This restaurant is one that I decided to visit after seeing a review from someone I follow. As a fan of Ikebukuro, I was excited to explore the restaurants in Ikebukuro East for the first time. It was a holiday on a Monday around 2:00 PM, so I decided to go for lunch after the rush. The restaurant was almost full, but I was seated at the counter right away. I ordered the Sea Bream Salt Ramen with Sesame Sea Bream Tea-Infused Rice Set (1,350 yen). The food arrived in about 10 minutes, and the presentation was impressive. The ramen and rice dishes on the tray looked luxurious, and my expectations were high. The first bite confirmed that the taste was solid and lived up to my expectations. The texture of the ingredients, such as the chewy bamboo shoots and flavorful chashu, was excellent. The Sea Bream broth added a unique touch to the ramen, and the rice with soup was a delightful combination. Overall, I really enjoyed the meal and found it to be delicious. It reminded me of another similar dish I had tried before, and I couldn't help but compare the two. Both were tasty in their own way, but I personally preferred this one with the Sea Bream slices. It was a great dining experience, and I would recommend trying it out.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it was quite empty on a weekday so I decided to go in. I ordered the sea bream salt ramen and sea bream ochazuke set. The ramen had a clear soup with a strong sea bream flavor, overall it left a good impression. However, the sea bream ochazuke was quite different from what I expected. The sea bream slices were thick, only three pieces, and served with just white rice. The soup used for the ochazuke was the same as the ramen, which I think was a problem. I believe the sea bream should be thinly sliced and the soup should be different for it to be considered ochazuke.

It's hot outside, so instead of having it chilled, I thought "I should eat it in a cool place", and headed to the restaurant floor above Tobu department store (laughs). The restaurant area in the department store is always cool! It's been a while since I had sea bream broth. I've been avoiding it because some places have a fishy smell or the soup has a strong fishy taste... But this place had no fishy smell and the sea bream broth in the soup was light and delicious! The straight thin noodles may lack a bit of character, but the sea bream broth soup, like a clear soup, was tasty. The woman next to me even finished her soup completely! So of course, I also finished my soup completely! The soy sauce also looks delicious, so I will definitely try it soon (laughs).

I like dashi ochazuke, I like sea bream, and I also like ramen, so I was curious about the Tai Shio Ramen at Tomoka. I tried it at Tobu Department Store in Ikebukuro. It had a beautiful presentation and a refined taste. Personally, I wish there was a bit more sea bream in the dish. It felt a bit pricey, but it was delicious. Cost performance: ★★★☆☆, Service: ★★★☆☆, Atmosphere: ★★★★☆. Tai Shio Soba Tomoka, Tobu Ikebukuro Store, Nishi-Ikebukuro 1-1-25, Tobu Department Store 13F, 11:00-22:00. Tai Shio Ramen ¥935, Genuine sea bream dashi ochazuke ¥550. #Toshima-ku, Tokyo, #Ikebukuro Station, #Tobu Department Store Ikebukuro Store, #Tai Shio Soba Tomoka, #Tokyo Ramen, #Ikebukuro Ramen, #Ikebukuro Gourmet.

I ordered the Sea Bream Salt Ramen with Ajitama. The first thing I noticed was the unique seafood aroma! The clear and sparkling broth had an amazing flavor. It was a refreshing and smooth broth that made me feel happy! The broth perfectly matched the noodles, and it felt like the broth was coming out even when I chewed on the noodles...! It's soaked in there...! The Ajitama was the most delicious I've ever had! The flavor was well infused, and it felt like the yolk became one with the ramen! The bamboo shoots and chashu were also delicious (although they were quite firm and hard to chew). If you like a chewy texture, I recommend it! Next time, I want to try it with ochazuke set ☺️

I had the sea bream salt ramen at "Tomika," a ramen restaurant on the 13th floor of Tobu Ikebukuro. The noodles were firm and had a refreshing taste. The meat, extra-long menma, and flavored egg were all delicious. One thing that was strange was that they would only call in the next customers after half of the seats were empty, causing a long wait for those who arrived later. As a result, some customers ended up leaving. It seemed like a waste.

