Sushi Kappo Takakatsu Ginza This time, I visited Takakatsu, a place I've been curious about for a while. At night, it's a members-only establishment, but for lunch, it's open to the public, and they offer an all-you-can-eat option for 6,000 yen (tax included). I've been wanting to go there for a while, but due to various reasons like COVID and work, I couldn't make it until now. I made a reservation through their website and arrived at the restaurant at 11:30. Surprisingly, there were no other customers - it was like a private dining experience. The staff explained the course to me, which included all-you-can-eat sushi, appetizers, sashimi, tea, tempura, and more. The quality of the food was excellent, especially the octopus, conger eel, and cold yellowtail. The sushi was fresh and delicious, with generous portions. The atmosphere was relaxing, and the service was friendly. I left feeling fully satisfied and promised myself to visit again. I also want to try their dinner menu next time. Don't let COVID stop you from enjoying good food!

¥27,500 course on the 2nd underground floor. All-you-can-eat and drink. Only one type of wine and sparkling wine available (no champagne, just one type of low-priced sparkling wine in a half bottle). All-you-can-eat sushi after the course meal. The course meal is equivalent to an izakaya level. The wagyu beef was tough and I ended up leaving a piece uneaten. The chawanmushi had chicken and the soup was quite salty. I didn't see the need for it to be served in a chawanmushi style. The sushi was neither good nor bad. It's best to go on an empty stomach. Suitable for business entertainment.

I was taken by a friend to a place in Ginza where we enjoyed all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat. The variety of drinks and food was satisfying. With such a menu, both drinkers and food lovers can be happy. As the one who invited me didn't have to worry about paying, this was a great experience. Thank you for the meal. Although it's not authentic Edo-style sushi, the sushi we had was very delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I was introduced to this membership-based shop by a member and brought along. It is located just a short walk from Ginza Station, with the shop being located underground. We descended to about the second basement floor and were guided to a private room. Upon arrival in the room, we were explained the course menu for the day and started with ordering beer. The course included: - Today's assorted sashimi: blowfish, whale meat sashimi, and live fish sashimi. This was impressive! A luxurious assortment including chu-toro, octopus, abalone, thread-sail filefish, liver, shirako (milt), sea urchin, scallop, and cod roe. All very fresh and perfect with sake. The shirako was particularly rich and delicious. - One-bite abalone dance-grilled - Today's steamed hot pot: with the aroma of matsutake mushrooms, it had a delicious broth that warmed us up. - Steamed hairy crab - Grilled wagyu sagari tail - Grilled silver whiting with salt - Your choice of sushi and red miso soup For the final course, you can order your favorite sushi, but we were already quite full haha. We ordered sashimi like sawara and shirako. Everything was very delicious. Finally, we warmed up with red miso soup. We were recommended the dessert, so even though we were full, we ordered the bracken rice cake. It was also delicious and chewy. This is a shop I would definitely like to visit again.

I went on a date here. Compared to other all-you-can-eat sushi restaurants, I think the quality here is higher. The dishes other than sushi were more delicious. It's recommended for those who like to eat a lot at a reasonable price. The staff were all very nice.

The direction of courage is not good~~~ ◼️Previous information Tabelog rating: 3.39 (as of February 2020) Genre: Sushi, seafood, Japanese cuisine, Kaiseki ◼️Sushi all-you-can-eat (5000 yen) - Mozuku, nameko mushroom, mentaiko - Sashimi - Chawanmushi - Tempura - Simmered kinmedai - 5 pieces of sushi (no specific selection of toppings) Once you finish these dishes, the all-you-can-eat sushi starts. Soft drinks are also included. Overall review: After finishing all the dishes, there isn't much time left for the all-you-can-eat sushi. It's more of an opportunity to enjoy sushi in a stylish Ginza restaurant rather than going all out for a big meal. Everything was delicious, with the eel being my favorite! The dishes were all tasty, and the sushi was freshly made in front of us, which was enjoyable. The toppings were quite fresh and delicious! - Mozuku, nameko mushroom, mentaiko - Sashimi - Chawanmushi - Tempura - Simmered kinmedai All were delicious! - Sushi The chef made the sushi right in front of us, and it was fun! The toppings were fresh and tasty! [Eel] I love eel, so I kept eating it! By default, it comes with sauce, but if you ask, they can make it with salt instead. [Simmered kinmedai] It was slightly grilled and had a salt lemon flavor. It was my first time trying grilled kinmedai, and it was delicious! [Raw octopus] I don't usually eat octopus, but the octopus here was so good, even the suction cups were edible, and I loved the chewy texture! [Wasabi roll] It was so refreshing and fun! ◼️The service was very good. The waitresses were dressed in traditional Japanese attire, creating a nice atmosphere. Also, the chef who served us was handsome. ◼️The restaurant has tables, a counter, and private rooms. ◼️The restroom is located on the 2nd basement floor. ◼️Cellular reception is available underground, and the 1st basement floor is connected. The seating on the 2nd basement floor is unclear. ◼️Other notes Taking photos is usually not allowed, but when I asked if I could take photos, they said it was okay. I have the spirit to skip work at the company, but for some reason, I feel embarrassed to go all out for all-you-can-eat in such a stylish restaurant. I lack the courage. (Make sure to go to work)

