I went there! I've always been curious about the 15,600 yen per person all-you-can-eat crab feast. It was a big splurge! They offer a 90-minute all-you-can-eat feast of three major crabs from Hokkaido: king crab, snow crab, and hairy crab. I indulged in comparing and enjoying each one. The snow crab was sweet, the hairy crab had delicious crab miso, and the king crab had a satisfying texture. I was so focused on peeling the crabs that I couldn't even finish my drink that I ordered separately. Time flew by so fast while I was engrossed in eating at the all-you-can-eat feast. I would love to treat myself to this luxury again if I have the chance.

Asakusa "Whole Hokkaido" offers a 90-minute all-you-can-eat snow crab course for 9,108 yen, and a 120-minute all-you-can-drink alcohol course for 2,200 yen. In recent years, our office's New Year's party has revolved around all-you-can-eat crab, but the usual place in Ueno Okachimachi, Gotto, is closed for the New Year. Last year's crab feast in Shinjuku has also closed down. So, we found this place. You can also add all-you-can-drink to your meal. The all-you-can-eat crab course includes thick snow crab legs without the shell, and you also get crab cream croquettes, salad, crab porridge, and ice cream. However, the main attraction is the crab. We enjoyed carefully peeling and eating the meaty legs, including the claws, from the half crab served. Sweet and delicious. I quietly devoured 6 or 7 half crabs in total. A satisfying crab feast. It's a luxury treat. Crab prices have been rising in recent years, but I will work hard so I can come back next year for more.

It was quite expensive but I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was for entertaining clients. *There are hardly any photos (m(_ _)m) Three grilled hairy crab shells, grilled king crab, grilled snow crab, a whole shoulder of hairy crab sashimi, three-point assortment of scallops, scallop steak x2, crab cream croquette x2, crab tempura, king crab tempura, snow crab butter beer, lots of highballs, oolong tea. It was a bit of a mistake to order grilled crab all at once, but the king crab had a satisfying texture, and I also enjoyed the other two varieties a lot (╹◡╹) The interior of the restaurant had the atmosphere of a typical izakaya, and the service from what seemed to be foreigners was very polite and good. I think I will visit again.

I had never seen their lunch menu before, even though I pass by here often. Next to it is Marugoto Hokkaido Asakusa Kokusai-dori Branch, where I had visited during a limited period, offering a lunch menu. Since I had never been to Marugoto Hokkaido Asakusa Branch, I decided to go in. The restaurant is located on the second floor, so I went up the stairs. Upon entering and informing the staff of my visit, I was seated at a table. The customers seemed to be mainly tourists visiting Asakusa, with some local workers as well. It appears that tourists use this place more for drinking rather than for lunch. Interestingly, even though both branches are close by, Marugoto Hokkaido Asakusa Kokusai-dori Branch serves Genghis Khan, while Marugoto Hokkaido Asakusa Branch is a Hokkaido-style izakaya. [About the Food] ★ Hokkai Zangi Set Meal 935 yen tax included I chose the Zangi set meal from the various lunch options. The dish arrived on a tray in a few minutes. The Hokkaido-style fried chicken, Zangi, had a flavor that seemed more universally appealing. The miso soup was sweet and delicious. The mini salad and pickles were a nice addition. It was a satisfying meal.

I had a lunch set called Crab and Salmon Roe Bowl, or something like that. It cost just under 1,700 yen. It came with salad, crab vinegar, miso soup, and pickles, and there was plenty of crab, salmon roe, and salmon in the bowl. I felt satisfied and thought that eating a lot of crab at a conveyor belt sushi restaurant would be even more expensive.

I was drawn in by the name and tried dishes such as crab, fish, bacon, all of which were mostly made with ingredients from Hokkaido and were very delicious. I was able to enjoy the taste of three different types of crab! The crab tasted even better when dipped in a special salt and vinegar sauce-like condiment. The icefish had a firm texture and was very satisfying to eat. There was also a bacon that tasted so good it made me question if it was really bacon! It had a flavor similar to wild boar meat. There were also two types of all-you-can-eat menus available! I would love to go back to eat there again next time.

The food didn't have much substance considering the price.

The crabs are huge! The all-you-can-eat lasts for 60 minutes, so there isn't much time to try a variety of dishes, but I think the snow crab all-you-can-eat is sufficient. At the end, they serve crab porridge, so I recommend adding lots of crab meat that you've shredded yourself to make a hearty crab porridge!

Visited for lunch on a Saturday. The restaurant was empty, with only the two of us as customers. The atmosphere was somewhat unique. The menu prices seemed high, not like the usual lunch prices at izakayas. Perhaps the ingredients are of high quality or something else... I had a feeling it might be a disappointment. We ordered Genghis Khan (grilled lamb), grilled Atka mackerel, mini seafood bowl, and a draft beer. The Genghis Khan was tender and delicious. My doubts were unfounded. The Atka mackerel was okay. The seafood bowl was a bit overpriced, but understandable since it had salmon roe. It's not a bad restaurant, but not ideal for lunch, and the cost performance is not great for an izakaya at night. Just as I was thinking this, a group of Asian tourists entered. It seemed like they came on a tour bus. Ah, so these are the main customers for lunch here.

I visited a crab buffet. I chose the snow crab course as the other crab options were expensive. The crab had varying levels of hardness and saltiness, but I enjoyed them all in silence. The time limit was 90 minutes, with the last order being at 60 minutes. We were so focused on eating that we didn't even touch the drinks, salad, or cream croquettes we ordered. The food was served promptly after ordering, and the staff were attentive in changing our crab shells and providing fresh towels. We enjoyed 7 servings of crab legs between the two of us (56 legs!). The crab was delicious both grilled and boiled. The seafood was fresh and it was a good restaurant.
