Favorite spot in Sangenjaya. Started lining up at 13:35 and got my bowl at 14:08. It's quite far from the station, but there's always a line during lunchtime. The bowl was huge when I added lots of toppings. Even with just 1.5 servings, it was a substantial amount. I wanted to finish it all, but the quantity was too much to handle. Nevertheless, the soup was delicious until the end, with a gentle balance of animal and seafood flavors. I remember they had announced a price increase, but I didn't feel any change. Maybe it was a notice for a future increase. Still, I think it's very affordable.

I added extra chashu (250 yen) to my medium-sized tsukemen (950 yen). The rich seafood soup enhances the flavor when you dip the noodles in it. The chashu was delicious and I highly recommend adding it. After finishing the noodles, I enjoyed the soup as well. This is a wonderful restaurant worth waiting in line for!

On a regular day, 10 minutes before opening, there were already about 10 people waiting. It was my first time, so just that made me excited. The heat outside was intense, but the staff kindly offered me water at the perfect time, which was very much appreciated. It was clear that the regular customers were well-loved. I ordered the Chinese noodles (1 serving), flavored egg, bamboo shoots, and pork chashu. It was quite a hearty meal. The soup had a strong flavor but disappeared smoothly in the aftertaste. I liked it! The flat curly noodles paired well with it. I ended up adding toppings, but I think it would have been better to try it as the owner originally intended, in terms of balance and portion. I definitely want to visit again.

I finally tried the tsukemen at Menwasho that I had been wanting to eat. I usually end up ordering ramen because it's delicious, but this time I made up my mind to try the tsukemen. As usual, there were 7-8 people lined up, but I didn't mind waiting for about 10 minutes. I ordered the tsukemen set with beer and appetizers. The appetizer set was perfect as a beer snack while waiting for the tsukemen. It included 2 slices of chashu, menma, and a flavored egg. The flavored egg and menma were delicious, but the thick-sliced chashu was incredibly tasty. The beer was a small bottle of Kirin Lager. The tsukemen had a dipping sauce that was about three times stronger than I expected, with a slightly thick texture. It also had chashu, menma, and green onions. It was delicious, and the noodles performed exceptionally well when dipped in the sauce. The noodles were tasty, but even the regular portion was quite filling, so if you have a small appetite, ordering a smaller portion might be a good idea. If you order extra chashu as a topping, you'll get a generous amount of chashu. As a result, I might have a hard time deciding between ramen and tsukemen next time.

It's been a while since my last visit. I arrived at 13:35 on Saturday. There were 3 people waiting when I arrived. I placed my order first and waited for a while. I ordered Chinese noodles with flavored egg for 950 yen. I was able to be seated at 13:50. It seems like they serve 4 bowls per batch, and I received my bowl about 5 minutes after being seated. The bowl was large and filled with noodles. The noodles were thick and curly, resembling hand-made noodles. The soup was a good balance of fish and salt, not too strong, and brown in color. It seemed easy to finish. The toppings included thick slices of chashu, seaweed, bamboo shoots, green onions, and flavored egg. The chashu was very tender and delicious. It was a satisfying and delicious meal.

Chukamen Nakamori, 950 yen Menma, 100 yen Ajitama (flavored egg), 50 yen Arrived on a weekday at 7:30 PM, with a group of 4 people. Waited for about 25 minutes before the ramen was served. The soup is a light fish and pork bone broth with a strong flavor of bonito. The oiliness is not heavy. The noodles are medium-thick curly noodles with a chewy texture due to a high water content. The default noodle portion seems to be around 180g. The extra noodle portion was a mistake. The pork belly chashu is incredibly tender and delicious. The menma and flavored egg are also good. Overall, I was expecting more flavor, but it turned out to be surprisingly light and not as rich as I had hoped.

I visited the restaurant for the first time at 6:30 PM on Tuesday. I arrived 10 minutes before the night opening, but there were no other customers. After opening, the 6 counter seats and 4 table seats quickly became full. It was hot in the middle of summer, so I ordered a medium-sized tsukemen with extra chashu and flavored egg. The owner's commitment was strong, and although they were making 5 bowls in the first round, it took 20 minutes for the noodles to be served. It seems like the turnover is slow, so those with limited time should be cautious. The noodles were medium thick and my favorite type. The medium size was equivalent to the large size at other restaurants, so I should have just ordered one serving. The soup was a blend of seafood and soy sauce, slightly tangy and rich but refreshing and delicious. The chashu was tender and the flavored egg was flavorful. Looking at everyone's photos, it seems like the prices have gone up, but I still think it offers great value for the money. I hope they can improve their turnover, but I hope they continue to work hard and succeed.

