Located facing Roppongi Hills, Roppongi Ukai-Tei offers a truly outstanding location. You can park your car in the underground parking lot, walk through the plaza, and enter the store on the second floor. The interior has a Western-style design and a calm atmosphere. You will be led to a private room facing the road, creating a great ambiance. First, enjoy a pre-meal fruit juice. They prepare melon in front of you, serving sherbet and a non-alcoholic cocktail. The taste is refreshing, mixing the sweetness of the melon with the freshness of the sherbet. Then, the chef comes to your table and explains the ingredients as you enjoy your meal. You can choose between fillet and sirloin for your meat dish. I chose a combination of both. The sirloin is rich in meaty flavor and truly delicious. If you prefer less oily meat, the fillet might be a better choice. The garlic rice is fragrant and slightly chewy, pairing well with miso soup. For dessert, you can choose from several options. I went with the classic custard pudding, which was rich in egg flavor and paired perfectly with hot coffee. Finally, they serve petit fours as a closing treat, offering a variety of options to choose from. A satisfying and leisurely lunch experience that lasted about 2 hours. I truly enjoyed a fulfilling holiday lunch experience.

Private room teppanyaki course in every room!!! Roppongi Ukai-tei 40,000-50,000. I was surprised by the high-quality ingredients they bring out at the beginning!! The dishes that blend French cuisine were truly delicious and irresistible! I usually prefer lean meat, but this time it was sirloin! I wish I could choose between filet and sirloin, but still, sirloin made me feel a bit heavy in the stomach, haha... ⭐️5⭐️ I want to go there again. I love it so much that I don't want to tell anyone about it. ⭐️4⭐️ I would recommend this place if asked. ⭐️3⭐️ I might go again~ ⭐️2⭐️ Hmm... I would prefer to try a different restaurant. ⭐️1⭐️ Personally, I do not recommend it. ‍♀️ Instagram @tokyo_gourmet_yokutaberuko Tabelog: A frequent eater/Tokyo gourmet My Instagram features only restaurants with a rating of 4 or 5 stars on Tabelog.✨ #RoppongiGourmet #RoppongiCafe #RoppongiLunch #Roppongi #Roppongicafe #Roppongirestaurant #TokyoGourmet #TokyoCafe #TokyoLunch #TokyoDate #Tokyo #TokyoTrip #TokyoRestaurant #TokyoCafe #TokyoTravel #TokyoTeppanyaki #UkaiTei #RoppongiDinner #TokyoDinner #TokyoEntertainment #TokyoTeppanyaki

We enjoyed a Chef's special course in a private room, featuring premium beef from Tamura Ranch, as well as seasonal seafood and vegetables. Everything was absolutely delicious! Instead of garlic rice for the finishing touch, we opted for freshly made soba noodles. We savored dessert in a separate lounge and left completely satisfied. We would love to come back to Roppongi again! Introduced in the spring of 2018, "Ukai-tei" and "Kappou Ukai" opened simultaneously on Keyaki-zaka Street in Roppongi Hills. Ukai's unique culinary culture continues to evolve in the increasingly globalized Roppongi area. The two neighboring restaurants strive to uphold tradition while constantly innovating. We offer a gourmet experience that can only be found here and look forward to welcoming you to our establishments. Enjoy the luxurious ambiance and exquisite teppanyaki cuisine at Ukai. Indulge in the ultimate dining experience with our carefully crafted dishes, opulent surroundings, and exceptional hospitality. The history of our culinary exploration culminates in the finest dining experience at Roppongi Hills. Overlooking Keyakizaka in Roppongi Hills, "Roppongi Ukai-tei" offers a lavish setting where traditional Japanese beauty shines in gold and vermilion. Immerse yourself in a moment of delight at the ultimate Chef's Table, where Ukai-tei's history and aesthetics are condensed. Taste carefully selected premium ingredients such as "Ukai's finest beef," raised specifically for Ukai-tei, and seasonal seafood like lobster. Enjoy the pinnacle of cuisine that satisfies all five senses, while engaging in conversation at the private Chef's Table.

I recommend a teppanyaki experience with Mr. Iwasaki, who is a skilled food coordinator. This time, I tried a restaurant in Roppongi for the first time, and I was impressed by the fact that all the seating areas were semi-private, allowing for a relaxing experience. The interior of the restaurant is elegantly decorated in red. - Crab and colorful vegetable appetizer: The crab was plentiful and delicious. - Turnip Carbonara-style: The turnip is baked in the oven to bring out its sweetness. - Silky sweet potato potage: Elegant sweetness and the aroma of sweet potatoes make this soup delicious. - Scallops and seaweed with butter sauce: The scallops were large and the sauce was rich and tasty. - Sirloin and thigh meat: A dish where you can enjoy the flavors of both cuts of meat. - Sirloin sandwich: The fatty meat is crispy and sandwiched between bread with mustard. - Garlic rice and miso soup: A satisfying way to finish the meal. For dessert, we moved to the salon. - Strawberry parfait served in Baccarat glasses. - Freshly squeezed Mont Blanc, squeezed right in front of you. The interior of the restaurant is luxurious, and the dishes and cups are exquisite. It was a truly delightful dining experience.

