Before going to the restaurant, I saw a feature on Ikebukuro hamburgers on a TV show, so I was worried it would be even more crowded. So, I decided to go at night. At night, they don't serve soup dishes. However, the experts on hamburgers who appear on TV shows like "Ad Street" or "Matsuko's Unknown World" really set the bar high. It's hard to say it's the best hamburger in Tokyo. Well, if you have complaints, just don't watch it. I arrived right after the opening at around 6:00 p.m. There were already several customers, but luckily the counter seats for about four people were available. Oh! The owner has a smooth bald head, just like Kotoge. It's a scary world where even high school baseball players are growing their hair long. It's like a sushi restaurant. I directly ordered the black wagyu hamburger and mini-menchi katsu for 1800 yen from the owner. The staff didn't come to take the order, which made me feel like the owner might scold them later. After a while, the rice was brought, then the mini-menchi katsu, and finally the hamburger. The hamburger came with carrots, broccoli, and potato gratin as side dishes. As mentioned earlier, there was no soup. Even though I wanted to slurp at night, they seem to have a pride in not wanting to be a typical impression restaurant. The hamburger was said to be with demi-glace sauce, but it was more like a sweet teriyaki sauce that most people would like. The mini-menchi katsu surprisingly came with soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce. I enjoyed the shredded cabbage with Worcestershire sauce on the mini-menchi katsu. The meat was packed tightly, and the meat juice seeped out. On the other hand, the hamburger was juicy, but not heavy, more like a light hamburger. It was delicious, but didn't seem like the best. It was just delicious. Personally, I found the mini-menchi katsu more delicious.
