This place, which is popular among foreigners and tourists, has table seating. In one word, this restaurant is... terrible. The entrance is messy, the service is slow, and when I ordered extra noodles, they took more than 3 minutes to bring them out while other ramen dishes were being served to customers one after another. Hey! Extra noodles should be served quickly because they don't taste good when the soup gets cold. I'm not saying they should prioritize extra noodles, but they should bring them out promptly! I complained to the staff about the delay, and thankfully the manager provided excellent service. If it wasn't for that, I would have given this place a 2.5 rating, but because the ramen at Ichiran is delicious and the manager was great, I'll give it a barely passable 3-star rating.

After finishing work in Miyazaki today, I flew to Haneda Airport and took a train back home. I got off at Asakusa Station on the way. Let's replenish our fluids. I went to "Ichiran" near Asakusa Station. The counter seats were full, so I had a bottled beer at a table. It was Asahi Super Dry. I was given a buzzer and went to pick up my order, cafeteria-style. There were many foreign groups there. They were having lively conversations while eating ramen. I hope they are not being too loud. The ramen was stable and reliable. But it felt slightly disappointing compared to the usual taste. Maybe it was because of the slight delay in picking it up? Or perhaps it was because of the noisy group seating? I think solo diners should sit at the counter. Thank you for the meal. "Ichiran Asakusa Store" 1-1-16 Asakusa, Taito-ku, Tokyo HK Asakusa Building B1F 10:00-22:00 (L.O. 21:30)

This restaurant has both table seating and counter seating. The food seemed saltier than usual, and there was a variation in taste at this location. We ordered the same seasoning, but as you can see from the red secret sauce, there was inconsistency. It was crowded, so maybe it couldn't be helped, but I would have been happier if they had made it as specified. It was delicious, but... you know.

Foreign tourists are lining up, and it is very popular! There are many famous ramen shops in Japan. The atmosphere inside the shop is lively, with a choice of table seats or the famous individual seating option. It's great to be able to customize your ramen and enjoy reading some interesting facts while waiting for your order. The ramen tastes even better when you eat it while learning about it.

I still love Ichiran! This place is near Senso-ji Temple and is also a tourist spot, but surprisingly it might be a hidden gem. The charm of the Asakusa branch is that in addition to the usual counter seats, there are also table seats with a street food atmosphere! And it's nice that you can choose between the two. On this day, I sat at the counter! I tried the level 10 spiciness for the first time, and surprisingly, it was manageable. However, I feel like I might be killing the deliciousness of Ichiran by making it too spicy... The rich soup is so delicious that even if you like spicy food, it's best not to overdo it. I want to enjoy it, so my ideal level would be around 4 spiciness. The noodles should be firm, the flavor should be strong, very rich in garlic, with chashu, and I like to have both negi options in the middle. I wonder if many people are unaware of this? Ah, I really love it. I tried adding the Oskaran acidity for 130 yen for the first time, but personally, I didn't think it was necessary. It's worth trying different things, so go ahead and experiment! I'll go back to find my perfect bowl (*´ω`*)

I finally had my first experience at Ichiran. I love Hakata ramen, so I knew I would love it for sure, and it was delicious. The red powder was tasty, and this time I chose level 5, but next time I will go for level 10. I always thought there would be long lines, but we didn't have to wait much to get in. It was in Asakusa, so there were many foreign visitors as well.

There was a request from a guest to go to Ichiran, so we went to the Asakusa branch. It had been a long time since I last visited Ichiran, but I had a good impression of it. The Asakusa branch was extremely crowded, so I recommend going there when you have plenty of time. There is always a long line, regardless of the time of day. It mainly attracts inbound tourists. There are many counter seats and tables at Ichiran, which is unique to the restaurant. The menu consists only of natural tonkotsu ramen. The prices are quite high, even when considering toppings and portion sizes. It's impressive how they can still attract such long lines with their high level of popularity both domestically and internationally. You can customize your ramen according to your preferences at Ichiran. I opted for more of the secret sauce. The soup is easy to eat without any strong flavors, making it appealing to a wide range of people, but for those who really love tonkotsu flavor, it may feel lacking. I added more secret sauce to make it spicier. I also enjoyed adding extra noodles and vinegar!

