I finally visited the long-awaited Peter Luger, a steakhouse in Brooklyn, NY! I've always wanted to go and I finally made it! It was hard to get a reservation when they first opened, but now it's a bit easier to get in! I wanted to visit on a special occasion, so I made a reservation about 2 months in advance. The atmosphere of the restaurant is great, and you can enjoy the authentic taste and ambiance! [Order Details] - Mixed Green Salad with Blue Cheese Dressing 1900 yen - French Fried Potatoes 1700 yen - Steak For Two 32000 yen Since there were two of us, we ordered the main steak and side dishes. Bread was served as a starter! I chose the blue cheese dressing for the salad, which I highly recommend. It goes well with wine! The main steak was crispy on the outside but tender and juicy inside! The burnt butter and meat juice sauce made it even more delicious. The separate Luger sauce was like ketchup with a strong acidity, so I didn't like it very much and preferred to eat the steak with just salt and pepper. The potatoes were crispy and fragrant! I also dipped them in the burnt butter and meat juice sauce. The portion was quite generous, so I think this amount is enough for two people! Finally, we took the T-bone steak bone home to make soup with the broth. I heard that's what people do with the bone. Next time, I want to go with a larger group and try other dishes. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Near Garden Place, there is a top-notch steakhouse called Peter Luger. This exclusive and famous steak restaurant has made its way to Japan. I was able to visit during a quiet weekday lunch. The exterior and interior are both very stylish. The reception staff were lovely. I tried the lunch menu, which included a sandwich. The meat was thickly stacked, wrapped in paper and cut into two pieces. It came with crispy fries and chunky pickles. The Peter Luger sauce, served in a stylish container, was sweet and delicious when dipped with the potatoes. The meat was thick and firm, making it a bit tiring on the jaw. In today's world where meat is often tender, the exercise for the jaw was actually nice, but some parts were too tough to chew, so some improvements would be appreciated. It is served on one plate, so I might consider ordering a small salad or something in between to help break it up next time, as the portion was too much for me. The sandwich wrapping paper touched the potatoes, making my hands sticky, and some parts of the bread were overcooked. Despite these minor issues, the overall atmosphere and service were fantastic.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is excellent. As soon as we entered, we were greeted at the reception and guided smoothly. The lighting was nice, reminiscent of the New York flagship store. The rib steak, T-bone steak, and filet steak all had a strong flavor, no sauce needed! They were juicy, tender, and very delicious. The red wine paired perfectly with the meat. The Caesar salad was also delicious with fresh tomatoes and onions. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

The food is always delicious and the service is excellent as usual. The initial order was good, but it was a bit disappointing that fillet was not on the menu when I wanted to add more. The staff mentioned that they have already informed the company, but it was a bit of a struggle. The selection of whiskey is great and suitable for this type of restaurant. I made a mistake by ordering rum as an additional order.

I made a reservation about two weeks ago and visited on Saturday at 5:15 pm. There were still few customers. There was no dress code, and the atmosphere inside the restaurant was elegant. The staff were friendly and provided good service. We ordered a bottle of red wine and champagne glasses. We also ordered a steak for two with creamed spinach as a side. The recommended cooking style was medium rare. Bread was served as well. The steak was flavorful, crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. Wasabi was also included. If you can't finish your meal, you can take the leftovers, including the bone, home. We were surprised to see celebrities dining at the restaurant. It was a pleasant experience.

I tried Peter Luger for the first time. The atmosphere inside and outside the restaurant was very nice. American beef has a completely different approach from Japanese beef, but in terms of taste, it's not inferior to Japanese beef. The fillet and sirloin of the T-bone steak have no marbling, so you can eat as much as you want. But I still got full. I don't really like sweet things, but I also had the Hot Fudge Sundae. I left more than half of it, though.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is quite different from Japanese ones, just from the appearance. When arriving 30 minutes early for the reservation, I was directed to a bar-like area on the first floor where I could enjoy a beer while waiting leisurely. When it was time for the meal, I was escorted to the second floor. The room was quite spacious with a high American-style ceiling. In addition to the steak, I ordered a salad, thick-cut bacon (which was delicious), German potato, and apple pie. The main steak was unforgettable and delicious. I ordered it rare, with a crispy exterior and a soft interior. The meat was very flavorful. The sauce was also different from Japanese steak restaurants, with a unique American taste. It was also delicious, and I kept dipping the steak in it. If you want to experience the true flavor of meat, you have to come here.

I finally had the chance to visit Peter Luger. When it comes to the meat, I preferred Wolfgang's this year as it had more fat which I liked. My daughter, however, seemed to prefer the meat here. The sides were delicious, but quite expensive. The dessert sundae had way too much whipped cream, it was almost overwhelming. I wonder how many calories are in that... The restaurant reflects a nostalgic American vibe in both its atmosphere and dishes, but as I'm not American, I can't really appreciate that aspect.