On a special anniversary, we indulged in luxurious treats such as caviar, white truffles, and a whole snow crab. The Maestro, one of only six people in the world, expertly cooked our meal, making us feel truly fortunate. The caviar was rich and abundant, paired perfectly with crab meat in a cold appetizer that was surprisingly smooth. The black truffle and beef tartare, while delicious, could have showcased the truffle more. The crab miso chawanmushi was simple yet brought out the full flavor of the crab. The crispy snow crab tempura was better than any specialty tempura shop. The grilled crab legs with sweet onion were fragrant and delicious. The crab broth soba had a strong texture and yuzu fragrance, made with handcrafted soba noodles from a neighboring restaurant. The steamed crab legs with white truffle cream sauce were sweet and condensed, with a rich creaminess. The chef allowed us to pour the sauce over bread to savor every drop. The Tamura beef sirloin steak was cooked to perfection, with a burst of juices and flavor. The crab paella was flavorful, although the rice was softer than expected. For dessert, we moved to the illuminated lounge and enjoyed a strawberry parfait and freshly made Mont Blanc. The birthday cake was light and delicious, and we also had a variety of tea sweets to choose from. The macarons were refreshing, the chocolates were divine, and the pecan nut coating was a delightful surprise. We ended the meal with flowers and a photo, overlooking the sparkling streets below, feeling truly happy and content.

We used it for a celebration and it was truly amazing, as expected from Ukai-tei. We were led to a private room where the chef served us a variety of dishes from seafood to the main meat course and risotto. For dessert, we were taken to a separate bar room where we could choose from a selection of sweets. It was fantastic.

The food, service, atmosphere, furnishings, decorations - all top-notch. The dishes provided are particularly outstanding. It's rare to find a restaurant that serves such high-quality items. The wine pairing, with detailed explanations from the sommelier, choices, and marriages, further elevates the experience. The cooking skills of the maestro chef and the live feeling are captivating and blissful. The hospitality of the staff is exceptional. A dining experience with such a solid dining style is rare, even in 5-star hotels. The dessert after the meal is also a series of impressive moments in terms of atmosphere and taste. I was able to spend a wonderful time. Highly recommended for special occasions like anniversaries.

Located behind Roppongi Hills. It's exciting from the entrance. It might be the tallest in Ukai. Perfect for special occasions. The food is beyond words. It's a place where you want to dress up. Forget the hustle and bustle of Roppongi and let time pass slowly.

I went to Ukai-tei Roppongi Hills to eat a special truffle course limited to 4-star members. Since I was a child, I have loved Ukai-tei's garlic rice so much that I got scolded by my parents for saying it in public. I had the best truffle course at Ukai-tei, with both black and white truffles being incredibly delicious! #meat #meatlovers #meatstagram #foodstagram #foodlovers #followback #obstetricsandgynecologymeal #doctoreats #steak #steakhouse #gourmetlovers #gourmetstagram #yakiniku #meatlover #meatcuisine #meatjapan #RoppongiUkaitei #Ukaitei #UkaiteiRoppongi #blacktruffle #whitetruffle #Nogizaka #RoppongiGourmet #Roppongi #RoppongiHills

You can enjoy an original teppanyaki with your favorite ingredients pre-arranged, but it comes at a considerable price. All the ingredients are top quality, and the seasoning is perfect. It would be perfect for a special occasion!

We used this restaurant for a reception. The person preferred seafood over meat, so the menu was mainly seafood. The ingredients were all high-quality and the taste was excellent. The meal ended with a unique dish, paella. The Mont Blanc dessert was also a unique dish made with a special machine. The price was quite expensive for four people.

I also celebrated my birthday here at Ukai-tei in 2022. I love Ukai-tei in Omotesando, but I prefer the one in Roppongi because it is more convenient in terms of transportation and the private rooms have a bubbly atmosphere that I enjoy. This year, I had Tamura beef!!! And a course with matsutake mushrooms and truffles. The taste and texture of Tamura beef are truly unparalleled. It's amazing to have such thoughts about beef haha. Ukai-tei also excels in desserts. I had Mont Blanc at the restaurant and took home a fig whole cake. I want to indulge in something really luxurious on my birthday. The dishes I enjoyed included caviar and button shrimp tartare, foie gras with truffles, wagyu beef with matsutake mushrooms, wagyu beef fillet with consomme soup and white truffles, wagyu beef rump, omakase lobster with cream sauce, ama-dai with leeks and karasumi, wagyu beef sirloin, wagyu beef sukiyaki with matsutake mushrooms, ginger rice, and Mont Blanc.

