Sometimes I have an intense craving for hamburg steak! I want to eat delicious white rice with hamburg steak. I remembered the Yonezawa beef hamburg steak. Yonezawa Beef 100% Golden Hamburg Set (2,500 yen). First, starting with the appetizer salad. Plenty of vegetables with shabu-shabu of inner thigh meat. The color of the meat is pink and rare, making you wonder. The lean and trimmed meat is soft! There are probably more than 10 types of vegetables. With yuzu-flavored dressing and ponzu jelly. The freshness of the vegetables is noticeable. And here it comes - the hamburg steak! On top is the "makura" part of the foreleg, a part that is simmered until the tendons become tender. The patty is minced Yonezawa beef. It is smooth and very tender. The sauce doesn't overpower the juicy meat. I chose the "Premium Tsuyahime" rice, which is very delicious. The even white grains stand out beautifully. It is moist and fresh. I even had seconds, enjoying the hamburg steak with white rice just as I hoped! Satisfied!! The coffee is also included in the set, so I asked for it iced. The steak lunch was good too, but the hamburg steak here is delicious!

When I visited Yamagata Prefecture, Yonezawa, I always made sure to visit Yonezawa Ushi Kigokisan. I have been to their Tokyo Station branch before, but this was my first time at the Ginza branch. In early December, I met the landlady of Sumire no Onsen after a long time, and she recommended this restaurant to me. Since my wife's birthday was approaching, we decided to celebrate as a family. The restaurant is located on the 12th floor of a building on the famous "Hato Ido Do" street, known for having the highest land prices in Japan for 33 consecutive years. We arrived a little before our 12 o'clock reservation and were greeted at the entrance. We were seated at a table in the back and ordered soft drinks - 100% Yamagata grape juice and La France juice for 800 yen each. We started with a toast and the meal began. We had pre-ordered the Yonezawa beef kaiseki steak course for 10,500 yen, which included various dishes such as amuse-bouche, Yonezawa beef shank meat consomme jelly, Yonezawa beef thigh meat carpaccio, etc. The dishes were all delicious, and we especially enjoyed the main dish of premium Yonezawa beef steak. The meal also included premium rice and dessert. The service was excellent, and we were very satisfied with our lunch. The restaurant is highly recommended for those who love Yonezawa beef.

My husband and I went to Ginza for lunch at the reserved Yonezawa beef restaurant, Kigokusan. I knew Yonezawa beef was delicious, but I never expected to be so satisfied with a lunch. The medium rare lean meat I ordered was sweet, tender, and had high-quality fat that spread in my mouth, making me close my eyes and smile in bliss. Kigokusan's appetizers were also colorful and delicious. They paired well with sparkling wine. From dessert to coffee, the delicious happiness continued.

The place has a welcoming entrance and great hospitality. It is a very calm space where you can enjoy sukiyaki. The appetizers are varied and go well with alcohol. The sake is good, but the red wine is truly delicious. I highly recommend trying it, even just a glass. The meat is excellent, and the Wagyu beef and eggs are especially tasty. I couldn't resist getting a second helping of rice. The creme brulee dessert was also beautiful. The course menu provided good value for the price.

The prices have gone up a bit, but I think this is the best sukiyaki restaurant. The meat is delicious, and the rice (premium Tsuyahime) is also tasty. I have visited on special occasions for the past three years, and I want to visit again next year.

Today, I had a regular girls' gathering in Ginza. We were seated in a private room and were able to chat freely. I decided to try the Yamagata beef steak lunch set. The menu was as shown in the photo. I enjoyed the Yamagata broth in the appetizer. The cold soup made with turnips was also delicious! The highlight was the meat sushi. The meat melted in my mouth. I had the steak cooked rare, and it was tender and lightly flavored, made with delicious Yonezawa beef. The rice was the shiny "Tsubaki Hime" from Yamagata, as the name suggests, it was shiny and tasty! They mentioned that it's even more delicious during the new rice season! For dessert, I had gelato and fruits. Including the service charge and drinks, the total came to about 9,000 yen. It's a bit pricey, but it was delicious!

