I visited KINOE in Ebisu - Kinoe. This place is located next to Goroshita, where I had visited before, so I could easily find it, but for first-time visitors, the location might be a bit confusing. This area has seen new buildings constructed in the past 2-3 years, attracting stylish and delicious restaurants. The interior of KINOE is small but well-organized, with a casual Western-style décor dominated by white. On this day, we were seated in a private room and opted for the chef's recommended course for dinner. The dishes included: - "Seiko Crab Soup": A bouillabaisse with female snow crab soup, featuring flaked crab meat and eggs. It was a refreshing yet rich dish, with the popping texture of crab eggs adding a nice touch. - "Chiba Prefecture Organic Vegetable Salad with Amberjack, Tuna, and Tilefish": A salad with about 15 types of vegetables and slices of each fish served as carpaccio. The harmony of delicious fish and fresh vegetables, along with freshly baked garlic toast, made the dish disappear smoothly. - "Cod Milt Meuniere with Red Wine Vinegar": Cod milt meuniere served with mushrooms and spinach, offering a crispy exterior and a tender inside, complemented by the gentle aroma of vinegar. - "Grilled Amadai with Turnip Sauce": A dish featuring grilled amadai with crispy scales, where the sweet fish meat and crispy scales created a great contrast. - "Roasted Eel and Taro Sauté with Butter and Smoked Fish Sauce": A dish with eel and taro mille-feuille sandwiched together, showcasing the natural flavor of eel. However, there was a slight noticeable smell. - "Homemade Karasumi, Edamame, and Shirasu Pasta": A pasta dish with a strong seasoning, possibly designed to pair well with wine, although it was quite salty. It was delicious despite being borderline salty. - "Roasted Ezo Deer with White Asparagus and Bamboo Shoots": A simple yet delicious combination of roasted Ezo deer with crispy bamboo shoots and white asparagus, served with a warm and comforting bamboo shoot soup. - "Freshly Baked Chocolate Cake and Vanilla Ice Cream": A classic combination of fondant chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream, providing a comforting and flavorful end to the meal. Overall, KINOE maintains a high level of quality in both its cuisine and service while exuding a casual atmosphere. It feels welcoming without being cheap, creating a cozy and inviting dining experience. The chef is said to be the same as the one at the previously visited Ebisu Ricos Kitchen, and while the impression of the cuisine remains similar, the composition and elements of the dishes were exceptionally well-balanced this time.

I had high expectations due to the good reviews, but I was disappointed. The food was decent and the atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, but the dishes were brought out quickly, giving off a feeling of wanting customers to leave soon. I had to eat in a hurry and couldn't enjoy the meal slowly. The price includes not only the food but also the overall service of the restaurant. There are many restaurants with the same level of taste out there, so there is no reason to choose this one.

I visited KINOE for a family anniversary celebration. I ordered the chef's choice course, so I'm not sure about the specific price. First of all, all the dishes were really delicious! Each dish showed great attention to detail and had flavors that were easy to enjoy. The dishes featured a lot of corn, which was sweet and delicious. The young corn with husks (almost like big corn) was particularly impressive. The restaurant is located a short walk up a hill from Ebisu Station. It's a small place with one private room and a few open tables. It seemed like many people were celebrating special occasions like us. The staff were very polite and even escorted us to the elevator at the end. My parents ordered the wine course, but my mother found it to be too much, so I think it's better to go for a stronger drink if you're ordering alcohol. We had a very enjoyable and delicious time at KINOE! I would love to visit again on another special day with special people. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

"KINOE" is a hidden gem Japanese restaurant where you can enjoy traditional Japanese cooking techniques with fresh ingredients. The interior is decorated in a Japanese style, creating a quiet and calming atmosphere. The dishes served here all highlight the seasonal ingredients, making them truly delicious. The "Seasonal Chef's Course" is particularly recommended as it allows you to taste a variety of dishes that reflect the season, showcasing the chef's skills and creativity. The sashimi, made with fresh seafood, is also exceptional, offering both freshness and sweetness in every bite. The staff's hospitality is wonderful, ensuring a relaxing dining experience. This restaurant is perfect for a date, special occasion, or for those looking to enjoy a peaceful meal. "KINOE" is a must-visit for anyone who wants to savor the flavors of the season and experience Japanese tradition. I can't wait for my next visit.

