Last time, when we went with a large group, I found it difficult to distribute the portions, so I decided to go with the course menu. However, the quality of the meat was not great that time, so I thought maybe it's better to order a la carte after all. This time, I ordered a la carte as usual, but it was still not great, so even though it used to be my favorite yakiniku restaurant, I have to lower my rating. I felt that the quality of the meat had dropped, especially with the 10-second loin. It used to be lighter and easier to chew than the marbled three-second loin, which I liked, but this time it was tough and hard to chew. And the prices of the meat had increased overall. The prices at this restaurant seem to fluctuate frequently, sometimes getting cheaper, but I don't feel a sense of stability. Also, even though I made a reservation at 7 pm, which is not late for dinner, they said they only had premium harami, no regular one. It seems like they only source high-priced ingredients from the beginning, ignoring the feelings of customers who value cost performance, which was disappointing. The harami that came out was like marbled meat. Was harami always like this? The meat at this restaurant is generally greasy, which may be good for those who like marbled meat, but those who like lean meat will probably get tired of the similar tasting meat. And the service, which I have always found the worst here, has not improved at all... Not in terms of the staff's attitude, which is not bad at all, but simply because they are so slow at their work. They always seem to have inexperienced part-time staff doing both serving and kitchen assistance, instead of having adequate staff for the business they seem to be doing well. This leads to a chaotic situation where orders don't flow smoothly. We waited a long time for the first drink for the toast, which never came, and the salad came out first. And then, nothing we ordered came for a while... and then suddenly, a lot of dishes came out at once in the second half, causing a shortage of the restaurant's large special plates... They seem to be following orders in the exact order they were received, which leads to such situations. The time management is terrible, and they end up making customers wait at various tables. The cold noodles for the finish were obviously ordered to share, but when we pointed out that there were no plates to share, they said they would bring them and never did. It's just too much... They keep customers waiting, but strictly adhere to the 2-hour time limit, so if they are so inefficient, they should at least extend it to 2 and a half hours. It's very obvious that business is their top priority. Until this horrible service is improved, I don't think I'll go to the Hiroo branch anymore. I hope the manager reads the reviews here and makes improvements. I wonder how the other branches are doing.
