Located in Dogwood Plaza in front of Futakotamagawa Station, this shop offers set meals and O-hitsu dishes with a concept of being able to enjoy them infinitely with their special dashi. I started with the weekday lunch limited set meal where you can choose two out of three types of fried chicken. I chose oil-drenched chicken and tartar sauce. Then, you can choose two side dishes for your ochazuke from several options. Today, I chose salted kombu and mentaiko. On the table, there was wasabi, arare, bonito flakes, and chopped seaweed. You can use these as you like to enjoy your meal to the fullest. It seems you can have unlimited refills of rice and dashi. It was so much fun and delicious. I definitely want to come back again. I thought I wouldn't get too full because it was ochazuke, but surprisingly I was satisfied. I had a healthy meal with vegetables, meat, and ochazuke. With the yen depreciation causing imported food prices to rise, I really want to enjoy domestically produced foods like rice. Komelaku is a chain of ochazuke restaurants mainly in the Tokyo metropolitan area. Their concept is to aim for "everyday life with ochazuke." Wonderful!! While I tend to eat Western food, being born in Japan makes me want to have Japanese food regularly, so I strongly resonate with their concept. They have great attention to detail like using germinated rice for rice, creating a nice atmosphere, and having a high employee ratio in the store. Now, getting to the order: - Chunky Vegetable and Chicken with Black Vinegar Sauce Set Meal ¥1,342 At the Futakotamagawa store, they have two main types of menus: "O-hitsu Gohan" with seafood bowls and "Ochazuke Set Meal" with regular set meals. I chose from the Ochazuke Set Meal menu. The name was long when ordering, but it provides a lot of information about what you'll get! As the name suggests, it had chunky vegetables. The best. The only downside was that the carrots were a bit hard... The chicken was fried and then coated with black vinegar, and the sizes of the vegetables and meat were consistent and easy to eat. After eating the set meal, you're supposed to turn it into ochazuke, so I consciously left some rice. I quickly finished the side dishes and made ochazuke. I chose salted kelp and mentaiko as toppings. I transferred the rice to a ceramic teacup, added bonito flakes and seaweed, sprinkled some rice crackers, poured in the broth, and it was ready. It was incredibly delicious. I might get hooked on ochazuke. I want to try making it at home too. I will definitely visit again if I have the chance.

I wanted to eat seafood dishes easily, so I decided to try this place. I ordered the yuzu-flavored scallop and salmon sashimi rice bowl. The taste was delicious, but I felt that the amount of ingredients was much less than shown in the photos... Especially the scallops, which were barely visible. I could taste them a little when eating, but... I wish they would make the container a bit smaller so that the rice is not so visible. When it was served, I felt a sense of disappointment like, "Is this it?" The presentation is disappointing! Also, the staff's service is not good. There is a clear difference in how they treat male and female customers, and overall, it feels sloppy. Is there a difference in the staff members? The yuzu flavoring is nice, but if you are expecting a seafood rice bowl, you might end up feeling disappointed.

Located a 3-minute walk from Futakotamagawa Station, Komelaku's Futakotamagawa branch received a rating of 3.05 during the visit. This chain restaurant specializes in seafood dishes. The Avocado and Salmon Rice Bowl (1220 yen excluding tax) with extra toppings (100 yen excluding tax) of onsen tamago (soft-boiled egg) and maguro (tuna) is recommended. The basic ingredients include salmon, avocado, and cucumber, accompanied by a small side dish of curry-flavored potato salad. The rice can be enjoyed as is or in a tea-infused style, with the addition of condiments. Personally, I recommend eating it in a tea-infused style with condiments, as it was very delicious. Be sure to give it a try!

Before going to see the movie "Don't Toy with Me, Miss Nagatoro," I stopped by a restaurant and had grilled mackerel with plenty of vegetables and grated daikon. The grilled mackerel and vegetables were delicious, and I ended up eating them quickly and forgot to eat my rice. So, I scooped out some rice into a tea bowl, added toppings, poured plenty of dashi broth, and topped it with seaweed and rice crackers to make ochazuke. It was delicious. I also enjoyed adding mentaiko, wasabi, and other toppings to make it more flavorful. I had fun even before watching the movie.

When I visited after a long time, I found a new weekday-only service. They now offer several vegetable side dishes along with rice and refillable dashi broth. While the system is impressive, the taste of the side dishes was not very good. It seems like the restaurant has shifted towards a "quantity over quality" approach. The main dishes still taste good, which is a shame.

