I tried a mixed ramen with several types of garlic called "Ninniku Zanmai" (950 yen) with extra noodles (100 yen) on this day. I lined up about 15 minutes before the opening, and was the 5th in line. There were about 15 to 20 people lined up by the time the store opened, probably because it was a Sunday. I entered the store, purchased my meal ticket, and sat down. It seemed like they served 4 bowls at a time, so I had to wait for the second round as the 5th person in line. The ramen was served 17 minutes after the opening. I asked for extra toppings. The dish had noodles and vegetables on top of a sauce made with several types of garlic, topped with garlic mayonnaise, and then drizzled with a brown sauce. It was visually appealing and had a junky mixed ramen vibe that I really enjoyed. I also tried adding spicy fried onions and dipping the noodles in the sukiyaki sauce, which was delicious. The dish also had fish powder which added a nice fragrance. The thick noodles were satisfying to eat, and overall, I found the noodles to be delicious. It was a great meal, thank you!

First visit here~! I arrived around 4:40 PM and there were 6-7 people waiting in front of me. I kept thinking about what toppings to get while waiting. I heard the cold noodles were delicious and wanted to try them, but they were just sold out... So I ordered the sesame dipping noodles instead! I got half noodles, garlic and ginger, extra oil, and spicy. The dipping sauce had a nice kick to it and was really delicious!! It wasn't super hot, which was a bit disappointing, but I liked the flavor and the thickness of the noodles. The chashu was also very generous! While eating, I felt like I should have gotten more noodles, but after leaving the restaurant, my stomach started to feel full, so I'll stick with this amount next time (lol).

On Saturday, September 16th at 11:35 am, there was a long line from the store front all the way to the corner after turning at the intersection near Family Mart. Despite the intense heat at the end of this summer, I wanted to try the food since I haven't had it since June 2019. Around 12 pm, I followed the instructions of the staff and went to the ticket machine. I purchased a numbered ticket and a meal ticket for between 1 pm and 2 pm, then left the store. The ticket system seemed a bit confusing for customers who were not regulars, as it seemed to change based on the situation. The nearby Important Cultural Property, the old Maeda residence, was very impressive. I entered the store at 1:05 pm and was called for my meal in about 5 minutes. Having eaten it for the first time in years, my honest impression is that the taste remains unchanged and delicious. The noodles have become thinner and the overall portion size has decreased compared to the early days, but it's just right for me now. Unlike in the past when it was mostly frequented by enthusiasts, there are now various customers coming in. Thank you for the meal.

I finally went to Senrigan, a place I've always wanted to visit! The regular noodle portion is 300g, but I ordered 200g, which is 2/3 of the normal amount. I chose garlic, extra fat, and spicy topping. I also tried their Sukiyaki ramen for the first time, and the Japanese-style seasoning was delicious. The ramen at Senrigan was so tasty that I didn't feel the need to change the flavor at all! I heard their chaashu was good, and it didn't disappoint! Both the soup and chaashu had a sweet flavor, and I enjoyed every bite until the end.

Date of revisit: 09/15/2023 Order: Cold noodles (small portion) for 1,000 yen, with extra garlic, spicy mayonnaise, and extra spice. [Comment] After about a year, I finally had the eagerly awaited first cold noodles of the year at Senrigan. Personally, it is a must-eat dish for me every year. On a side note, I realized that I hadn't posted about last year's cold noodles. Seems like I have a lot of things piling up... Anyway, I visited at 1:00 PM and there were about 8 people waiting outside. However, there were also tickets for specific time slots, so it was hard to gauge the actual wait time. While waiting in line, a sudden heavy rain shower came down. We endured the rain and eventually made it inside the restaurant. Surprisingly, the wait wasn't too long. I was a bit worried about the portion of noodles since I didn't confirm it, but after being seated, I double-checked and then placed my order for a small portion with extra garlic, spicy mayonnaise, and extra spice. The visual presentation was great. It had been a year since I had their cold noodles, and they were still delicious. The refreshing and rich taste of the vegetables is the best part. However, if you add too many vegetables, it can become overwhelming, so I held back. Nevertheless, it truly is a perfectly balanced dish. I am happy to have had the cold noodles for the 2023 season. Despite being within walking distance, it's hard to find time to visit Senrigan. The summer heat is still lingering, but it might be time for chilled noodles soon, so I decided to wait in line. Around 1 PM, there were about 20 people in line. As expected, I waited for about 30 minutes and finally got inside. I ordered the regular chilled noodles with toppings like garlic, ginger, fried tofu, pickled vegetables, and garlic mayo. It was definitely worth the wait! I have to come here at least once a year!

