I had Peking Duck separately from the course, and it was very delicious. Su Xiang Restaurant Chen used to be a very spicy Sichuan cuisine restaurant, but since the chef changed, dinner was not spicy except for the Mapo Tofu. It was delicious, and I only took a picture of the Peking Duck.

I visited the restaurant on a Sunday at 7pm without a reservation and was seated right away. We ordered a la carte dishes to share between two people. Here are my thoughts on the dishes we tried: - Seafood salad: The dressing with leek oil was delicious, and the seafood was fresh and satisfying. There was a good amount of cilantro in it, so if you're not a fan, it's best to check beforehand. - Braised shark fin with crab meat: The flavor and texture were amazing, and we finished it quickly. Highly recommended for those who enjoy soup dishes. - Stir-fried black wagyu beef and bell peppers: This dish, similar to shredded pork with green peppers, had a perfect seasoning and tasted exceptionally good. I'd love to try their version of shredded pork with green peppers next time. - Steamed shrimp dumplings and harumaki dim sum: These are great additional dishes to try. The harumaki was packed with tasty ingredients. - Simmered abalone in soy sauce: The abalone itself was substantial, and the soy sauce-based soup was genius in flavor. I wanted to drink it all but had to stop as the mapo tofu was getting too spicy for me. - Traditional mapo tofu from Sichuan restaurant: It's quite spicy, but if you can handle the heat, I recommend trying it with cold rice for a true Sichuan experience. It's a must-try for those who enjoy the authentic flavors of Sichuan cuisine. The staff were attentive and even brought the dishes to our table before serving them when they noticed us taking photos. I also bought tantanmen noodles as a souvenir, and I'm looking forward to cooking them at home.

One of the top famous chefs in Japan, Chef Chen Kenichi, has his name associated with the Szechwan cuisine restaurant "szechwanrestaurant Chen" located on the 2nd floor of Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel. The restaurant has received a bronze medal on Tabelog and has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants. With almost 100 seats, including private rooms, it is suitable for business dinners. Solo diners are seated at the counter where they can watch the kitchen like a showcase, with flames rising up, creating an immersive experience. Chef Inoue Kazuto graduated from a culinary school and joined the restaurant, winning awards in various competitions, such as the "REDU-35" for his "Red Egg" dish. The chefs, including Chef Komada Kinya, have a keen eye for guests, showing respect and hospitality. I visited for lunch and was served warm jasmine tea for free. The food was delicious, at a level where you would gladly pay for it. I ordered the "Dim Sum Lunch" for 3,795 yen. The winter melon soup was a great start to warm up. The soup had a rich body with various ingredients, providing a hearty and flavorful experience. The fried sea bream was freshly prepared, crispy, and had a delicious taste. The dim sum included steamed and fried items, with a popping texture and explosive shrimp flavor. I chose the "Five-Ingredient Fried Rice" from the 13 rice and noodle options, which was incredibly delicious and simple yet flavorful. The dessert, mango pudding, was topped with chunks of mango, making it a luxurious treat. Overall, I paid 3,795 yen and was fully satisfied with the authentic and delicious experience. I am confident in the restaurant's quality and look forward to trying the full course dinner next time to fully enjoy Szechwan cuisine. The weekday lunch "Service Lunch" is available for 1,898 yen, welcoming solo diners, making it a must-visit when in Shibuya during lunchtime.

Located a 5-minute walk from JR Shibuya Station on the 2nd floor of Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel, "Szechuan Restaurant Chen Shibuya" is a Chinese restaurant that opened in 2001. It is part of the Szechuan Restaurant Group and offers delicious and authentic Szechuan cuisine. I made a reservation for the lunch dim sum course through TableCheck and visited the restaurant on the day. The course details are as follows: - Soup of the day - Dish of the day - Assorted dim sum - Mapo Tofu (served with rice) - Dessert: Mango Pudding The soup of the day was corn and chicken soup, which had a delightful sweetness from the corn and a refreshing taste. It was quite satisfying on its own. The dish of the day was fish fritters, followed by a selection of three elegant and flavorful dim sum. Next came the main dish, Mapo Tofu. I chose Mapo Tofu this time, but there are also options like fried rice and noodle dishes to choose from, which is great. The Mapo Tofu was fantastic - spicy yet refreshing, rich in flavor, and generously portioned for a dim sum course. It was a blissful experience to enjoy such delicious Mapo Tofu to my heart's content. I couldn't help but devour the rice as well! For dessert, I chose Mango Pudding from the options of almond jelly, mango pudding, and tapioca coconut milk. From start to finish, the meal was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the staff's service was impeccable. I highly recommend this place for a tasty Chinese lunch.

We visited with my workplace team! Located on the 2nd floor of Cerulean Tower, we dined at the renowned Chinese restaurant, Chen! We had a dim sum lunch, which was not a set menu but served in a course style, giving a luxurious feel! Ordered menu items included Egg Soup, which was delicious and set high expectations for the rest of the meal. The Daito Fish Oil-Blanched Chicken was fluffy and paired perfectly with the sweet and sour sauce. The dim sum trio consisted of shrimp dumplings with shark fin, seafood dumplings, and corn dumplings - all were delicious, but the corn dumplings were the best! The Hot and Spicy Pork Stir-Fried Rice was a fusion dish of pork stir-fry and fried rice, with a spicy kick that was incredibly tasty! We couldn't stop eating it with a spoon! We finished with Almond Tofu, a refreshing way to end the meal. Although it's a bit pricey, I would like to revisit! Thank you for the meal!

