Today, I went shopping in Nakano with my friends. We explored Nakano Sun Mall and Broadway, then moved to the south exit for lunch at Marui. Afterwards, we went down to the 4th floor and found "MUJI Nakano Marui Store," so we decided to check it out. MUJI, which started in 1980 as a brand of self-developed products by Seiyu, means "no brand good product." By simplifying packaging and focusing on simple product design, MUJI was able to produce low-cost items by saving on production costs. Originally known for clothing and household goods, MUJI has recently expanded its food selection. I bought some bread to try out: Cheese Onion, Curry Danish, and Mini Ramen. The Cheese Onion bread had a nice blend of onion flavor and Parmesan cheese. The Curry Danish, made with soybean flour and less wheat flour, was surprisingly healthy and delicious. The Mini Ramen, with chicken soy sauce flavor, was tasty but a bit salty when eaten without hot water. MUJI is known for its simple and popular items, and I'm considering using their interior products for my next room makeover.