This day, I had lunch in Ebisu. The restaurant is located on the 4th floor of a building to the left of a steep slope along the train tracks, where they always sell cute plates and cups. I had reserved a counter seat for the lunch chef's omakase 6-course meal for 5,280 yen (tax included), paired with wine. The dishes included: Awaji Island new onion soup, today's fresh fish carpaccio with plenty of colorful pesticide-free vegetables, Choshi mackerel, Saga green asparagus with Ibaraki eggs and Hokkaido Niseko prosciutto, grilled Ishikawa white fish roe with seasonal bamboo shoots, garlic chive butter anchovy sauce, firefly squid and homemade karasumi pasta, grilled Ibaraki Hitachi beef rib with komatsuna and rape blossoms, and dessert with warm apple and almond cake with rich caramel ice cream, and strawberry black honey marinated smooth matcha pudding. The post-meal drink was also delicious. The spring ingredients were used diversely and all the dishes were beautifully presented with refined flavors. The side dishes and sauces were exquisite, showing a lot of thought in the recipes. The garlic bread was addictive and I had seconds! The final dessert was also incredibly delicious. I found out that the chef had worked in a very famous hotel for many years, so the deliciousness made sense. The wines paired perfectly and were served generously. They also offer a free-flow course. I am happy to have discovered another restaurant I want to visit again.

[KINOE] Ebisu Located about a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station in a quiet area with few pedestrians, this Italian restaurant offers a Chef's recommended course paired with wines. Each ingredient is handled with care, and the detailed explanations of the dishes left a strong impression. I visited for lunch. Everything was delicious, but the milt and mushroom dish was particularly tasty and creamy. The dessert was a hot cake with ice cream on top, slightly melted and incredibly delicious! The ambiance of the restaurant was lovely, suitable for special lunches or dinners. The staff were friendly, but I had trouble hearing the dish explanations as they mumbled softly.

I visited the Italian restaurant "Kinoe," located about a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station. I had been curious about this place for a while, and since dinner can be a bit pricey, I decided to try their lunch menu. I was able to make a reservation for the weekend and headed there. Despite being in Ebisu, the restaurant is situated in a quiet area up the hill from the west exit along the train tracks. The restaurant is on the 4th floor of a building, and this time I sat at the counter with a view of the kitchen. I ordered the lunch course, which included an assortment of dishes such as organic aged pumpkin soup, bonito carpaccio, mussel and onion potato soup, grilled ayu fish with shishito pepper, mushroom and porcini pasta, grilled duck from Shiga prefecture, and dessert - pear terrine. Personally, I found the grilled duck to be the most delicious, but everything was great. I also had some wine, and they had a nice selection to choose from. I would like to visit again for dinner after some time. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

At KINOE, you can enjoy delicious fish and vegetables for lunch. The corn from Fukui Prefecture is surprisingly sweet without using sugar, and the transparent freshness of the Ise mackerel salad is impressive. The Hokkaido asparagus with soft-boiled egg, Parmigiano sprinkled on top, and pancetta sauce perfectly complement each other. The eel and taro with white wine sauce are rich in flavor yet beautifully balanced. The pasta with karasumi has a fun contrast between the dish and the yellow color, with the scent of dried young sardines evoking a summer feel. The variety of vegetables served with the Hitachi beef includes many rare types, and the dessert selection, including dessert wine, offers nearly double-digit options to choose from. The Jean Baptiste Ponsot Rully barrel-aged Chardonnay was particularly delicious.

