I came back again. This time, I visited with two other people. The price for each dish is a bit high, but the portion size is good for 2-3 people, so it's great for larger groups. However, it's also recommended for a date. This time, we ordered a bit too much, 6 dishes in total. We had wine, starting with champagne and then the waiter selected the rest for us, pairing them with the dishes. The waiter here has a slightly cheerful personality and is helpful with recommendations.
We started with the mackerel, which was delicious as always, with a secret sauce. The mackerel seemed to have a bit less fat this time but was still tasty and beautifully presented. They also brought us bread, as it is a bistro. The pate was slightly coarse, giving a nice texture and meaty flavor.
Next, we had the tartare, which we really wanted to try. It's a popular dish here, so we were lucky to get it this time. It was delicious, but personally, I would try something else next time since there are other menu items I'm interested in.
Then, we had the truffle and cheese omelette, which was actually a souffle omelette. The highlight was the salmon pie, with a strong buttery aroma and thick salmon that paired perfectly with Chardonnay. This was my favorite dish, and I would definitely order it again.
Lastly, we had the roast quail, which has gotten quite expensive at 6000 yen. It was tasty, but considering the high quality and variety of dishes at this restaurant, I might skip this next time. Overall, it's still a wonderful bistro with delicious food. There were a few minor issues with the service this time, but the food made up for it. Prices are increasing, which seems to be a trend, but I would definitely visit again. This is a highly recommended restaurant.
