Established in 1980, this restaurant is located a 5-minute walk from Musashikoganei Station South Exit. They sometimes have temporary closures, so it's best to check the latest information on Hot Pepper (last time I went, they were closed). Their specialty is vegetable curry, where only vegetables are used as ingredients. It's recommended to order two types of curry with vegetables and another ingredient, such as chicken, pork, beef, scallop, clam, shrimp, seafood mix, or seafood special. Their Pooh's curry is made without flour or oil, using fruits as a base with 20 different spices, along with bonito, kelp, and shiitake mushrooms for umami, and low salt content. The spiciness level is quite high, even when ordering the regular level. The vegetable chicken curry is packed with a variety of vegetables like tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, green beans, bamboo shoots, bell peppers, eggplant, edamame, enoki mushrooms, shimeji mushrooms, baby corn, zucchini, lotus root, Chinese broccoli, fried parsley, potatoes, sweet potatoes, onions, and okra. The curry itself has a thick consistency due to minimal water usage, and the flavor of the 20 spices is evident. Despite the abundance of vegetables, the curry is satisfying without causing stomach discomfort. The dessert, banana peanut ice cream, was also delicious (the ice cream flavor changes daily). I would definitely want to eat here regularly! Thank you for the meal!
