Gonpachi at the intersection of Nishi-Azabu. The drink menu is extensive and I always use it when I can't decide where to go. The atmosphere is nice, with staff from various nationalities making it lively. There is a wide variety of dishes so you won't get bored. The cost performance is average. While you can enjoy the food, I feel that the element of enjoying the atmosphere of the restaurant is a bit stronger. It's recommended for when you want to have a stylish drink with friends. When using it for a date, it can be crowded at times, so it's better to make a reservation in advance.

I had the affordable lunch menu with a great value for money, and I chose the tempura rice bowl. The tempura was crispy and delicious with a rich sauce, although the portion was a bit small. The atmosphere of the restaurant was lively and the staff were friendly, which made me very satisfied. I would like to try other lunch menu items as well.

The restaurant was very spacious with a large number of seats, and it was bustling with customers from various countries. Both the staff and customers were mostly foreigners, but all the staff could speak Japanese. The place had loud Western music playing, but the energetic staff greeted customers with even louder voices, which was surprising. The food was served promptly after ordering, and all the dishes were delicious. The empty plates were quickly cleared away, although the staff did so without saying much, which may come off as unfriendly. Personally, I appreciated the quick service. The only inconvenience was that the restroom was only located on the top floor. The affiliated parking lot had no extra charge, which I found very reasonable. However, it could fill up quickly as it only had space for four cars. I would like to visit again if I have the chance.

The staff at the restaurant are diverse and many customers are foreigners. When my foreign friends entered, they were delighted. The menu consists of a course meal with Japanese cuisine, so bringing foreign guests to Gonpachi is a great choice. I almost forgot to take pictures, but we had sashimi, tempura, yakitori, wagyu beef, and soba. The taste was decent, but the wagyu beef was a big hit with my friends. It's definitely worth a visit. Thank you for the meal.

I visited the restaurant around 9:30 PM on a regular day. The interior was decorated with symbols of Japan, but the background music was Western music, creating a lively atmosphere with many tourists. I enjoyed a mixed tempura platter, rolled omelette, and yakitori paired with Japanese sake.

As expected, the restaurant is filled with a foreign atmosphere with mainly foreign customers. The staff are also from various countries. They provide cheerful and pleasant service with loud voices! The food is all delicious! Especially the grilled skewers are very good! If you go, I recommend sitting at the counter and watching the staff cook the dashimaki and skewers while drinking. If you're lucky, you can also see a taiko drum show, which is quite good. Definitely going back again!

I was interested in a popular restaurant, so a friend made a reservation for us on Saturday. It felt more like an American bar than a Japanese izakaya. The food was quite delicious, and we had a great time chatting. By the time we left, there was a long line of foreigners waiting outside.

Kokugan Hachibei, famous for its appearance in the movie "Kill Bill", is a popular restaurant with more than half of its customers being foreigners. The atmosphere of the restaurant is unique and gives off a strong Japanese vibe. The interior design is well thought out, making it a great entertainment space that even Japanese people can appreciate. The staff is friendly, although many of them are foreigners. The music is loud and club-like, adding to the overall atmosphere. We made a reservation for three people on a weekend, and the food was delicious with a good variety of options. The prices are reasonable for the area. Overall, it is a fun and interesting restaurant that is sure to impress whoever you bring along.

One night around 1 am, after finishing work around Azabu area, I was wandering around Azabu intersection with my colleagues when someone pointed out "Oh, there's Gonpachi". I had a vague impression of the place, so we decided to go there. The outside had a smoking area, which felt nice in the summer. There were two floors, with no one at the register on the first floor, so we went up to the second floor where Gonpachi's sushi restaurant was. We went back down to the first floor and finally entered the restaurant. The atmosphere inside was dimly lit, creating a nice ambiance. We ordered: - Assorted sashimi - Grilled beef tongue with green onion salt - Chicken skin - Gizzard - Chicken breast - Soba noodles with tempura - Stone-grilled eel rice The grilled chicken was consistently good, the gizzard had a nice crunch, and the chicken skin was not greasy at all. The stone-grilled eel rice was delicious, especially when mixed well to create crispy rice. The highlight was when we ordered the sashimi platter and it arrived in just 10 seconds. Despite our initial concerns, the freshness was not an issue and it was delicious. It might have been pre-made or a mix-up, but it could have been a fun presentation. I would definitely go back!

