Today I had some errands in Hiroo. When you exit from exit 1 of Hiroo Station on the Hibiya Line, turn right and walk straight along the street, you'll arrive soon. It was Saturday, around 13:30, and the place was almost full. Luckily, there was one seat available at the counter, so I quickly took it. Hooray for dining alone! Just so you know, the last order is at 14:00. The lunch menu offers a la carte options or set courses. The weekend exclusive lunch course for 2,200 yen including tax includes a drink, salad or assorted appetizers, and a choice of pizza or pasta. Some items may require an additional fee, usually around 300 yen. I didn't hesitate and ordered this course. Personally, I was excited to see sparkling wine on the drink menu, so I definitely had to order it! While sipping on the bubbly drink, I enjoyed a selection of leafy greens, quiche, potato salad, prosciutto, pate, and croquette? There was no explanation of the menu items, so I had to figure it out myself. Overall, it was a delightful mix. The croquette was particularly delicious, with a fluffy texture and perfectly seasoned. Just as I finished, the main dish, a pizza, arrived. It may have looked a bit messy, but you could tell it was made with care. It was cut into four slices, so even someone like me with a big appetite could comfortably enjoy it. The pizza had just the right amount of saltiness and a satisfying crunch. It was so delicious! I made sure to eat it while it was still piping hot, as that's the best way to enjoy it. I finished it in less than 30 minutes and took a moment to relax. Like other tables, I was quickly asked for the bill, perhaps because it was close to closing time. They seemed a bit eager to clear the tables. Nonetheless, it was all good. There are power outlets at the tables, but no free Wi-Fi. The restaurant may have their own, but personally, it wasn't an issue for me. Just a note for your reference. Thank you for the meal! ⭐️