KINOE (Seasonal Blessings) - The name of the restaurant reflects the delicious blessings of the season that can be enjoyed here. It is located just up the hill from Ebisu Station, a little past Kameido Horumon. This area of Ebisu is quiet and one of my favorite places. The interior of the restaurant is clean and on this day, there were large flowers decorating the space, creating a nice atmosphere. They have private rooms and a counter, suitable for various occasions. We toasted with sparkling wine and started with the course menu. (We opted for the drink pairing.) - Fukui Prefecture: Freshly picked corn soup - Sweet and crunchy with a great texture. - Chiba Prefecture, Katsuura City: Herb and vegetable salted bonito - A recommended carpaccio dish that is visually appealing and the bonito is very fresh. - Garlic bread - The garlic flavor is fragrant and crispy, delicious when served fresh out of the oven. - Hyogo Prefecture, Akashi Octopus with Kyoto's Manju Togarashi - The octopus is incredibly tender, and the combination with Manju Togarashi is gentle and delicious. - Nagasaki Prefecture: Fresh green asparagus with pancetta sauce - Asparagus, when done right, is truly delicious, and this dish is exactly that. Perfectly cooked with a wonderful color. - Aichi Prefecture: Eel and taro mille-feuille with okahijiki and red snapper head sauce - A menu inspired by the midsummer Day of the Ox, the combination of eel, taro, and okahijiki is delicious, and the sauce is fantastic. It pairs well with wine. - Nagano Prefecture: Spaghetti with Honshu deer ragu sauce - Also known as Honshu deer, this sauce is packed with the umami of red meat and is delicious with just the right amount. - Joso beef lamp meat with banana pepper and Star of David - Dessert (choose one per person): - Miyazaki mango terrine - A delicious terrine with a strong mango flavor. - Cheese platter (Mimolette, Fromage d'Affinois, Epoisses) - A recommended cheese platter from the restaurant. It's perfect with the leftover red wine. Overall, the portion sizes were just right, the presentation was beautiful, and the wine selection was excellent. From the beginning to the end of the course, we thoroughly enjoyed the seasonal vegetables and seafood. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited this restaurant for lunch, it's only a 4-minute walk from the west exit! It's so close to the station♬ This place offers wine pairing, perfect for those who love alcohol! They recommend combinations for you, so you don't need to know much about wine to enjoy. This time, I had the chef's omakase lunch course with 3 wine pairings. They even have non-alcoholic wine! It's nice to be able to drink non-alcoholic wine in a wine glass without feeling left out♡ - Amuse-bouche: Corn soup - Bonito salad - Garlic bread - Hokkaido clams - Pufferfish white liver - Sakura shrimp tomato sauce pasta - Australian lamb and morning-picked vegetable grill - Choice of dessert: Tiramisu, chocolate mousse The course was very filling and satisfying, and they also offer a free-flow sparkling wine for lunch. The ambiance was lovely, with natural light pouring in, and the service was elegant and welcoming. It's a great place for special occasions like anniversaries or birthdays, and they even have private rooms for business meetings. The fresh, pesticide-free vegetables and seafood made every dish delicious and easy to enjoy. I had a luxurious and delightful lunch experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant!

I visited "KINOE," an Italian restaurant specializing in seasonal fish and vegetables, located about a 5-minute walk up the hill along the railway tracks from Ebisu Station West Exit. The soft sunlight streaming in through the windows created a luxurious atmosphere! This time, I decided to try the chef's omakase course with wine pairing. We started with a refreshing and aromatic Provençal sparkling wine, Baron de Brane Brut, for a toast. The amuse-bouche was a chilled corn potage made with Fukui-grown corn, which was perfect for cooling down on a hot day. The hot and addictive garlic bread was also outstanding. Next, we enjoyed a vibrant fish salad. The salad featured Awaji Island red snapper, which was carefully blanched and seared to add a smoky flavor and enjoyable texture to the dish. The natural large Asari clams from Nemuro were steamed with new onions and zucchini in white wine, creating a juicy and flavorful dish that was truly delightful. The soup, full of umami, was perfect for dipping the garlic bread. We then savored a Domaine Trotte-Loup Cuvée Vieille Vigne 2019, made only in exceptional years. This Sauvignon Blanc, with 60-year-old vines, had a noble taste. The sautéed white fugu milt from Ishikawa melted in the mouth, and the mushrooms sautéed in red wine vinegar enhanced the richness of the milt. The warm plates added to the hospitality of the chef. The pasta dish featured rich and flavorful Suruga Bay sakura shrimp. For the main dish, we enjoyed Château Grand-Lacaze 2016, a concentrated Medoc wine that paired perfectly with the Australian lamb. The grilled Akita asparagus and young corn were fresh and delightful. For an additional 300 yen, we shared a warm apple and almond cake with rich caramel ice cream and a rum raisin ice cream sandwich. Both desserts were equally delicious! The option to choose between coffee and herbal tea for dessert was also a nice touch. I look forward to revisiting for the free-flow option next time.

A restaurant located a 5-minute walk from Ebisu Station that expresses seasonal vegetables and blessings in Italian cuisine. The menu we enjoyed this time was the "Chef's 8-course Chef's Choice Course". 1) Fukui Prefecture Corn Cold Soup - Sweet and dessert-like with a refreshing taste. 2) Sea Bream Salad - Crispy julienned daikon, fresh cucumber, turnip, tomato, lettuce, and seared sea bream skin that enhances the flavor of the vegetables. 3) Hokkaido Clam - Surprisingly large clams with a rich, creamy broth and a crunchy texture of zucchini and spring onions. 4) Akita Asparagus - Thick asparagus with a delicate flavor, crispy bacon cooked in wine, and a creamy half-cooked egg yolk. 5) Fukui Prefecture Blowfish Shirako - Whitefish and mushrooms sautéed in wine vinegar, creating an elegant flavor. 6) Suruga Bay Sakura Shrimp and Tomato Sauce Pasta - Pasta with ground sakura shrimp and tomato sauce that perfectly blend, enhancing the flavor of the shrimp. 7) Hitachi Beef Steak and Morning Harvest Vegetables - Juicy Hitachi beef with young corn from Shizuoka, Man'yoji chili peppers from Kyoto, and eggplants from Kumamoto, accompanied by exquisite vegetables. 8) Dessert - Mango Terrine with Yogurt Sorbet - Ripe mango and yogurt ice cream with a refined taste. For drinks, we had sparkling wine as an aperitif and 4 types of Chef's Choice wines. The restaurant offers a luxurious yet casual dining experience with a friendly staff, making it perfect for gatherings like girls' night out, dates, or celebrations.

