蒙古タンメン中本
I came to Inariya, a ramen restaurant in Ueno (Inari-cho). It is right in front of the previous Chinese soba restaurant, Daikichi Inari-cho branch. There are 3 customers already seated, with 6 counter seats, 2 tables for 4 people, and 1 table for 2 people. There is 1 owner and 2 staff members. The owner has a beard, similar to the previous restaurant, but here his hair is wavy. I bought a ticket for the Wonton Ramen for 1150 yen since I had wontons earlier. It was served at 19:50. The soup has a strong seasoning, hot and with a punch of chicken flavor. The noodles have a strong taste, similar to what is used in dried fish broth. The wontons are better than the previous place, with a thin skin and a generous amount of meat. The chashu is reasonably thick with a good chew. The bamboo shoots are average. The people working here seem nice. They can choose great restaurants according to their mood. One of the staff members must be a new apprentice as I saw the owner instructing him in his own way. It's a rare sight. The ramen here is really good. The strong seasoning, chicken punch, and as you keep eating, the sweetness of soy sauce. It's different from the usual ramen shops. The wontons also complement the ramen perfectly as you eat them together. After eating, I read reviews and found out that the owner used to be a French chef. It all makes sense now. Adding depth to a bowl of ramen is wonderful. Looking at it that way, the carefully styled wavy hair makes sense too. In terms of Power Pro stats, it would be: Meat A, Punch, universally appealing type, Power B, Strong seasoning with unexpected punch, Speed B, can walk around Ueno easily, Shoulder Power C, unsure of the outcome if made by someone other than the owner, Special Ability: Catcher, for skillfully leading customers like a catcher in baseball. The owner's natural and friendly customer service is impressive. The apprentice is still learning the ropes, while the other staff members might have a tsundere attitude. Overall, it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.
