Cost performance is great! A place where you can have a substantial lunch. I made a reservation around 11:30 on the same day. The table seats were fully booked, so I reserved a seat at the counter. The restaurant was small with about 4 four-person tables, 2 counter seats, and a few terrace seats. Since lunch reservations were available from Set B (2500 yen) and above, I ordered Set B. The set meal included the following: - Appetizer - Focaccia - Pasta - Dessert - Coffee or Tea The appetizer consisted of 3 slices of prosciutto with plenty of vegetables, which was very satisfying. The dressing with garlic and vinegar was delicious, and I wanted to have it at home as well. The prosciutto was also excellent, and I thought I would like to have it with wine next time. For the pasta, I chose the oil pasta with salsiccia and komatsuna. I was expecting a pasta with sausage since salsiccia means sausage, but it had chunks of meat more like a hamburger. The pasta was not as outstanding as the famous pasta shops in Takatsuki, but it was still delicious. The dessert included berry gelato, caramel roll cake, and fruits, which was also very fulfilling. Especially the gelato was rich and seemed to be of a higher quality than what comes with the set. The salad, main course (pasta), and gelato were all substantial dishes that could be served as individual items, so I thought 2500 yen was cheap. Other good points besides the food were: - The kitchen was well-organized and clean, showing good hygiene management. - The timing of serving the dishes was just right. There were five staff members for a relatively spacious restaurant, so they seemed to grasp the timing of each customer's meal. I would like to go back for dinner next time. Thank you for the meal.

The restaurant served delicious food with a lot of hospitality. The taste balance and prices were excellent, and it is a trattoria loved by locals in the quiet area of Myogadani. I would like to visit this restaurant again. Thank you for the meal.

I felt like it was definitely necessary to make a reservation at this restaurant during the cherry blossom viewing season. I visited here after a leisurely stroll, and enjoyed delicious food in a bright and sunny glass-walled restaurant. The wine also paired well with the food. The terrace seats were bustling with a lovely atmosphere!

When it comes to cherry blossom viewing spots in Myogadani, Hanayama-zaka is a must-visit. Tantaro-va is a great place to fully enjoy the cherry blossoms there. Although the restaurant is usually busy, it's especially crowded during lunchtime in this season, so I made a reservation and visited. I ordered the B lunch set (appetizer with 3 types of Italian ham and salad, today's pasta, assorted desserts, bread, and coffee). The restaurant specializes in Italian regional cuisine, but what I appreciated the most was the use of fresh ingredients. Just having the salad made me feel happy. It's also great that you can bring your own wine for a corkage fee. Despite the short 90-minute stay, I had a fulfilling and enjoyable time. Thank you for the meal.

For the past 20 years, I received an invitation from Master Itaihan for a Maker's Dinner, and it was my first time in 5 months at Tantaroba. We had a wine pairing with Alberto Baralin (formerly Cassina Baralin) wines. We started with a sparkling wine made from 100% Chardonnay from the Barolo village, which was a unique experience. Among the antipasti, the deer liver hamburger with juniper berry leaves stuck in it was exceptionally delicious. It was not just a casual conversation about hoping for Barolo, but a true Barolo festival with three different Nebbiolo wines, including Lange. Even the white wine was from the Barolo village grape variety. It was a single winery event, so we got to taste the top-notch single vineyard Barolo, but I personally preferred the vineyard mix with a distinctive character. Chef Hayashi's Piedmontese cuisine was outstanding, especially the escargot pasta and Hokkaido red beef. Although I usually don't buy bottles after attending Maker's Dinners, this time I was so impressed with the delightful pairing that I ended up taking home two bottles. Since I don't have a cellar, I need to drink them before summer comes...

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and it was really wonderful. The place was cozy, the service was impeccable, and the food was delicious not only in taste but also visually appealing. We had a great time enjoying the ambiance and the attentive service. We were the last customers, and the staff saw us off until we were out of sight, which was a nice touch. I will definitely visit again. Everything was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Course B consisted of appetizers, bread, pasta, and dessert. The appetizer included a salad, three types of ham, and eggs. The bread was seasoned with olive oil and salt. For pasta, I chose bacon and sweet potato cream pasta from three options. The noodles were ordinary, but the sweet potato and cream sauce were delicious! The dessert was chestnut ice cream and pound cake. The chestnuts were plentiful and tasty. Despite being a weekday, the restaurant was full, so reservations are a must.

