However, as a solo diner, I always struggle with whether to order appetizers or not. The pizza is delicious, so should I eat multiple slices of pizza? Or should I go for a self-course style meal of appetizer, pizza, and dessert? It's a tough decision, especially when the appetizers look delicious, making it hard to choose between Bianca and Flora. Deborah? Who's that? (SFC extremist) However, at a restaurant known for its delicious crust, ordering multiple pizzas is the default choice. That's why I visited "Savoy Tomato and Cheese Shop." This is a sister store of the famous restaurant "Savoy." I have visited the main store before, but this time I went to this restaurant, which was also selected as one of the top 100 restaurants. The restaurant has a cool black exterior. Inside, there are logs, most likely used for the pizza oven, placed prominently. Towards the back, there is a counter seat centered around the oven. All seating is at the counter. Compared to the main store, the layout is smaller. There were many foreign customers, and the staff responded promptly to requests like "I want a pizza that vegetarians can eat," which I found impressive. The menu is quite limited, with around 7 types of pizzas. Since I had tried the Margherita, a specialty at the main store, I chose other options. Here's what I ate: Pizza: O Mozzarella - Mozzarella cheese topped with Ozaki beef stew. The Savoy's crust is delicious, as expected. The chewy texture around the edges is irresistible. It's chewy and occasionally crispy, showcasing their baking skills. The cheese melts into a creamy texture, blending with the tomato sauce. The Ozaki beef is very tender, with a gentle sweetness. Prosciutto & Fava Beans - A limited edition pizza listed on the blackboard. A cheese-based pizza topped with prosciutto and fava beans evenly spaced. It's a simple pizza but delicious. This pizza highlights the chewy texture of the crust, with the salty kick of prosciutto and the crunchy texture of fava beans. Despite being located in an upscale residential area, the restaurant has a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, which I appreciated. Savoy is really good. Thank you for the meal!

It's unbelievably cheap. And you can get an additional pizza for just 900 yen. You can't help but order it. I love pizza, and I go to various pizzerias, but SAVOY's pizza is one of my favorites. The crust is thin yet soft and chewy, which is my favorite texture. I tried both pizzas, but personally, I preferred the Marinara. The garlic aroma is amazing, and the amount of oregano is just right. I am truly grateful that we can enjoy such delicious pizza at this price!!! ★Thank you for the meal★

Visited Savoy Tomato and Cheese store for the first time. I had known about it for a while, but finally got to go. It is located near Azabu-Juban station. I had the Margherita for lunch. As the name suggests, tomatoes and cheese are their specialty, and the aroma of both was amazing, making me feel like I could get addicted. Savoy is actively expanding in this area, renovating or opening affiliated stores, and I would like to visit all of them.

They say you have to put it in a 500-degree pot for just 1 minute. It's chewy but also crispy in some parts, and really delicious. The salad is a half size if there are two people, which is just the right size. Reservations are essential as there are few seats and they fill up quickly, so you may end up waiting outside.

Today, for our second stop, we visited SAVOY in Azabu. I saw this place on YouTube and thought it looked interesting, so I searched on Tabelog and found out it's a famous restaurant. I made a reservation for 1:00 PM. We ordered the Y Pizza (topped with half-cooked bluefin tuna), wasabi (as a topping), and a bottle of beer. The bluefin tuna is said to be from Nachi Katsuura in Wakayama. It was innovative and delicious!

The prosciutto appetizer had just the right amount of saltiness and disappeared in no time. I decided to try the tuna pizza, which was quite unique. The combination of mayonnaise, green onions, and tuna was surprisingly delicious! The marinara was also top-notch. For dessert, they served a pizza with ice cream on top, and it was also delicious. Each pizza was baked one by one, even though they were busy with Uber orders coming in one after another. The timing of serving the pizzas was perfect. The staff's smiles were comforting, and I was impressed by both the taste and service. I will definitely go back!

The tuna pizza is unbeatable and delicious. The side dishes like green salad, marinated octopus, celery, meatballs in tomato sauce, and tripe in tomato sauce are all delicious with authentic flavors. I arrived at the restaurant on a weekday at 11:35 am and was lucky to be seated right away. For lunch, the options were Margherita or Marinara pizza. Since it was my first visit, I chose the classic Margherita. The pizza arrived about 5 minutes after ordering. The basil, mozzarella, and tomato sauce were all fresh and flavorful. The pizza crust was perfectly made with the right balance of flour, salt, and cooking time. It was just the right amount even for someone with a big appetite, but you can order an extra pizza for an additional charge. It is recommended to call ahead for takeout about 30 minutes before pickup, but the staff prefers customers to enjoy the freshly baked pizza in the restaurant within 2 minutes. The restaurant is closed on Wednesdays, and for weekday lunches, cash payment is required.

