I visited here to prevent summer fatigue with eel. When it comes to eel in Sapporo, it's Nibanya. The eel is from Kyushu. The soft grilling style is like Kanto. This restaurant is a rare find in Hokkaido where there is no culture of eating eel originally.

I visited the restaurant before the busy day of the midsummer day of the ox. It was crowded, but I was able to get in after a short wait. I ordered the eel bowl. I had never tried eel bowl before, so I decided to give it a try. The size was said to be half of a bamboo, and it cost 2400 yen. It's cheaper than eating pho or ramen in America. The restaurant was full, and I had to wait for about 45 minutes. Finally, it arrived. I finished eating in about 5 minutes. It was worth the wait, and I enjoyed the meal. The atmosphere was calmer and the clientele was better than the Susukino branch.

Unagi and Unadon along the national highway in Chuo Ward, rated 3.8. On a hot day, I crave unagi. I prefer the crispy style of unagi found in Western Japan, but the unadon at this restaurant was satisfyingly delicious. It's great to be able to enjoy a domestic unagi unadon for around 2,000 yen. The fact that it's not overly crowded is also a plus. Overall, it's a restaurant that I would like to visit again.

I had una-ju with pine from Matsuya, haha. The midsummer day of the ox is full of nutrients, isn't it? Haha. It's baked and then steamed, so it's soft and easy to eat with chopsticks, haha. The seasoning is solid, and there's extra sauce, but it's not necessary. I should have ordered extra rice, haha. Thank you for the feast. I'll come again, haha.

I felt like eating eel, so I decided to take it easy on the last day of February and use a free tram ticket to go to "Kunihira-tei" to have it. It had been a while since I had been outside, and I could already smell the aroma of grilled eel. After waiting for about 30 minutes, I finally got to meet the eel. The meat was very fluffy and tender. The sauce was just right! The rice portion was small, so I felt satisfied. It was delicious! The staff's customer service was also good. Thank you for the meal!

I made a reservation and visited at 1:00 PM on Saturday, but there were plenty of seats available. You can choose between a sunken hearth or table seating. Due to the influence of COVID-19, you can only see the eel being grilled through small gaps. There are partitions on the tables. I ordered Hitsumabushi and it was delicious. Please note that you cannot pay by card.

This is a place in Chuo Ward, along Ishiyama Street at Minami 14-jo Nishi 11-chome. To find the exact location, I recommend checking the map on Tabelog as usual. After visiting the grave, it's our tradition to have a meal, and this time we went to a restaurant where we have been before. We parked our car in the parking lot next to the shop and then entered. We informed the staff of our group of four and were seated at a table. We looked at the menu and ordered the "unagi" (eel) rice box set. It took about 25-26 minutes for it to arrive. When we opened the lid of the box, we saw the eel packed tightly inside. The texture of the eel looked soft and the fat seemed delicious. We enjoyed the crispy skin, tender meat, and flavorful fat of the eel. We added sauce and sprinkled some sansho pepper on top before eating quietly. We also had a light liver soup and pickles in between bites. Finally, we cleaned the box with a large cucumber pickle. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, we used to have "unagi" in places outside Sapporo, but now it seems like it will be limited to once a year during the Bon festival.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a regular day. They had hand sanitizer at the entrance, partitions, and a notice to wear masks when not eating. The COVID-19 prevention measures were well in place. I ordered the grilled liver skewers, eel rice bowl, and non-alcoholic beer. The liver skewers were marinated in a sweet and savory sauce, giving them a delicious charred flavor. Unfortunately, alcohol was not served, so I had the non-alcoholic beer, which was surprisingly tasty. The eel rice bowl was slightly larger than the one at the main branch. The eel was fluffy and very tasty. The use of a different type of sansho pepper made it quite spicy, so be careful not to add too much. Overall, it was a satisfying meal. It's hot every day, isn't it? On the midsummer day of the ox, I bought some eel at the supermarket and made una-don, but I still want to eat eel at a restaurant. This year, I visited here for eel. I used to visit Nifuku before starting my food log. When I went to the main store, there was a long line! There were many young people, it seemed. I didn't want to wait in the heat, so I came to this Nifuku instead. Luckily, there was one parking spot available. The restaurant inside is not very large, which I like. What surprised me was that they had taken thorough measures against COVID-19. Acrylic boards were installed not only between seats at the counter, but also between seats facing each other in the private booths. I couldn't hear small conversations (laughs). They also encouraged avoiding conversations as much as possible. It's reassuring. I ordered a bit of a luxury meal: ◆ Eel Rice Bowl (Matsu) 5000 yen ◆ Grilled Eel Liver 660 yen ◆ Beer 500 yen Grilled eel liver goes perfectly with beer. It has a nice brown color but is fluffy. The eel was also fluffy as expected. It was a bit small for the Matsu option, but maybe eels nowadays are thicker and larger unless you go to the production area. I usually don't like sansho pepper, so I don't usually put it on, but I tried it this time. Surprisingly, it's good! I'll put it on from now on. I enjoyed the eel rice bowl in the hot summer. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Next is August 2nd. Isn't that today? (laughs)