It's been a while since I was in Ikebukuro. It's hot, so I decided to have lunch at a shop inside the station. I had a refreshing sea bream salt soup with a wonton on top (I asked for no seasoned egg). I was curious about the ochazuke so I might try that next time. Thank you for the meal.

I had the sea bream salt ramen. It cost 850 yen. It was hot, so I wanted to eat cold noodles! But they were already sold out around 1 o'clock - what a shame. The inside of the restaurant was well air-conditioned, so it was okay to eat warm ramen. The soup broth had a nice aroma, and the noodles were firm and delicious. However, the menma (bamboo shoots) tasted a bit medicinal? It might be a matter of preference. Overall, it was neither good nor bad. It's recommended because it's a busy Saturday at Tobu Department Store and all the restaurants are crowded, but this place has good turnover so even with a group, you don't have to wait too long.

Today, I had some business in Ikebukuro and after finishing, I stopped by Tobu Department Store and visited the restaurant called Teka Hanabi for sea bream salt ramen. I once thought that their sea bream salt ramen was the king of salt ramen, but as I mentioned in a previous report, there is some variation in the taste. However, when it's good, it's an amazing salt ramen! So, I won't touch on the noodles or soup, but if you want to try delicious salt ramen or if you don't like having the same taste every time, why not stop by when you're in Ikebukuro? The main store in Akebonobashi has limited seating and often requires lining up, so I recommend this location. It may be a double carb, but I'll add that ordering the extra rice for sea bream rice porridge is also delicious. ^_^

I tried the Tai Salt Soba for the first time. It's not Japanese soba, but Chinese soba. I'm currently on a diet, so I don't eat high-calorie ramen often, but I decided to try this because it has tai (sea bream) in it and the soup seems light. It was over 37 degrees that day. I was torn between the classic Tai Salt Ramen, but I chose the summer limited cold soba because the photo was at the entrance. The edible chrysanthemum petals were beautifully arranged. As expected, the cold soup was light in flavor, and it paired well with the cold noodles. I enjoyed it a lot. I'd like to try the warm soba when winter comes.

The interior of the shop is bright and clean, leaving a good impression. Paper aprons are provided at the seats, which is convenient as there is no need to ask for them. This is my second visit, and I believe they grill the red snapper bones before making the broth, but today it seemed a bit burnt. Nevertheless, the balance between the soup and noodles is excellent. Looking forward to the next visit!

Arrived at 6:00 PM on Thursday. Two customers were already there, and one arrived after me. I'm a bit worried about the management here, as the rent seems high. It was my first time, so I ordered the regular ramen verbally to the staff. The price was 935 yen for the Sea Bream Salt Ramen. Payment was made after eating. The normal noodle portion is 140g, but I opted for the large size for an additional 110 yen, which was equivalent to 1.5 servings or 210g. The presentation of the ramen was beautiful, with the noodles neatly arranged. The toppings included chashu, yuzu peel, menma, and green onions. The condiments provided were black pepper and yuzu pepper. The chashu was a bit tough and lacked seasoning, but the meat itself was good quality and tasty. The soup had a strong saltiness at first, but it became more balanced as I continued eating. The taste of the sea bream was delicate and not overpowering. It seemed like it was not boiled vigorously. The noodles were average, and the overall combination was also just average. I'm not sure if I would want to eat here again.

Time had passed, so I decided to go out for a meal since I had some free time. I went to this restaurant that I had been wanting to try. I ordered the Sea Bream Salt Ramen for 935 yen, which was the most classic option. The presentation was beautiful. The noodles were typical of a Japanese-style ramen shop. The broth made with sea bream was delicious, but a bit salty for my taste. However, as I kept drinking the soup at the end, I couldn't stop because it was so tasty (laughs). I think it would have been more enjoyable if there were a few more toppings. I should have splurged the extra 330 yen for the "Special Sea Bream Salt Ramen" (lesson learned). Overall, it was just delicious. However, the portion size was not very large, so if you go thinking "I'll be full from the ramen," you might be disappointed. The regular size is just right for women. I wonder if it would have been different if I had ordered the "Old-fashioned Chinese Soba" or the "Sea Bream Wonton Soba"? Even after finishing the Sea Bream Salt Ramen soup, the total calorie count was only 521 kcal, which was good.

