Today, I went to a French restaurant with my parents and coincidentally, we were seated at the same table as when I visited with my nieces and nephews last time. The food was delicious as always and stylish, making me want to go back soon. After the meal, we had tea in the lounge. It was a fun holiday. ✨ (Posted on Stories)

I used it for a special day with my master. It's my second time. There were more seats in the space than when I visited last time, and the course meal felt cramped in the two-person seat. To be honest, it wasn't a very calming atmosphere... (partly because the previous seat was too good.) The service, including the timing of the serve, was still great. As for the food, the palette of five tastes was impressive in appearance and taste, and I enjoyed it with excitement. The appetizers and main dishes were all delicious. However, I was a little disappointed that the tea sweets did not come out this time...

Lunch with my mother at La Provence in Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay. The downside of Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay is the poor access from the station. The luxurious interior of the hotel gives off a lingering scent of the 1990s bubble era. La Provence offers "Modern French" cuisine, which is a contemporary twist on traditional dishes from southern France. The restaurant's atmosphere is also glamorous from the 1990s. We had the Bellet set menu for ¥6,534 (tax excluded). The meal included an amuse-bouche, two appetizers, a main dish (Aso red beef loin for an additional ¥3,500), a seasonal dessert from the dessert cart, and coffee or tea. The visually appealing classic French cuisine offered both warm and cold appetizers. Although we were looking forward to the dessert cart, the selection was a bit limited. It seemed like the trend of courses including a mini afternoon tea set was popular, as the cakes were not yet sliced. When we asked for all the dessert options, the staff seemed slightly surprised. (I wonder if not everyone orders all the options?)

I discovered a Champagne free-flow at a restaurant called Ikkyu Restaurant. It's a hotel, so I thought it wouldn't be too bad and decided to give it a try. It was my first time at InterContinental Hotel Tokyo Bay, but it was far from Hamamatsucho Station! The nearest station is Takeshiba Station. It was inconvenient for me because it's not a line I usually use, so I had to take a detour. The restaurant is located on the first floor. It has a very old-fashioned and dimly lit atmosphere, giving off a strong sense of tradition. The Champagne they served was like "Oh!" It was decent for the price, similar to what is offered at a certain Champagne bar during happy hour. The course menu is priced accordingly, but I regret not checking the brand before making a reservation. Even the Thai restaurant at Ebisu Garden Place serves Champagne free-flow with only listed options, so there's a gap in the quality of Champagne they provide. The dishes were just as I imagined from looking at the photos, and the amuse-bouche was delicious. But since Champagne was free-flowing, I guess it was worth it.

It was a very good French restaurant. Being located in the Intercontinental Hotel, the service was reliable and I felt comfortable dining there. The food was delicious and enjoyable for everyone. It seems like a versatile place. Thank you for the meal! ❤️

I suddenly had a strong craving for French cuisine, but couldn't find a kind chef who could make delicious French dishes since New Year's. Still, I couldn't resist the temptation of eye-catching hors d'oeuvres, lamb or venison wrapped in elaborate sauces, desserts that make you want to drink, cute pastries and chocolates displayed on a wagon, and conversations with the waiters. I was longing for it all, so I managed to make a reservation at a restaurant inside a hotel. The table was elegantly set with a tablecloth from lunch. The restaurant's decor and furnishings seemed to have aged quite a bit. I remembered dining here with an old girlfriend a long time ago... I wonder how she's doing now. I'm such a nostalgic guy. Well, probably not a restaurant with a chef Japan can be proud of, and I wouldn't have chosen it under normal circumstances, but on that day, I was very satisfied. The French cuisine after a long time was delicious. The wine I had by the glass was like a final weapon in terms of price, so my lunch ended up being a bit extravagant for the New Year.

I felt like having afternoon tea, so I came here. The dessert course was turned into an afternoon tea set. The appetizers were visually appealing and all delicious. It was nice that they were bite-sized. The warm appetizer was salmon, and the main dish was cod meunière. The meunière was a bit flaky and the taste was mediocre. The desserts were cute and delicious. However, I ended up feeling extremely full.