"The Chuka-men for 900 yen plus the flavored egg for 50 yen at this place, which is said to be in the same category as Osho-ken in Nagafukumachi, was quite disappointing for me. To put it simply, it was underwhelming. First of all, the soup was lukewarm, which made me question its quality as a ramen. The taste of the soup itself was not similar to Osho-ken's, but it was a typical fish and pork bone broth ramen. It felt like a taste that could be found at any other place, not necessarily unique to this restaurant. The noodles were flat and had a good chewy texture, but they couldn't shine as much due to the lukewarm soup. The chashu was to my liking, with the pork belly roll melting in your mouth, although it got a bit tough towards the center. The flavored egg yolk was not runny, but rather semi-soft boiled, and it was delicious. The service was polite, and despite going late at night, the wait wasn't too long to be seated. However, the time it took from ordering to being served was a bit of a concern. This place is in the top 5000 on Tabelog and has high ratings on Ramen DB, but personally, I felt it was somewhat lacking overall. I wanted to be honest to my own taste, so I wrote this review without holding back."

Today, I had some business in Sangenjaya so I went to this restaurant. I arrived at 7:00 PM and was one of the first 5 customers. I got in after about 15 minutes. This time, I chose Chinese noodles with bamboo shoots and char siu toppings. The noodles were curly and medium-thick, with a texture that felt like they were hand-made. They had a very good mouthfeel and they absorbed the soup well. The soup was a Japanese-style soy sauce soup made with seafood broth. The first sip felt a bit light, but from the second sip onwards, I couldn't stop drinking it. It was addictive. The toppings were tender char siu, bamboo shoots, and chopped green onions. The char siu was so tender that it was difficult to pick up with chopsticks. The female owner was very considerate and provided a very cozy atmosphere. I felt like she enhanced the deliciousness of the ramen. It was a restaurant I definitely want to visit again.

Today's lunch at Poteranchi -> I got addicted to the acidity of this seafood dipping noodles, and I find myself craving it regularly. The restaurant was like a sauna inside, haha. Definitely going back ☀️ I actually went there to try the neighboring oil soba shop, but to my surprise, there was no line at the usually crowded Kazumasa shop next door. Before I knew it, I was already inside. Last week when I passed by, there was a sign saying they were closed for a while due to a broken device, but looks like it's fixed now. The inside of the restaurant is as hot as a sauna, with a fan blowing hot air that offers no relief. The highlight of their dipping noodles is the acidity, even though it's a seafood-based dish. The perfect level of acidity makes it addictive and I find myself craving it regularly. The curly noodles pair perfectly with the dipping sauce, and the chashu is so tender that it falls apart just by moving it in the sauce. It's cut into an easy-to-eat size, making it a luxurious treat to enjoy with the chashu and seasoned egg. The menma and green onions are also generously included, creating a lavish array of toppings that I finished completely. I always intend to try the Chinese noodles next time, but I keep ordering the dipping noodles every time. As I left the shop, there was a line forming as usual. It was truly a miraculous timing today. Taste 2: The soup lacked impact and had a mild flavor. Disappointing as there was no strong fishy smell coming from the ventilation fan. The chashu was too tough, giving a feeling of hardness. Price 4: Considering the careful preparation and portion size, it is cheap. Service 3: The service is very polite, but they may not notice when you need water, etc. Interior 1: The interior is clean but due to ventilation issues, it is as hot as a sauna. Overall rating 2.5: No plans to return.

I ordered the Chinese noodles (regular) with nori and seasoned egg toppings. The noodles were firm and to my liking. The seafood-based soup paired well with the green onions and was delicious. It was a shame that there was no option for extra green onion toppings. I visited in August and found the interior of the restaurant to be hotter than outside.

I had heard rumors about this famous restaurant in Sangenjaya, and finally decided to visit for the first time. It was around 9:45 PM, close to closing time, and there were about 4 people in line. It took about 30 minutes to be seated, possibly because the cooking time is long. I ordered tsukemen with beer, chashu, and flavored egg. The food arrived in about 10 minutes. The soup was very refined yet had a strong punch to it. The amount of noodles was incredible. It was a very satisfying meal. Thank you for the delicious food.

