Tonight is the year-end party♪ The chosen restaurant is a sushi all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink traditional Japanese restaurant in Ginza! This place is a members-only establishment, but once you go, you receive a business card and can make reservations for next time. I heard it was all-you-can-eat in advance, so I had a light lunch and went with an empty stomach o(・ω・`)。 The location is in the building next to Mitsukasa Kaikan. The first floor underground has a counter and table seating. The second floor underground has completely private rooms. The main store is in Nakasu, Fukuoka, and it's the third year since they expanded to Tokyo. In Ginza 3-chome, "Ginza Bettei" just opened this year. It's on the 9th floor of the VORT Ginza Maxim Building. Only private rooms are available for 2 to a maximum of 16 people. Tonight, we are dining on the first underground floor^_^ It has a calm atmosphere that would be appreciated for entertaining guests. First, drinks. There is a wide variety available (laughs) Wine has limited options, but the selection of sake is quite impressive! All-you-can-drink is always dangerous, right~( ̄▽ ̄) I had plenty of sake (laughs) The food starts with today's kaiseki course. Even this could make you full, but the portions are small, which is nice. Finally, we reached the sushi♪ ◎ Thinly sliced conger eel ○ Assorted sashimi of live fish ○ One-bite dancing abalone ◎ Steamed conger eel and ginkgo nuts ◎ Wagyu beef tail grill ○ Hakata turtle stew ◎ Salt-grilled flounder The sashimi platter was impressive\(^o^)/ Including shrimp, shirako, homemade mentaiko, mirugai, water octopus, scallop, kue, medium fatty tuna, fresh mackerel, and more. Some had a slightly fishy smell, but overall they were decent. The Wagyu beef tail grill was unexpected! There wasn't much to eat, but it was so tender and delicious~♡ The steamed conger eel had a great broth. The salt-grilled flounder was perfectly cooked. It had a nice amount of fat. Now, we ordered dishes from the regular menu♪ Fugu and shirako tempura, white shrimp tempura, delicious mentaiko tamagoyaki, broiled conger eel, sesame mackerel, and many more! It's hard not to order a lot when it's all-you-can-eat, right? Finally, we couldn't forget the nigiri sushi. Medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, conger eel, saury, rolled sushi, etc., everyone ordered what they wanted. I asked for less rice on mine. The quality of the fish wasn't top-notch, but it was decent. The sea urchin, however, was quite disappointing~(+_+) It had a bitter taste and looked unappetizing. It felt like it had been sitting out for a while... Finally, we had dessert too(*´꒳`*) Kuzukashi and karinto manju. The karinto manju was crispy and delicious♡ ★Pricing The first underground floor is 16,000 yen. The second underground floor is 21,000 yen. The private rooms with sunken hearths are 25,000 yen. Ginza main store new plan 30,000 yen (featuring rare and exquisite sake only) Private rooms are recommended for entertaining or special occasions. For casual dining, the counter or table seating on the first underground floor is sufficient. The food was generally delicious and satisfying, but if you only consider the sushi, I think there are better options (^_^;) The service was very pleasant, and the landlady saw us off until the end. It was a good experience, and I would like to visit again if I have the chance!