So, I visited the famous Ichiran in Asakusa while transferring from the Tobu line to the subway. I don't really like Ichiran because it's expensive, but it's convenient from the station and you can eat quickly even if you're short on time. I had the regular ramen without extra noodles, and the Ichiran Asakusa store was surprisingly spacious with tables like a regular ramen shop. Although there is a counter for concentrated flavors at the back, I didn't even have time to go there, and I don't mind being in the spotlight, so I just sat at a regular table and slurped up the noodles. The tonkotsu ramen at Ichiran tastes the same no matter where you eat it in Japan. Thank you for the meal.

I have been to Ichiran Asakusa several times. I purchased a ramen ticket with the following preferences: richness: rich, thickness: regular, garlic: a little, green onions: plenty, chashu: yes, special sauce: regular, noodle firmness: firm. The tonkotsu ramen had a mild smell and the thin noodles made it easy to eat. The combination with green onions was also good. It lived up to its reputation as a famous shop and I enjoyed the consistent deliciousness. It has a light feel, so it is recommended as a satisfying end to a drink.

I had a slightly late dinner at a restaurant located underground along Marumichi Street. As soon as I entered, I found a street stall-like atmosphere, with a counter seat area at the back that resembled Ichiran. I ordered a simple ramen dish, and although I requested it to be firm, it turned out softer than expected. Nonetheless, it was delicious.

There is not only a typical Ichiran-style counter, but also tables that can be used by families. Similar to a family ramen chain, you can choose the firmness of the noodles and the richness of the soup. The fact that they have a recommended option makes ordering easy and increases the likability. I will definitely come back.

I visited Ichiran in Asakusa for the first time in a while. The interior of the restaurant has become quite calm due to the coronavirus pandemic. This branch has about 10 counter seats with partitions, as well as table seats with a street food vibe. I ordered the ramen with egg and extra noodles set, which cost around 1,300 yen. I forgot about the red secret sauce, which has a decent level of spiciness (not too strong). The noodles were cooked to a normal firmness, although I requested them to be a bit harder. It might depend on the individual store.

The ramen on the first floor was really delicious... I was honestly surprised. The soup was just right, not too thick or too thin. It perfectly matched the thin noodles. I usually prefer thick noodles, but I think thin noodles are a must with this soup. I had heard they offered extra noodles, but one bowl was enough to fill me up. The contactless service during the pandemic was also great. I will definitely visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I was confused because the entrance was different, but when I went in, there were tables where you could order different things. I wanted to try the spicy char siu, but they didn't have it even though I saw a hack online. However, the food was still delicious, so I ended up enjoying it.

I suddenly felt like eating. I tried both the Negi (green onion) and Negi (leek), but they didn't overwhelm the dish. I added chashu (roast pork) and rice to make a porridge, and it was delicious. This place doesn't have solo seating. The ingredients were fresh. Thank you for the meal.

Visited for the first time during the day on a regular weekday. The restaurant is spacious, but due to the decrease in tourists caused by the coronavirus, there was only one other customer besides me. They operate on a ticket system, and you can choose the firmness of the noodles. It had been a while since I last visited. This is a well-known shop that needs no introduction. With plenty of refined ramen shops in Tokyo, whether you choose to visit this shop with this quality at this price is up to you. - Order: - Tonkotsu Ramen - Extra noodles - Visit: December 13, 2021 (Monday) at 12:00 PM - Reservation: None - Waiting time: None - Location: 1-minute walk from Asakusa Station - Number of people: 1 - Cost: Approximately 1,200 yen per person

My first time at Ichiran. Located near Asakusa Station, I went to the store underground. I bought a meal ticket at the entrance. There are table seats as well, but when it comes to Ichiran, it's all about the flavor concentration counter! There are acrylic dividers on both sides. In front, there is a curtain that can be raised and lowered. You order by writing down the firmness of the noodles, richness of the soup, etc. on a sheet of paper. After a while, the curtain opens and the ramen arrives. I had the Natural Tonkotsu Ramen for 980 yen. The staff's overly polite service felt like a performance. The tonkotsu soup with ultra-thin noodles. They use a special blend of wheat for the noodles. The noodles mix well with the soup, which has a smooth flavor. I added the "red secret sauce" to the soup halfway through for a change in taste. The spiciness and depth added a new dimension, making it enjoyable to eat. Oh, I finished all the noodles. I might try the extra noodles next time.

