なつのぼうし
In Tokyo, there are only 2 unvisited shops left, so I decided to embark on an expedition to Akitsu on the Seibu Line on this day (4/29). I had seen the limited menu for each shop this month online, and I had confirmed that the Akitsu shop would be serving "Spring in the Arctic" on weekends in the latter half of April, so I really wanted to go there. I arrived around 2:30 pm. It was my first time visiting Akitsu, and I realized that it's almost in Saitama Prefecture. I have never been to Saitama Prefecture before, so this was a new experience for me (laughs). Anyway, I arrived at a strange time, so there was no wait. As planned, I ordered the "Spring in the Arctic" (1020 yen, spice level 10), a raw egg (90 yen) for flavor variation, and extra pork fat (100 yen). I also used a coupon for a large serving. The Akitsu shop only has counter seats, but there is plenty of space at the counter, so it feels spacious. In contrast, Shibuya still feels the most cramped. "Spring in the Arctic" is, as the name suggests, a limited-time spring menu. It features Arctic ramen with beaten eggs, green onions, and daikon radish, and the addition of beaten eggs to the soup makes the spiciness of the Arctic soup more mellow and easier to eat, as explained. The bowl arrived in about 5 minutes. Oh, I meant to order it with double the spiciness but I forgot (laughs). The vegetables were not crunchy like in the vegetable ramen, but the green onions and daikon radish had a nice crunchy texture. Since the soup already had beaten eggs in it, it did indeed taste milder compared to the Arctic ramen, but the spiciness remained the same, so it was a different taste experience. This time, I also ordered pork fat for the first time. I added it in halfway through, and the soup became thick and oily, which I didn't really like, so I think I'll skip it next time (✷‿✷). I ordered a large serving, but the large serving at Naka-hon is quite substantial, so I ended up with a full stomach from the spicy dish (laughs). Next time, I'll stick to a regular serving... As I got used to the taste, I will continue to explore different challenges! By clearing what I thought was the most difficult challenge this time in Akitsu, only the main store in Kami-Itabashi remains unvisited! I am very excited for the announcement of next month's limited menu. Depending on the menu, I might have to postpone my visit (laughs). I strolled around the area near the station on my way back and then headed home. Well then, see you later.