I received a plan at InterContinental Tokyo Bay La Provence "Belle" course that includes a Haunted Afternoon Tea Stand. The course started with 3 appetizers, which were quite filling. The afternoon tea stand had fewer sweets compared to the lounge, but the atmosphere was excellent. Of course, the taste was amazing! This is recommended for those who find regular afternoon tea lacking and for a romantic date. I booked through Ikyu for 6,500 yen, and there was a coupon for 1,000 yen off for two people, making it a great deal. Sometimes the hotel's website may offer lower prices, so it's worth checking both the hotel's site and Ikyu. The menu included: Palette Art Hors d'oeuvre - Five flavors from the south of France, Marinated seafood and fresh vegetable ensemble, Seasonal fish and vegetable nage, Main dish - choose from today's fresh fish or meat dish, and a limited edition Haunted Mont Blanc Afternoon Tea Dessert. The dessert included items like eyeball chocolate macaron, strange monster Mont Blanc with French chestnuts, bat chocolate Mont Blanc, and a quirky third shoe Mont Blanc, along with various petit fours. You can also choose from coffee, tea, or herbal tea. #AfternoonTea #AfternoonTeaTour #ConnectWithPeopleWhoLoveAfternoonTea #Lunch #HotelTour #HotelLunch #French #InterContinentalTokyoBay #LaProvence #HalloweenAfternoonTea #HalloweenSweets #TeaTime #TokyoLunch #TokyoGourmet

Weekday lunch with afternoon tea and champagne for 5500 yen. The lunch course includes appetizer, starter, bread, main course, and dessert (afternoon tea). The appetizer offers a palette of 5 flavors: sour, umami, bitter, sweet, and salty, each carefully crafted and delicious. The starter consists of Thai carpaccio with rice, tomato sorbet, and sauce, which is mixed and enjoyed together. The bread, two types available, is warm and delightful. For the main course, we ordered fish and meat to share. The fish was perfectly seared with crispy skin and a delicious sauce. The highlight was the meat dish - chicken breast wrapped in foie gras, unbelievably tender and flavorful. The sauce was rich with the sweetness of vegetables. Despite being quite full, the afternoon tea was generous, with a pistachio and strawberry theme. While all the sweets were tasty, they felt a bit too sweet after the savory dishes. The tea selection includes about 10 varieties, and we tried the seasonal chocolate and strawberry flavors, both delicious. Overall, a very satisfying afternoon tea lunch experience!

Great value for money! The dishes were both delicious and artistic in presentation. The plates were beautiful and the pink sparkling champagne was tasty! The explanations of the dishes were also appreciated. However, the glamorous atmosphere and the overly quiet ambiance made it a bit tense. The variety of desserts was nice, but the quality seemed to suffer because of it. Despite that, I would like to go back again. If the atmosphere and desserts were better, it would be a five-star experience.

Intercontinental's "La Provence", a farewell party with French cuisine. We reserved a private room and enjoyed a full course meal with all-you-can-drink drinks. Everything was elegant and the service was excellent. Amuse-bouche... it was like a dessert! Appetizer... it was lobster. Grilled salmon... the refreshing berry sauce matched well! Homemade bread... small. Beef fillet... it looks like it's served with potatoes but it's actually apples. Is it influenced by McDonald's? (laughs) Dessert... cheesecake. The stick-like thing is white chocolate. Presentation is everything when it comes to food! Congratulations to NS who has worked for about 20 years. Well done!

Modern French cuisine that arranges traditional dishes from southern France. We had a pre-birthday celebration dinner. The courses included Marseille Amuse Palette Art Hors d'oeuvres - featuring five flavors from the Provence region of southern France loved by artists. Appetizers with seasonal ingredients, a variety of mushrooms with Fricassee de Roux, seasonal squid beignets in Bouillabaisse, Kagoshima Kiriishima pork grill for the main course, small pre-desserts, seasonal grand desserts, and a variety of non-alcoholic cocktails. The amuse bouche was visually stunning and delicious, offering a variety of flavors in one bite. The pork main course was tender and juicy. Each dish was elegant, beautifully presented, and delicious. There was a wide selection of non-alcoholic cocktails. Thank you for the wonderful meal. Grateful for everything.