Visited with a friend who is a Ramen Jiro freak. The shop opens at 11:00. Arrived around 10:15 on Saturday and there were already 6 people in line! Met up with my friend at 10:30 and the line had grown to 8 people. The shop has only 12 seats, so we were just able to get in on the first round. Be careful as the way to buy food tickets is different during busy times. We bought food tickets without getting a numbered ticket. And please note that they only serve Hiyashi Chuka for lunch. Got our ramen in about 5 minutes with toppings of garlic, ginger, extra oil, spicy fried garlic, and garlic mayo. Couldn't handle extra vegetables. The noodles were extremely thick and chewy, providing a satisfying meal. The flavor was very intense, making the water taste amazing after finishing the bowl. It was an amazing experience. This is my second time having Chiriman's Hiyashi Chuka this summer (^-^) It was a smaller portion with lots of vegetables, extra pickled ginger, extra mayonnaise, garlic, ginger, sweet pickled ginger, and fried wonton on the side. It had the highest amount of pickled ginger and mayonnaise ever (^^;; The vegetable tower was packed tightly and full. It was the best bowl ever.

On Sunday before the lunch rush, I noticed that there were already about 8 people waiting in line, showing how popular this place is. [Ordered items] - Ramen with half portion of noodles, garlic, ginger, and spicy toppings on the side The soup was exactly to my liking - very rich but not too heavy, and I enjoyed it until the last drop. The half portion of noodles was just right for me. My friend, on the other hand, felt that even with half portion, it was too much for them, so if you have a small appetite, maybe a third of the noodles would be enough. The amount of garlic and ginger was perfect! Having the spicy toppings on the side allowed me to adjust the flavor to my liking and kept the crunchiness, so I highly recommend it! The chashu was thick, tender, and very delicious! I will definitely go back again!!!

I visited after a long time and found that the price had increased to 1,000 yen. As of September 2, 2023, they offer ramen and hiyashi chuka for lunch, and ramen and sesame-flavored tsukemen for dinner. The sesame-flavored tsukemen costs 1,000 yen with all toppings except for extra vegetables. The portion size is still generous. The soup is rich and spicy, with a hint of sesame aroma. I wonder if it's from sesame oil. The chashu is flavorful and tender, making it the best part. Surprisingly, there were many female customers on the day I visited. About half of the customers, including myself, were women. I was surprised. Maybe high-calorie meals are trending now.

Second time having the cold noodles with less vegetables for 1000 yen. Arrived on a weekday at 1:30 PM, with a line of 9 people. Took about 30 minutes to be served. The garlic mayonnaise and sesame dressing really make the vegetables tasty. The noodles are medium-thick and chewy, with a nice texture. The crispy spiced egg and the noodles go well together. The chicken thigh chashu has a citrus flavor. The cold noodles are similar to the base of the bodyguard, but the bodyguard uses pork belly rolls which I prefer.

Chilled Chinese noodles (small 200g) for 1000 yen, additional pork for 130 yen, one extra serving of fat for 170 yen, free toppings except for vegetables, extra plate of fried chicken for 12:45 arrival. There was a line of about 15 people. We were seated at 13:20. The garlic mayo salad is quite flavorful, with a strong garlic mayo base. The garlic and ginger are in paste form and especially the garlic is spicy. The fried chicken has a spicy aroma, crispy texture, and is not as spicy as expected. The noodles are thick and chewy, with a satisfying crunch. The chicken chashu is tender, and the pork shoulder chashu is juicy. On the table, there are condiments like vinegar, broth, shichimi, and pepper.