I visited the restaurant "Tai Shio Soba Tomoshibi" in Tobu Department Store for lunch. The restaurant was not too crowded, so I was seated at a table promptly. I ordered the half Tai Shio Soba and Sesame Tai Chazuke set with the noodles upsized. The staff seemed a bit tired and lacking in smiles. The soup was flavorful with a nice yuzu aroma, and the Tai with sesame sauce on rice was delicious. I finished my meal and headed to the counter to pay. The staff at the counter seemed a bit unfriendly and it took a while to settle the bill. Overall, the food was good but a bit pricey at 2000 yen. Thank you for the meal.

On the weekend around 1:45 PM, I waited for about 15 minutes to be seated at the restaurant. They have counter and table seating available. I ordered the Sea Bream Salt Ramen with flavored egg for 970 yen (including tax). It arrived in about 5 minutes. The soup, made with sea bream broth and plenty of oil, has a gentle yet flavorful presence. The thin straight noodles have a smooth texture and a good balance. The soup has various flavors like sea bream and yuzu, making it delicious. Adding some yuzu pepper from the counter enhances the refreshing taste. The saltiness is strong, but it all comes together nicely as a ramen dish. The flavored egg was delicious with a creamy yolk. Personally, as someone who prefers soy sauce over salt, I also tried their traditional soy sauce ramen in the past, but I found the Sea Bream Salt Ramen, their signature dish, to be more delicious. It was an elegant ramen with just the right amount. Thank you for the meal!

I had the salt ramen with sea bream and flavored egg. The soup had a nice fish flavor, not too salty or bland, and was very delicious. The addition of yuzu gave it a nice touch. The bamboo shoots were tender and the chashu was tasty. The flavored egg was perfectly cooked and had a rich flavor.

I went for lunch around 3pm on a regular day. There were about 3 groups of customers and it was not crowded. I ordered the special salted sea bream ramen with a set of sesame sea bream rice tea. I usually don't finish the soup, but the clear soup was so delicious that I drank it all. After the ramen, I had the sesame tea rice. It was also delicious! I would like to eat here again.

There is a ramen shop above Tobu Ikebukuro that doesn't smell like your typical ramen shop, but instead is filled with the aroma of seafood and broth. I ordered the sea bream broth ramen and broth-soaked rice set. The soup had a very gentle flavor that paired well with the noodles. The sea bream broth-soaked rice, with sashimi and sesame sauce added before pouring in the soup, was also incredibly delicious. I don't usually eat rice dishes like this, but I couldn't stop eating. The sesame sauce and broth really enhanced the flavor of the sea bream sashimi. I definitely want to go back.

Ikebukuro has more Tobu stores than Seibu stores, so I occasionally use Tobu for shopping. Today, after finishing my errands, I went to Tomika. I have used it several times, but for some reason, the taste seems to vary each time I eat there. However, on good days, I think the food is delicious.

It was Sunday afternoon and the place was crowded with families, so the turnover was really slow and we had to wait for over an hour and a half. I've been to several other branches of this restaurant, and I noticed that the bamboo shoots were thinner here compared to others, and the way they served the noodles seemed a bit sloppy. It might have just been a coincidence though...? One good thing was that they served the soup for the sea bream rice separately, which I thought was nice.

Ordered the Sea Bream Salt Ramen with Flavored Egg for 1067 yen. The clear soup is very beautiful. The taste of sea bream spreads in your mouth with the first sip of the soup. It is light yet you can feel the richness of the broth, as if you are drinking a high-quality broth. The flavored egg is simple and light, but the flavor is well infused and to my liking. The doneness of the egg is a bit subtle, leaning towards slightly firm with a slightly runny center. The chashu is a bit on the firmer side. Overall, it feels more like a ramen to savor the soup rather than enjoy the toppings. Personally, I quite liked it. I thought about getting the Sea Bream Dashi Ochazuke set with the ramen broth, but I had a feeling I wouldn't be able to finish it. If you can handle it, definitely try it as it looked delicious when my companion ordered it. The soup was so delicious that I'm sure it would be absolutely tasty. There were shichimi and yuzu pepper on the table, which I also enjoyed.
