The delicious and pleasant atmosphere of the spacious and calming yet elegantly luxurious interior makes you feel like you're dining at a good Japanese restaurant. Even if you get stood up and end up dining alone at the counter, the sense of happiness outweighs the loneliness, making it an interesting experience. Enjoying unique Japanese sake, indulging in high-quality dishes, and finishing off with sushi - it's great. I feel like I've become an adult.

A few days before the visit, I made a reservation over the phone. Apart from the usual items, there was a confirmation asking, "There is both yakiniku and sushi, is sushi okay with you?" Personally, this was my third visit and I have only had sushi before, so I chose sushi again this time. The restaurant is located on the upper floor of a building near the top of Dogenzaka. When I informed the reception that I had made a reservation for sushi, I passed through the yakiniku dining area and was guided to the sushi space. There were no private rooms, just a spacious area with counter and table seats. Since there were only two of us, we were seated at the sushi counter. There were 3-4 chefs behind the long counter, and a young chef stood in front of us, chatting with us in a friendly manner. He helped us with our orders and recommended sake to pair with the sushi. Despite being shy around strangers, I was able to enjoy the experience. I even felt like my sushi knowledge had improved. Here are the items we ordered to the best of my memory. I also had other items but cannot recall them. - Sardine - Green onion and fatty tuna - Salmon - Uni (sea urchin) trio - Lean tuna - Medium fatty tuna - Seared fatty tuna - Seared Japanese black beef - Draft beer - 3 cups of sake Thank you for the delicious meal.

I used the counter. The view and the design of the restaurant were nice. The ceiling was a bit concerning. The counter was spacious enough for about 20 people to sit. There was already one person seated when I arrived, but for some reason I was about to be seated next to them, which was confusing. I asked to be seated a bit further away. There were no other customers during my visit. The sushi was a bit light on the rice but well-balanced. The Yamazaki highball was quite strong for the first drink, and a bit weaker for the second. The waiter's suit sleeve accidentally touched the sushi when exchanging drinks, and they didn't seem to notice. The miso soup served was quite lukewarm, and when I mentioned it, they exchanged it for a very hot one, which resulted in a slight burn. It seems like when one thing goes wrong, everything does. I had a feeling when I was being seated that it might not be a smooth experience. Time flies. It's been a while since I used Global Dining, but I felt like things that wouldn't have bothered me when I was younger now do. The table seats offer a view of the night scenery, so it might be nice for those who want to enjoy sushi while looking at the night view.

Located on the 14th floor of a building around the top of Shibuya's Dogenzaka, this restaurant offers a beautiful night view. If you want to enjoy the night view, I recommend sitting at a table, but if you want to see the chef's performance, sit at the counter. While they have a wide selection of wines, most are only available by the bottle, so you might want to try the sake instead. I enjoyed starting with a highball and then moving on to sake on this particular day. They offer a variety of classic and seasonal dishes. On this day, I was able to compare and enjoy three types of sea urchin (see photo). Sometimes the drinks can be a bit slow to arrive, but if you mention it to the chef, they will speed things up for you. This open and airy sushi restaurant is highly recommended for a Shibuya date!

The restaurant is a bit far from the station, but it was calm and the food was delicious. The sashimi was thick and all the ingredients were tasty. The staff were attentive and the elevator had a clear view of the scenery.

The neighboring izakaya is perfect for lively drinking, while this sushi restaurant is calm and ideal for a date! We ordered a course meal, compared uni, and added extra sushi! The food and drinks were delicious, the view was great, and they are open late so we would like to visit again!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had lunch. I ordered the daily special oil-splashed chicken lunch. I was surprised to hear R&B music playing, but it created a nice atmosphere. The staff were all friendly and lovely. Despite thinking it was a sushi restaurant, the oil-splashed chicken was delicious!