Appearance The restaurant is located on the 12th floor of the commercial building "i liv" along Ginza's Chuo Street. The nearest station is Ginza Station on the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and Marunouchi Line, about a 5-minute walk away. When you take the elevator up, you will find the entrance to the restaurant. There is a large sign, and the view of Ginza from the 12th floor is refreshing. The interior of the restaurant has a calm and slightly luxurious atmosphere typical of Ginza. There are 28 table seats and 12 private rooms, totaling 40 seats. Lunch Menu I visited during the weekend lunchtime and they had a lunch menu available. The menu items are like courses, including appetizers, desserts, drinks, etc. Since Kigoki specializes in Yonezawa beef, Yonezawa beef is used in all the menu items. The Master Dream draft beer was very refreshing. It was carefully poured, and the fine foam was excellent. Lunch - Yonezawa Beef Steak Course The appetizer was a chilled simmered dish. It had a taste similar to Yamagata's local cuisine, with seasonal ingredients like dried tofu and rapeseed blossoms, and the dashi broth was delicious. There were three small side dishes: soba seeds, beef shabu-shabu with Yamagata tofu, and simmered chicken. Since Yamagata beef was used, the taste was refined and the seasoning was well done. The beef tendon soup had a consomme base made from beef tendon, and the addition of gold leaf gave it a luxurious touch. There was Yonezawa beef sushi, with the roast beef style having a sweet sauce and a moist texture, while the seared one had a gentle sweetness seeping through, and the salt and sudachi citrus seasoning was refreshing. The main dish was the Yonezawa beef steak. It came with a rice set. The rice was made from Yamagata's premium Tsuya Hime rice, and the miso soup had nameko mushrooms and pickles. The rice was refillable. The accompaniments for the meat included grilled eggplant, shishito pepper, and pumpkin, all of which were fresh and had a sweet taste. Condiments for the Yonezawa beef included sauce, horseradish, fresh wasabi, seaweed salt, and sudachi citrus. The sauce was light, and the horseradish and fresh wasabi were delicious. The Yonezawa beef was around 100-120g, which felt a bit lacking. The recommended medium-rare doneness left some redness in the meat, and when chewed, it had a fragrant taste typical of Japanese beef, with juicy fat that was delicious. Someone at the table ordered the Yonezawa beef sukiyaki. Everything except the main dish was the same, so I will introduce it together. They said the marbling and tenderness of the meat were very refined and delicious. For dessert, there were apples and strawberries from Yamagata with ice cream. I visited my friend's special day for the second year in a row. This is a high-end restaurant that I don't usually visit, but I like to go on special occasions once a year. The premium shiny rice was delicious as always. The situation is still tough due to the coronavirus, but I hope to visit again next year.

The sweet sauce with a rich flavor of Yonezawa beef, served with a miso-based sauce (although the miso flavor is subtle), is incredibly delicious. You can freely ask for seconds of rice and eggs - up to 2 bowls of rice and 3 eggs. It's a secret, but try pouring the sweet sauce over the egg and rice. The restaurant has excellent measures in place for preventing the spread of infections, serving each person with their own individual hot pot, so there's no need to fight over whose meat is whose. The rating of 3.09 on Tabelog is underrated in my opinion.

I visited for the first time. The miso sukiyaki was very delicious. You can eat meat from two plates, so you will be full. The location is right in the middle of Ginza, but it seems like there are few customers due to the coronavirus, so I hope they do well. I would like to visit again.

The interior of the restaurant has table seats, semi-private rooms, and private rooms, creating a spacious atmosphere. I ordered the lunch Miyazawa beef steak course for 6,800 yen, which included various dishes such as appetizers, soup, sushi, grilled beef, Miyazawa beef steak, Yamagata brand rice, miso soup, Yamagata pickles, dessert, and coffee. The appetizers like roast beef and beef simmered in soy sauce were delicious, and the potato stew had a rich flavor. The sushi was served half seared with salt and sudachi citrus, and half raw with a sweet soy sauce. The steak was cooked medium rare and served on a hot stone, and it was delicious. I personally preferred to eat it with salt and wasabi. The Yamagata brand rice was particularly tasty, with a shiny appearance and a clean, uniform texture, showcasing its umami and sweetness. While there were no particularly surprising dishes, everything was prepared with care and tasted delicious.

There is a building near the intersection of Ginza 4-chome that is strangely filled with yakiniku restaurants. There is an aging beef restaurant, an Omi beef restaurant, and our restaurant, which specializes in Yonezawa beef. Our restaurant is located on the 12th floor of a building called LIV. One dish that caught my eye was the Yonezawa beef assorted rice bowl priced at 2800 yen. While we also offer sukiyaki, shabu-shabu, and steak using Yonezawa beef, the assorted rice bowl is the most visually appealing and easy to enjoy. The main dish consists of roast beef trimmings and raw meat arranged in a beautiful assortment on top of rice, accompanied by simmered side dishes, pickles, miso soup, and coffee after the meal. The rice bowl is generously filled with meat, with shiny rice and a variety of colorful vegetables such as radish, lettuce, fried lotus root, and snow peas, making it fun to eat. The seasoning seemed a bit light and lacking in distinctive flavor, but it's healthy so it's not a big concern. Overall, it's a convenient meat specialty store. It's also appreciated that you can enter without a reservation, a trend that many restaurants seem to be following lately.

Today's lunch was at "Yonezawa Gyukogidoki," where they offer a limited set of 5 Yonezawa beef 100% golden hamburgers! It was my first time visiting for lunch, and I made the trip from Ko-Edo-machi to Ginza because I really wanted to try it! I was the first customer, probably due to the self-restraint measures, so there were very few people in Ginza, allowing me to enjoy my meal leisurely! On top of the hamburger was a beef stew ❤️ The meat was so tender and delicious! The hamburger itself, being called "golden," was indeed soft and juicy. It was definitely worth coming all the way to Ginza. Thank you for the meal!

