Today, I had a strong craving for gyoza and fried rice, so I stopped by "Gyoza no Ohsho Okachimachi Ekimae" restaurant. No matter how many times I go, I always end up ordering the gyoza & fried rice set, but I'm completely satisfied every time. I'll have to cut back a bit tomorrow though haha. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Today, I stopped by Gyoza no Ohsho near Ueno Station. The place has evolved quite a bit over the years. I ordered the classic set of gyoza, fried rice, and fried chicken. It was a hearty meal, and the fried rice had the perfect amount of salt. The gyoza was delicious, but the sauce was just okay for me - I prefer to mix my own. Overall, it was very tasty. Both Kyoto Ohsho and Osaka Ohsho have increased a lot in the Kanto region, right? For people from Kansai, it's a mix of good and bad. The taste we grew up with since childhood at local Chinese restaurants was always "Ohsho." That's why we like it. But we don't go (laughs) because we end up comparing. But we ended up coming (laughs). We ordered the Cha-han for 550 yen (tax included) and the Gyoza for 297 yen (tax included). When I was in Osaka, I always ate this with Ten-tsun rice (laughs) (^o^)v And the Cha-han... hmm, the taste... it's a bit bland. I wish they added a bit more salt to bring out the flavors of all the ingredients. As for the gyoza... the delicious gyoza from Kyoto Ohsho... where did it go? It's watery. Long time no see at King Shou! The "Gyoza" and "Karaage" combo in the value "Tenshinhan set" ♥ Recently, the nearby King Shou closed down, so I haven't visited in a while, but freshly grilled "Gyoza" tastes delicious when eaten in the restaurant ♥ It's surprising that 5 pieces cost only 297 yen including tax. The "Chicken Karaage" is crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, and it's really cost-effective for us Japanese people (laughs). The main dish, "Tenshinhan," has fluffy egg and uses "Imitation Crab" instead of real crab, which is bold ♥ You can choose the sauce, but the classic "Sweet Vinegar Sauce" on the hot plate is addictive in taste. I enjoyed it very much ♥

Tianjin fried rice is extremely delicious!! It's like taking delicious fried rice and putting the top part of delicious Tianjin rice on it, creating a slightly silly menu item that I think would be even more delicious. It's not very noticeable on the menu, but I think this is the most delicious option. I think it follows the theory of "delicious + delicious = super delicious," similar to the logic behind katsu curry. The menu pushes the Gokou Tianjin rice, but I personally prefer the Tianjin fried rice by a long shot. In fact, I have never had fried rice more delicious than this.

Lost in Ueno. Hmm, that looks delicious too. Oh, this one looks good too! Wow, there's a line! This place is expensive! I ended up at Osho. I wonder how many years it's been? I think the last time was in Shibuya. I used to go to the one near Todai and Sangenjaya a lot. I like the one near Todai the best. I always order the Chinese fried rice. The taste here was gentle. It was different from what I expected, but I was satisfied.