I went there to celebrate, and it was an excellent restaurant. The course menu was 33,000 yen, and the wine was around 2,000-4,000 yen. Drinks like beer were about 1,000 yen, and they also had whiskey if you want to keep the cost down. You can choose from 4 different desserts, which is nice. I had a grape tart with a brandy flavor, it had a sophisticated taste. The bar lounge was like a lounge in Ginza, only for restaurant customers.

I was able to spend time quietly as all the rooms were private. Overall, the flavors were strong. It would be easier to eat if the seasoning was a bit lighter. The meat was excellent. The drinks were a bit pricey but they had a wide variety. The staff were wonderful, so I think it would be a good place to use for special occasions like anniversaries or business dinners.

I used a private room where they cook right in front of you. You can enjoy your meal while listening to the staff explain the dishes. Everything was delicious ✨ (I may have forgotten to take some photos) The portions were generous and I was quite full. For dessert, there were about 4 options and each person could choose one! The interior was also elegant with Lalique glass decorations! I would love to go back again someday.

I was taken to a year-end party at my workplace! The restaurant was located in a quiet area about a 10-minute walk up a hill from the station, and the atmosphere was very nice. I enjoyed everything I tried. My favorite was the chestnut soup, and the second favorite was the chestnut parfait we had in the cafe space at the end. Seasonal dishes are always delicious.

Blog: Hangover Meal at Instagram ● Roppongi Ukai Tei This time, we visited "Ukai Tei" in Roppongi for a hangover meal! I had heard of this place before and always wanted to visit, so I was finally able to make it happen. The restaurant is located on the second floor of Roppongi Keyakizaka Street. The entrance has a chic vibe, making it a bit intimidating to enter. Once inside, the luxurious interior is quite impressive. Wealthy-looking people are chatting at each table, creating a different world altogether. We opted for the chef's omakase course priced at 38500 yen, and the first dish that came out was quite impressive. It was Botan Ebi with caviar and consomme jelly, topped with gold leaf. The combination of the plump Botan Ebi, rich caviar, and refreshing consomme jelly was elegant and delicious. Next, we had beef tongue and Kaga lotus root. The beef tongue was incredibly tender, almost unrecognizable as such. Paired with the crispy grilled Kaga lotus root, it was a luxurious treat. The meal continued with Abalone spring rolls, a unique dish that combined the flavors of spring rolls with the richness of abalone. The liver sauce added a depth of flavor that made it a memorable dish. We were then treated to a sizzling crab on a hot plate, which was later mixed into a luxurious crab risotto. The fluffy crab and flavorful risotto made for a decadent combination. Other highlights included Dace fish marinated in Dassai sake lees, and a succulent main meat dish. The meal ended with a truffle udon and a chestnut parfait, which were both delightful. Overall, the experience at Ukai Tei was exceptional, though the price tag matched the quality of the meal. It's not a place one can visit often, but the memories will be cherished. I hope to be able to visit such establishments more easily in the future. It was a delicious experience.

On my birthday every year, I always visit Ukai-tei for a special meal. This year, since the Omotesando branch was closed, we went to the Roppongi location for the first time! My partner treated me to the Tajimaya beef course, which was a first for me as I had only tried their sukiyaki before. The luxurious ingredients were elegantly presented, and I could really feel the seasonal touch. The Tajimaya beef steak was amazing, with just the right amount of marbling and a great balance of fat and lean meat. The sirloin was not too heavy, the ribeye was tender, and the fillet was exceptional! We also opted for the wine and sake pairing, which was a delightful experience with some great selections. I am already looking forward to next year's visit!

Hills was closer to home than Hachioji, so I went to Uka. I preferred Uka for its traditional Japanese cuisine, but I ended up losing 4 to 2. It turned out to be teppanyaki. I added abalone to the omakase course! The appetizers were salmon and caviar, but since I'm not a fan of salmon, I passed on it and they gave me extra caviar instead. Isn't caviar better than salmon? It's all a matter of preference. The Hokkaido scallops were thick and delicious! Oh, I want to go to Hokkaido. The noodles were made with Chinese matsutake mushrooms and dashi, which was really nice. They said the dashi was made in the traditional Japanese way. The live spiny lobster was so lively in the basket that it was jumping around. It was so plump and delicious! I don't need meat, so maybe I should just switch to spiny lobster haha. You can't come to Uka and not eat abalone. I wonder how much a whole abalone costs? Even if you don't get the course, it's okay to just have one abalone. As for the fillet, there's nothing much to say. I used to be impressed by it, but thinking about it now, there's so much good meat available everywhere. When I presented my Hills points at the checkout, I got an extra 2500 yen.
