We were talking about leaving Alvino and going to eat sushi in just 45 minutes, but the restaurant we wanted to go to was closed because it was a holiday. We were unsure of what to do when someone suggested that since we were still quite full, it might be a good idea to line up at Kamo to Negi, which had a long line. There was a staff member directing people to line up in the right place and advising on when to buy food tickets from the vending machine. We waited for about 20 minutes to buy the food tickets, and then another 20 minutes to enter the restaurant. It took a total of 40 minutes to get seated. Once we were seated, the food arrived in just 1 minute. We ordered the duck ramen (980 yen) with toppings of green onions and thick white onions. The straight thin noodles were delicious, and the soup was quite rich. We also ordered the duck broth dipping noodles (1050 yen), which arrived just 1 minute after the ramen. The medium-thick noodles in the dipping sauce were slightly sweet. When eaten with the duck ramen soup, the noodles seemed too thick and the soup too light. It may be that the noodles themselves were too sweet. The duck ramen was definitely more delicious. We finished eating in 10 minutes after being seated and left the restaurant.

I was working in Ueno and decided to walk back home from the Okachimachi area. I noticed that there wasn't much of a line today at a place that usually has long queues, so I took the chance and lined up. It was around 3 pm on a weekday and there were only about 5 groups ahead of me. The soup options were limited to just one type, a duck broth soup, showing the shop's confidence in their specialty. I ordered the Duck Ramen for 980 yen and the Fatty Taku Don for 320 yen. I really wanted to try the wontons, but unfortunately, they were sold out. Feeling frustrated, I thought about getting the parent and child bowl, but that was also sold out. So, I ended up getting the Fatty Taku Don and waited about 10 minutes before being seated. The staff who showed me to my seat was a foreigner. The seating was all at the counter, with about 8 seats in an L-shaped arrangement. I was surprised to see tatami mats giving a traditional Japanese feel to the place, although they looked a bit worn out. The Duck Ramen was served in about 5 minutes, and my first impression was "beautiful." The clear soup with thin noodles and vibrant duck chashu was beautifully presented. The green onions were a mix of domestic scallions and leeks, and I was asked to choose two at the entrance. The light duck broth soy sauce soup paired perfectly with the thin noodles. I couldn't stop eating. I wish they offered a larger portion size! After finishing the ramen quickly, I moved on to the Fatty Taku Don. I was a bit skeptical about a ramen shop's Fatty Taku Don, but one bite changed my mind. It was delicious, especially when I poured some ramen soup over it. Lastly, the restaurant was too hot inside, and I couldn't stop sweating. That's all from the scene.

I visited a popular ramen shop near Ueno Station on a weekday night. Despite it being a weekday night, it was very crowded and I had to wait for about 30 minutes. I ordered the Duck Confit Ramen (1,260 yen). It had a rich and flavorful duck broth that was both gentle and delicious. The noodles were thin and firm. I finished it quickly because it was so good. Thank you for the meal.

Duck wonton noodles. The wontons have a little less filling so you can enjoy the texture. Honestly, it's not really my preference, but it's still delicious. Now, taking a sip of the soup. Hmm, the flavor of the duck and the richness are pleasant. The noodles are thin, and although the bowl is small, it's actually quite filling. The green onions are fragrant, and the chopped green onions are a nice accent when eaten with the soup. It's recommended to try adding yuzu pepper for a flavor change, and it really goes well together once you mix it in, just be careful not to add too much. Overall, I'm quite satisfied, but I might recommend a regular ramen or chashu noodles instead. The chashu is really delicious! Even after 2 PM, there were still about 10 people waiting in line! Truly a popular spot, but I think it's worth the wait! Thank you for the meal!

◆Recommended Points◆ You can enjoy delicious ramen with a rich flavor of duck and green onions in a soup that is made without any artificial seasonings!!! ◆Order◆ ・Duck Ramen (980 yen) ・Egg topping (150 yen) ◆Impressions◆ The soup has a light soy sauce flavor, but the richness of the duck is well blended in. You can choose two types of green onions for this month, but I mistakenly only chose one... I had to ask my friend to share some of their green onions for color balance... haha The popularity of this dish is understandable as it was very delicious!!! ★Thank you for the meal★

This popular restaurant had about 5 people waiting in line around 10:30 AM, despite the heavy rain from an approaching typhoon. The system here is to buy meal tickets before lining up. I chose duck and wonton ramen with a mini oyakodon and joined the line. Customers were leaving quickly, so I didn't have to wait long to get inside. Soon, the oyakodon arrived, with the egg nicely runny and deliciously saucy. The ramen, flavored with duck broth, was light yet flavorful. Overall, it was tasty, although the wontons were not really necessary.

I had a light meal with my friend, enjoying some lotus root nearby, and then finished with duck and green onion. The thin whole grain noodles in duck broth were delicious, with a strong salty flavor today but still enjoyable due to the richness of the broth.

