I usually don't visit this side of town much, but I was able to come here because the other party chose this restaurant. In conclusion, it was an absolutely wonderful restaurant!! The pairing with the menu was lovely, and each dish was truly delicious, allowing us to enjoy a blissful time. Especially the main meat dish and the gelato dessert were exquisite, leaving a lasting impression. I was happy to be able to enjoy two different pasta flavors that I chose myself. The gelato dessert was the best vanilla gelato I have ever had. I don't often visit this side of town due to its location, but I think this restaurant is a top-notch place worth going to in Gaienmae just for this.

I chose the course menu, which had a selection of appetizers and pasta. The highlight was the delicious and flavorful meat dishes. The restaurant is located in Shinjuku and is reasonably priced, but it is small and can get noisy with other customers. However, once you start eating, you won't be bothered by the noise. I will definitely come back again.

I went to a highly rated restaurant on Tabelog to see if it was really delicious. [Before entering] I made a reservation for lunch on a weekday at the opening time of 12:00. [Inside the restaurant] There were only table seats for about 18 people. The interior was in a wood tone, long and narrow, but each seat was large and relaxing. The staff was very friendly, but their reactions were a bit mysterious when we responded. [Order] Homemade sausage with cream sauce: 1,020 yen Cabbage sauté burger with a pleasant texture: 1,300 yen Short-horn beef tartare steak: 2,310 yen [Appearance/Taste] My companion and I each ordered from various categories. The cream sauce had finely chopped sausages and didn't leave much of an impression. The noodles were firm and to my liking. The burger was made with aged meat and was moist. It had a strong flavor and was satisfying. The tartare steak was a first for me. It had a strong lemon flavor and was refreshing. It didn't have a strong meaty taste. [Overall evaluation] It is a high-level Italian restaurant with very reasonable prices, and I think the cost performance is excellent. The restaurant was full on this day, but only about half of the customers had reservations, so it may not be necessary. The burger was so delicious that it could be selected as one of the top 100 burger shops. Thank you for the meal.

I went to Carneja to eat a hamburger. I arrived around 1:20 PM on Saturday and was seated at a table for 2. I couldn't hear what the daily burger special was, and even though the menu said 1200 yen, I was told it was 1300 yen, so I ordered the classic hamburger for 1000 yen. I felt like they briefly made a face like "that's not profitable." Oh well. Would you like to add a salad for 100 yen? Well, for 100 yen, sure. The plate came with arugula salad, onion and potato gratin, and 2 pickles. They weren't inside the burger, though. The hamburger was a spicy patty with plenty of nutmeg and was really delicious. It came with fresh tomato and lettuce, along with coffee, for a total of 1200 yen. It had a better value for money compared to the burger place I went to nearby recently.

Italian Top 100 Restaurants 2023. Visited on Thursday at 11:50, but it seemed closed. Turns out it was opening at 12:00. This was my second visit today, as the first time on August 18 it was closed for summer vacation. I ordered the Tartar Burger for 1100 yen with an additional salad for 100 yen. The dessert menu was separate, with items under 660 yen priced at 350 yen during lunchtime. I ordered the Double Mascarpone Tiramisu for 350 yen. The burger arrived in about 5 minutes, served with pickles, potato gratin, and an extra salad. The bun was soft and the patty was juicy and flavorful, complementing the tartar and vegetables well. I then ordered tea to drink. The dessert arrived on a white plate, looking appetizing and served chilled. The tiramisu was smooth and delicious. I paid a total of 1550 yen in cash at the register, which included the Tartar Burger, additional salad, and dessert. Overall, I was satisfied with the quality and value of the meal, and I am considering trying the Cabbage Burger or Tripe Burger on my next visit.

I finally visited an Italian restaurant that I had been putting off visiting, even though I could walk there. I had lunch there for the first time - a burger and a beer for a midday meal on a holiday. Despite being called a cabbage burger, it was quite meaty. It was a delicious burger that could easily make it into the top rankings of burger restaurants. Next time, I'll try Italian cuisine for dinner.

I visited this restaurant for lunch on a holiday and luckily managed to get a table despite the crowd. It was my first time there, but the owner was very friendly and I was able to relax and enjoy the taste of authentic restaurant dishes. The meat sauce was different from the usual, with chunks of meat adding a strong umami flavor that was very delicious! The appetizers and main dishes were also tasty, and the wine went down smoothly. I would definitely like to visit again!

I visited Antica Osteria Carneva in Kagurazaka, Tokyo, which is known as one of the top 100 Italian restaurants in Japan. This restaurant specializes in meat dishes, but they recently started offering hamburgers as well. The meat was incredibly delicious, juicy, and the patty was meaty without any fillers. The burger was packed with offal, and the chili sauce and pickles were also outstanding.

