I was supposed to write up to 5 reviews for one store, but I got so excited and ended up writing 6 reviews already... I will definitely continue to use this store in the future, so I'll keep it light here. On February 3, this is currently my favorite chocolate shop. For Setsubun, instead of Ehomaki, I bought Brassode Chocolata (Chocolate Swiss Roll) (1728). It was delicious. The chocolate was rich but not too heavy, and I finished it in one go. I can't really put it into words, but it was just so delicious. The wrapping was lovely, and when I think about everything, the price seems reasonable. It could be a good gift too! It comes with cacao nibs, so after cutting it, I sprinkle them on top and enjoy them together. It adds a nice texture and flavor accent. For this year's Valentine's Day chocolates, I bought KAKAWA (5400) which allows you to compare 12 different origins, and Small Bear (2916) which was a leftover from Christmas Bear. I haven't tried them yet, so I will add more details later. When I visited Amour du Chocolat at Nihonbashi Takashimaya, I tried their exclusive Blanco Cacao (550) which had raspberry sauce on top. It was delicious. But I felt a bit lonely eating it alone, and guilty. I love it so much, so I will continue to visit often. I hope to treat myself to Ibiza someday. KAKAWA's notes: Mexico, Ecuador, Venezuela, Cuba, Santo Domingo, Peru, Sao Tome, Ghana, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Madagascar, Tanzania. Surprisingly, my favorite was Cuba! In 2023, I relied heavily on Kakao Sanpaka. Firstly, at the end of January, I bought 4 Rajolas and Heritage 25 (a set with all Rajolas flavors) at the main store. Heritage 25 was for my husband for Valentine's Day! With this, he can find out which chocolate he likes. Next, in early February, I tried the soft serve (605) at Nihonbashi Takashimaya event. It was delicious! I wanted to buy another Rajolas, but they were sold out, so I walked to the main store and successfully purchased one. Furthermore, in early March, I wanted to send a gift to a friend, so I sent a Heart Tablet to the main store. I hope she likes it! I have been greatly helped, so I sent my gratitude! For home use, I bought Dark and Ruby Rich Tarts, each for 540 yen. They are delicious, but considering the price, I feel a bit unsatisfied. On March 12, I visited with my husband and bought a half-size Brassode Chocolata (1296). After returning home, we split it in half and enjoyed it. It had cacao nibs and was bitter and delicious. When I mentioned that I had eaten it instead of Ehomaki for Setsubun a few years ago, my husband seemed surprised as he didn't remember. I might be visiting Sanpaka too often lately (laughs). I always get asked about the Brix Square point card, but I don't have one so I say I don't have it. With this frequency, I think I should have gotten one, but ultimately, it doesn't make much sense since I won't be going for a while... I'm still enjoying the Valentine's Heritage 25, it's really good! You can clearly see the differences in each, and it's fun. It also helps me confirm my taste preferences. Personally, I'm thinking of finding my favorite chocolate and buying it next, but my husband thinks it's better to eat these various types again next time (laughs). Our perspectives don't quite align.
