I was treated to a business lunch. It was a luxurious lunch with sukiyaki set and bottled beer. The beer was cold and delicious. The sukiyaki was also delicious. We even had sherbet at the end. There was plenty of distance between tables, allowing for private conversations. It was a perfect setting for entertaining. Thank you for the meal.

I had the sukiyaki course for lunch. I could feel the attention to detail from the appetizer to the fluffy egg rice at the end, and even the dessert. This time, we had a private room with tatami mats and chairs. It's recommended for those who want to take off their shoes but prefer chairs. (There was no reservation fee). Thank you for the delicious meal.

This was my first visit. I arrived before 2 pm on a weekday. I was guided to a private room, which allowed me to relax comfortably. I had the weekday-only sukiyaki bento. The large pieces of beef were tender and well-cooked. The broth had a nice flavor and paired well with the rice. Total cost including tax: Sukiyaki bento 1,650 yen

We went for lunch as a family. It was great that we could use a private room for free during lunch. The sukiyaki was delicious, with tender meat. However, in terms of cost performance, it fell a bit short. Personally, I wish there was a bit more volume.

I visited the restaurant on Saturday at 11:00 and was able to enter without waiting in line. The place was about 30% full. I was in the mood for meat and liked the calm atmosphere, so I decided to visit. Many people were ordering shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, but I opted for the set lunch which costs 2750 yen. It was a nice change. You can also get a refill of rice. The relaxed atmosphere was a plus. The customers seemed to be on the older side.

We had lunch with a one-year-old child, but we were able to eat slowly in a private room. For lunch, if you order dishes costing 3,850 yen or more per person, there is no private room fee. The service was also very good, and it seems that the restaurant even has a bouncer, so it is recommended for having lunch with infants and young children. The sukiyaki was delicious, and the sashimi was well-prepared. They also had Shirohonoka beer, so we were very satisfied.

Birthday visit. Reserved a private room because there is a one-year-old child. They had prepared a sterilized baby food set as we had informed them about bringing a child, and even gave a souvenir for the child, which was touching. They gave us a sticker book for my son who was being fussy. We had the Ponzu-grilled set meal, and the juiciness of the meat paired perfectly with the refreshing Ponzu sauce, which we devoured. Since it was a birthday celebration, they even prepared a steak sauce as a gift, which warmed our hearts. I strongly felt that I want to visit again✨

I was brought here by an acquaintance. I have been to other Ningyocho Imahan restaurants before, but this one was my first time. The service was very good. The food was delicious, but in terms of value for money, it was a bit questionable. It's a place I would like to visit if someone else is treating me.

When I hear "hanbun" I always think of sukiyaki, but this restaurant also serves charcoal-grilled dishes. In fact, the restaurant seems to focus more on charcoal grilling than anything else. I reserved a special course where I could enjoy both charcoal-grilled dishes and sukiyaki, so I was looking forward to it. It started with autumn-themed appetizers. The atmosphere of the private rooms and the interior is quite mature, which is unexpected for a location like Shinjuku. The charcoal-grilled dishes were delicious, with a soft and well-cooked texture that I really enjoyed. Although the sushi was good too, the grilled dishes were the highlight for me. But overall, sukiyaki was the best. They prepare each piece of tender meat in front of you, for you to dip in egg. Eating it while it's still warm is the best way to enjoy it. The white rice was a great accompaniment. For the finale, they served a mixture of tare sauce and egg with rice, which was quite filling. If you're not confident in your stomach capacity, you can choose between white rice or rice topped with the fluffy egg. The winner was definitely the sukiyaki. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

As expected of Imahan. Everything I eat is delicious. The presentation and ingredients are beautiful and seasonal. It's great that they offer both steak and sukiyaki on the menu, catering to customer requests. I think this place offers good value for money. I may only come here as a special treat, but I definitely want to come back again.

This is a high-class restaurant, but I recently found out that they offer reasonably priced lunches, so I decided to visit on this day. It was my first time using it for lunch. I had to wait a bit at the entrance, and despite being alone, I was given a spacious 3-person table with an L-shaped chair. I ordered the Sukiyaki bento for 1650 yen. The staff were all dressed neatly and moved briskly. After a short wait, the food was served. The serving of the dish, refilling of the tea, providing toothpicks, and the bill were all done by different staff members as if it were a scene in a play. I was impressed by this. I thought it would be served in a bento box since it was a "bento," but it had the structure of a set meal. It seems that the effective use of parts of the meat that would normally be served in a Sukiyaki dish costing thousands of yen. The ingredients were already seasoned when served, and you dip them in raw egg. The wheat gluten had the words "Imahan" written on it. Normally, if it were a pub lunch, I would have put the remaining egg on the rice, but I refrained. A little luxury for the common people, at a slightly higher price.

Shinjuku may have different faces depending on the location. Southern Terrace Southern Tower here is relatively quiet and comfortable. I was undecided so I came here. My companion was busy in November, so we chose the meat! We chose the daily service lunch. And on top of that, they gave us extra meat, haha. The staff's attentive hospitality was impressive, as expected from a long-standing establishment. We enjoyed our meal in a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for the meal. Next time, let's go for sukiyaki!

On Saturday at 12 o'clock, I visited a restaurant to meet up with a friend couple after a long time. We reserved a private table near the entrance and enjoyed a relaxed and private atmosphere while savoring delicate and exquisite dishes. - Man'yō Kaiseki (5500 yen including tax) - The meal started with a variety of small appetizer dishes beautifully presented. - The soup and hot pot were refreshing and the sashimi was fresh. - The roast beef sushi was a unique twist on traditional sushi, with two pieces of delicious roast beef nigiri. - The mini steak was cooked to perfection over charcoal, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture and a delicious flavor. It was served with grated radish and western mustard. - The rice dish was a flavorful shrimp and taro rice cooked in a clay pot, served with pickles and miso soup. - For dessert, we had cream anmitsu, a satisfying and refreshing combination of matcha jelly, agar, sweet red bean paste, and vanilla ice cream. We also enjoyed some draft beer and sake.