This is a restaurant near my mother's house that I have been wanting to visit for a while. As I approached the restaurant, I could smell a nice aroma. I made a reservation and entered at 6:00 PM. It seems like you can't enter without a reservation. The table had a reservation sign or was already occupied by other guests. I started with a bottle of beer, and they served me a Kirin autumn flavor in a medium bottle. Then I ordered the grilled eel on bamboo. There are differences in size between plum, bamboo, and pine options. I waited for about 20 minutes, which is a normal wait time for eel. The lady next to me seemed bored of waiting, but if you order in advance, you won't have to wait (^o^). The grilled eel on bamboo had quite a generous portion. I started eating it without adding anything. It was tender and flavorful. The sauce was light with a hint of soy sauce aroma. Then I sprinkled some sansho pepper on it. Ah, the flavor deepened. I cut it slowly with chopsticks and enjoyed it. I prefer the skin to be a bit more crispy, but that's just a matter of personal preference. The restaurant was full before I knew it. There were many families dining, and a lot of people were enjoying the easy-to-eat eel bowl. It's a local restaurant in a residential area. I will definitely come back.

Today's appetizer was mozuku seaweed. Then, we started with eel bones. Being a sake lover, I wanted to sprinkle some salt on them. Since the liver was sold out, I tried eel fin for the first time. It was creamy and didn't have the bitterness or strong flavor of the liver, making it very delicious. For those who don't like liver, I recommend this. The eel salad was light and the accent of myoga was nice. The grilled eel was tender and when eaten with wasabi and a little sauce, it was incredibly delicious and a perfect accompaniment to sake. The sake went down smoothly. Finally, the eel rice bowl was just right in sweetness and sauce balance, and unquestionably tasty. When we arrived around 5:30 PM, the restaurant was almost full, so I recommend making a reservation if you plan to visit. This was my fourth visit, and once again, I left completely satisfied.

After seeing eel on TV, I suddenly had a strong craving for it and decided to visit the restaurant. I had been determined to eat eel since the day before, so I arrived right when they opened. Initially, I was shown to a table but asked to move to the counter (haha). The counter area allows smoking. I ordered Hitsumabushi because it was on the menu. More customers started coming in afterwards, and the staff remained busy as usual. I'm glad I came right at opening! Normally, I would have to wait for about 30 minutes, but this time it only took around 15 minutes to be served. The eel was fluffy and delicious, although personally, I prefer the sauce to be a bit stronger. My craving for eel has been satisfied (haha). I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

I went to the restaurant with my sons and husband, who all love eel dishes. We ordered the eel set meals: Plum for ¥3350 (including liver and pickles), Bamboo for ¥4058, and Pine for ¥4900. This time, we chose the Bamboo set. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant, we could smell the delicious aroma of grilled eel from outside. The scent became even stronger as we entered the restaurant. The eel was plump and the skin was crispy. It was even more delicious than the main branch of the restaurant.

It was lightly seasoned. It's the busiest day of the year, so it's understandable, but the coordination between reception, kitchen, and service was not smooth, and I could hear complaints being made in the back, which made me a little uneasy. Since it's this time of the year, I quickly finished my meal and left.
