I felt like eating soba, so I went to this restaurant. I ordered the 2-piece tempura soba set for 540 yen, which was very cheap, and the place was crowded with office workers. It was really helpful to be able to eat freshly boiled and firm soba at such a low price, and with additional flavors like grated daikon. The tempura was crispy and delicious. I also became interested in the pork cutlet rice bowl set at the soba shop. Thank you for the meal~.

I've always heard people saying they love Komoro soba at standing soba noodle shops, but I never had the chance to go for a few years. Finally, I passed by this shop at lunchtime and was drawn in, so I decided to try it out. I ordered the sticky and thick broth style soba with an egg on top. And since I was already there, I also got the tempura chicken. I went to the counter with my meal ticket and was told to wait a bit as they boiled the soba. It took quite some time, but when the soba arrived, it was amazing! It wasn't the typical stretchy soba, but it was really delicious! And all this at a similar price to other standing soba noodle shops. The tempura chicken was pre-fried, so it was a bit cold, but the batter was crispy and the chicken was juicy and tasty. I was so impressed that I became a fan and I definitely want to come back in the future. Thank you for the meal.

I entered the restaurant around 8:45 pm on a regular Tuesday. It is located on a corner lot. The interior has counter seats, so it is comforting for solo diners. It operates with a ticket machine. I ordered the "Mori Dai" with 1.5 servings of soba noodles. The soba noodles here are firm and cold, which I really like! They are delicious! You can add as much green onions as you want, which is a nice touch!

Before 8pm at Kanda Station North Exit. It was hot and I didn't have much of an appetite, so I decided to have some cold soba at Komoro Soba tonight. I ordered the tempura corn soba (460 yen). The restaurant was crowded, but I was lucky to find an empty table for two. Soon, I heard from the kitchen, "The tempura corn soba is ready," and went to pick it up. The tempura corn was served in a separate plate. It had a hint of sweetness from the corn, but there was too much batter on the tempura tonight compared to last week. The cold soba was delicious with its firm texture and flavorful broth. I enjoyed adding wasabi and chopped green onions, as well as sprinkling yuzu pepper for extra flavor. I ended up serving myself the soba water from the thermos, which was a self-service method. Despite being able to stand on the train ride back on the Chuo Line, I didn't feel too tired, but my appetite at night was still lacking. I can't wait for the cooler season to arrive. Maybe it's a chance for a diet now? Leave me alone.

Kanda Station North Exit at 7:30 PM. It was hot and I didn't have much of an appetite, but I decided to go to Komoro Soba for some cold soba. I ordered the corn tempura cold soba (460 yen). The restaurant was crowded, but I luckily found a seat at the counter by the wall. The tempura corn came out quickly. The sweetness of the corn was delicious. The cold soba had a nice texture and paired well with the broth. I enjoyed adding wasabi, chopped green onions, and yuzu pepper for extra flavor. Unfortunately, the soba water that should have come out if there was space did not make an appearance this time. What, am I having cold soba for dinner three days in a row? Just leave me alone.

Kanda Station North Exit at 6:30 PM. I went to Komoro Soba to try their "Corn Tempura Soba". I saw the flag last night and decided to visit the restaurant today. The Corn Tempura Soba cost 460 yen. The restaurant was not crowded at that early hour, so I sat at a table for two. The kitchen quickly called out "Corn Tempura Soba is ready" and I went to pick it up. The corn tempura was served in a separate dish. You could taste the sweetness of the corn. I took a bite of the cold soba, which had a nice texture and tasted delicious with the broth. I enjoyed adding wasabi, chopped green onions, and yuzu pepper to change the flavor. As more customers arrived, unfortunately, the soba water that was supposed to be served if there were available seats did not come. Maybe I should just drink the water on the table instead.

Tokyo has a soba chain in Kanda, called Komoro Soba. Today's choice for breakfast on a business trip is soba. Kanda has many shops like Fuji Soba, Kameya, Tenka, and Sobaichi that are open early in the morning, which is convenient. Today, I tried Komoro Soba for the first time. I ordered a curry rice bowl and soba set from the ticket machine. It arrived in just a few minutes. The soba is very delicious. It has a good texture and aroma. The noodles are excellent. The broth is dark in color but not too sweet or strong. The curry was surprisingly spicy and had a good flavor, like an upgraded version of cafeteria curry. It's a well-balanced soba dish. I'm satisfied from the morning meal. Thank you for the meal.