Thursday night at 7:50 pm. You can buy your meal ticket in advance, and there is a ticket machine outside which is convenient. The place has a high percentage of young people, with only a few older men like myself. After waiting in line for about 20 minutes, I was finally able to enter the restaurant. The soup with no artificial seasoning was a bit light for my taste, unfortunately. However, the parent and child rice bowl was delicious. (There was ice in the beer for some reason, even though it was already cold enough.)

I felt like having noodles, so I visited this place. It had been about a year since my last visit. It was quite crowded, and I had to wait for about 20 minutes before being seated. Today was hot, so I ordered duck broth dipping noodles and a bottle of beer. The dipping noodles had gone up in price by 100 yen. Finally, it was my turn and I entered the restaurant. The seating arrangement was the same as before, and the restaurant felt hot. After a few minutes of waiting, my order arrived. I handed in my ticket, so the service was quick. However, it was still hot inside. The dipping noodles were as delicious as ever. The beer was also enjoyable, especially in the heat.

I wanted to try the duck ramen and scallion duck ramen. This popular shop always has long lines, so I never got to eat there before. But today, I had some time so I decided to wait in line and try the famous duck ramen. The duck broth had a rich flavor, and the soy sauce soup had a nice aroma and depth. The noodles had a chewy texture similar to soba noodles. The duck chashu was also delicious, with a great duck flavor when you bite into it. The scallions paired well with the duck, it was really tasty ramen. The oyakodon also looked delicious, I would love to try it again.

On Saturday evening, I lined up for about 30 minutes before entering the restaurant. The customers were mostly young, with about half of them being foreigners. While waiting in line, they collected our food tickets, but did not give us any stubs, which made me worry about potential issues.
Duck ramen (980 yen): The noodles were made with whole wheat flour, which I liked. The duck confit was thin and a bit flimsy, but the flavor was good. I had expected a stronger duck aroma, so while it was tasty, it left me feeling a bit unsatisfied. I enjoyed it with the two choices of green onions and yuzu pepper until the end.
Overall impression: It felt like someone had made ramen using consomme from French cuisine, and it would definitely be delicious! It was like trying out the idea of making ramen with consomme that you would normally have as a starter or at the end of a course meal.

I grew up in western Japan, so maybe my taste buds are not very sensitive? I find the flavors to be weak and can't appreciate the umami. The noodles are thin, which I like. The soy sauce soup is light and clear. There are two slices of duck chashu, with a strong gamey texture and flavor. The toppings of green onions and garlic chives have a nice aroma. But overall, the lack of strong flavors is disappointing.

I visited around 5:00 PM. I bought my meal ticket in advance and waited in line for about 15 minutes before being seated at the counter. The air conditioning was not working well, so it was very hot. There was a tatami mat on the table, adding a touch of Japanese atmosphere (there were many foreign customers). I ordered duck ramen and oyakodon. The ramen had a strong duck broth with a soy sauce base. The green onions were very flavorful, but maybe I had set my expectations too high (perhaps because it was too hot to fully enjoy the taste). The oyakodon arrived after I had eaten more than half of my ramen (I wish it had come out sooner). The egg was runny and tasted better than the ramen! Honestly, the duck meat had a slightly strong flavor.

I visited "Kamo to Negi" during a late lunch on a weekday, despite always seeing long lines and giving up. The soup, which was surprisingly flavorful despite being free of chemical seasonings, was truly impressive. I ordered the duck wonton noodles, and the soup was incredibly delicious. The noodles were thin straight noodles made with whole wheat flour, complementing the rich flavor of the soup perfectly. The wontons had a thin and chewy texture with a small amount of meat filling, which paired well with the soup. The toppings included two slices of duck meat, two types of green onions, and bamboo shoots. The duck meat had a strong flavor despite being thin, and the green onions added a nice touch. Overall, the dish was well-balanced and delicious. Adding yuzu pepper for a flavor change towards the end was also tasty. Despite the heat, I managed to finish the whole bowl of soup!

Today I had the "Duck and Green Onion Ramen" at Ramen Shimemaru. I had been curious about the duck and green onion combination, so I finally tried it! The flavor was elegant, but I think it would be even more delicious if the duck broth was stronger (just my personal opinion). Thank you for the meal. I arrived around 11 o'clock. I waited in line for about an hour. It was quite hot during the day. The taste was delicious. The soup was made purely with "duck, green onions, and water"! They don't use anything else. Those looking for a punch might be disappointed. The taste is very refined. Thank you for the meal.

Around 10:30 am on a Monday, after finishing my health checkup, I visited the restaurant and there were about 20 people waiting in line. There were many Asian foreigners in line. I waited for about 30 minutes before entering. The counter tables had a tatami-like design, which was consistent with the restaurant's concept. I received my bowl of noodles in about 10 minutes. The soup had a strong flavor of duck broth. The noodles matched well with the soup, and it was enjoyable to add some yuzu pepper for extra flavor. The duck chashu was also delicious. It seems that there is a long line on weekends, but I'm not sure if I would wait that long... However, if the line is not too long, I would like to visit again.