Clean and elegant atmosphere, feeling great in Ginza♪ As a man, or rather, as an old man, you must have had a dream like that at least once. A place where even a poor old man can make such a dream come true. Ginza Takakatsu. (Please arrange the channel yourself m(__)m) The restaurant is membership-based! It may seem like a high hurdle, but non-members can still use the lunch menu! Plus, the highlight is the "sushi all-you-can-eat course" with extras. It's located about a 3-minute walk from the Sukiya-bashi intersection. It's in a building next to the gourmet hall Mikasa Kaikan on the basement 1st and 2nd floors. The lunch courses include 3 options: - Sushi all-you-can-eat course lunch 5000 yen - Sushi 8-piece course lunch 4000 yen - Sushi 8-piece course lunch with all-you-can-drink alcohol and soft drinks 7500 yen (Each course includes side dishes, sashimi, tempura, chawanmushi, simmered dish, soup, and dessert) The main target of the day was, of course, the most popular "sushi all-you-can-eat course lunch"! The interior of the restaurant is designed with a Ginza vibe, yet somewhat down-to-earth and not too tense. On this day, we were guided to a counter seat that can accommodate about 6 people. The time limit for the course is a maximum of 2 hours. Last order is 30 minutes before the end time. Generally, photography is not allowed, but it was fine if you confirmed with ○○! (Was I lucky?) Although it's a sushi all-you-can-eat course, you need to finish the course dishes in order first. Side dishes: The mentaiko was delicious. Sashimi: Bluefin tuna, horse mackerel, live octopus, scallop, and kue, all delicious. Especially the scallop and live octopus were excellent. Chawanmushi: Rich egg custard with crab claw. Tempura: Shrimp, sandfish, eggplant, taro, shishito pepper. The oil retention was not great overall, but acceptable for this price. Simmered dish: Simmered golden eye snapper. The flavor was strong and went well with sake. The part was the collar of the fish, so it was a bit bloody. Soup: Red miso soup. It was a bit salty, which bothered me a bit. Sushi: Sea urchin, golden eye snapper, striped jack, flounder, bluefin tuna (medium fatty tuna). After finishing these, the sushi all-you-can-eat started! The assorted sushi that came out first was not that great, so my expectations were a bit low, but the sushi made one by one was excellent in both the quality of the fish and the rice. In terms of level, it is below high-end sushi restaurants but better than some local sushi places or high-end conveyor belt sushi restaurants. The sushi options for the all-you-can-eat may vary depending on the day's ingredients, and on this day, there were high-end options like kue, white shrimp, golden eye snapper, and bluefin tuna, which were satisfying. With the pricing that seems like it would lead to a loss if only offering sushi all-you-can-eat, it seems to be sustained by time extension through the course dishes. Depending on individual eating speed, the time for the sushi all-you-can-eat is about 20 to 40 minutes in reality. In any case, at 5000 yen, you can truly feel the high cost performance of the content. Also, becoming a member allows for unlimited time for the evening courses, with all courses (starting from 16000 yen) being all-you-can-eat and drink. Thank you for the meal m(__)m.