After 7 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. I usually try to eat something warm and good for my body, but tonight I felt like having cold soba after a long time, so I went to Komoro Soba. I ordered the Goma-Dare Seiro (450 yen). It seemed like the summer vacation season had started, as the restaurant was empty, and I sat at a table for two. Soon, I heard from the kitchen, "Goma-Dare Seiro is ready," and went to pick up my tray. I dipped the cold soba in the sesame sauce and took a bite. The firm soba noodles mixed well with the sesame sauce and tasted delicious. I enjoyed changing the flavor by adding ground sesame, chopped green onions to the sesame sauce, or sprinkling yuzu shichimi on top. What's that? Why didn't I use ground sesame in front of my boss? Just leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

Sesame sauce dipping soba for 450 yen (seasonal limited edition). Today, I had breakfast in Kanda. The end of the rainy season is near, and I can feel the peak of summer approaching. The highest temperature today in Tokyo is 37°C. It's been scorching hot lately, and today is no exception. On days like this, I crave cold dishes. I arrived at 7:12 AM and there were 6 customers already seated and 3 customers behind me. I decided to try the seasonal limited edition sesame sauce dipping soba. It consists of ground sesame seeds mixed with soba noodles, topped with chopped green onions and seven spice seasoning. I love sesame sauce, so even when my appetite is low, it goes down smoothly. The soba noodles today were firm and had a nice texture, probably freshly boiled. As always, I finished with a crunchy pickled plum for a palate cleanse. It was delicious. Reviewed on July 12, 2023, during breakfast.

I wanted something light and refreshing for dinner, so I had the chilled nukisoba for 410 yen. The restaurant Small Town Soba is known for their chilled noodles. The thin and elegant soba noodles paired perfectly with the rich broth, just as I had hoped. It was delicious and refreshing. Thank you for the meal.

Sesame sauce soba noodles for 450 yen (seasonal limited edition). It's rainy season and it's been raining since morning today. Despite the rain, I stopped by a restaurant in Kanda for breakfast. I arrived at 7:20 am and there were 9 customers already seated and 3 customers came in after me. I ordered the seasonal menu item, sesame sauce soba noodles. As usual, I poured sesame sauce and ground sesame seeds over the soba noodles. I placed the chopped green onions next to the noodles and added them as I ate. The slightly sweet sesame sauce was so delicious, it's addictive. Finally, I finished with the crispy pickled plum to refresh my palate. I enjoyed my meal. Date of visit: June 12, 2023. Rating: 3.16

I had breakfast in Kanda, where I enjoyed a sesame sauce soba for 450 yen (seasonal limited item). I arrived at 7:16 am and there were 6 customers before me and 7 customers after me. It had been about 4 months since my last visit. I wondered if I could use my Suica card and if the ticket machine had changed. I ordered the sesame sauce soba and sprinkled ground sesame on the soba noodles with green onions on the side. The slightly sweet sesame sauce matched well with the soba noodles. As always, I finished the sesame sauce before finishing the soba noodles. After finishing my meal, I refreshed my mouth with a crispy plum. It was a delicious breakfast on May 31, 2023.

After 8 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. As it has gotten warmer, I decided to go to Komoro Soba. I ordered the Fried Eggplant Oroshi Soba (530 yen) after seeing the poster at the storefront. The set with Inari Sushi included was 630 yen, but it was already sold out, leaving only the Fried Eggplant Oroshi Soba. In the kitchen, cold soba was topped with fried eggplant, okra, bonito flakes, and grated daikon, and it was served promptly. The combination of fried eggplant, okra, grated daikon, and cold soba was irresistible. While last time I started to notice a sour taste in the broth, this time the taste was much better without much sourness. I also added yuzu pepper midway through for a change in flavor. It was a cheap and low-calorie dinner for saving money and dieting. What, are you thinking I'll eat a banana in the middle of the night because I'm a little hungry? Leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