On the 2nd floor of Cerulean Tower, there is a high-end Sichuan cuisine restaurant. Dinner has a sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere, but lunch can be enjoyed in a casual way. The dim sum lunch offers a choice of main dishes with dim sum and appetizers included in a casual course style. I chose my favorite dan dan noodles as the main dish. Each dish was delicious and had a large portion! The main dan dan noodles alone were enough for a full meal with a satisfying amount. The service was smooth and the restaurant was easy to use. I will definitely visit again!

I reserved a lunch course for less than 4,000 yen online. The photos are not all included. The course included appetizers, hot dishes, soup, main course, dessert, tea, and I was completely satisfied. Each dish had a good amount and was well-prepared. The main course was mapo tofu, and I chose mango pudding for dessert. The mapo tofu was spicy and had a rich flavor of oil from being properly cooked. The mango pudding was also rich and delicious. I also tried the almond jelly, which had a strong almond flavor and was quite heavy. The shark fin and seafood soup, as well as the hot dish of fried fish with aromatic sauce, were also very tasty. The seating was spacious, and the staff quickly refilled our tea. Overall, I think it's quite a good deal for less than 4,000 yen.

It was my first time going out with my child in a while. The restaurant was baby-friendly with a baby stroller and high chair available. The cutlery was also provided, which was great. The staff were very kind and helpful when my child started crying. Overall, the hotel was wonderful.

I am on the 2nd floor of Cerulean Tower. I have been coming here regularly for a few years now. I really like the mapo tofu here, and when I feel like trying something else, my wife always shares a little bit of her mapo tofu with me to enjoy. It's always crowded here, but they never give us a hard time even when we bring our kids. In fact, they even make cute steamed buns for them. It's so touching. I always make sure not to disturb others when I bring my kids, but this kind of service is really appreciated.

I had a super delicious special course at Suitsan Restaurant Chin Shibuya store for our regular customer. The private room had a magnificent shark fin displayed. It started with Qingdao beer. The menu included cashew nuts with green tea, steamed eggplant, shark fin soup, wagyu sirloin with green pepper, corn rice, dim sum with truffle xiaolongbao, steamed shrimp dumplings, fried dumplings with scallops, Peking duck, shrimp in chili sauce, sauteed squid with chili, red snapper and corn, crispy plum, mango shaved ice, and fruit. The twist on classic Chinese dishes was fantastic. The rare wagyu sirloin was so tender and delicious. The Peking duck with eggplant paste and basil was a surprising combination that tasted amazing. The shrimp in chili sauce had Échiré butter inside and the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The red snapper wrapped in corn husk was a creative dish requested by a regular customer. Everything was so delicious and satisfying. My favorite was the steamed pork with Sichuan pepper. I would love to visit this restaurant again!

The monthly menu is also posted on Tabelog, and the "Chengdu Course" for May is full of dishes that you definitely want to try! I couldn't resist and decided to visit eagerly in the final week. The traditional Sichuan cuisine, which is a symbol of the late Chef Chen Jianyi, is enhanced by the flexible sensibility of Chef Inoue, who won the Red Egg with "REDU-35", resulting in a refined and sophisticated Sichuan cuisine. The "Chengdu Course" labeled as the 22nd-anniversary course includes: Salad-style Mala amuse-bouche, Creamy shrimp and XO sauce tartare, Kato pork belly shabu-shabu with Shaoxing wine aroma, Squid in white garlic sauce, Black wagyu sirloin with Ching Dao sauce (additional charge), Seasonal Chinese vegetable steamed dish, Kato pork spare ribs in chili sauce with the aroma of Sichuan liquor "Wuliangye", Chinese congee soup with abalone, dried scallops, Jinhua ham, and bird's nest, Sichuan-style mapo tofu, and New almond tofu. Writing about the menu makes me salivate once again at the impressive lineup! Each dish has a familiar taste and you can imagine the flavors, but the satisfaction of having professionals prepare them is undeniable. The Ching Dao sauce, in particular, was a highlight and lived up to the high expectations. The Chinese congee soup was also outstanding with its luxurious ingredients. The wine selection was decent, with some room for improvement in terms of pricing and serving. The service, on the other hand, had some shortcomings such as neglecting to take care of jackets and leaving wine glasses empty. Overall, the food was satisfying despite the standardized hotel dining experience. The proximity to the station is convenient, and I will definitely be checking the monthly menus from now on. Delicious!! The shredded pork with green peppers is amazing!! It's a taste I've never experienced before. Forget about cost performance, you have to try it at least once. The shrimp chili is like a spicy Mos Burger!! That may not sound like a compliment, but some people might agree with it. 😉

I visited the restaurant because I wanted to eat delicious Sichuan cuisine. I made a reservation online in advance. The restaurant is located a few minutes' walk from Shibuya Station West Exit, on the 2nd floor of Cerulean Tower Tokyu Hotel. I ordered the spring lunch course for 6,325 yen (including tax). The menu seems to change regularly. There were many dishes, and as expected of Sichuan cuisine, the flavors were strong. The purple xiaolongbao contained beef. The highlight was definitely the mapo tofu, which had a strong Sichuan pepper flavor. You can have seconds of rice. The drink menu was also extensive, but since tea was included in the course, I think you don't need to order extra. You can choose from three main dishes, and I chose the mapo tofu, but the tantanmen and five-ingredient fried rice also looked appealing. It was nice that the staff brought the next dish at the right timing while observing how we were eating, and the spacious interior made it comfortable to spend time there.
