened in Nakano, and I wanted to write a review based on Alann Doronko's review. I purchased two items: Fruit Texture White Peach (tax included 75 yen) and Oven-Ready Margherita Pizza (tax included 205 yen). Fruit Texture White Peach: This ice cream has a peach-like texture with a strong peach flavor. It's quite sweet, and after finishing it, I felt the need to drink water, similar to when I drink peach nectar. Oven-Ready Margherita Pizza: This frozen pizza is innovative in shape and fits perfectly in the toaster oven. It's a satisfying lunch option for around 200 yen. However, my toaster oven's thermostat shuts off before the pizza is fully cooked, so I have to wait for it to cool down and then reheat it for another 2 minutes. It would be great if they could develop a pizza that cooks in the 6 minutes it takes for my toaster oven to shut off.

Based on a recommendation from my wife's friend, I bought three flavors of ice cream: "Chocobacky," "Golden Pine," and "Matcha and Green Tea." "Chocobacky" has crunchy chocolate inside the vanilla, which is delicious. The chocolate isn't too sweet, which is nice. I got hooked on it, so I've been buying it a lot lately (lol). "Golden Pine" feels like eating frozen pineapple. It has chunks of fruit and is juicy. "Matcha and Green Tea" has a subtle green tea flavor with a strong matcha taste, giving it a nice bitterness. It was my first time at Shatres, but there are so many products to enjoy. I want to try their classic cakes next time. I'll definitely be back.

Shatoreze, which I had been envious of in Asagaya and Oimachi, has finally opened in Nakano Ward! The store was not too crowded, with entry restrictions in place due to the current situation. The store had a variety of sweets, including cakes and cookies. However, on a hot day, some of the chocolates were melting due to the heat. The store did not offer freezers for ice creams, so they were already melting when purchased. Despite this, the sweets were delicious and affordable. I also made a mistake of buying an ice cream which melted too quickly, causing a bit of a mess. Overall, it was a good experience, and I plan to return when the weather is cooler.

I happened to come across Shatoreze while shopping in Nakano. I was surprised because I always thought Shatoreze had large street-level stores, but this one was located right near the entrance of Broadway on the 1st floor, almost directly across from Fujiya! It used to be a cafe of a major chain store. Although it's not as spacious as a street-level store, they have a variety of cakes, Japanese and Western sweets, cup desserts, ice cream, baked goods, and frozen pizzas. I like Shatoreze because they offer affordable prices and a wide selection of treats. I ended up spending around 2000 yen because I couldn't resist buying a little bit of everything. My favorite item at Shatoreze is the Basque-style cheesecake in the ice cream and freshly baked goods showcase. Unfortunately, they didn't have it that day, so I bought cream puffs, Japanese sweets, cup desserts, etc. The taste may not be as luxurious as trendy patisseries, but in terms of cost performance, I think it's great! I always end up buying the skewered dumplings in a cup, which come in two flavors - mitarashi and yomogi-an. Each cup contains 4 skewers with 2 dumplings each. I find it appealing just because it's in a cup! Today, I purchased mitarashi and yomogi-an flavors. Despite already having two major Western and Japanese sweet chains near Nakano Station North Exit, Shatoreze opened a new store. That's bold! If I'm shopping in Nakano and looking for snacks to bring home, I think I'll start going to Shatoreze from now on!

In the past, I worked part-time at Chateraise during my student days. When the manager was on early shift or off, I was entrusted with tasks such as reporting sales to the headquarters and planning sales for the next day, even though I was just a part-timer. The area manager treated me well and even invited me to join the company after graduation, but I ended up choosing a different industry. So when I heard that Chateraise was opening in Nakano, I couldn't resist visiting. It may not be the most luxurious, but it's perfect for everyday use. The cakes are still delicious as ever. I hope the cake shop Peko-chan, right across from Chateraise, also does well.

This is Shatoreze Nakano Broadway store. They have delicious snacks like nori mochi, mugwort-flavored dango, and Hokkaido butter dorayaki, all priced at 129 yen each. The store is located in the middle of Nakano Broadway near the north exit. After a light meal, it's a great place to shop for snacks. I tried them at home and for this taste at this price, it's really affordable. I'll definitely be buying from here again! 😄
