The best teppanyaki restaurant I have ever been to. The food was incredibly delicious. The atmosphere was also very nice, with multiple floors from the basement to the 2nd or 3rd floor. It feels like the whole building is dedicated to this restaurant. There is also a lounge where you can enjoy coffee and alcohol. It is definitely worth coming back, and once you get used to it, it would be a great place to bring a date. Thank you for reading until the end. I am sharing my honest thoughts on food experiences mainly in Miyagi Prefecture, Tohoku. I appreciate your follows, likes, saves, and comments. I would be happy to connect with different people through the love of food.

The lighting is dim and the photo is not great, but the space is very stylish with a modern Japanese feel. I sat at a counter surrounded by a half-circle of iron plates. There were many foreigners around, mostly tourists and business people. The staff mentioned that it had been a while since they had to explain things in Japanese. The presentation had many Japanese elements, making me feel like I was on a trip. I had the Teppanyaki Floor course, with lobster and tilefish. The taste of the ingredients was refined and the presentation was impressive. I tried Bagna Cauda for the first time, with a delicious sauce. I shared the fillet and sirloin with my partner, and although meat is usually enjoyed with salt, the sauce was so delicious that I made an exception. The meat was tender and full of flavor. The mashed potatoes were a unique blend of tea bowl and pudding flavors, and the dessert was enjoyed in a room with a fireplace, offering a different atmosphere for relaxation. I had a great time enjoying the high-quality taste and hospitality!

Hospitality, atmosphere, and food were all excellent! When I went on a weekday night, there were mostly foreign couples or pairs. They had about three different types of sirloin to compare, and while the flavors were slightly different, they were all delicious. Looking forward to coming back for another special occasion with loved ones.

When I consulted my gourmet friend about a recommended restaurant for a celebration party, they introduced me to this teppanyaki restaurant. It is produced by the third generation of the Iron Chef, Mr. Morimoto, so the food is fantastic. They highly recommended the sweet shrimp tartare, so I made a reservation for a course that included it. The restaurant is located a short walk from Roppongi and has a hidden gem vibe. The teppanyaki is in the underground space, with dim lighting but a spacious and luxurious atmosphere. We sat at the semi-circular teppanyaki counter this time. The dishes we had included sweet shrimp tartare, oyster foie gras, watercress barnacle, crab miso sauce, steamed white fish and vegetables with glass fiber, selected premium Japanese black beef fillet, and garlic rice for the main course. The sweet shrimp tartare had a unique presentation with caviar, celery, avocado, sour cream, spicy mayonnaise, shallots, and rice crackers. It was a must-try dish. The following dishes included sautéed oysters and foie gras with sea urchin, which were a perfect combination. The sea urchin added a luxurious touch. The watercress barnacle had a special meaning of bringing Japan and America together. The crab miso sauce was rich and flavorful, with many customers wishing they could buy it. The chef even toasted bread for us to enjoy the leftover sauce. The steamed white fish was cooked with a glass fiber sheet that can withstand up to 270 degrees, along with vegetables. The main course was the fillet, which was cooked perfectly with various sauces and seasonings. We regretted not noticing that we could have upgraded to Chateaubriand for an additional fee. We opted for garlic rice instead of the omelette rice for the finale. After the meal, we enjoyed a dessert plate with tea. The course included signature dishes by Chef Morimoto, with a witty and elegant presentation that didn't feel like a typical teppanyaki course. The chef and the service staff were friendly and shared a lot of information about the dishes, making us feel comfortable. I can't wait to go back again soon!

Roppongi is the nearest station. The chef is internationally renowned and has opened a restaurant here. The space is top-notch, with a semi-circular counter where you can enjoy your meal while watching the chef cook on the teppan. I used it for a business dinner and my guests were very satisfied. There are staff who can speak English, and the hospitality of the staff, including that person, was wonderful. It's not just teppanyaki, but you can also see the process of cooking Aqua Pazza in a heat-resistant transparent bag on the teppan. I chose the sirloin for my meat, which came with various sauces for different flavors. I will definitely use this restaurant again.

No matter how many times you visit, you'll always want to come back to this restaurant. The menu never changes, but for some reason you never get tired of it. The hospitality of the staff is exceptional, and the atmosphere is always lively. Unlike high-end teppanyaki restaurants that can feel quiet and subdued, this place creates a welcoming atmosphere for everyone. The cherry blossoms greeted us as it's the season, and the dishes were simply seasoned and perfectly cooked as always. I couldn't resist finishing the delicious bagna cauda with a spoon. The shiso seeds served with the garlic rice at the end were also delightful. This restaurant's garlic rice has a gentle flavor that feels even more comforting than other teppanyaki restaurants. The addition of shiso seeds gives it a subtle punch, making it the perfect dish to end the meal. Thank you for the heartwarming service as always.