On Saturday, August 2021, at 11:30, I made a reservation through Ikyu and visited a restaurant that caught my eye! The course offered by Ikyu Restaurant: 【Nourishing Lunch x Pierre Herme Afternoon Tea】+ Sparkling Wine Toast (until the end of August) 8,947 yen → 6,300 yen - Sparkling Wine Toast - Appetizer 1 - Appetizer 2 - Main Course - Afternoon Tea - Beverage Located inside Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay, there are other restaurants offering "Pierre Herme Collaboration Menus" (with slightly different contents at each restaurant). The New York Lounge on the way to our restaurant was beautifully decorated, so I ended up taking a lot of photos (⁎˃ ꇴ ˂⁎)♡ Once again, I was the first to arrive at the restaurant, and I was mesmerized by the fantastic castle-like interior (with the service being consistently excellent!). Due to the pandemic restrictions on alcohol service, there was a wide selection of non-alcoholic drinks on the menu! Here are some of the drink options: *************************** [Original Mocktail Fair] - Turquoise Dragon Squash 1,650 yen - Virgin Black Mojito 1,430 yen - Sangria 1,650 yen - Peach Tomato 1,430 yen - Pure Floral Sweet 1,430 yen - Rochefort's Lover 1,540 yen - Honey Lemon Sparkle 1,540 yen - Creamy Mango Coco 1,540 yen - Sweet Peach Tea 1,430 yen - Pineapple Lemonade 1,540 yen - Passion Amour 1,650 yen - Berry Berry Chocolatte 1,430 yen - Lualapele 1,650 yen - Citrus Yuzu Shower 1,430 yen - Passion Orange Smoothie 1,430 yen - Beauty Blue Break 1,430 yen - Pine Squash 1,430 yen - Matcha Mood 1,650 yen - Honey Ginger Apple 1,430 yen [Soft Drinks] - Coca-Cola 990 yen - Ginger Ale 990 yen - Oolong Tea 990 yen - Orange Juice 1,210 yen - Blood Orange Juice 1,210 yen - Grapefruit Juice 1,210 yen - Alain Milliat Grape Juice (White Grape) 1,320 yen - Sparkling Grape Juice 1,320 yen - Non-Alcoholic Sangria 1,430 yen - Suntory All-Free 1,100 yen [Royal Blue Tea] - Queen of Blue Grand Glass 1,980 yen, Bottle 11,000 yen [Special Cider Selection] - Olive Cider 1,320 yen Enjoy the harmony of Shodoshima's olives and green apples.

Head to this place for lunch. Located on the 1st floor of the Intercontinental hotel, adjacent to the beautiful view of Tokyo Bay at Takeshiba Pier Park. The entrance may seem simple, but the interior is luxurious and fitting for such a grand hotel. Ordered the lunch course which included: 1st dish - Palette art hors d'oeuvre, 2nd dish - Fresh fish appetizer, 3rd dish - Main course, 4th dish - Dessert, and tea. The most impressive part was the Palette art hors d'oeuvre. It consisted of 5 different flavors - salty, sour, bitter, umami, and sweet - each beautifully presented and enjoyable to look at. The portions were bite-sized and easy to eat, with each flavor having a nice balance. The post-meal tea was also excellent. While I usually prefer coffee, the wide variety of tea options allowed me to choose one that suited my taste. I can't remember which one I selected, but the aroma of the tea leaves was delightful and very relaxing. The staff were attentive, polite, and somewhat friendly. The ambiance, food, and staff made it a wonderful dining experience!