At 8:30 in the evening in Kanda. I had a hearty welcome lunch at work for a new employee during the day, so I decided to go easy for dinner at Komoro Soba near the north exit. There was a banner outside the store for the "Shrimp Tempura Festival". Until April 26th, you get an extra shrimp tempura on your order. I was called to my seat after about a minute and the shrimp tempura soba was brought to me on a tray. The shrimp tempura was not piping hot, but I added plenty of chopped green onions from the table and enjoyed the shrimp tempura with 3 shrimp, greens, and fish cake toppings. I sprinkled yuzu pepper on top from the table for flavor variation and enjoyed it deliciously. What, did I switch the evening welcome party at work to a lunch party because it would be expensive? Mind your own business~ (-_-メ)

I purchased a set of rosukatsu don and soba from the ticket vending machine. It's a bit far from the station, but compared to Fuji Soba and Soba Ichi near the station, it has a good volume and is delicious. If you want to eat soba in Kanda, this is the place to go. Thank you for the meal.

Soba restaurant's flavored meat dashi chazuke set for 450 yen. Today, I had breakfast in Kanda. The temperature this morning was -3°C, freezing cold. I found a "soba restaurant's flavored meat dashi chazuke set" that I've never seen before, so I decided to try it out. I entered the restaurant at 7:17 AM and there were 8 customers already seated and 8 customers waiting. I was told that the service might take a bit of time, so I waited. The soba came with toppings of mitsuba, tororo (grated yam), and tenkasu (crunchy bits). The chazuke had flavored pork belly, white sesame, green onions, and mitsuba. I added yuzu pepper, poured the dashi, and enjoyed it. The dashi was a bit lukewarm, which was disappointing. The soba was warm with tororo and topped with tenkasu. The slimy texture of tororo went down smoothly. Finally, as always, I had crispy umeboshi (pickled plum) to refresh my palate. It was delicious. Used for breakfast on January 25, 2023. Rating: 3.17

It was 8:00 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. The Kyoto-style curry shop had a "sold out" sign, so I headed to Komoro Soba on my way back to the station. I ordered the large portion of tempura soba (460 yen), which includes green onions, dried shrimp, squid legs, carrots, and onions in the tempura. The restaurant was quite crowded, but I managed to find a seat at the counter by the wall and received my soba bowl. The bowl was bigger than usual, with a cute tempura sitting on top of the soba. I added plenty of chopped green onions to make it more flavorful, but it didn't feel as packed with ingredients as I had hoped. The tempura was hot, maybe because it was late. I enjoyed changing the flavor with yuzu shichimi while finishing the meal. If only the texture was a bit better... What, I shouldn't complain when I'm getting change back from a one coin? Leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

At 6:30 pm at Kanda Station North Exit. Went to Komoro Soba. Ordered the Shiba Ebi Tempura Soba (520 yen) as advertised on the sign outside. The restaurant was quite busy, so I placed my bag on the counter seat by the wall and went to pick up my soba. The soba came with shrimp tempura on top, sesame shimeji mushrooms in the broth around the soba, and plenty of chopped green onions. The shrimp tempura had a nice chewy texture and was delicious! The texture of the sesame shimeji mushrooms was also good, and I enjoyed changing the flavor with yuzu shichimi pepper. I finished it in no time. What, no window seats in this place? Before 8 pm at the north exit of Kanda Station. I went to Komoro Soba. I ordered the Shiba Ebi Kakiage Soba (520 yen) that was on the poster at the storefront. The restaurant was empty, so I placed my bag on a table and went to pick up my soba bowl. On top of the soba noodles were crispy Shiba shrimp kakiage, and the broth around the soba had mushrooms. There were plenty of chopped green onions added for a hearty meal. The plump and chewy Shiba shrimp was delicious! The texture of the mushrooms was also good, and I enjoyed changing the taste with yuzu shichimi pepper. I finished it in no time. A female employee who happened to pass by kindly cleared the table. She may not stand out in the restaurant, but her customer service was very likable. "Is it okay that it's over 1000 yen for both lunch and dinner?" Just leave me alone~ (-_-メ)

Headed to Kobarisoba at Kanda Station North Exit at 6:30 pm. Decided to save money after a luxurious lunch. Ordered the Tsukimi Soba (390 yen) from the food ticket machine. The bowl had a raw egg in the center, with green vegetables and fish cake. Added a lot of chopped green onions from the table. Surprisingly, the soba had a good amount of volume. Enjoyed it while changing the taste with yuzu shichimi on the table. And no, I won't be having a banana as a late-night snack because I'm not hungry!
