I visited Uogokoro, where I have been going for 15 years, before heading out for drinks. Uogokoro is located on Hanamichi Street in Kabukicho, known for its delicious fish dishes. They serve fresh oysters, a variety of sashimi, crab miso, crab soup, grilled silver cod, tempura of young ayu fish, and more. It's hard to find a place in the middle of Kabukicho where you can enjoy such delicious fish dishes. The atmosphere in Kabukicho has changed a lot over the years, with a mix of hosts, hostesses, and underage individuals walking around. The simmered kinmedai (golden eye snapper) was the highlight of my meal. Japanese cuisine truly is the best in the world. A Vice President from Morgan Chase even expressed interest in visiting Kabukicho, so I plan to bring him here next month. The only downside was that the restroom was quite far. The staff were all handsome like hosts, which was surprising. The sushi restaurant I used to know is no longer there, showing how times have changed. I received a call from a former top hostess in Kabukicho who has now opened a club, and I couldn't help but laugh at the melodious Crystal 3 call. My life as someone who is constantly being taken advantage of remains unchanged.

The sushi was thickly sliced, and the chutoro and nodoguro were particularly delicious. The ebi mayo was different from what I expected, but the sauce was tasty. The oysters were huge, creamy, and had no fishy smell. They are open late at night and have counter, table, and private room seating options. Conveniently located in the middle of Kabukicho, so if you're in a pinch, this is a great place to go!笑

I felt like eating sushi in Shinjuku, so I visited this place. The restaurant is very spacious with many private rooms. I decided to order the "Premium Special Assortment for 5000 yen" which was really amazing! The size of the sushi pieces was huge, especially the tuna which was cut into large slices. The sea bream was also delicious and had a chewy texture. Overall, everything was delicious!

Visited for a dinner on a weekend night in the middle of Kabukicho. Was able to get in without a reservation. The place gives off a sushi restaurant vibe with "fish" in its name. The interior was surprisingly spacious, suitable for groups. As it was our second stop, we ordered a sashimi platter, angler liver, and shirako (diabetic course, lol). The tuna sashimi had a good flavor and was sliced thickly. The angler liver and shirako might be better enjoyed when the weather gets a bit colder. The drinks were cheap and I ended up drinking a bit too much. It's a good place for casual dining.

Today, I went to the restaurant "Uogokoro" for a business dinner after work. They have private rooms available, and I was seated in a counter private room for an additional fee. I didn't expect the room to be L-shaped, but since it's a sushi restaurant, I guess that's why. Personally, I would have preferred a face-to-face private room. However, there were other private rooms available, so there might be face-to-face options as well. The atmosphere in the private room was nice, so it would be great for a date where you can relax and talk. As for the food, we had a sashimi platter, squid with cod roe, sea bream sashimi, chicken sashimi, fried octopus, and drinks. Everything was delicious. I didn't have sushi this time, so I would definitely like to try it next time to see how good it is.

Second visit. This time, we used a private room. The private room was clean, convenient, and the food was delicious, but the staff who served us were complete amateurs... It was a shame. Before Corona, the lighting inside the visited store was dim and there were many couples. I casually entered with a female friend, but felt a bit out of place. After watching a movie, I felt like eating seafood and visited this place located behind TOHO Cinemas. It's open almost 24 hours, so it's not my first time here, but I've never tried their sushi before. I can't even make it to the sushi... typical drinker's dilemma. The sashimi is delicious as usual! Among the sushi restaurants in Kabukicho like Noyoshi Sushi, Daiban Sushi, Sushimamire, Kizuna Sushi, and Sushi Samurai (I think this one is part of the Monteroza group?), I think this place stands out in terms of taste and atmosphere. However, the selection of alcohol is boring. Really boring. At best, it's safe. I wish they would offer a few different types of alcohol that match the seasonal fish.

I ordered the sashimi set meal. I really love sashimi. When I actually tried it... it was delicious! For example, you can tell the taste of tuna at a glance, but this tuna was delicious both to the eyes and the tongue. So, it was a delicious lunch!

Although it was a smoking-permitted counter, I couldn't eat too much after going for tapioca, so I decided to have some sushi as a snack. The taste is not outstanding, but you can enjoy authentic sushi 24 hours a day at a reasonable price. It is also suitable as an izakaya. I visited after a long time and noticed that there are many foreign customers. The side menu is extensive, making it suitable for long stays and useful for sudden business entertainment. My favorite is the thin roll of fatty tuna. 😄