Dined with a friend and enjoyed a variety of dishes including cold appetizers, hot appetizers, main course, and pasta. The restaurant specializes in meat, so it's no surprise that the meat dishes were delicious. However, the fruit-based appetizers were also surprisingly tasty, with delicate combinations of ingredients that made each bite enjoyable. We also tried the fish dishes this time, and they were seasoned perfectly with great texture. The meat dishes were simple, while the other plates had intricate combinations of flavors, allowing us to enjoy a variety of tastes throughout the meal. The service was attentive and precise, although at times it was a bit strong, which added a surprising element to the experience.

The payment amount is unknown, but the meat at this restaurant was incredibly delicious. For appetizers, we had tomato and mozzarella cheese, as well as beef tartare steak with truffle. We also had an omelette with aged meat inside (I forgot to take a photo). For the main course, we had an all-star dish with aged meat. For dessert, we had gorgonzola cheese cake with milk gelato on the side. We ordered a lot of meat dishes, so we started to get full during the main course. However, we still had room for dessert, and even though the cake seemed small at first, it was satisfying.

I often go to a restaurant when I feel like eating steak tartare. They always give me a lot of fries, which makes it a bit too junky. But the salad is cheap, so you definitely should order it. I always take the afternoon off and have wine pairing from noon. It's always reliably delicious, but I keep eating the same thing every time even though I think I should try something else... not good.

Tokyo: Kagurazaka / Antica Osteria Carneya
This is the restaurant my husband took me to celebrate a special day! I had no idea there was such a delicious and wonderful restaurant near our house! I found out after going that this is an amazing restaurant that has received a perfect score multiple times! It was even selected in 2023. I definitely want to go back to this restaurant! Despite the heavy rain on that day, the restaurant was fully booked! It's so popular!
Order:
CORSO DI CARNEYA ¥8800
- ENTREE: Tomato bruschetta and liver paste crostini for the appetizer! The garlic toast with bread was amazing!
- CARNECRUDA MISTO: Tartare steak of short rib beef and carpaccio of aged beef. Both the tartare and carpaccio were incredibly delicious! The meat was tender and full of flavor.
- ANTIPASTO DI CARNE CALDO: Warm meat appetizer of the day (vegetable option available). They asked if I wanted pork or caprese, and I chose caprese. It was generous and satisfying.
- PASTA DEL GIORNO: Pasta of the day, with a choice of 2 types! They asked if I wanted each on a separate plate or mixed together, so I chose mixed. I was thrilled to see my favorite "Cacio e Pepe"! The other pasta was with karasumi. It had been a while since I had such delicious pasta!
- ANANAS e BASILICO SORBETTO: Pineapple and basil sorbet for a refreshing palate cleanser.
- SECONDO PIATTO MISTO: Charcoal-grilled steak of aged beef and Palermo-style cutlet. This. This. It was incredible. The steak had a unique nutty aroma and concentrated flavor. And the cutlet was amazing too! The garlic mustard sauce was a perfect match. I want to eat it again.
- DOICE e CAFFE: Dessert and coffee. We had a Gorgonzola cheesecake with gelato and a pistachio crème brûlée. Both were fantastic. The Gorgonzola cheesecake had a hint of salt that paired well with the gelato, and my husband, who usually doesn't eat sweets, praised it. The pistachio crème brûlée had a crispy surface with a rich pistachio custard underneath. These two desserts alone could make a restaurant. (laughs)
The food was amazing, and I was in a great mood the whole time. The waiter who served us was really nice and provided excellent service, creating a homely atmosphere. Honey, take me there again. (laughs)

A restaurant that serves meat dishes and wine. I had been curious about it for a while and was taken there for a celebration. They offer appetizers with vegetables and pasta with seafood, but the main focus is on meat dishes. And of course, wine. The short rib beef carpaccio we ordered for the appetizer was delicious with its saltiness, lemon, and smoky flavor from searing the surface. I definitely want to order it again next time I visit. The pasta, although not pictured, was also delicious. Since you can order a variety of dishes, it would be great to go with about 4 people.

