I can't forget the delicious "6th place in the world championship" pizza I ate at Trattoria Azzurri in Musashi-Urawa. So, I came to Trattoria Da Isa, a famous pizza restaurant here in Nakameguro, where you can try the champion pizza from the world championship! When I arrived at the restaurant, it was a little past 6:00 PM, which is early for dinner, but there were already about 6 people waiting in line. Despite being a pizza place, the line and the restaurant itself had a casual feel. The turnover was quick, and I was able to get inside in about 15 minutes. The restaurant had a casual atmosphere with plenty of tables, and it was full of people who came to enjoy the champion pizza. This time, I ordered the Mushroom Pizza and the Buffalo Mozzarella and Anchovy Pizza. The restaurant had an impressive pizza oven, making delicious pizzas one after another. It seemed like the restaurant operated on a one-drink system, with a selection of wines and other drinks to choose from. Soon, the pizzas arrived! The Mushroom Pizza had a fresh tomato aroma and a delicious mushroom flavor. The dough was firm and chewy, with a crispy, yet light texture. The Buffalo Mozzarella and Anchovy Pizza was a pizza with plenty of oil! The balance of the anchovy's savory and salty flavors was perfect, making it a true anchovy pizza! One of the best things about this restaurant is its casual and welcoming atmosphere. It's easy to come in and just enjoy some pizza! It's highly recommended for anyone who just wants to eat delicious pizza. I also liked the street food-like vibe of the place.

Finally visited Da Isa, a place I've always wanted to go. There was a 20-minute wait in line for Sunday lunch, but I managed to get in. I ordered the classic Margherita pizza and a beer. It was a bit strange that the Margherita arrived before the beer, but it was delicious - the dough, tomato sauce, and cooking were all excellent! It was great to see the famous chef cooking so seriously.

I used to visit this place often, but suddenly felt like eating there and visited for lunch for the first time. I was told that each person must order one pizza for lunch, so I ended up getting quite full haha. One Calabrese pizza, one Margherita pizza, two beers, the bill came out to about 7000 yen. It felt a bit expensive. I had the antipasto platter and two glasses of wine, so I can understand the price, but the value for money might not be great. The pizza was good, but not exceptionally delicious. There are plenty of other tasty options out there. The restaurant was noisy inside, so I probably won't visit again.

We lined up at a famous Champion's shop where a queue had formed even before opening. We ordered the popular water buffalo and anchovy pizza, the runny egg pizza, and the cheese and honey pizza. The pizzas had authentic crusts and were all very delicious. We had to use multiple napkins as our hands got black from sharing the pizzas. We visited for lunch this time, but I wonder if the atmosphere changes at night? I would like to come back for a glass of wine...

We visited a pizzeria that has won the Naples Pizza Championship multiple times. We were able to enter without waiting around 8 pm on a weekday. We ordered two pizzas, one with buffalo mozzarella and the other with sausage and mushrooms. Surprisingly, we were able to finish both pizzas easily. They were delicious, but the pizza crust had a slight sourness to it, and the tomato sauce seemed a bit lacking in flavor.

I watched YouTube roughly and visited the restaurant. I tried Margherita with buffalo mozzarella cheese and anchovies, as well as a pizza with eggs and anchovies. I visited the restaurant before it opened on a holiday, and there were already quite a few people lining up. I managed to get in after one rotation. I ordered Margherita and Quattro Formaggio pizzas. They were delicious, but I thought the Margherita could have had a bit more sauce, spread more evenly. The Quattro Formaggio had honey available for an extra 50 yen. If they ask how you want the honey, maybe it's better to include it in the set from the beginning. Some people might not want it. The restaurant has a good turnover, so even if you have to wait in line, you can probably get in fairly quickly. Thank you for the meal.

On a hot day, I walked from Naka-Meguro and felt like having something salty. So, I went to the popular restaurant "Margherita Alla Romana". It had tomato sauce, mozzarella, basil, and anchovies. I opted for the buffalo mozzarella with an extra charge. The way they put the anchovies on top was really delicious. It wasn't too salty, so don't get the wrong idea. The pizza dough also had a different crispy texture that I really enjoyed. Maybe it's because of how they spread the flour when stretching the dough. It was great to finally visit this place. The bright and open atmosphere on the street felt simple and pleasant, just like in Southern Italy. When it comes to Neapolitan pizza, I usually go for the Marinara with tomato sauce, basil, garlic, and oregano, without cheese and anchovies. But today, the Romana was the right choice for me. So, I casually appeared at a famous pizzeria in Nakameguro to enjoy some pizza. As soon as I entered the store, I felt like I had made the right choice. This is a popular pizza restaurant in Nakameguro. It has a casual and trendy atmosphere, more like a casual Chinese restaurant than a stylish Italian one. The pizzas are delicious, and even though they are large in size, they are light and easy to finish. When we arrived at 11:45 on a Saturday, the 34-seat restaurant was already full, with a waiting list of 2 groups. However, the turnover was fast, and we were able to get a table before noon. - Buffalo Mozzarella Cheese Pizza (tax included 2,530 yen): This is called Margherita D.O.C. in English. The normal Margherita is 1,815 yen, but I wanted to try the one with buffalo mozzarella. The pizza is large, but the thin crust is crispy and light. The mozzarella cheese could have been more generous, but maybe the lightness is due to the amount. Despite its size, everyone around us, including women, finished a whole pizza by themselves. - Sausage, Olive, and Mushroom Pizza (tax included 2,530 yen): This is called Capricciosa in English, which means whimsical. The cheese is normal mozzarella, but this pizza has a variety of toppings and flavors, which I enjoyed. It is still large but easy to finish. They offer a good selection of Italian wines for around 4,000 yen per bottle. We chose Verdicchio on this day. During lunch, not many people ordered alcohol, and the pizzas were ready in about 5 minutes, so the turnover is fast. Couples or groups of two women stayed for about 60 minutes, while male groups left within 30 minutes. There might be a line outside, but the wait to get in may not be too long. We also left within 60 minutes while enjoying our wine. Just be aware that the prices on the menu are excluding tax.

I'm sorry, but I really doubted if this was truly a well-known restaurant. It's been a while since I've had such a tasteless pizza. The tomato sauce was weak in flavor, the crust was thin and lacked any crispiness (there wasn't even any browning). The crust was so unappetizing that I almost left it behind, but I forced myself to finish it. I will definitely not be visiting again.
