This time, we visited "Pizza Strada" located about a 3-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station. This shop is known for serving the best pizza in Azabu-Juban and is highly praised by locals. The name of the shop, "Strada," means "road" in Italian, and it is a place where people can rest on the road where they intersect, embodying the idea of a place where people want to stop by when passing by. The pizza here is made with carefully selected wheat flour and natural sea salt from Okinawa, and it is fermented for about 30 hours. This results in a pizza with a unique dough that brings out the full flavor and taste of the wheat. The pizza here is of the crispy type, baked at a high temperature for a short time to ensure that the carbon dioxide generated during fermentation does not collapse. The perfect combination of a crispy crust and a chewy interior makes this pizza a must-try. Each dough is manually stretched and combined with ingredients, olive oil is poured all at once and baked, creating a sizzling sound when cut. The lightness of Strada's dough is particularly surprising, and the burnt edge adds a nice touch of saltiness. The balance of hot oil, cheese, tomato, and basil flavors was excellent. The ingredients are sourced with great care, using tomato sauce from the Campania region of Italy, mini tomatoes soaked in juice, and only extra virgin olive oil. The mozzarella cheese is from the birthplace of mozzarella, Caserta, and the garlic is from Aomori Prefecture. The basil is freshly picked from Okinawa. The wood-fired oven uses hard woods such as oak, beech, and cherry, maintaining a constant high temperature of 500 degrees. By adding cedar wood chips, flames are instantly generated, and salt is sprinkled to create a fire-like cooking experience. This method helps retain the moisture in the dough, creating a crispy and chewy texture. Overall, Pizza Strada is a place with a strong commitment to quality ingredients and a dedication to making delicious pizza.【Menu】- Pizza Margherita 2,180 yen (tax included) - Meatball Tomato Stew 480 yen/piece x 2 pieces (tax included) - Scamorza Iron Plate Grilled 1,280 yen (tax included) - Asahi Extra Gold 940 yen (tax included) - Lemonade 780 yen (tax included)

The restaurant was fully booked. The marinated mushroom appetizer was excellent. The meatballs were consistently delicious. I ordered the Margherita pizza with olive toppings. Everything was delicious and I would like to come back again. I think it would be lovely to bring a dog and sit on the terrace!

I was able to enter the restaurant on a holiday night with a same-day reservation! I really wanted to eat pizza, so I was grateful. For the appetizer, I ordered the fried chicken gizzards since it was said to have a small portion. They were crispy and had just the right amount of volume. A little more salt and pepper would have been nice. I chose a Margherita pizza in the middle, and the surrounding part was Quattro Formaggi. I was surprised that the Quattro part had more volume, but the Margherita was actually more delicious!! Next time, I will just have one Margherita pizza. Overall, the pizza dough was incredibly chewy and light. The edges were a bit crispy, and the dough really complemented the toppings, it was wonderful. Also, all the staff were very friendly. As I mentioned multiple times, next time I will just have one Margherita pizza.

I went to the restaurant with two colleagues from work. I had heard good things about it beforehand, but the pizza was even more delicious than I expected. The white wine we had together was also very tasty, and we ended up drinking too much. It's a highly recommended restaurant that lives up to its reputation as a top-notch establishment!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Made a reservation by phone two days in advance. It's great that you can reserve for lunch. Many upscale families and couples. Ordered Margherita and Bismarck pizzas. The taste was, of course, delicious, with a fluffy crust that was quite tasty. It's fun to see them making the pizzas right in front of you at the counter.

I was relieved that the Margherita pizza made with buffalo mozzarella was well done. I posted photos of the ingredients to show that the quality is reliable. The fact that the cheese comes from Caserta in southern Italy caught my attention. It may be inconvenient to access from Naples, but the huge world heritage site, Caserta Palace, is famous. It appeared in Mission Impossible as a stand-in for the Vatican. The espresso is like Nespresso, but better than being served bad coffee made from old beans at other places.

There was a large oven in front of me, and I was seated at a counter seat with a great atmosphere. I ordered a balsamic ham salad and a Margherita pizza. I enjoyed the ham salad with a non-alcoholic beer while watching my own pizza and others slowly baking in the oven. The balsamic salad had a unique taste that I had never experienced before, and it was delicious. The highlight was the pizza, truly deserving of being one of the top 100 restaurants! The tomato sauce, toppings, and crust were all incredibly delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant, along with the diverse crowd including foreigners and international couples, was lively and vibrant. They open at 12 pm and quickly fill up, so it's best to make a reservation in advance. The outdoor terrace seating is also recommended for the evening.

I made a reservation and arrived at 12:00. This is my fourth visit. The freshly baked pizza crust is very delicious. The Margherita pizza with arugula was priced at 2,680 yen, and they were very generous with the arugula topping. It had a nice bitter taste and a crispy texture. The Bismarck pizza priced at 2,580 yen had the perfect balance of saltiness with the prosciutto and runny egg. I also ordered a 1L bottle of Acqua Panna for 1,180 yen.

While waiting for the Margherita pizza, I had a delicious prosciutto and arugula salad dressed with balsamic vinaigrette. The dressing was already mixed in, so the arugula was perfectly seasoned and paired wonderfully with the prosciutto. The Margherita pizza was made right in front of us, with the dough being stretched out and toppings added before being placed in the wood-fired oven. In just a minute, a piping hot pizza was ready. It was impossible for it not to be delicious! If you're dining with two people, ordering two pizzas for lunch might be too much, so I recommend pairing it with a salad!