I used this restaurant for my wife's birthday, who loves teppanyaki. Roppongi is quite popular, but it was my first time around here. There are quite a few stylish restaurants lined up. The dining area is underground and quite spacious. I couldn't imagine it at all from the outside. The taste is of course great, but the presentation has a playful and artistic feel. It feels like I'm at an art exhibition. Especially the first Toro and Bagna Cauda were exactly that. There are various choices for beef, so I upgraded to Chateaubriand (for an additional 1000 yen) because why not. Compared to the 7000 yen Kobe and Matsuzaka beef, it felt like a much better deal. I'm glad I upgraded. It was incredibly tender and delicious. We also enjoyed other dishes like lobster and garlic omelette rice, but I was already full from the atmosphere and service. My wife was happy, so I am happy too. I would like to come back again.

I visited the restaurant for a Christmas version of the course meal. The Toro and sweet shrimp tartare, which Mori Moto boasts, was delicious! The caramelized sea urchin was also very tasty. I thought I couldn't drink a whole bottle of wine, so I enjoyed Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon by the glass. The spacious, high-ceilinged interior of the restaurant has a sense of openness that I like. The staff who guided us from the entrance were kind and polite. The ventilation hood on the teppan grill looks like a spaceship, which is quite impressive. We had dessert in the atmospheric lounge on the upper floor. The Christmas tree was beautiful.

I have been enjoying the hospitality of Mr. Morimoto XEX for over 10 years now. The interior is gorgeous, but the service is warm and welcoming, unlike teppanyaki restaurants in Omotesando or Ginza. When I want to enjoy teppanyaki in a relaxed atmosphere, I come here. We start with Chef Morimoto's specialty, tuna tartare. Enjoy the tuna with your favorite condiments like caviar or cream cheese. The bagna cauda is a classic but not too heavy, and I always ask for extra bread to enjoy until the end. The presentation of the dishes always excites me no matter how many times I come. For seafood, you can choose between lobster and abalone. For meat, you can choose between sirloin or fillet. You can also upgrade to Matsusaka beef, but I find the regular options to be more than enough. For the finale, you can choose between garlic rice, udon, garlic rice with omelette, or sushi, depending on how full you are. Today, I chose garlic rice with a creamy omelette on top. The omelette is cooked in front of you, and when you cut into it, the creamy egg covers the garlic rice, making you want more. After the meal, be sure to enjoy dessert in the lounge upstairs. Whenever I visit, I am always satisfied with the service at this restaurant.

I had been to this restaurant before with a friend, but I had forgotten. It's a place with a variety of options like steak and sushi, and the atmosphere is nice. It might be a good place to take someone out to impress them. The steak was delicious, but the sushi was not good. I didn't pay, so I'm not sure about the prices, but I don't think it's a very cheap place.

The high-class restaurant lived up to its price. The sautéed dish with sweet shrimp as an appetizer followed by foie gras, oysters, and sea urchin was a taste that I will never forget. The luxurious ingredients and the chef's skills in cooking were too extravagant. The staff's service was excellent, and the chef's occasional interaction was very pleasant. I highly value this in teppanyaki restaurants. It was a memorable experience that I will never forget in my lifetime. #Atelier Morimoto Zex #Teppanyaki #Teppanyaki Dinner #Roppongi Dinner #Special Occasion

This restaurant is located a 7-8 minute walk from Nogizaka Station, Chiyoda Line, Exit 5, and Roppongi Station, Oedo Line/Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line, Exit 7. It offers teppanyaki, sushi, and a bar. The underground floor has teppanyaki, the first floor has a bar and sushi counter, and the second floor has a private dining area and lounge. The luxurious and sophisticated atmosphere is perfect for special occasions and quiet adult time. The dishes are delicious and beautifully presented like works of art. The sautéed spiny lobster with a unique sauce is particularly tasty. The Chateaubriand steak, cooked lightly with a perfect balance of lean and marbled meat, is full of flavor, especially when paired with various condiments. The garlic fried rice as a finishing touch is also exceptional. I can't wait to reserve a seat at the sushi counter next time.

