I was guided to enjoy fishing inside the store, so I tried it out. I thought it would be a great experience for elementary school children to catch their own fish and have it cooked right away. They supported us in fishing, and we successfully caught a sea bream. It was very exciting. We had half of it as sashimi and the other half grilled with salt. It was delicious. We also ordered various other dishes. We tried shrimp fishing as well, but we couldn't catch any, so in the end, the staff scooped some up with a net and grilled them with salt for us. They were also delicious.

However, there were a lot of children in the restaurant, so if you're not good with kids, it's better to avoid. Be careful as the fish might splash water.

I went to Zauo, where you can fish for your own fish to eat. We ordered the "Fish Shabu Course" which came with 5 fishing tickets per person. Since there were 3 of us, we had a total of 15 tickets! We caught turban shells, sea bream, and shrimp to enjoy in a shabu-shabu, tempura, grilled, and sashimi style. We were very satisfied. In addition to the fish we caught, the course included: seasonal appetizers, chef's recommended dish, rice porridge or udon noodles as a main dish, and dessert. The price was 4,950 yen including tax, which is very reasonable. We also enjoyed a 2-hour premium all-you-can-drink option for 1,800 yen including tax, so we were able to enjoy fishing while savoring bottled beer for a total of 7,000 yen. It was my first time at Zauo! It was a very enjoyable experience with a lot of entertainment. After catching the fish I wanted, they even took a photo for me. The sea bream I caught was prepared as sashimi and simmered, and it tasted even better knowing I caught it myself. It was delicious! Just be careful, as water splashes quite a bit while fishing, so it's best not to wear your nicest clothes when visiting.

There were two fish tanks where children could enjoy watching the fish. Foreign visitors seemed to be having fun too. We sat near the tanks, so it was a bit gross when the fish food flew towards us. While the fishing aspect was far from actual sea fishing, as entertainment at a drinking establishment, it was top-notch. They caught flounder, sea bream, conger eel, and horse mackerel using bait fishing and hooks, and enjoyed them as sashimi, salt-grilled, tempura, and fry dishes. The freshness of the fish made the meal delicious. There were a few fish that seemed a bit lackluster, but as the first activity of the fishing club, it was a perfect score. They left the restaurant full and satisfied from the fresh fish and all-you-can-drink option.

We went to Zauo in Shibuya on 3/9 and had the fish we caught cooked for us. Some dishes could be made from just one fish, and it was so fun to catch them. We went as a group of two and ended up with full stomachs. It's a bit pricey, so it seems more enjoyable to go with a larger group.

I made a reservation around 5:30 pm on a holiday and chose this restaurant because I thought my children would enjoy it. They cook the fish you catch into sashimi, fried dishes, and karaage. I had the flounder as sashimi and fried. It cost just under 4,000 yen. I also tried the bone senbei for an additional 250 yen. The most delicious dish was the eel tempura, which cost around 1,700 yen. It was by far the best eel I have ever tasted. Freshly caught fish is truly delicious. I used this place that I had been interested in for a while because I wanted to go out for a fun meal with my high school classmates (⑅•ᴗ•⑅). The course came with fishing tickets, and we were able to catch a big fish (sea bream) and carabineros shrimp and turban shells with just one ticket! It was fun to fish together and the fish we caught was delicious. The course had a huge volume!

I had been curious about this restaurant since watching it on TV, and it was even more delicious than I expected. They cooked the sea bream and horse mackerel that we caught ourselves. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and the texture was amazing. You can also add miso soup using the leftover parts for an additional 180 yen, which is definitely worth it. The sea bream simmered dish was tasty, but I wish I had tried the salt-grilled fish or fried fish instead of that. The drinks were served in chilled glasses and were excellent. The only downsides were that the restaurant was a bit noisy and the area didn't seem very safe, and the fish dishes were quite expensive, so the cost performance was not the best. If you just want to drink or eat, it might be better to try a different place. I would consider coming back here for a larger group gathering.

It was incredibly fresh, still alive in the tank, and the sashimi we had was delicious. Considering the cost of the fishing tickets and the experience of catching and eating the fish, it seems like a good deal. The restaurant has a family-friendly atmosphere, and it's a great place for children to experience catching and eating their own fish. The sashimi of the sea bream, prawn, and abalone were all reasonably priced and tasted fantastic. Overall, it's better to avoid ordering the set meals, pay for the fish caught separately, and enjoy the fresh sashimi. The experience at the restaurant is like an amusement park for food education, and it's worth the visit.

Near Tokyu Hands in Shibuya, there is a fishing experience izakaya. Taking children there definitely boosts the excitement. They provided fishing rods and there was a tank where fish were swimming, making it easy to catch them. We also tried catching shrimp and eel with a net, but it was a bit challenging so the staff helped us. After catching the fish, they rang a drum and cooked the fish for us, even making miso soup with the fish bones. The food was fresh and delicious. It was a unique experience and there were many different dishes to try from one type of fish. We initially planned to go with just 2 people, but realized that going with a larger group allowed us to try a wider variety of dishes.
