★ 4.0 [FILE 4208] August 22, 2023 (Tuesday) 11:44 Visited a French restaurant that opened in April 2014, located on the 6th floor of the InterContinental Tokyo Bay hotel along the Tokyo Bay coastline. "Current Edition" As of May 2023, there has been a decrease of 1 restaurant, leaving a total of 25 restaurants. I made a reservation through ikkyu restaurant 4 days ago on August 18th (Friday) and visited from Hamanoya Parlor Yurakucho store. The interior of the restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere with an ocean view. There are 36 terrace seats along the Tokyo Bay coastline, and 44 table seats at the back left side, totaling 80 seats, providing a spacious and comfortable dining experience. There were no customers upon arrival. Later, only one group of 2 people entered, so it was very empty. All the customers were women. The service was provided by 2 male staff members who were very polite. The menu includes a lunch course priced at 5,300 yen (tax included) which includes 2 alcoholic drinks, bread, appetizer, soup, main course, dessert, and coffee. The alcoholic drinks available are sparkling wine, red wine, white wine, and beer. I ordered the lunch course priced at 5,300 yen. The course included sparkling wine, colorful tomato and seafood marinade, cold corn potage, bread with orange butter, grilled Kirishima pork with seasonal scent, red wine, Shine Muscat tart, and cappuccino. The service time was approximately 54 minutes: 11:44 Ordered, 11:46 Sparkling wine served, 11:51 Appetizer served, 12:00 Soup served, 12:03 Bread (1st serving) and butter served, 12:07 Bread (2nd serving) served, 12:13 Main course served, 12:19 Red wine served, 12:36 Dessert served, 12:38 Coffee served. The first alcoholic drink served was sparkling wine. The appetizer was a colorful tomato and seafood marinade, presented on a long white plate with the restaurant name, featuring a terrine of summer vegetables and tomatoes, accompanied by squid, snow crab, striped horse mackerel, radish, shungiku, and okra, garnished with red tomato sherry vinegar sauce, green basil sauce, white sakuranbo yane sauce, and black balsamic sauce, creating a colorful and delicious dish. The soup was a cold corn potage served in a triangular glass, garnished on the surface. It was delicious. The bread was soft and tasty. Regular butter was served initially, and walnut bread was provided upon request. The main course was grilled Kirishima pork with seasonal scent, presented on a large round plate decorated in gold and black, accompanied by grilled vegetables such as baby corn, shishito pepper, gobou, and radish, with three large pieces of grilled Kirishima pork, garnished with carrot sauce and red wine sauce. The Kirishima pork was large, moist, tender, and very delicious. The second alcoholic drink served was red wine. The dessert was a Shine Muscat tart, presented on an oval white plate with Shine Muscat tart and yogurt ice cream, garnished with caramel sauce. It was delicious. The coffee served was a cappuccino. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere with an ocean view. Credit card payment is accepted for the bill of 5,300 yen for the lunch course, which includes 2 alcoholic drinks, bread, appetizer, soup, main course, dessert, and coffee. The service was polite, the food was delicious, and the ocean view was wonderful.
