I met someone at the day that I often go to, and they opened a new restaurant in Asakusa. It's located a little off Hoppy Street, so be careful not to miss it amidst all the other shops (laughs). On this day, I arrived after 9:00 PM, so they had run out of soup curry and could only serve Keema Curry. The Billi Keema Curry is made with their own blend of spices and comes with saffron rice, onion achar, vegetable salad, soft-boiled egg, and coriander. The content is plentiful. While the soup curry is full of spices and stimulating, the Keema Curry is made with mild spiciness so even children can eat it. If you want more punch, you can increase the spiciness or use the Billi original garam masala on the table to make it a light and easy-to-eat dish. I was able to enjoy it even after drinking. The restaurant also has a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, so it's also suitable for drinking while dining. In fact, there were customers who came to drink. Since I tried the Keema Curry this time, I'm thinking of trying the soup curry next time. They seem to also offer limited quantities recently, so don't forget to check their Instagram (laughs). I found out about this place a little while ago but didn't have a chance to go until now. I went there for lunch and it took a bit of time, around 15 minutes, for the food to come out. It was really delicious. However, I wish they wouldn't put cilantro in the soup curry.

I heard about a soup curry restaurant called Billi and decided to try it out. The menu consists of Soup Curry (1300 yen) and Keema Curry (1200 yen) as the basics. I ordered the medium-spicy Soup Curry with half rice and chose the stewed chicken. There were about 5 other customers before me, but the wait was quite long. After waiting for about 15 minutes, I decided to order a lunch beer (350 yen) to pass the time. The beer arrived quickly. Finally, after 35 minutes of waiting, my Soup Curry was served. It had a large piece of chicken in it. It looked fried rather than stewed, but I didn't have the courage to wait another 30 minutes, so I decided to eat it as it was. It also had boiled egg, fried lotus root, pumpkin, sliced carrots, and coriander. The coriander added a nice touch to the dish. I don't have much experience with soup curry, but I found it quite delicious. However, I think the wait time for the food was too long. When I was told the total was 1300 yen at the payment, I mentioned the lunch beer order, and it became 1650 yen. I was able to pay with PayPay, and the payment destination was listed as DON. I noticed that the address matched with Asakusa DON, and there was also a sign for Asakusa DON. I'm not sure if they are related in some way.

The spices aroma is enticing even just by being placed on the table. The soup is not too spicy but you can feel the dashi broth. It tastes delicious. The chicken is crispy and well-fried. The turmeric rice is cooked firm and you can taste other spice flavors as well. ■Miscellaneous You can hear the sound of frying chicken while waiting. It's great that it's made fresh. The chicken soup curry is cooked for hours with shiokoji. They use over 10 types of spices.

It's a cute cafe-like shop. The smell of curry spices is really good, so I stopped by here during my food tour. The soup curry, chicken, and deep-fried vegetables were delicious, and the yellow turmeric rice that came with it was also great.

I used takeout service. When I arrived before 5 pm, there were a few foreigners dining, and I was able to place my order smoothly. I ordered the chicken soup curry. It was served in about 15 minutes. When I tried it, the soup curry was very delicious with plenty of chicken flavor! It had lots of vegetables, so it was very satisfying. The chicken wings were cooked until tender and delicious. The rice also had plenty of side dishes on top, and I enjoyed it until the end.

I decided to get some curry for takeout on my way home in Asakusa, so I came to this place. The interior is casual with a small space that has counter seats and tables. I got the soup curry for takeout (1350 yen). The container is separate and sturdy, which is nice. The chicken is a bit small but tender as expected, and it comes with pumpkin, lotus root, and egg. The soup is a bit on the lighter side, but it goes well with the turmeric rice. It's delicious.
