After watching a Kabuki performance, I went to "Kanno Coffee" alone around 3:30 pm on a Sunday, located on the 2nd floor of the building next to GINZA SIX. I had been recommended this place by a friend and had tried to visit before, but the long line on the 2nd floor staircase always made me give up. This time, there were about 4 people in line, but I was lucky to be seated right away without waiting. The interior of the restaurant is spacious, bright, and exudes a high-quality feel, fitting for Ginza. The background music playing was traditional Japanese koto music. A male waiter kindly greeted me with a smile and led me to a seat on the left side. The restaurant offers free wifi, which is a great feature, and I found out that this place is actually part of the Doutor group. I decided to try their special coffee for the Choyo no Sekku festival, a Panama Geisha blend coffee. The waiter recommended the hot version over the iced one, and it was indeed a delicious choice. The menu also featured other signature blends like the Kamisen, Yosen, and Gessen, along with various other drinks, sandwiches, pasta, and cakes. I also ordered the Nasu Goyotei Egg and Wasanbon Pudding, which was smooth, creamy, and rich in flavor. The atmosphere was relaxing, and I could see a young couple next to me enjoying their time chatting and laughing. The restaurant has a 2-hour time limit, but it's a great place to unwind and enjoy quality coffee and desserts. I also purchased some drip coffee blends as souvenirs and some hospitality cookies. Payment was easy with options like PayPay. Overall, "Kanno Coffee" in Ginza offers a bright, beautiful, and high-quality dining experience with delicious coffee and desserts, making it highly recommended!