A small but cozy restaurant with a nice atmosphere. It's a place where adults can enjoy themselves. They have private rooms, so it seems like a good place for entertaining clients. However, I was disappointed that I could only make a reservation for a 15,000 yen lunch course, and I wasn't sure if I could eat that much. Also, when it came time to pay, I was told that we couldn't split the bill individually with credit cards. The service staff seemed a bit unfriendly, which was a shame. The dishes were all beautifully presented and delicious. Each dish was carefully crafted, making for an enjoyable dining experience.

The restaurant is a 5-minute walk from the station, but it's a bit uphill so it can be a bit tiring. It's located on the 4th floor of a mixed-use building. I arrived a few minutes before my reservation time and was told to wait outside until then. When the opening time passed and nothing happened, I quietly opened the door and was allowed to enter. It turned out to be a self-service type of place. I had reserved a private room due to the current situation. The set course for the private room was fixed. The food was delicious and the portions were just right. The dessert options were also very satisfying. The wine selection was good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere of the restaurant is suitable for casual gatherings with friends.

Ebisu Station is about a 7-minute walk away. When you exit from the west exit, go up the slope along the railway tracks and you will find it on your left. It's on the 4th floor of a building with a cute tableware shop on the first floor. I have visited this place several times before, and each time I feel very happy and satisfied with the delicious food. This time, I opted for the "chef's choice course for dinner" which can be enjoyed during lunch time. It includes 6 dishes, a main course, and a dessert of your choice. The dishes here are simple and have a gentle flavor, which I love. Everything was delicious this time as well, but I especially liked the carpaccio and the apple dessert. The drink, champagne with seasonal fruits, was also very tasty. Despite my last-minute request, they kindly prepared a birthday plate for us. Thank you very much. It was a wonderful meal. I will definitely visit again.

Smooth handling despite the same-day reservation! I made a last-minute reservation and requested to be served within 1.5 hours due to my later plans. However, everything was delivered with astonishing speed, even the final tea service within an hour. Everything was delicious. The standout dishes were the amuse-bouche of new onion potage and sautéed trout, and the walnut and apple tart for dessert. The amuse-bouche was a small portion of rich potage that emphasized the sweetness of new onions. It was served with homemade garlic bread, which was soft and warm until the end of the course. The sautéed trout had a slightly smoky flavor with perfect cooking. The accompanying vegetables like bamboo shoots added a nice texture. For dessert, there were multiple options to choose from. I went for the recommended (with an additional charge) apple and walnut tart with caramel ice cream. The small tart had apple compote inside and rich caramel ice cream on top, creating a delicious contrast of hot and cold. The coffee after the meal was plentiful and tasty, with a lack of acidity that I appreciated. The portion size of each dish was a bit small, leaving me slightly unsatisfied, but it prevented me from feeling too full. Overall, I felt that a bit more salt would have made the dishes perfect. The staff was polite and attentive, although there were a few moments of slight carelessness. Since I mentioned being in a hurry during the reservation, I understand. I would like to try the Prix Fixe course next time.

Along the train tracks in Ebisu, head towards Garden Place and go up to the building on the 4th floor. There is an elevator at the back of the building, so be careful! Despite the challenges of the pandemic, I think this is the perfect place to enjoy wine and food. They close at 8:00 PM, so you may need to eat quickly, but the food is delicious and satisfying. The corn soup at the beginning is small in quantity but rich in flavor with a hint of olive oil. The garlic French bread with crispy cheese is amazing. I couldn't tell what kind of fish it was, but it was delicious to have it with colorful vegetables. The scallop was rich and had a good texture. The crab was incredibly tasty, with a lingering fragrance and a meticulous finish. The fish dish was really delicious, with crispy skin and amazing sauce. The Sendai beef was tender with a sauce that wasn't overpowering. The desserts like monaka and cheesecake were also fantastic. I really want to come back here and take my time enjoying the food. So delicious!