Saturday, July 2021. 11:50. My husband and I visited Ichiran in Asakusa, wanting to use the voucher we got from the Ichiran app. Ichiran is famous for its flavor concentration counter. Since this branch in Asakusa has table seats, we thought it would be easier to share toppings here, so we chose this location. Ichiran has been increasing its prices rapidly and has now become a high-end ramen place. Because of this, even though we love the taste, our visits have decreased significantly. My husband, who is from Fukuoka, also compared the old and current prices and lamented that it's no longer easy to visit. (It seems that the prices have become the same in both the Tokyo and Fukuoka areas.) Let's enjoy our visit after a long time! We chose a table seat. (About 40% of the table seat area was occupied.) On the table, there were alcohol, wet towels, chopsticks, order sheets, and pens, and tissue boxes were hanging on the wall. Wireless chimes were also available, but the staff were constantly attentive. (The water glasses were large, with plenty of ice, so refreshing! The water quality was good, so delicious!) The staff consisted of 80% foreigners and 20% Japanese, but all of them provided kind and polite service, which was surprising! (Especially the politeness of the foreign staff was amazing!) [Food Review] - Ramen 980 yen (tax included) The default toppings are green onions, chashu, garlic, and secret sauce only. I love the flavor of Ichiran, but for me, it's too rich, so I ordered the taste intensity - light, richness - light, garlic - 1 clove, green onions - both white and green, chashu - yes, red secret sauce - basic, noodle firmness - firm. My husband prefers rich and intense flavors, so he ordered the taste intensity - rich, richness - rich, garlic - 1 clove, green onions - both white and green, chashu - yes, red secret sauce - basic, noodle firmness - basic. I tried "light" taste for the first time, but it was a bit too light for me. I think my preferred taste intensity is somewhere between "light" and "basic." It seems that it's also possible to get a free "soup refill," so I might consult with the staff next time. The richness - light was the right choice! The thin, firm noodles with a sharp bite were delicious as always! The chashu was thin and tough, not really to my liking, but it might go well with this type of rich ramen? We used the Ichiran app voucher to get green onions, wood ear mushrooms, soft-boiled salted egg, seaweed (2 sheets per plate), and extra noodles! The wood ear mushrooms paired perfectly with the ramen! The seaweed was also great! My husband said the soft-boiled salted egg is meant to "reset your mouth," so you eat it with salt without putting it in the ramen. However, I soaked it in the ramen and ate it. The perfect soft-boiled egg was delicious, mixing with the ramen broth. If you have trouble peeling the provided soft-boiled egg, they will replace it with a new one! We ordered extra noodles with "more soup." We usually order it with "less soup," but this time, with the base ramen being light in taste, the extra noodles with more soup was perfect! I ended up eating most of the extra noodles without putting them in the soup. Delicious! The taste was still delicious as ever, and the service was excellent. It was a satisfying experience. Thank you!

It's a bit late to say this, but the counter at Ichiran is perfect for the current times! Not having to talk or make eye contact with the staff is great for solo dining. It's a spot where even women can go alone without any worries. The ramen is the only option, and being able to carefully consider the thinness of the noodles and seasoning at the table is fantastic. The taste is also delicious. I will definitely visit again.

"I decided to go to Ichiran because they say ramen is the best cure for a hangover. I added seaweed and egg toppings to my ramen, which ended up costing over 1,000 yen. It felt a bit expensive, but the soup here is just so delicious. I guess it's worth the price for something so tasty. I usually prefer thick noodles, but I really like the thin noodles at Ichiran. Adding some spice to make it a bit spicy enhances the flavor even more. With this quality, it's no wonder why tourists from overseas come to Ichiran. It would be even better if it was a bit cheaper though."