Tonight, at Tantaroba in Koishikawa. A special collaboration with Focaccia di Recco 500 in Narimasu, featuring a comparison of dishes from Liguria, Piedmont, and Sicily with wine pairings. Starting with a glass of Lambrusco! Each dish showcases a little something from each region, with the chefs collaborating on antipasto platters, pasta dishes, and main courses featuring tuna and Kumamoto's local chicken. Desserts also highlighted the three regions. The wine pairings were also excellent!

I visited this restaurant for lunch before the weekend graduate research presentation. The restaurants in this area are always full during lunchtime on weekends, so reservations are essential. I had a toast and ordered the Lunch Course B, which included a generous appetizer (3 types of ham, salad, quiche, etc.), homemade focaccia, pasta, dessert, and coffee for around 2,300 yen. The appetizers were all delicious, and the Tsukiakari and green bean Genovese pasta had a delicious sauce that seemed like it could be eaten forever. The portions were generous. The staff were friendly, and I had a lovely lunchtime experience. Thank you for the meal! I will definitely come back.

I visited Tantaroba, one of the restaurants I wanted to go to within walking distance from my home. I decided to go with the chef's omakase course because I was having a hard time choosing from the menu that day. The soup and appetizers were very elegant and beautiful, each with its own unique flavor. The warm appetizer of beef tongue was especially delicious. The pasta included stuffed pasta similar to ravioli and a pasta with deer meat and liver ragu sauce, both of which were new flavors to me but incredibly delicious. The main dish was Hokkaido sirloin (I forgot to take a picture), and it was amazingly tasty. I was happy to receive detailed explanations for each dish from the soup to dessert. The taste, presentation, and portion size were all very satisfying, and I definitely want to visit again. They even saw me off until I was out of sight on my way home, which was a nice touch. Thank you very much.

Tantaroba in Myogadani is an Italian restaurant known for its popular lunch menu. I went with a friend who wanted to eat delicious pasta. Today, I decided to be a bit picky and requested handmade pasta. For the salad, we had a selection of raw ham, domestic pastrami, homemade smoked ham, tortilla, and fresh vegetables. We ordered two types of handmade pasta: "Stratiante" - coin-sized circular pasta with sausage and herb sauce, and "Tagliano" - knife-cut long pasta with rabbit sauce. I love sausage, so the herb sauce was a perfect match. The rabbit meat had a texture similar to Iberico pork and a great aroma. The homemade focaccia was also delicious. For dessert, we had homemade pistachio and tiramisu. The tiramisu had a strong coffee flavor in the base, topped with plenty of cocoa powder. I also added a cappuccino for an extra 100 yen. I was truly grateful for being able to upgrade to handmade pasta for just around 1000 yen more. Handmade pasta is the best!

Extremely popular place. It's difficult to get a seat when the weather is nice. Today it was raining. I called at the last minute and there was one seat available at the counter. There are three lunch options. While there is a convenient set menu, the most expensive course at 3,960 yen is highly recommended. I had tried the 2,200 yen course a while back (it has been slightly raised in price, it was around 1,950 yen back then). I was reasonably satisfied with it, but there were compromises in various aspects. The appetizers were plentiful and meticulously prepared. The pasta had a delicate flavor with accents of sakura shrimp and bamboo shoots. The main dish was grilled high-quality pork shoulder cooked in a low-temperature oven, seasoned perfectly. There were no compromises in the dessert either. The restaurant is run by a chef with extensive experience training in Italy, but he incorporates Japanese ingredients while maintaining the essence of delicious Japanese Italian cuisine. It was a rare treat to dine there again after a long time.

There is a restaurant on the way from Myogadani Station to Harima-zaka. It seems to be crowded during the cherry blossom season even on weekdays. It has a small terrace seat and a spacious atmosphere. I visited this place on the recommendation of a friend for my birthday celebration. I chose the lunch course for ¥2200, which includes bread, salad, choice of pasta, dessert, and a drink. When I placed my order, the staff quickly brought out the bread. The garlic focaccia was delicious, crispy, and had a nice olive oil flavor. However, I was surprised that they didn't provide wet towels and had to ask for one. Next, the salad arrived, which consisted of three types of Italian ham and a side omelet. It looked luxurious and tasted great, with crispy vegetables and a simple yet delicious flavor. The main pasta dish was a creamy spaghetti with pumpkin, almonds, and gorgonzola. It was quite filling, but the cream sauce was a bit too rich for my taste, with a strong gorgonzola flavor. I ended up drinking a lot of water due to the richness of the dish. By the time dessert arrived, I was already full. The pistachio gelato was delicious, but I couldn't finish the baked cheesecake. Overall, the lunch set was reasonably priced and satisfying, but next time, I'll make sure to go on an empty stomach.