I used it for a friend's birthday celebration. Located in Shinjuku Takashimaya, inside Odakyu Southern Tower, it is a restaurant with a calm and sophisticated atmosphere. They have taken thorough measures against infection, providing a safe environment for dining. We had sukiyaki, with the top grade meat that was both lean and fatty. Personally, I found the lean meat more delicious, but the fatty meat also had a unique sweetness that was enjoyable. Each table has a waitress who cooks the meat to perfection and provides fresh eggs for dipping. They also offer to replace the eggs with a freshly beaten one, showing a nice level of hospitality. Thanks to this, my friend was happy and we were able to celebrate in a good mood. Thank you very much.

First time visiting. It was for entertaining guests. We had a private room. The atmosphere was calm and had a luxurious feel. The beef sushi was delicious, with a sweetness from the high-quality fat. I finished two pieces quickly. The steak was made from high-quality meat. It was a Caesar salad with steak as the main dish. It's a shame that the deliciousness doesn't come across in the photos. I had lunch at Imahan Bankyu in Shinjuku Southern Tower. I wanted to try a variety of dishes, so I ordered the Charcoal-grilled Colorful Assorted Meal, a lunch exclusive menu priced at 3960 yen including tax. It was a great choice. The appetizer-like dishes were beautifully displayed on a plate. Smoked duck breast, moroheiya tofu, cream cheese edamame, sazae sea snail with vinegar miso, roast beef sushi, and sea bream sashimi were all delicious, showcasing Imahan's culinary skills. The second dish was grilled swordfish with asparagus, which had a slightly bitter and savory flavor. The main dish was charcoal-grilled black wagyu steak, served rare so you can cook it to your liking. It came with summer vegetables and a vegetable salad, accompanied by ponzu sauce with grated daikon and rock salt. The lean wagyu beef was tender and flavorful. The meal was delicious. The rice was eel-topped ginger rice. The simple yet tasty ginger rice was a highlight. The dessert selection was plentiful, including cream anmitsu, mango water dumplings, roasted sweet potato, charcoal-grilled pineapple, and orange financiers. The sweet and juicy grilled pineapple was especially delicious.

JR Shin-Nanboku is close by and surprisingly not many people come, so you can enjoy a leisurely lunch. Imahan is well-known for their meat, and while the origin of the meat changes depending on the season, it is always delicious. The atmosphere is nice and the staff, especially those in kimono, provide excellent service. There are private rooms available, so it seems to be popular for business meetings. I recommend ordering the set meal for lunch, which includes sashimi, sukiyaki, and dessert. The sukiyaki is always enjoyable, especially when you mix in the egg and the sweet and savory sauce - it's irresistible with rice.

We often use this restaurant for business dinners. When ordering a course, they always start with a beautifully presented seasonal appetizer that delights the eyes. The fish is also beautifully arranged, showing that they handle ingredients with care. The premium sukiyaki with the best local meat available at that time is always perfectly marbled and delicious. The staff provides excellent service, making conversation during business meetings smooth and enjoyable. It's a comfortable place to dine, and we will continue to visit in the future.

We celebrated a long life milestone with our children (elementary school and preschool age) in a private room. We usually frequent the Imahan Odakyu First Life Building store, so this was our first time at Imahan Mankama in the south exit. It's also very nice being close to the station. For lunch, we had the Mankama kaiseki course, with additional mini-sized sukiyaki and matsutake mushroom rice. The autumn-themed dishes were beautiful from the appetizers onwards. The highlight for me was the roast beef sushi, which was not included in the course we had at the Odakyu First Life Building store. It was so delicious and tender, and the celebrant, who is elderly and had three lower front teeth extracted last week, was very happy with how easy it was to eat. The roast beef sushi at Imahan truly stands out compared to the common meat restaurant versions! If they offer takeout, it would be great for parties or souvenirs. The children's meal was generous in portion, and the shrimp tempura looked delicious. When my child asked, "What is charcoal-grilled?", they kindly explained, which impressed me with Imahan's customer service once again. When making the reservation, I asked if they could provide sukiyaki for adults as well, similar to the mini sukiyaki in the children's meal, and after considering, they confirmed it was possible. Today, I expected the same small dish as in the children's meal, but instead, a beautifully presented dish arrived with a warm sukiyaki and steak, both with an egg on the side. Everyone was very satisfied as we could enjoy both sukiyaki and steak. As we were leaving, they said, "Feel free to ask for anything you need", and indeed, Imahan has always been a restaurant that handles any concerns or special requests for families with children or celebrations with great care. Thanks to them, our long life celebration was a great success. Thank you very much. If you ever visit Imahan Mankama, be sure to try the roast beef sushi!

Visited in mid-February of Reiwa 2, with a party of 2 people, spending around 38,000 yen. Made a reservation. It's a safe bet since it's a branch of the reputable Imahan group. Both the interior and service were excellent. We tried the limited-time bamboo shoot sukiyaki course that day, which included appetizers, sashimi, sukiyaki, and dessert. One of the great things about Imahan is that you don't have to do anything yourself. This was my first time at this location in Shinjuku, and it was relatively quiet, perhaps because we arrived a bit early. Imahan is worth the price considering the service provided.