The taste itself is typical of a chain restaurant, and if it's just decently tasty, then that's fine. However, being urged to leave with plenty of time before closing, or having staff start closing and cleaning while customers are still eating, is not ideal. I wonder what the manual or guidelines are for this situation.

Dinner was used. It was crowded even on a weekday. Ordered the following: - Hokkai rice with salmon and salmon roe ¥1180 - Hakata rice with simmered pork, pickled greens, and spicy cod roe ¥1180 (extra rice for free!) The dishes were served exactly as shown in the menu photos! It's great that you can make ochazuke with the leftover half. Plus, you can add unlimited seaweed, bonito flakes, and furikake, which is nice! With plenty of ingredients, you can enjoy eating until the end without getting tired. I'm full! Thank you for the meal.

I had a late lunch in Futakotamagawa. I wasn't feeling well, so I was looking for something gentle on my stomach, and I found this restaurant! It was quite crowded, but I managed to get in without waiting in line. The menu is divided into two main sets: a set with two servings of rice in a pot, one with ochazuke and the other with donburi, and a set with plenty of vegetables and ochazuke called the ochazuke set. There are many different types to choose from, so deciding on a menu can be tough. On weekdays, you can get free refills of rice and dashi, and there are affordable dessert sets available. I decided to try the seasonal limited edition buri (yellowtail) warm ochazuke rice. It was the perfect choice! It came with a small side dish set. The buri was plentiful and delicious. First, I tried it with the sauce poured over it. Delicious! Next, I made ochazuke. I put the rice and buri in a bowl, sprinkled toppings (seaweed, bonito flakes, rice crackers, wasabi) on top, and poured dashi over it. The color of the buri changed, and it was delicious again! Both ways of eating were delicious, and I alternated between them. I was very satisfied.

I stopped by for dinner and enjoyed a Japanese set meal that was both delicious and reasonably priced. When you order the set meal, it comes with a pot of dashi for ochazuke (tea poured over rice) and a choice of two side dishes (I chose mentaiko and pickled vegetables). Along with condiments like arare and nori on the table, you can finish off your meal with ochazuke. The salted ankake sauce on the swordfish fry was tasty, and it came with plenty of deep-fried eggplant, turnip, and potatoes, making for a visually appealing dish. I found the portion size just right, and overall, it was a thoughtful and enjoyable set meal.

Visited with my mother and sister, arrived around 11:30 on a Sunday and had to wait for about 5 groups ahead of us. My sister recommended this place. I ordered the seafood rice bowl with plenty of whitebait (large serving). Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but it was surprisingly good, like a seafood version of Nagoya's hitsumabushi. It was served in a wooden rice container and then transferred to a small side bowl to eat. After eating some, you can pour the broth provided in a mini pot for a change in flavor. The overall taste was quite enjoyable, even though the restaurant had a rating in the 3.0 range on Tabelog. The lunch for three people cost over 5000 yen, which felt a bit expensive but still within an acceptable range.

Well, that's just how it is. It seems like opening a restaurant in a department store or similar place can be costly, which can make the prices seem high. The option to choose toppings was a bit overwhelming, and the portion sizes were a bit surprising. The staff, mostly young women, were polite and the overall atmosphere was safe. It felt like they played it safe with the menu, maybe they could have put more effort into the dishes.

I had a late lunch with a seafood bowl filled with plenty of whitebait. It was so delicious (*≧∀≦*) There was really a lot of whitebait, as well as plenty of tuna, salmon, and salmon roe. The tea for ochazuke was also hot, it was the best.

I found this place while shopping with friends in Futako Tamagawa! When I went, it was not crowded and we were seated right away! I started by eating it normally, then poured soup over it to make ochazuke. It was really delicious! I will definitely go back again!

I went with my friend! We ordered the best match menu of avocado and salmon! We also added tuna topping! It was delicious to eat as it is, and even more delicious when poured with broth, and the taste of the broth was also excellent. ✨

I love ochazuke and changed my plans for lunch to try the kajiki set meal. The lemon-flavored kajiki with vegetables was very refreshing and suitable for the upcoming season. However, one disappointing aspect was that the overall seasoning had too much salt, throwing off the balance of flavors. It's a shame. How about the other menu items?