Group company's year-end party with colleagues. Once a year, we decided to splurge and went to a members-only Japanese restaurant in Ginza called Takakatsu Ginza Honten, a restaurant from Kyushu known to be frequented by Softbank players. Located on Ginza Namiki Street, next to the Mikasa Kaikan. There is also a Takakatsu Ginza Betten nearby. The main store is on the 9th floor of a building, with the restaurant located in the basement. We reserved a private room on the 2nd basement floor, which cost 25,000 yen per person for the course menu. Prices vary depending on the room. The table seats on the 1st basement floor range from 16,000 yen to 21,000 yen for a private room. The course menu includes a variety of Japanese dishes from appetizers to abalone, steak, sushi, and dessert, along with all-you-can-eat options from the menu. We ordered a variety of sushi to share among us. The quality of the food is reasonably high, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol includes rare brands like Dassai and Morioka, making the experience enjoyable. However, if you want the all-you-can-eat dishes, it's best to order early as they may run out. Overall, the course menu is quite filling.

The restaurant is for members only at night, but lunch is available to non-members. I had bookmarked it previously and finally had the chance to visit when I visited Tokyo. I tried the "Sushi All-You-Can-Eat Lunch Course for 5000 yen" which included appetizers, sashimi, tempura, chawanmushi, simmered dish, soup, dessert, and unlimited sushi. The appetizer platter included three types of dishes, including mentaiko. The sashimi platter had 5 varieties, with fresh octopus and scallops being particularly delicious. The chawanmushi had a generous amount of crab claw. The tempura featured shrimp and kisu, with the half-cooked shrimp being especially tasty. The simmered golden eye snapper was slightly sweet and flavorful. The sushi was served as omakase first, followed by the option to order specific items. The selection included shime saba, kuruma ebi, simmered conger eel, kue, kosode, katsuo, hirame, shima aji, maguro, golden eye snapper, kamasu, uni, ikura, hotate, live octopus, scallop, ark shell, sanma, and various rolls. The quality of the sushi was excellent, with the hotate, hokkigai, and maguro being particularly delicious. Despite missing some premium items like chu-toro or o-toro, the overall quality and value of the sushi were impressive. After enjoying the meal, I left the restaurant feeling completely satisfied.

I was surprised by the quality of the sushi restaurant in Ginza. I haven't been there, but nowadays, I wonder if conveyor belt sushi might have better quality fish. I was shocked by the lack of freshness in the sushi. The only thing that was delicious was the mentaiko sushi. Despite being in a prime location in Ginza, the restaurant was empty. Maybe being a members-only establishment is their selling point in Ginza.

I visited a members-only kaiseki restaurant without knowing the cost, but the course meal and all-you-can-drink option were satisfying on their own. You can also order additional dishes as you please. There's no need to hold back when it comes to delicious food here! The grilled kawahagi liver, swimming in the tank, is served quickly. Today's special hits were live octopus, mackerel, soft-shell crab, and fresh whitebait! Everything you eat here is delicious. There are also plenty of rare drinks available. Anyone who goes there should be able to leave satisfied. While the sushi may not be of extremely high quality, the location, atmosphere, and variety of dishes are fantastic! I heard that they offer all-you-can-eat lunch for 5000 yen, so I would like to visit for lunch next time.