The terrace is dog-friendly, so make sure to make a reservation as it gets crowded. The octopus and celery marinade and the squid fritters were both fresh and delicious. The Margherita pizza had incredibly tasty cheese that I couldn't resist. The staff were friendly and even greeted my dog warmly, so I definitely want to come back when I crave pizza.

It was very delicious! The Margherita pizza tasted just like the ones I had in Italy, with thin crust and fresh ingredients. I enjoyed watching the staff make the pizzas at the counter. I recommend trying the classic menu items. The rest of the menu had more of an American feel.

On my birthday, I wanted to eat Italian food, so I visited this place. It's a pizza restaurant with a great oven, and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. It was a bit hot due to the season, but it became comfortable as the sun went down, so there was no problem sitting on the terrace. The extra cold beer tasted even better. For appetizers, I ordered Caprese and lasagna, and for pizza, I got the Romana and Margherita with buffalo mozzarella. The Caprese had incredibly sweet tomatoes and was delicious, and the lasagna was especially amazing. The cheese was so tasty that it was impressive. The pizza had a thin crust but was rich in saltiness, just right. The sauce was very thick and the cheese and toppings were delicious. I think it's a high-level pizza, even among those in Tokyo. Personally, I really liked it and would love to visit again.

This is the best pizza in Tokyo! Whenever I want to eat pizza, I always come here. The flavors are so deep, it's like drinking a beverage. I think it's rare to find a pizza that can be eaten like this. My go-to order is half Salsiccia and half Margherita with smoked cheese and olive toppings. It changes the concept of pizza.

The pizza restaurant in Asakusa is very reasonable and you can enjoy authentic wood-fired pizza. They also have a wide variety of craft beers which is enjoyable. The terrace seating is great, especially during this time of year, so I would like to try sitting on the terrace next time from early evening.

I forgot to take a picture of the food. The homemade lemonade is a must-try, as well as the homemade ginger ale! Of course, the pizza is the main highlight and the crust is fantastic. The appetizers and meatballs are also delicious. I ordered the arugula salad, but I'm not sure what type of arugula it was - it had a wild and robust flavor. I prefer a more delicate arugula, so I think I'll skip it next time.

At this time of year, pizza on the terrace is the best. Next to my apartment is Pizzeria Strada, always full, so I made a reservation and went tonight. Pizza always wins. Red wine is Zinfandel. Arugula salad. The terrace seat is the best seat. Terrace seats at this time of year are the best. Pizza nearby. Azabu-Juban old man. Azabu-Juban gourmet. Minato-ku old man. Visited with friends on a certain night. The terrace is actually the best, but it was humid during the rainy season, so we played it safe and reserved a table inside the restaurant. The small interior was almost full by 7 pm. This place is quite famous, listed in the top 100 on Tabelog, Bib Gourmand, and various pizza rankings. We ordered the "Garlic Shrimp Pizza" for 3,080 yen, "Bismarck" for 2,580 yen, "Jamon Serrano and Buffalo Mozzarella" for 2,380 yen, "Meatball Tomato Stew" for 1,920 yen (4 pieces), "Fried Squid" for 980 yen, and "French Fries" for 840 yen. We also had a couple of beers and two bottles of wine, but I forgot the brand (^_^;). Everything we ate was delicious. The salty base of the pizza was just to our liking, with a unique texture mixing firmness and softness. The Garlic Shrimp Pizza was so delicious, we could have eaten as many slices as they brought. The perfectly salty Jamon Serrano, meaty meatballs, and crispy Fried Squid were all as tasty as rumored. The service was friendly and the staff knew when to clear the plates. The only downside was that we were seated right by the entrance, so the staff standing right next to us was a bit off-putting, but there was nowhere else to sit.

My favorite pizza place in Tokyo. The crust is really crispy and the tomato sauce is amazing. I can eat as many slices as I want. The drinks are a bit overpriced, and other dishes are not that impressive. It's a great place for a quick and satisfying pizza lunch. I always end up eating more than one slice. The staff who make the pizzas are all very nice.

I went to a restaurant in the back alley of Asakusa for their terrace, although I didn't specify when making a reservation. I ended up sitting at the counter inside, where I could see the pizza being made and baked in the oven, which was also enjoyable. The arugula and cheese salad, as well as the calamari fritters that I had decided to eat, had a light and delicious batter. The recommended pizza of the day had a chewy crust that was so tasty that I ended up finishing every last bite, which I usually don't do. Overall, it was a restaurant that I would like to visit again.

I visited for two weeks in a row. The reason is that I became addicted to the pizza "Strada". The sweetness of the cherry tomatoes is exquisite and I could eat as much as I wanted. The "meatball tomato stew" that I tried for the first time was also excellent. It was fully booked both days, so reservations are essential on weekends.

【2023 Pizza Top 100】Located about a 4-minute walk from Azabu-Juban Station, this Italian restaurant requires reservations. By 7:00 pm, the indoor seats were almost full, but there were some available seats on the terrace due to the strong wind. The casual atmosphere inside the restaurant allows you to enjoy watching the process of making and baking the pizza right in front of you. The key point of their pizza is that they intentionally do not remove a lot of carbon dioxide and bake it at high temperatures to bring out a slightly burnt aroma, resulting in a pizza with a good balance of saltiness and fragrance. The other dishes were also delicious, and personally, I recommend the "24-month aged Jamon Serrano and buffalo mozzarella assortment for 2360 yen." The Jamon Serrano, which is rare in Italian cuisine, had a really delicious meaty flavor. Overall, the pizza, other dishes, and wine were consistently delicious, and the total cost for one person was around 7000 yen. For this taste and price in Azabu-Juban, the satisfaction level is high. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ✨