Hello. I'm Private Tsuchinoko. I felt like eating ramen, so I came to Gyoza no Ohsho in Okachimachi. Today, I'm having a solo lunch. I arrived at 11 o'clock. The limited menu for June 2023 seems to be "Buta Kara Ramen", but I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I passed on that. I usually go for the non-spicy limited menu items, but this time, I saw they have "Gokuo Tenshin Men"! It's a bit pricey, but I decided to treat myself and ordered it! It arrived in 5 minutes. Wow! Looks delicious! The soup is a light taste, a bit salty, good for replenishing salt in the summer. It seems to be based on fish and kelp. The egg is half-cooked and looks great! The egg seems to be doubled. The soup is a yellow color with green onions that stand out. I tried a sip of the soup, and it's very gentle in flavor, a salty taste. The taste of mackerel and kelp is strong. The egg is fluffy and creamy! I think it's a taste that girls would like. I wonder if it would be delicious with cheese on top? There are quite a few imitation crab sticks in it. I believed it was crab and tried it, and it tasted like real crab! A recommended way to eat it! The noodles are made from wheat from Hokkaido. I requested the noodles to be cooked firm, and they have a good bite to them! The noodles are recommended firm. The noodles mixed with the creamy soup are heavenly! There are four pieces of wood ear mushrooms in it. They seem to be using domestically produced wood ear mushrooms, and the crunchy texture is amazing! I enjoyed the plump shrimp with the fluffy egg. Good afternoon. I'm Private Tsuchinoko. I felt like having soy sauce ramen, so I came to Gyoza no Ohsho in Okachimachi. Today, I'm having a solo lunch. I arrived at 12 o'clock. I happened to see a new item on the official website, which caught my interest. The product is called "Unforgettable Chinese Soba" and it will be available from April 1, 2023. It seems to refer to old-fashioned Chinese soba. I ordered this item from the staff! It arrived in 5 minutes. Wow! Looks delicious. This is the kind of ramen I like. First, I took a sip of the soup... It's not the traditional soup! It's a modern soy sauce soup with a strong seafood broth flavor. The aftertaste is particularly seafood-like. There's quite a bit of oil floating on top, which I believe is green onion oil. The aroma is great! The noodles were cooked firm as I requested. The noodles are like this. They are medium-thick straight noodles that cling well to the soup. I tried slurping the noodles... The more you slurp, the more soup you get in your mouth! The firmness of the noodles is just right since I asked for them to be firm. They use wheat flour from Hokkaido, and the wheat aroma after chewing is nice. I thought the noodles were as good as those from ramen specialty shops. Now, let's look at the toppings! [Green Onion] A few pieces of fresh green onions were on top. Crisp and nice! Can you add extra green onions at Gyoza no Ohsho? I wanted to add more! [Menma] There were a few pieces of firm menma in the soup. The flavor wasn't too strong, which I liked! [Seaweed] There was a large piece of seaweed. The seaweed's flavor was great when eaten with the noodles! [Naruto] This is it. This Naruto alone makes the name "Unforgettable Chinese Soba" shine. Ramen from the Showa era often had Naruto in it. [Chashu] The chashu here seems to be different from the one used in other ramen dishes. They seem to be charcoal-grilled! I tried it with high expectations... Hmm... I couldn't smell the charcoal aroma. That was a bit disappointing! However, the chashu was juicy, tender, and tasty. It was delicious! I really enjoyed it! I was shopping in Okachimachi and started feeling hungry, then I came across Kyoto Ohsho, a familiar restaurant. I had known about this place for a while but had never been there before. Kyoto Ohsho reminds me of my younger days in Kansai when I used to visit this place when I was short on money. Recently, they have opened many branches in Tokyo as well. I ordered a ramen set. It tasted better than before... but the prices have gone up compared to the past. I guess it's because of the high rent in Tokyo... I should visit Kansai next time and try it there too!

In dumpling mode, I went to Ousho after a long time. I looked over the menu, but couldn't find a single serving of dumplings set. Good afternoon. I am Private Tsuchinoko. I felt like having ramen, so I came to Gyoza no Ohsho in Okachimachi. Today, I am having a solo lunch. I arrived at 1:00 PM. The limited menu for February 2023 was "Butatoro Ramen"! Sounds delicious from the name! The restaurant was almost full when I entered, but luckily I was seated at the counter without waiting. Of course, I ordered the "Butatoro Ramen"! After ordering, it arrived in about 7 minutes. It looks so delicious! The red color of the pickled ginger stands out. This dish was developed with the concept of "Gyoza no Ohsho's New Soki Soba". There are also bean sprouts in it. First, I tried the soup! I was planning to pour the soup over the noodles, but the sauce was very strong! A pleasant surprise. When I took a sip, it had a smooth taste. The flavor is somewhat light, with a hint of Japanese-style broth. It felt like the soup was made to be eaten with the noodles. When I took out the noodles from the strong sauce soup, this is how it looked. The noodles are thick. The wheat flour for the noodles seems to be from Hokkaido. When I mixed the noodles with the sauce soup and took a bite, a large amount of soup entered my mouth! The soup mixes really well with the noodles. The strong sauce makes it so. Be careful not to burn yourself! It's hot and very delicious. A perfect dish for the cold winter. The bean sprouts also have a crunchy texture! The combination of bean sprouts and pickled ginger is excellent! I was looking forward to the "Pork Belly Cartilage"! When I took a bite, it was very soft! The texture is amazing! The cartilage part is gelatinous and seems to be rich in collagen! The flavor is not as strong as it looks, which is nice. It has a light seasoning. It would be even better if the flavor was a bit stronger, it would go well with rice. In the photos of the ramen, it looks like there is only one piece of "Pork Belly Cartilage" but there were about 4 small pieces in the soup! There was chili oil and pepper on the table, so I could change the taste using pepper and enjoy it until the end without getting tired of it! It was so delicious! Located a 2-minute walk from JR Okachimachi Station South Exit, next to Oomatsu Matsuzakaya Ueno Store. There are both counter and table seating options, suitable for individuals or groups. The clientele consists mainly of office workers, and the restaurant is usually crowded. - Gyoza (December 15, 2022) The gyoza has a beautiful brown color with a thin and chewy skin. The filling is packed with plenty of vegetables and juicy meat. It has a strong garlic flavor, making it a stamina-boosting dish. - Clear Highball (December 15, 2022) Made with Black Nikka whiskey, this highball has a refreshing and dry taste. Sports Day weekend, first day of the three-day weekend, lunchtime! I was prepared for a long line, but luckily I was able to enter the restaurant without waiting after the previous customers finished. "Welcome! Please come this way," the staff greeted me. Just like at other Gyoza no Ohsho restaurants, I ordered my usual: "Two orders of garlic-packed gyoza, chicken Karaage, leek and liver stir-fry, and a draft beer, please." Ever since the garlic-packed gyoza was added to the menu, it has been my go-to order. The draft beer was going down smoothly. "I'll have another draft beer, please," I added. The chicken Karaage was just the right size, whether it was due to a mistake in the order or just good luck. Finally, right before last call, I ordered the Gyoza no Ohsho ramen. It had been a while since I had a daytime drink and meal like this. It was a feast! Thank you for the meal!