Tonight is the year-end party♪ The chosen restaurant is a sushi all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink traditional Japanese restaurant in Ginza! This place is a members-only establishment, but once you go, you receive a business card and can make reservations for next time. I heard it was all-you-can-eat in advance, so I had a light lunch and went with an empty stomach o(・ω・`)。 The location is in the building next to Mitsukasa Kaikan. The first floor underground has a counter and table seating. The second floor underground has completely private rooms. The main store is in Nakasu, Fukuoka, and it's the third year since they expanded to Tokyo. In Ginza 3-chome, "Ginza Bettei" just opened this year. It's on the 9th floor of the VORT Ginza Maxim Building. Only private rooms are available for 2 to a maximum of 16 people. Tonight, we are dining on the first underground floor^_^ It has a calm atmosphere that would be appreciated for entertaining guests. First, drinks. There is a wide variety available (laughs) Wine has limited options, but the selection of sake is quite impressive! All-you-can-drink is always dangerous, right~( ̄▽ ̄) I had plenty of sake (laughs) The food starts with today's kaiseki course. Even this could make you full, but the portions are small, which is nice. Finally, we reached the sushi♪ ◎ Thinly sliced conger eel ○ Assorted sashimi of live fish ○ One-bite dancing abalone ◎ Steamed conger eel and ginkgo nuts ◎ Wagyu beef tail grill ○ Hakata turtle stew ◎ Salt-grilled flounder The sashimi platter was impressive\(^o^)/ Including shrimp, shirako, homemade mentaiko, mirugai, water octopus, scallop, kue, medium fatty tuna, fresh mackerel, and more. Some had a slightly fishy smell, but overall they were decent. The Wagyu beef tail grill was unexpected! There wasn't much to eat, but it was so tender and delicious~♡ The steamed conger eel had a great broth. The salt-grilled flounder was perfectly cooked. It had a nice amount of fat. Now, we ordered dishes from the regular menu♪ Fugu and shirako tempura, white shrimp tempura, delicious mentaiko tamagoyaki, broiled conger eel, sesame mackerel, and many more! It's hard not to order a lot when it's all-you-can-eat, right? Finally, we couldn't forget the nigiri sushi. Medium fatty tuna, sea urchin, salmon roe, conger eel, saury, rolled sushi, etc., everyone ordered what they wanted. I asked for less rice on mine. The quality of the fish wasn't top-notch, but it was decent. The sea urchin, however, was quite disappointing~(+_+) It had a bitter taste and looked unappetizing. It felt like it had been sitting out for a while... Finally, we had dessert too(*´꒳`*) Kuzukashi and karinto manju. The karinto manju was crispy and delicious♡ ★Pricing The first underground floor is 16,000 yen. The second underground floor is 21,000 yen. The private rooms with sunken hearths are 25,000 yen. Ginza main store new plan 30,000 yen (featuring rare and exquisite sake only) Private rooms are recommended for entertaining or special occasions. For casual dining, the counter or table seating on the first underground floor is sufficient. The food was generally delicious and satisfying, but if you only consider the sushi, I think there are better options (^_^;) The service was very pleasant, and the landlady saw us off until the end. It was a good experience, and I would like to visit again if I have the chance!

I was taken to a members-only shop. They offered a time-unlimited all-you-can-drink and all-you-can-eat course for 16,000 yen in Ginza, which is quite cheap! At first, a set course was served, but then we could add more dishes. I was surprised that we couldn't order our favorite dishes from the start, but all the menu items looked good, so it was fine. Later, I found out that we could skip the initial course if we wanted. We tried a variety of dishes and then moved on to sushi. Even though I was already quite full, I couldn't resist ordering several rolls of my favorite sea urchin. They served different types of sea urchin, such as salted and seared. They also offer lunch, so I would like to try it next time.

At this level of restaurant, you rarely see all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink options. Of course, given the price level, it is only natural that the quality of the food and the variety of drinks available are exceptional compared to typical all-you-can-drink places. As others have mentioned, the default setting is a kaiseki course, with additional appetizers and sushi available as much as you like. When I was younger, I might have wanted more, but as an older person, the kaiseki course alone is almost enough to fill me up. In terms of quality, the sushi is a bit lower compared to specialty sushi restaurants, but that was the general impression.

The food is not exceptional, but the system is amazing. Unlimited time for all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink. There are so many choices of dishes that it's overwhelming. The alcohol selection includes high-quality brands like Macallan, Sato, and Shunka. The staff is polite, the seats are spacious and quiet. It's a great deal for the price, just a 2-minute walk from Ginza station.

I thought it was strange to have unlimited time for all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink, but there are actually restaurants like this in Ginza. They open at 5:00 PM and the last order is at 9:30 PM for all-you-can-drink. After finishing the first course, you can order all-you-can-eat dishes a la carte. If I had known about this kind of place when I could eat more in my younger days, I could have conquered the entire menu. But now that I'm older, I can't eat as much, so I enjoy ordering and trying different drinks instead. The restaurant, with its main branch in Hakata, serves excellent fish dishes, and the staff, especially the lovely waitresses, make the experience even better. With no need to worry about the bill, you can keep adding more dishes and drinks. I thought I couldn't eat much, but surprisingly, I ate quite a bit and left with a satisfied, full belly. This kind of system with a variety of dishes in Ginza is truly appreciated. Next time, I plan to come early, drink a lot, and enjoy myself to the fullest.

I used it for lunch. The shrimp tempura was cooked perfectly and had a nice texture. The simmered flounder had a delicate flavor and was delicious. The octopus sashimi was a bit tough to chew. The tuna sashimi was delicious. I tried 15 different types of sushi, but the tuna was the best. The miso soup was also tasty. It's great to be able to have a meal at this price in Ginza. I would like to use it at night next time. Photos were not allowed.