Visited around 20:20 on Sunday. There was no line, but the restaurant was full and had to wait for about 5 minutes. Since it was summer, most people were ordering "tsukemen". ● Chinese noodles, medium serving, 1.5 portions, ¥950 ● Char siu, ¥250 This time, I tried adding "char siu" for the first time. The slices were about 8cm in diameter, thick and tender, and incredibly delicious. Plus, with 4 slices, it was very filling. The taste was consistently delicious. Thank you for the meal.

While walking in the scorching heat of Sangenjaya, I stumbled upon a popular restaurant that was surprisingly empty. It was my first visit. Inside, there was air conditioning, but the heat from the kitchen was intense. The staff taking orders were very kind. I ordered a regular ramen with two extra boiled eggs. The tonkotsu ramen was delicious, with a classic flavor, but the portion size was quite large even for a regular size, probably around 300g before boiling. If you have a big appetite, this place is a must-try.

I was undecided about what to eat when Kazumasa suddenly appeared. There were even empty seats in the restaurant, so I decided to go in. I was thinking about getting ramen, but ended up choosing tsukemen. I love tsukemen. The noodles were smooth and had a nice chewy texture. The soup had a slight acidity and a wonderful seafood aroma. It was delicious! Both the soup and the noodles. And the chashu too. I'm not a gourmet type, so my vocabulary for describing food is limited. I immediately wanted to have more after starting to eat. The flavor is strong but not greasy or heavy, so I didn't get tired of it while eating. I had the regular size, and I was so full! I thought I was going to burst. I'm 26 and I don't eat much. Next time I come, I'll try the ramen.

I had a rare plan at San Cha, so I decided to visit around 20:30 on Wednesday. There was a line of one group waiting, which I heard is unusual for this place, but luckily I was able to get in quickly. I ordered the "Chinese noodles (regular size)." It came with chashu, menma, and nori already included. The portion was quite generous, so the regular size might be enough. It was busy, so I had to wait about 10 minutes after being seated. The "Chinese noodles" tasted much milder than it looked. The soy sauce was not sharp but gentle and Japanese-style. The seafood flavor was also subtle and not overpowering. It was a perfect balance. The noodles were thick and curly, matching well with the soup. You can tell it's a popular place from the taste. *Note: The interior only has a fan, so it can get very hot in the summer, so be careful.

The chashu was melt-in-your-mouth delicious and the soup had a rich flavor. The noodles were smooth and chewy, making it a satisfying meal. The beer and appetizers paired well together. Since there is only counter seating, it's best to go early for dinner to avoid waiting. I had the tsukemen this time, but I want to try the Chinese noodles next time. Definitely coming back! Recommended!

I visited Men Washo in Sangenjaya, which is currently ranked 3.75 in the Tabelog Top 5000 as of today. The restaurant has a counter with 6 seats and one table for 4 people. There were 5 customers inside, with the owner and his wife running the place. You order directly at the counter, and I chose the Chinese noodles for 900 yen. The atmosphere is similar to Eifukucho Daishoken, as mentioned in other reviews. The portion size seemed large, but it was too late to change my order. Inside, two women were silently looking at their phones, while another was eating. It seemed like chatting might not be allowed in the restaurant. The background music was jazz, which made me feel sleepy. The tsukemen at the next table made me regret my choice. The soup was a balanced mix of pork, chicken, bonito, and fish flavors. The noodles were flat and curly. The chashu was thick and flavorful. It lived up to its reputation as one of the top 100 ramen shops in 2017 and 2018. Overall, it was delicious.

I came here because I wanted to drink the soup from the Daishoken branch in Nagafukucho, which I haven't had in a while. One good thing about this place is that you can choose the amount of noodles yourself. The seafood soup here is undeniably delicious. It's a taste that can make people moan with pleasure. That's why I don't mind coming all the way to Nagafukucho. If I had to nitpick, the only downside is that there are few seats for customers. That's why I don't want to tell too many people about this place. The chashu is made from pork belly and is tender. It's good in its own way.

I arrived at the restaurant at 11:25 am on a regular day and was the 9th in line. I just made it in for the first round of seating. I ordered the regular size of Chinese noodles for 900 yen. Many people were ordering dipping noodles due to the season, but I decided to go with Chinese noodles for the first time. The dish was served around 12:10 pm. The turnover rate was not very high, but the freshly made Chinese noodles were delicious and piping hot. The broth was unexpectedly rich and creamy with a good punch of flavor. The thick curly noodles paired well with the soup. The melt-in-your-mouth chashu was especially delicious. I would like to come back next time to try the dipping noodles.
