The club is located next to the Russian Embassy, and first-time visitors may have trouble finding the entrance, so taking a taxi is recommended. The dinner cost 20,000 yen, with free-flowing drinks. I love cheesecake, and this one was so delicious that I felt really full afterwards. It was a great meal. It was a bit late when we finished, so the sports bar was already closed. I was invited to a certain party and without much thought, I agreed to attend. It was held at the Tokyo American Club located behind the Russian Embassy in Azabu-Juban. I later found out that this is a members-only club, and without the appropriate funds, it would be difficult to join. Therefore, I am sharing my visit to this place, which I would not have been able to go to on my own. I used the bowling alley on the premises. Bowling, it's been decades since I last played. I remember as a child there were often bowling tournaments, but nowadays bowling alleys are not as common. The food was laid out on tables at the back, with options like hamburgers, fried dumplings, and samosas. It was a mix of different cuisines. As for the taste, let's just say it was on par with my bowling skills. (July 2022)

Although it's in Japan, it feels like a foreign country. Most people here don't wear masks. Today, we went to a restaurant where children are not allowed. I wanted to try the special VENISON tenderloin at first, but when I found out it was deer meat, I changed my mind. My child said the meat here is better than the hamburgers they usually have. It's true! The meat is juicy and rare in the middle, which I love. It was so big that even my big mouth couldn't fit it all in. I added avocado, bacon, and cheddar. I forgot to take a picture, but the gazpacho was delicious with a strong tomato flavor. The coffee was bottomless American size. The members here are amazing. I'm just a guest, but I hope my child can use this place when they grow up and become a corporate member. I couldn't decide on dessert, but the staff recommended carrot cake. I chose lime. It was amazing. I want to come here every day, but I was warned that I might gain weight. They have everything here - spa, library, and the membership fee is high, but the service from the staff is fantastic. It was delicious, and I had a great time chatting with them.

I was brought here by a friend of a member. The area is surrounded by many embassies. Surprisingly, the Russian Embassy is right behind it. The restaurant has high ceilings and has an American style. Since it was lunchtime, we went to a casual restaurant for adults. It's a lovely space. The dress code is usually required, but since our friends are regulars and other guests were also dressed casually that day, they were quite lenient with us. I had a Hanbeger with Mushroom and Swiss Cheese, while my friend had the Turkey melt, which was the day's special. (The catch of the day comes with a salad or soup, French fries, a drink, and dessert). I added Cajun French fries, and my friend considerately ordered the same for us, along with iced tea. We shared the bacon and fig paste that came with my friend's turkey sandwich, and it went really well with the meat! The drink was served in a mega-sized glass, almost like a wine decanter. I got really full from the meal, and couldn't eat anything else that evening. Since the 4th of July is near, the decorations were very patriotic, which reminded me of my workplace atmosphere. By the way, I noticed that there were many Japanese staff members at the restaurant, maybe it's because of the restaurant or because it was lunchtime?

I couldn't go on a trip to America, so I had a Christmas dinner at a members-only American club here. It's a special place where you can enjoy the American size. The plates and the interior are large. It's a place where executives gather, so the flavors are quite sophisticated. At the end of the year, I heard that the TAC Christmas tree is beautiful, so seven of us women went to have dinner. An older woman we are grateful to had a membership, so she made a reservation for us. The restaurant inside the facility is surprisingly cost-effective. Of course, sharing everything among a large group helps, but it's nice to be able to eat Chinese chicken salad and club cake that I used to eat a lot when I lived in America. It's not super delicious or anything, but it's just tasty, has good portions, and allows you to experience an American vibe within Japan. The calamari and onion rings are still delicious.

I ate a hamburger (T-T) The steak was incredibly delicious. The fat was also good and I devoured it. I took the specialty BBQ to go. The spare ribs were also delicious, but the kebab-style meat at the bottom was delicious. It seems like the restrictions due to Corona are starting to be relaxed.

This is my first visit to the American Club at Akabanebashi. A friend who is a member brought me here. The American atmosphere is very cozy and I'm lucky to be able to visit this place I've been curious about. We had lunch in a spacious private room in the basement with 8 people. We had a course meal which included a green salad, bisque, meat dish, and sherbet for dessert. I also had hot coffee as a post-meal drink. During the meal, we enjoyed various soft drinks like oolong tea and orange juice. Since it was a private room, we were able to chat freely and had a great time.

Ate a lot, haha. The Calamari had a deliciously mysterious sauce, and the Crab Clam Chowder had large chunks of crab meat, very satisfying. The flavors were a bit subtle, but I guess that's typical of American food, so it was okay. Both steaks were not too greasy and had a juicy, tender texture without feeling heavy. Even though I ate a lot and felt stuffed, I was enveloped in a strange sense of satisfaction, like when I had steak in America. Finally, we had the Carrot Cake as dessert. It had a classic American taste, not too heavy or overly sweet, and it was delicious. Maybe it was the cheese cream that made it stand out. However, all the dishes here are American-sized, so we ended up ordering double portions of Calamari and Carrot Cake to share among the four of us (^_^;) The flavors are tailored to suit the American members, so if you're not a fan, you might not enjoy it. Also, according to the organizer, there is a big difference in taste between the delicious dishes and the not-so-good ones on the menu (lol).