I forgot to post about the restaurant we went to for our regular girls' night out last year. They served a nourishing summer menu. The restaurant, located inside a hotel, had high ceilings and a luxurious atmosphere. The appetizers were bite-sized and beautifully presented, and all of them were delicious! The main dish was eel pie, presented in a stylish way. Another main dish was dessert, including canelés and macarons that were also delicious. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and made us feel welcome.

Invited by a friend, I had lunch at this hotel. Having lunch at a hotel feels so luxurious! Of course, my excitement level went up ⤴︎ We toasted with champagne, and the appetizer plate was like a piece of art. And everything was so delicious! The main course of lobster and pasta was also very satisfying, I can't even describe it (╹◡╹) The alcohol photos are all blurry for some reason haha. The dessert platter was also cute and looked like jewels! Dining at a hotel is so elegant and feels like a well-deserved treat. The service was pleasant, and I felt that sometimes we need this kind of time too. It was incredibly delicious! Thank you for the meal (*^^*)

Sunday, March 2021. 11:30. My husband and I made a reservation and visited a great deal course at a restaurant called "Ikkyu". The course included a special discount of 35% off, priced at 5,800 yen, which normally costs 8,982 yen. We arrived 15 minutes before the opening time in bad weather, but the hotel staff kindly allowed us to wait in the lounge until our table was ready. The restaurant, located on the first floor of Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay, had a luxurious and elegant interior that made us feel like we were in a castle. The waiters and waitresses were all very professional and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. [Food Experience] The table setting was lovely, and we started with a glass of Rosé Sparkling Wine, included in the course. The first appetizer was a Palette Art Hors d'oeuvre, which consisted of five different flavors inspired by the Provence region in France. Each dish was like a piece of art and tasted delicious. The second appetizer was a Seasonal Fish and Vegetable Marinade, beautifully presented on a large plate. Before the main course, we were served two types of bread - a regular wheat bread and a walnut-infused bread. Both were warm and delicious, with a slightly sweet and salty flavor. The main course finally arrived, which was a Creamy Braised Veal dish.

The course with afternoon tea at Kashikosu was around 5500 yen, and adding one drink made it about 6500 yen per person. I treated my junior colleague to a meal to celebrate their hard work over the past year. We chose this luxurious venue for our girls' day out. The Kashikosu course had a satisfying portion size. The first palette was recommended to be eaten in one bite to avoid the cream from spilling on the tablecloth (unfortunately, I learned this the hard way). The visually appealing appetizer featured cherry snapper on vinegared rice, giving off a Japanese vibe. For the main course, I chose the Spanish mackerel, which was perfectly cooked - crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The matcha sweets from the afternoon tea exceeded my expectations and were delicious. We had a pot of tea each, and even though there was no offer for refills, one cup was enough as we were full. I visited on White Day, and there was only one couple among the other female customers. The atmosphere was great, and social distancing was maintained, making it an ideal spot for a girls' lunch during this time.

Visited La Provence on the 1st floor of Intercontinental Tokyu Bay for the first time. On this day, I had the Palette d'Art hors d'oeuvres (an amuse focusing on five tastes: sweetness, bitterness, sourness, umami, and saltiness), followed by dishes such as salmon, red snapper, carrot and ginger sorbet, shallot sauce, tomato and basil jelly, couscous, and broccoli. The quality of the fish and meat dishes exceeded the price. The all-you-can-drink Cremant de Loire Rose was also good. The luxurious interior reminiscent of the Palace of Versailles was lovely. It was relatively quiet, and the staff were consistently kind. I will visit again if I have the chance. Thank you for the meal! 🍴

The lunch had a generous portion and included items like Lancia afternoon tea, Tan Can cider, olive cider, premium coffees, French press coffee, and Persian nectar. The afternoon tea was not the main focus, with elaborate appetizers that came with a description sheet for each item. The taste was good, but I was slightly disappointed as I had high expectations for the afternoon tea. There was no explanation of the menu, so I had to ask questions. Most of the items were chocolate-based. While it is possible to use it for lunch, I don't think I will visit again specifically for afternoon tea. Some of the staff did not seem like hotel staff in terms of service.