I visited the restaurant around 1 pm on a weekday, it was my fifth visit. The place was full, with 4 people inside and 3 people waiting outside. The staff confirmed that only cold noodles were available for lunch, which was fine since I came specifically for that. I had already checked beforehand that they only serve cold noodles for lunch, and ramen and spicy tsukemen for dinner. I bought a lunch ticket for 13-14 o'clock and a small portion of cold noodles for 1,000 yen. I was seated after a 15-minute wait, and soon after, I was asked about my preferences and I ordered garlic, karaage, and garlic mayo. It was my first time trying cold noodles. The dish consisted of salad vegetables like shredded daikon, carrot, watercress, and cherry tomatoes, with two slices of chicken chashu. I don't like tomatoes, so I asked for no cherry tomatoes. The noodles were thick and firm, with a good chewy texture. The sauce was not as tangy as typical cold noodles, more like a cold version of abura soba. The combination of crunchy vegetables, crispy karaage, and chewy noodles made for a delicious meal. I enjoyed it thoroughly and finished everything. Maybe I should have asked for extra vegetables. It was a tasty meal!

I have been to this place many times. I have only tried the cold noodles, so I'm not sure if my rating will be helpful. The cold noodles are amazingly delicious. My order is "extra crispy vegetables, extra crispy noodles, separate plate for garlic, no garlic except for garlic, extra sauce". I once ate raw garlic and it made me smell so bad that I haven't ordered it since haha. When you ask for extra vegetables, sometimes you get parts without dressing, but there is sauce at the bottom of the noodles, so you can mix it well and enjoy it until the end. It has a Caesar salad-like flavor, thick noodles, lots of vegetables, and a punch of flavor. This cold noodle dish is unbeatable. By the way, I went on a Thursday around 2 pm this time and there was no line. It's a good time to go. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a popular ramen shop in Yoyogi-Uehara as I heard good things about it. I ordered the regular ramen with extra vegetables, garlic, and fried chicken, and ended up with a ramen tower of bean sprouts. It feels like you're eating bean sprouts for a while. The fried chicken wasn't as spicy as I expected. There are various types of ramen available, but the one here had a strong and unique flavor.

I received a 900 yen ramen. Even though my house is close, I have never tried their cold noodles before, and unfortunately they were sold out that day. So, I settled for their default ramen, which was consistently delicious and very satisfying.

I went to have my first Chilled Chinese noodles of the summer with extras (lots of vegetables, extra pickled ginger, extra mayonnaise, garlic, fresh ginger, and fried garlic on the side). I went during a less crowded time and was able to enjoy the best of the Jiro-style Chilled Chinese noodles. It was really great.

I visited a shop near Komaba Todaimae Station in Tokyo for lunch on a weekday. It is a well-known Jiro-inspired shop. I arrived at 10:30, but there were already about 15 people in line, so I couldn't get in on the first round. They only serve chilled noodles during the summer days. Chilled noodles 1050 yen, additional pork 2 slices 260 yen. I ordered with garlic, ginger, fried garlic on a separate plate, and garlic mayonnaise. It was my first time trying chilled noodles. In conclusion, the taste was delicious, but I didn't like the firmness of the noodles. They use the same thick noodles as in ramen, but they are tightly squeezed with water, so they have a strong elasticity. It felt like chewing on rubber, and I struggled to eat it. I added pork, but since it was served cold, its goodness was not fully expressed, which I personally found a bit of a waste. I think their ramen is definitely good, so I will make sure to go back at night next time!

First time this season! Everything was delicious! I ordered extra garlic mayonnaise on the side. Arrived on Sunday at 10:30 and there were already about 20 people in line. It's as busy as ever. I was prepared to wait for 2 hours! Shortly after entering the restaurant, there was suddenly a heavy rainstorm! It was close! By the time we finished eating, the rain had stopped. I want to eat here about 2 more times this season.