I made a reservation for Friday at 7:00 PM. Shibuya Station was crowded with many people, and it seemed like inbound tourism was picking up again! We ordered a course meal and chose our own drinks. I ordered the wasabi craft beer shown in the photo, as I love craft beer. Although I couldn't really taste the wasabi, it had a solid taste. The dishes were beautifully presented, and I think foreigners would appreciate that. As for the sushi, it was delicious but didn't quite meet my expectations. The fish didn't taste very fresh, and to be honest, I was a bit disappointed. The rice was packed and filling. The service from the staff was a bit awkward, and it took a while to get our drinks. Overall, it was a tasty meal, but for the price, I feel like there are better and more affordable options out there. This turned out to be a critical review, but in the end, I enjoyed the meal. Thank you.

A restaurant used for dining. Located on the 14th floor of a building at the top of Dōgenzaka. When I told the noisy Gonpachi entrance that I had a reservation for sushi, I was directed to a different entrance. It was a sushi restaurant with a slightly dim atmosphere and a counter, suitable for business meals or dates. The sushi that came out was delicious and satisfying for the price. It was full, but both drinks and dishes were served slowly. However, the atmosphere was good, and I was able to forget the hustle and bustle of Shibuya and have a leisurely conversation. I would like to use it again when dining with the keywords Shibuya and sushi.

The Ganyachi Group is located in a building quite high up on Dozaka. When you get off the elevator and inform the entrance of Izakaya Ganyachi about your sushi reservation, they will guide you to the back. The view from the glass window is also wonderful. You can order some snacks, quench your thirst, and eat quite a bit for this price. The snacks and sushi are carefully prepared and have a good impression. If you want to eat decent sushi in Shibuya with a relaxed feeling, this place is recommended. There are also many table seats, and the interior of the restaurant is surprisingly spacious, so it would be even better if there were more staff.

There were quite a lot of people using it on Monday night, so it's better to make a reservation. Today, I used it for a business dinner, so I had reserved a private room. The course had not many dishes, so I ended up getting hungry later haha. I prefer ordering a la carte at this restaurant rather than the course.

Second visit. I always feel at ease in this calm atmosphere. It was almost fully booked on a Friday. The sashimi platter was delicious, and the grilled skewers cooked on the neighboring robata grill were also tasty this time. As expected, I ended up drinking too much.

Global Dining, which operates multiple restaurant brands such as Zest Cantina, Cafe La Poem, and Monsoon Cafe. Recently, they made headlines by suing the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, claiming that the shortened business hours request was illegal. I visited their izakaya, sushi, and Japanese cuisine concept restaurant called "Gonpachi." Unfortunately, I couldn't take photos of the private dining area due to the high-profile guests. Instead, here is a tapestry of sushi on the way to the restroom. I enjoyed delicious Japanese cuisine, sushi, and wine. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

Next week, Tokyo will once again be under a state of emergency. During the last weekend before that, we visited a restaurant that offers both yakitori and sushi. This time, we went to the sushi section, which faces Dogenzaka and has a bright and scenic corner. The menu was mainly focused on wine with a variety of Japanese-style appetizers. We started with a local Izu Parier beer, which was perfect for the humid weather. We enjoyed dishes like edamame, white squid sashimi, and snow crab croquettes, along with two bottles of wine. We finished with sea urchin and rolled bonito. The restaurant had a wide selection of wines ranging from around 4,000 yen to over 10,000 yen. It truly felt like a global dining experience. We arrived when the restaurant opened and left by 8:30 pm. As we left, we saw many young people waiting in line to enter. The streets were crowded with people, and it made us realize that the infection was not going to be contained anytime soon.