On this day, I came to this Pizza Hyakumeiten to celebrate my job offer. Pizza Hyakumeiten used to have about 50 stores, but after a break, there have been many changes and this Pizza Hyakumeiten 2023 is the 32nd store. This one is located near Azabu-Juban Station. The exterior looks like a Japanese restaurant, and the interior is a small place with only a counter. It's always full of customers, and it was a strange atmosphere with foreign couples or single male customers coming in. I had the Marinar and Margherita. The lunch menu includes a salad and peach tea. SAVOY is known for its pizza with a gooey texture. This one I had was smaller than the previous SAVOY pizzas I've had, with a thicker crust, but the gooey tomato sauce was still delicious. I enjoyed it a lot. I wasn't interested in Marinar before, but the oregano aroma was great, and it was the best Marinar I've had (not that I've had many Marinars before). It might have basil in addition to garlic. I asked if they had drinks, even though it wasn't on the menu, and they brought me a draft beer. The foreign couples were eating a pizza with tuna from the dinner menu. Enjoyed the meal!

I visited "SAVOY Tomato Cheese" at Asakusa Juuban. The underground shop is called "Ozaki Yukitaka". It seems to be a shop that combines the names of Ozaki beef from Miyazaki and the owner of Yamako. Margherita pizza costs 1650 yen. The crust is chewy and quite delicious. The restaurant is very stylish, from the outside staircase to the interior and tables. The interior is narrow with only counter seats. It seems that lunch menu is only available on weekdays. Reservations are accepted, and when I called around noon on the day, they said the reservation slots were full but I could probably get in without waiting. When I arrived at 13:30 on a Saturday, it was full, but I was able to get in as there was turnover.

Visited a delicious pizza place near Roppongi. The restaurant is close to the station and has a chic interior, with more foreign customers than Japanese, giving it an international vibe. The staff were very friendly. I went with a friend and ordered a salad with prosciutto, a Margherita pizza, and a pizza with natural bluefin tuna from Yamayuki. The Margherita was delicious as expected, but the tuna pizza was surprisingly amazing. I can't forget how well the tuna and pizza went together. I want to go back again soon.

I love SAVOY and this was my first visit to this store. The interior is indeed small and the seating is limited, but for some reason, that adds to its charm. In addition to the Margherita pizza, I also tried the Y pizza that day, and another pizza as well. The pizzas were consistently delicious, and I personally think that SAVOY's pizza is the best in Japan. I will definitely come back to eat here again. Honestly, I don't want this place to become too well-known!

I visited on Saturday at lunchtime. It's a popular restaurant where people were lining up even close to the last order time. I learned about this pizza restaurant from a friend's recommendation as one of the top 100 pizza places in 2021 and 2017. I visited on a Saturday around 11:55 am. The restaurant was full with one group waiting outside. After waiting in line, a few groups followed. Luckily, we were able to get in after about 5 minutes. The staff member who guided us inside was very friendly and had a smile on their face. The restaurant had a very stylish interior, though it felt a bit cramped at first, there was enough space once seated. On this day, there were many foreigners (both Western and Asian) who made up about 70% of the customers. The kitchen seemed to be quite busy, likely due to many takeout orders. It seemed that there was no lunch menu available on weekends. I decided to order a beer to treat myself: - Margherita Pizza 1,650 yen - Premium Malt Beer 770 yen Total: 2,420 yen The beer arrived quickly and it was a treat to have a drink during the day. Beer tastes better when enjoyed at a restaurant! Shortly after, the pizza arrived. I dug in right away. The cheese in the middle was melted and delicious, while the crust was crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. The texture was enjoyable from start to finish. Before I knew it, I had finished the whole pizza. It was a long time since I had such delicious pizza. I heard that the main branch was renovated and reopened as "SAVOY Classic" on March 25, 2023, so I look forward to visiting there next time. Thank you for the meal.

About a 5-minute walk from Azabu-Juban, I visited the branch of SAVOY. It was my first time at this restaurant. I had the Margherita pizza, which was incredibly delicious. The crust was thin but chewy, with a crispy edge. The tomato sauce was light and the cheese was gooey. When it comes to pizza, SAVOY's style is definitely my favorite. I heard that the Azabu-Juban branch has relocated and been renovated, so I will visit there next time.

A little pizza place within walking distance from Asakusa Station! The narrow interior with only a counter seating was always busy with people waiting in line. There were many foreigners, but the staff handled everything in English without any issues. The menu only had Margherita or Marinara, and I chose Margherita without hesitation. The pizza was baked in front of me and came out piping hot from the oven! The oven-baked pizza was delicious to begin with! The crust was chewy but light, with a good balance of tomato sauce and cheese. I finished a whole piece in no time! The size was quite big, so I left feeling satisfied. They also served a slightly sweet peach tea, which was a nice touch. Note that they only accept cash for lunch, and it cost 1100 yen. I was very happy with the atmosphere and taste!