I went there for lunch on a holiday. About 90% of the customers are foreign tourists. The staff greeted and saw off customers with loud voices and the lively background music. I had the tempura soba, which was served with separate dipping sauces for the noodles and tempura, along with grated daikon radish and ginger. Considering the content and the price of 1580 yen in a tourist area, it may be more affordable and better than eating at a place like Hills. The broth was on the sweeter side, the soba noodles were not sticky and had a decent firmness and aroma. They are open all day until early morning, which makes me want to support them. Payment is done at the table.

I made a reservation for Saturday evening and arrived at a somewhat awkward time. Without a reservation, you have to wait. The grilled beef tendon with ponzu sauce, Gyuniku Sumibiyaki, Namul, Tempura, and Soba were just okay. The soba is handcrafted but not particularly delicious. This place is more about enjoying the atmosphere than the food itself. It's a place where sake connoisseurs gather, providing a sort of entertainment. The staff, all foreigners, speak Japanese fluently. Despite ordering one item, it never arrived, even after mentioning it twice, so I ended up canceling. It's advisable to double-check the receipt when paying the bill.

The atmosphere was like being overseas! About 70% of the customers inside the restaurant were foreigners. The lively music playing made it feel like we were at a Japanese izakaya overseas! Some people may have their preferences, but personally, I loved the atmosphere and it made me want to travel abroad! The food was all freshly made and really delicious! The best dish was the stone-grilled Nozawana mentaiko rice! The aroma of butter was amazing... The staff's service was also wonderful, with pleasant greetings leaving a good impression! Foreign customers even took our picture, and everyone was so nice!笑

I made a reservation and visited in the midst of Golden Week. The place was packed with foreign tourists. I was surprised to find an izakaya with such a high percentage of foreign customers! The staff is also mostly foreign, so you can feel at ease even if you don't speak Japanese at all. The menu is typical for an izakaya, with not too many choices, but it makes it easy to decide. The food is delicious. The birthday performance is very fun with an international vibe. This restaurant is an excellent blend of overseas and Japanese atmospheres.

Anyway, everything is loud. The background music, too. The loudest is the staff's voices. It's great to use their voices for customer service and creating an atmosphere, but the voices are so loud that they interrupt conversations. Even when taking orders, they speak loudly. There's a difference between energetic voices and loud voices. How many times was our conversation interrupted by the staff's voices during the hour and a half lunch? The atmosphere and food are delicious, but that one aspect is disappointing.

I went to Sushi Gonpachi on the upper floor. It was nice to be able to enjoy delicious sushi without feeling too formal. The sake selection was also to my liking. The atmosphere is usually lively and crowded, but the upper floor of Sushi Gonpachi was quiet and allowed for a leisurely meal. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The atmosphere is very nice. The clientele is mostly foreigners and young people, so it's lively. I heard that some celebrities also frequent this place, so I decided to check it out. It's quite affordable for Nishi-Azabu and I highly recommend it. The food was delicious, so I left very satisfied.

This restaurant, Gonpachi, is internationally famous and attracts many foreign visitors due to events such as the meeting between former President Bush and former Prime Minister Koizumi in 2002, being a filming location for Quentin Tarantino's movie "Kill Bill," and being used as a set for the drama "Roppongi Class." The ordered lunch course included three appetizers (squid salted roe, potato salad, duck roast), today's carpaccio (salmon), three types of tempura (shrimp, eggplant, pumpkin), grilled blackthroat seaperch with Kyoto-style miso, charcoal-grilled trio (chicken thigh skewer, black wagyu beef skewer, grilled tomato skewer), hand-cut soba noodles, and a citrus sherbet for dessert. Unfortunately, a photo of the tempura was forgotten. The restaurant offers a creative Japanese cuisine in an oriental setting that foreign visitors would surely enjoy, explaining its popularity. Thank you for the meal.

I have been to the Gonya restaurant near my house many times for izakaya, but this time I had lunch at the Nishi-Azabu branch for the first time! The restaurant is spacious and has a nostalgic atmosphere. There were many foreign customers as well. The 1000 yen lunch in Nishi-Azabu is cost-effective.

This restaurant is geared towards tourists! The food is quite average. If you are more interested in the atmosphere of the restaurant rather than the quality of the food, then this place is good for you! It's a good option to visit while sightseeing. It seems like a filming location for dramas similar to Roppongi. Also, it appears that foreign dignitaries visit this restaurant as well. ^ - ^

A place in Nishi-Azabu where people go to hang out, but even though you know about it, you don't really go there. It's a shop popular with foreigners. I work for a foreign company, so I had to come here. The interior of the shop has a wooden Japanese-style atmosphere. I chose the 10,000 yen course for one person. The dishes were not bad, but they weren't particularly good either. It's like a paradise for dishes that are around a 60 out of 100. I feel like I don't need to go there again.