Located on Samba-zaka, this popular restaurant is always crowded. It has a casual yet slightly stylish atmosphere, with moderate prices. It is a place where happy families, couples, and close friends gather. The lunch A course includes a choice of pasta, focaccia, mini dessert, and coffee. I chose the tomato pasta with scamorza cheese and arugula. The pasta was al dente, and the tomato sauce was consistently delicious. The focaccia was slightly salty, perhaps intended to pair well with wine. The mini dessert, a chocolate gâteau, was satisfying. I believe this restaurant will continue to be popular in the future.

Tanta Roba is a place where you can enjoy traditional Italian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere. Located a 7-minute walk from Myogadani Station, this restaurant has been open since 1999. Even at 1 pm, there is a line! 【Pranzo B】Price: 2,200 yen including tax - Homemade bread: Focaccia with a strong flavor of oil and salt. The taste is so good that you can't wait for the pasta. - Salad with 3 types of Italian ham: High-quality ham with different flavors to enjoy. The frittata also warms the heart. - Your choice of pasta: Tomato sauce with fried eggplant and Scamorza cheese. The flavor unfolds as you eat, making it a dish you won't get tired of. - Assorted desserts: Espresso chiffon cake and pistachio gelato. The acidity of the fruits adds a nice touch. - Coffee (or tea): A satisfying cup with a strong bitterness, richness, and a hint of acidity. Atmosphere & Service: The atmosphere of an Italian eatery makes your stomach feel open. The service is lively and warm, making you want to come back. Overall: I had a great experience! The excellent appetizers reminded me of San Juan Pied de Port in Shibuya, a Basque cuisine restaurant. The meal continued to impress, and the service was so friendly that I would definitely visit this place twice a week if it were in my neighborhood. In conclusion, it's a restaurant with delicious food and hospitality that makes you want to keep coming back.

I visited for lunch. The interior seating is nice, but on this day, we requested an outdoor table. To reserve an outdoor table, you need to secure a table first and then call at 10 am on the day to make a reservation. We ordered the chef's choice course. The pasta was delicious. Also, the pork was tasty.

The food is still delicious as always, but the service and atmosphere of the restaurant are disappointing. I visited during dinner time and had the chef's recommendation (¥6,600~). I had also been there for lunch before and the food was very tasty. However, the staff seemed to not remember the explanation of the course dishes, and there were loud noises like the sound of pasta being kneaded or something being slammed on the cutting board repeatedly. The atmosphere and service of the restaurant were honestly disappointing. If it's a restaurant that serves course dishes rather than a la carte, I hope they can provide attentive and smooth service, and a calm dining environment (without being bothered by the noise from the kitchen). It's a shame that the food is delicious, but that's the only positive thing.

I enjoyed a delicious lunch course at a table on the terrace overlooking the cherry blossom trees. The appetizers included three types of fresh fish dishes with tasty oil sauce. The pasta with mussels from Mont Saint-Michel was especially delicious. The grilled sea bream with pizza-style sauce for the main course was a perfect combination. I would love to visit this restaurant at night as well.

This time we had a large group so we ate inside the restaurant, but it would be better to dine on the terrace here. Located up the slope of Hasama, you can overlook a European-style scenery. Dogs are also allowed on the terrace. It's quite difficult to get a table without a reservation. Perhaps because the restaurant has a small number of seats. However, if you make a reservation, you can enjoy your meal leisurely. The taste of the dishes is impeccable. When making a reservation, it was mentioned that reservations are not accepted for A lunch, but only from B lunch (2310 yen) and above. It's nice to treat yourself to a little luxury with lunch.

Popular Italian restaurant in Myogadani. It's recommended to make a reservation even for weekday lunches. The chef trained in northern Italy. Reservations require a course of 2,200 yen or more. I had the 2,200 yen course. I could choose from 3 types of Italian ham and salad pasta that changes weekly. I chose the tomato sauce pasta. The dessert and post-meal drink were generous, and I was satisfied with the 2,200 yen. Money spent: 2,200 yen Rating: 3 points 5 points: Definitely want to revisit!! 4 points: Would like to revisit if given the chance! 3 points: Would be okay to revisit. 2 points: Once is enough. 1 point: No need to go.