Tonight, I probably visited Shibuya's "Gonpachi SUSHI" for the first time in 17 years. I have been wanting to support restaurants that do not comply with the Harakiri request, so I decided to make a special effort to "eat and support" them. Finally, on this idle Golden Week with no plans, I was able to come. The reason I visited this time was that I found out a few days ago that this restaurant also serves vegetable sushi. Vegetable sushi, which is related to Halal, has been developed by the sushi restaurant "Sansui" in Omiya Nisshin for a few years, and it was planned to be a highlight food for the Tokyo Olympics. I also visited "Sansui" last year, partly for work, but it was interesting to compare the taste. I ordered vegetable nigiri sushi, American sushi vegetable rolls, as well as unusual items like foie gras sushi and caviar sushi. I also ordered octopus and squid to avoid "corona". The sushi was eaten with salt in a Kyoto-style rather than soy sauce. In less than 30 minutes after entering, the restaurant was full with what seemed like a couple. I left through the hidden door exit and felt full after eating the rich homemade tofu as dessert. I plan to come again and try the regular menu next time.

Even under a state of emergency, the restaurant was open for business. There was a strange menu of dishes to enjoy while drinking alcohol, but it seems that the shrimp tempura is not their specialty. I have no idea what to eat when I come here. Thank you for being open, even though I'm not sure what to order.

I entered the restaurant feeling a bit nervous about whether people were coming back. There were about three groups at the counter and almost all the tables by the window with a beautiful night view were full! It made me happy. The staff at the restaurant were taking infection prevention measures, so I felt comfortable.

I think this restaurant is perfect for adult dates and special occasions. I will add details of the dishes I ate in the comments on the photos. The floor staff must have seen me giving a gift to the person I was with for their birthday, as when I went to the restroom, they asked, "Is your companion celebrating their birthday? Can we offer a dessert plate with their name on it?" What wonderful service! Thank you so much for your hospitality. We had a la carte for two, four beers, a full bottle of wine, two servings of sake, and were full for ¥36,000. The night view was beautiful, and the service was excellent, so I am satisfied.

I wanted to eat sushi for dinner, so I visited this restaurant. The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice with dim lighting. The place was crowded, but my additional drink took a while to arrive... The sushi rice was small, which wasn't to my liking. Considering the average price, I felt that this restaurant is not one I would choose as a sushi place.

On Sunday at 1 pm, I had lunch after some errands in Shibuya. It was on the 14th floor of a large building near the Dōgenzakaue Police Box intersection. When I got off the elevator and walked forward, a staff member at the information counter asked me, "Sushi or charcoal grill?" I was a bit confused by the question, as it was the first time I had been asked something like that. The staff member then clarified that sushi and charcoal grill were from different restaurants on the same floor. I chose sushi, and was led through the charcoal grill restaurant to a bright and spacious sushi restaurant with large windows. The menu offered lunch sets ranging from ¥2,000 to ¥4,000, so I opted for the ¥3,000 lunch course. The course included three appetizers, fried dish, grilled dish, chawanmushi, 6 pieces of sushi, miso soup, and dessert. Each dish was served without explanation, which I found amusing. The crab croquette was particularly delicious. However, the sushi itself was just average. The service was a bit lacking, with staff members not providing much information about the dishes. Overall, the restaurant had a high-end atmosphere but the service was a bit lacking. It might be suitable for business entertainment, but for a private meal, it fell short.

I heard that you can eat vegetable sushi, so I came to try it. However, when I called to make a reservation and requested vegetable sushi, it seemed like the sushi chef didn't get the message, so I was a bit worried (but they eventually prepared it for me on the spot). I chose to sit at the counter seat where I could see the sushi chef making each vegetable sushi by hand. The "Vegetable Nigiri" consisted of okra, myoga, kaiware, negi sprouts, avocado, and shiitake mushrooms. I also ordered a Vegetable Roll (Avocado Roll). It was my first time trying vegetable sushi, but everything was delicious. The atmosphere was spacious, and from the table seats, you could overlook the streets of Shibuya.

Let's go eat sushi that doesn't go around. We used the 2000 yen lunch course, which included two small dishes, pumpkin pudding, firefly squid sushi, seaweed miso soup, and dessert (strawberry ice cream). Overall, it was just okay. The view from the 14th floor was nice, but not really impressive. The seaweed miso soup was tasty, but the sushi was just average. Honestly, you can eat the same quality for a lower price. Maybe the night view would be better, but it was just okay during the day. Thank you for the meal!