In a slightly dim lobby, we left our coats and went downstairs to find a high-class teppanyaki restaurant. The atmosphere was luxurious, and the dishes were visually appealing and delicious. I was particularly impressed by the sautéed lobster and abalone, each with a sauce that complemented them perfectly. The abalone was tender and had a subtle taste of the sea, while the lobster was perfectly cooked and served in front of us. By the time we finished the omelette rice, we were pleasantly full. It was a truly delicious meal. Thank you for the feast.

The dinner was very delicious. The best recommendation is to enjoy the excellent beef cooked medium rare. Today, the highlights were the shrimp tartare, oyster foie gras, blanched bagna cauda with crab miso sauce. The cold yellowtail dish was also delicious. And the main dish, the premium black wagyu fillet, was outstanding. It was cooked medium rare, bringing out the best flavor of the meat. It was truly amazing. Lastly, we had garlic rice for the meal, which was very luxurious. The restaurant has private rooms in the basement where you can enjoy a quiet and relaxing meal. It's also a great place for business entertaining.

I visited this restaurant for the first time on a special anniversary. The entrance to the shop was a bit hard to find, but the atmosphere inside was very nice, and the chef who took care of us was very kind. All the dishes were delicious, and after finishing our meal, they even brought out a dessert plate when we went upstairs to have a drink, making it a wonderful anniversary.

Last time we used the sushi service, but this time we tried teppanyaki for the first time. You can enjoy a variety of carefully crafted meals. There is also a bar on site, so it's convenient for a second party without having to move. I would like to have a drinking party with a private round table!

A private teppanyaki experience with someone special... Who would you choose? For a luxurious private teppanyaki dining experience, you should definitely come to Coco, recommended by Mr. Morimoto! Enjoying a beautiful tartare while sipping on champagne, cheers to another tough day. Relax and unwind in this tranquil setting.

Great atmosphere for a date, entertaining clients, or just having a good time! The restaurant has a spacious and beautiful floor with private rooms. The dishes are unique and delicious. After dinner, you can relax at the bar. We started with the shrimp tartare, followed by the popular course which included amazing foie gras. The second dish, foil-baked, was rich and paired well with wine. We shared both fillet and sirloin steak, which were incredibly tasty. We filled up with potatoes and a special dish, and ended the meal with dessert and a drink at the bar. This place is perfect for various occasions.

I had been curious about this restaurant for a long time, so I was looking forward to this day. It's about a 10-minute walk from Nogizaka. Inside, there is a sushi area and a teppanyaki area, with a very luxurious entrance. The restaurant is owned by Chef Masaharu Morimoto, who won a Michelin one-star rating for two consecutive years in 2007 and 2008, and even former U.S. President Obama has been a customer. The most popular course is the Morimoto Course (16,000 yen/6 items including tax) which includes Chef Morimoto's signature dishes. The dishes included in the course were beautifully presented and delicious. The service was excellent, with cheerful and friendly kimono-clad ladies attending to us. After the meal, we moved to the lounge on the second floor for coffee. I would love to visit this restaurant again if I have the chance.

XEX in Roppongi. It was my first visit to this restaurant. They can make cocktails even if it's not on the menu. I was impressed by the timely drink orders from the staff. The sushi from the Japanese menu is served in small portions, but you can order more which is nice.

Atelier Morimoto XEX in Roppongi is a quiet and elegant space with a sophisticated atmosphere. I opted for the non-alcoholic course this time. The colorful tartare with shrimp was a delightful start, and the signature "Oyster Foie Gras" was absolutely delicious! It made me crave for some alcohol though. The enjoyable dining experience flew by quickly, and the omurice finished on the hot plate towards the end was also superb! The chef's skillful preparation of the omurice on the hot plate was a sight to behold, as the fluffy egg gradually took shape. It was a fun and delicious meal to watch!

The photos show the second featured dish "Sweet Shrimp Tartare" that was added. The rest of the content describes a course meal experience for two women at the restaurant. The dishes were traditional in flavor and well-prepared. The meat was tender, and for those who don't like fatty foods, there were fish options available. The highlight was the "Sweet Shrimp Tartare," which was light and delicious, showcasing the freshness of the shrimp. The teppanyaki chef and the staff were attentive, ensuring a smooth dining experience with prompt service and timely drink recommendations. Other dishes like abalone and spiny lobster looked tempting, so I look forward to trying a different course next time. This restaurant is recommended for both private dining and business entertaining, as it offers a reliable and enjoyable experience.