"Ousho Ueno Station South Exit Branch" After the disappearance of the store in Shinbashi, it feels like a long time since I visited "Ousho" again. Today, in order to prevent heat fatigue, I stopped by "Gyoza no Osho Okachimachi Station Minami Exit Store" near Okachimachi Station. They have a system where you can add a little extra to your order at a reasonable price, and I was a bit indecisive, but I stuck to my original plan and added 3 more gyoza. It's convenient and great for solo diners. The taste was also delicious. It might be even better than in Osaka... Thank you for the meal.

In Ueno, there is a business hotel that I like. Right nearby, there is a Gyoza no Ohsho where I go when I get a little hungry. Today, when I left my room, I had decided on having Tenshinhan. When I looked at the menu as soon as I entered, I realized that there were three types of sauces to choose from for the Tenshinhan. I had let my guard down. The Ohsho in Kanto is different from the one in Kansai. I struggled and ended up choosing the salt flavor. When the dish arrived, I realized my mistake. This is different from the one in Kansai. I should have chosen the Kyoto style. Instead of the richly flavored salt sauce with crab sticks and fluffy egg that I was expecting, my mouth was met with a different taste from the start. So, I feel somewhat empty. Please be careful when you visit as well.

I love Osho. The gyoza here is my favorite. I always order a well-cooked gyoza set for two and a draft beer. Although there is no Teppan Osho near my house, this Hirokoji store is close by. I want to try other dishes too, but if I have room in my stomach, I always crave gyoza. It's really delicious! (laughs)

Lunch time can be busy with a line outside, but the turnover is quick so you get called in pretty fast. There are counter seats and table seats. Many people come alone or with work colleagues. Occasionally, you'll see women dining alone. Some people really love the great deals and order lots of gyoza. I always go for the Gokuo Tenshin Ramen (748 yen), it's my favorite and I order it every time. The rich egg sauce coats the noodles perfectly and it's delicious. The flavor is strong with a hint of pepper sometimes. I love the mushrooms and shrimp too. The pan-fried gyoza (297 yen) at Osho is surprisingly tasty. I underestimated chain restaurants, but now I understand why it's so popular. My family loves it too, we even buy a bunch for takeout and have gyoza parties at home. And the cost performance is amazing. Delicious and cheap!

Garlic-Infused Gyoza Feast at Gyoza no Ohsho in Ueno-Okachimachi I had a craving for something specific, so I went to Gyoza no Ohsho in Ueno 3-chome. I sat at a table, ordered a draft beer, kimchi, and the garlic-infused gyoza. The draft beer was refreshing, the kimchi was delicious, and I also ordered a just-right portion of Hormone Miso Stir-Fry. The garlic-infused gyoza arrived, and I used the spicy chili oil provided. I noticed there were two types of chili oil, and I used the one in front. It was spicy, and I saw that a new label had been added. I also had two glasses of white wine. I added another glass and ordered an additional portion of the garlic-infused gyoza. The garlic-infused gyoza was fantastic. To finish, I had a highball. I left feeling completely satisfied.