I visited on Saturday afternoon. The restaurant is located in a place that can only be reached by elevator, which is slow and crowded, making it a bit inconvenient. I made a reservation online through the restaurant's website and had the lunch steak set with sirloin and lean meat. First, I had a salad. It was generously topped with a soy-based dressing and was crunchy and delicious. Then came the tare sauce, white wasabi, wasabi, salt, and yuzu to eat with the steak. And finally, the steak. It was larger than I expected, and the sirloin for 4500 yen and lean meat for 3800 yen were worth it. When I tried it with salt first, I could taste the umami and sweetness of the sirloin, and I was satisfied. The rice was Yumepirika from Yamagata, which was also delicious. Refills were also allowed. It seems like they pay attention to the dishes as well. Everything was lovely, and I enjoyed the visual presentation. The miso soup had Nameko mushrooms in it. Yes, I definitely want to come back at night next time~

On the first floor, there was no sign, so I was puzzled, but when I took the elevator to the 12th floor, the interior of the restaurant was charming with a gentle wooden atmosphere. The spacious interior with tables lined up was relaxed and not too formal. They offer a limited 5 servings of hamburg steak lunch for around 2000 yen, but I decided to try the miso sukiyaki lunch that I was curious about. The appetizers were made with meat and were really delicious! The hot pot, although small with one stove per person, was filled with plenty of vibrant meat. Despite the small size, the meat was flavorful and really tasty. The rice was Yumepirika from Yamagata prefecture, with free refills available. Finally, I finished with egg over rice. The portion was a bit small, and I refrained from adding dessert and coffee for an additional 500 yen. I would like to come back and try more dishes at this wonderful restaurant that made me want to visit again. It seems that they cannot display the menu on the first floor, but restaurants in Ginza buildings are full of surprises. I want to continue exploring more of them. At Ginza 5-chome, on the first floor, there is a monitor where you can see inside the elevator for some reason. I went up to the 12th floor. The spacious interior was filled with low jazz vocal BGM. I ordered a glass of Toko Junmai sake at room temperature. They had a special online reservation-only set menu featuring a 100% Yamagata beef "Golden" hamburger steak for 2,178 yen including tax. The salad appetizer came with roast beef on top. The hamburger steak had a piece of thigh meat on top, cooked in a stew style, tender and easy to cut with chopsticks. It was delicious. The rice was labeled as Premium Tsuya Hime online, but there was no explanation on-site. All the ingredients were from Yamagata.

I went to Ginza Yonezawa Beef Koginoki through the One-person GOTOEAT campaign, and I booked a set of 5 limited hamburgers made of 100% Yonezawa beef for 2178 yen on the One-night site. The set also includes a salad with a little Yonezawa beef roast beef, rice, miso soup, and pickles. The hamburger was really luxurious with a tender simmered beef cheek on top, not the typical meaty hamburger you find at a meat specialty store, but juicy and fluffy. The demiglace sauce was also delicious. The rice was surprisingly tasty, made with premium Tsubaki Hime rice from Yamagata. I usually ask for a small portion of rice, but this one was so good that I wanted to eat more. I enjoyed it with the hamburger. I couldn't resist adding a dessert coffee set for an additional 550 yen, which came with zunda (edamame paste) and La France pear ice cream. It was a lunch full of ingredients from Yamagata. The restaurant was very clean and crowded, probably due to the GOTOEAT campaign. I liked it so much that I think I'll have the hamburger lunch again next time.

This time, I ordered the shabu-shabu course. First, we were served the specialty of Yamagata prefecture, "dashi". The ingredients included fried tofu, shiitake mushrooms, enoki mushrooms, greens, and maybe winter melon? Frozen tofu, all with a refined seasoning. Next, we had an assortment of appetizers in small dishes. Yonezawa beef shabu-shabu, Yonezawa beef roast beef with soy sauce foam, Yonezawa beef simmered with pickled ginger, and more. The shabu-shabu came with 5 slices of Yonezawa beef sirloin and vegetables, with two types of dipping sauce, sesame sauce, and ponzu. We started with the vegetables. The Yonezawa beef had just the right amount of marbling, melting in the mouth. The ponzu was refreshing, and the sesame sauce was rich. Eating pickles in between made the mouth feel refreshed, making the beef taste even better. For the finale, you could choose between rice and udon. I chose udon, and my friend chose rice. The rice came with the shabu-shabu, while the udon came last. The udon was warmed in the pot after cooking the meat, which I enjoyed. Finally, we had a dessert of Shine Muscat ice cream with mint, which looked very beautiful. After the meal, you could choose between coffee and tea. It was a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience. I visited a Yamagata beef specialty store that recently opened in a new building in Ginza 5-chome, along Chuo-dori where Longchamp is located on the first floor. The interior of the restaurant had a luxurious and calm atmosphere, and I was seated at a four-person table even though I was dining alone. I ordered the most affordable option, the Yamagata beef tender kalbi set for ¥3,200 (excluding tax). The set came with side dishes, pickles, and miso soup with tofu. The kalbi was tender and flavorful, with a mix of soft and slightly chewy pieces. The set also included various vegetables like maitake mushrooms and shishito peppers. I thought a bit more sauce on the rice would have been nice, but overall, it was a delicious meal. For dessert, I had zunda ice cream, panna cotta with raspberry sauce, and hot tea to finish the meal.