I wanted to eat Italian food after a long time, and my friend wanted to eat meat. I remembered a restaurant that someone else had recommended, so I looked it up and found Carne Ya. It was a bit of a walk from the nearest station, but the area had a nice atmosphere, so I made a reservation and went there. Since I was in the mood for some meat, I was looking forward to it. We toasted and started thinking about what to order. Everyone around us was having meat, so I asked for recommendations. The waiter suggested the L Bone Steak (600g), but warned us that it might be too much for two people. However, I really wanted to try it, so we decided to go for it. For appetizers, we ordered two mozzarella dishes, and also added a pasta dish. The waiter was kind enough to let us order the pasta after seeing the portion sizes. The L Bone Steak had a significant amount of bone, so we were shown how to separate the sirloin part from the fillet part. It was my first time learning that L Bone and T Bone steaks have different amounts of fillet. The steak was cooked perfectly and had a great texture. It was a satisfying meal from start to finish, including the pasta with firefly squid and dessert. I left feeling full and happy. I might go back again someday.

I made a reservation for 6:15 pm. Originally, the reservation was for 6:00 pm, but the restaurant contacted me and asked if I could come at 6:15 pm or 6:30 pm instead. Since it was only a short time difference, I decided to go for 6:15 pm! The course menu I had was as follows: CORSO DI CARNEYA Carneya course menu ¥8800 (including cover charge) ENTRATA Appetizers: CARNECRUDA MISTO A dish of short rib beef tartare and hot beef carpaccio ANTIPASTO DI. CARNE CALDO Warm meat appetizer of the day (can be changed to vegetable appetizer) PASTA DEL GIORNO Pasta of the day (choose from 3 types, ask the staff for details) ANANAS e BASILICO SORBETTO SECONDO PIATTO MISTO Mixed plate of hot beef steak and Palermo-style cutlet DOICE e CAFFE Dessert and coffee The meat appetizer could be changed to a salad, but I chose the grilled pork from Yamagata prefecture, which was quite delicious. For the pasta, I could choose 2 types from 3 options, and they were served in a sharing portion. Bread was also served as a side, and overall, the portion was quite generous, maybe a bit too much for those with a small appetite. The atmosphere of the restaurant was more on the lively side, with mostly older customers. It felt like a typical Osteria. We were a party of two, and the table was a bit small, so it might feel a bit cramped for those who prefer more space or larger individuals. The main dish, beef cutlet, was a bit too salty for my taste as I'm not a fan of strong flavors. The staff were very polite and provided detailed explanations about the wine, making our time there very enjoyable. Thank you very much. Moreover, as a service for changing the reservation time by 15 minutes due to the restaurant's convenience, I also received a glass of orange wine. It was delicious! Thank you very much!

Cabbage burger for 1100 yen, served promptly. The buns are fluffy. The sautéed cabbage has a curry flavor that increases your appetite. It was delicious. Instead of french fries, they serve potato gratin as a side, which I personally found easier to eat as it doesn't leave you feeling greasy. I was pregnant at the time, so I was about to ask for the patty to be well-done, but the staff asked me if I wanted it well-done before I could say anything. They probably noticed the maternity mark on my backpack when I entered. Amazing service! I forgot to take a picture of the menu. There's a lunch course sign outside, but you can easily enjoy burgers, pasta, etc. starting from around 1000 yen. For an extra 100 yen, you can add a salad, and for an extra 100 yen, you can have coffee, tea, etc. as a set. Compared to other burger joints these days, I think it offers good value for money!

I ordered the course menu and everything from the appetizers to the dessert was delicious. I especially enjoyed the wagyu tartare and the Palermo-style cutlet. Oh, and I underestimated the pasta, but it was incredibly tasty. I would like to revisit and try the a la carte menu as well.

The tartare is so delicious that I want to go just for it. The lunch set with tartare costs 2300 yen, and the house wine is 660 yen. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is enjoyable. The cutlet is also quite filling. I will definitely come back again.

This is a review of a popular meat Italian restaurant in Kagurazaka. The nearest station is Iidabashi Station. They offer a crispy bacon and cheese Caesar salad, a flavorful tartare sauce with short rib beef, and a variety of antipasto dishes. Their white asparagus is in season and highly recommended. The Super CARNEYA All Stars dish includes aged meat, sagari, lamb, Yamagata pork, and Oyama chicken, all delicious in their own right. Their carbonara spaghetti is rich and made without cream, using only eggs, Parmigiano, and meat. The Sardinian spaghetti with bottarga is also a must-try, with a delicious oiliness from the aglio e olio. They also serve pistachio gelato in individual portions. Overall, the meat and pasta dishes were delicious at this meat Italian restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

Italian Top 100 Restaurants Tokyo 2021 - Meaty Italian Cuisine
A platter of aged meats including three types of beef, lamb, and chicken steaks for 9800 yen (to share among 3 people). The beef trio is a masterpiece, packed with the umami of lean meat. The lamb is flavorful and absolutely delicious. With an appetizer platter, pasta, two beers, and three glasses of wine, all this amazing meat for just around 10,000 yen per person is a great deal! I definitely want to visit again.