I couldn't find much information on Tabelog or Instagram, so I visited the restaurant with 4 people. We had a mix of people who drink alcohol and those who don't, as well as those who eat seafood and those who don't, so we ended up with a strange order. We ordered a Caesar salad, a half seafood platter, 4 portions of steak, French fries, a dessert plate, 3 bottles of sparkling water, and 5 glasses of wine, all for less than 110,000 yen. First, they had a selection of wines by the glass priced around 2,000 to 3,000 yen per glass, but this information was not well-documented. The steak for four consisted of 2 T-bone steaks, with 9 slices of sirloin and 4 slices of filet from each steak, totaling 1 kg for four people or 750g for three people. The taste of the steak was amazing - aged beef with less fat, rich meat flavor, and a crispy outer layer, very American-style and simply delicious. The seafood platter for two included oysters, clams, conch, sweet shrimp, lobster, and crab meat, served with two sauces. The green sauce with tarragon and avocado was particularly tasty. We also had Caesar salad, French fries, and a dessert plate. Sadly, they no longer serve onion ring fries. The ambiance of the restaurant was dark and bustling, reminiscent of New York, and the service was entertaining, with the staff performing magic tricks with coin chocolates. It felt like we were on a trip, and the food was absolutely delicious!

Four men visited the restaurant. The interior atmosphere is nice, but it feels lively and bustling. We ordered steaks, lamb chops, and several side dishes. I wished they had mashed potatoes (personal preference). I couldn't really tell the difference between Wolfgang and regular meat (I prefer to eat with just salt and pepper, not a delicate palate). It was tasty, but there wasn't anything particularly outstanding, so I probably won't actively come back.

The quality of the meat is certainly good. However, if asked if it can only be eaten at this price, that is not the case. So, what about the location? Atmosphere? Service? Ebisu is a good location for sure. The atmosphere is also not bad. And what about the service? It's just average. They ask how your meal was while you're eating. Personally, I think it's enough. I'm not saying anything bad, just that it didn't leave me impressed. Thank you for the meal.

◇Visit date and time: Around 11:30 am on a Saturday in September◇Crowdedness: Reserved in advance◇Ordering method and speed of service: Verbal, prompt◇Taste: Ordered "Steak for 2" and 4 other dishes. The T-bone steak was cooked medium rare, with a crispy exterior and juicy interior. It had a good level of firmness and a satisfying chewiness. The more you chew, the more flavor comes out. The meat itself was delicious, and even better when paired with the salty, peppery, spicy, and tangy sauce provided. The restaurant has a sense of elegance with a cozy atmosphere.◇Price: Worth it◇Customer service: Excellent◇Payment method: Credit card

It's been half a year since I last visited Peter Luger. Last time, I enjoyed a leisurely meal in a private room on a holiday afternoon, but this time, I dined in the bustling main hall on my way home from work. In the midst of this lively atmosphere, I savored the best steak with a glass of Napa Cabernet in hand! Truly a moment of bliss. It's the perfect way to kick off the weekend. - Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail 4pcs (¥4,000 including tax) - STEAK FOR THREE (¥46,500 including tax) - Creamed Spinach (¥2,000 including tax) - Portobello Mushroom (¥2,400 including tax) - Luger's Special "Holy Cow" Hot Fudge Sundae (¥2,100 including tax) The juicy and tender meat, bursting with flavor, is a delight to chew on. Whether it's Benjamin in Roppongi, Wolfgang's in Marunouchi, or Peter Luger, it's hard to choose the best steakhouse. But Peter Luger's steaks are truly delicious! With three people dining, we each had a glass of wine before sharing a bottle of Napa Valley Cabernet. With a 10% service charge added, the total bill came to around ¥30,000 per person. It may be a bit pricey, but this steakhouse is addictive and worth visiting regularly.

I went to Peter Luger, a steakhouse I've always admired, to have a steak. I paired the steak with red wine, and also ordered a few side dishes. The sirloin steak had a satisfying texture, with a well-balanced seasoning that brought out the full flavor of the meat. The tangy sauce that came with it was a perfect match. The desserts, like the cheesecake, were also incredibly delicious.

The building was impressive and the exterior garden was well-maintained. The service seemed busy overall. For example, in the waiting area, it took a while for someone to take our drink order, and even after our reservation time passed, we weren't seated right away. As for the food, the steak was delicious as expected from a long-established steakhouse. The creamed spinach on the side was also well-prepared, allowing us to enjoy the natural flavors. The dining hall was spacious, with close proximity to other diners and loud conversations, creating a lively atmosphere. It may be suitable for those looking to have a fun dining experience with a large group. However, if you prefer a quiet and leisurely meal, I would recommend trying another steakhouse. Thank you.

Recommended by my boss, I visited this high-end steakhouse with my family. The atmosphere was fantastic. I ordered the recommended T-bone steak and it was delicious. I enjoyed dipping the meat in melted butter. The sautéed broccoli was also impressive. The staff was very attentive to our children as well!

I was taken out for a birthday lunch. With two preschoolers in tow, we shared a kids' burger, while the adults enjoyed a refreshing vinegar salad and the sought-after T-bone steak! It was delicious and I felt happy from the moment it touched my lips. The dessert plate was filled with large cakes! The kids wanted more fries, so we ended up taking the extras home. It would be great if they had a half-size option. The waiters were attentive and we had a wonderful time.

I went to his birthday dinner! First of all, the atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely from the outside! Inside, there is a sense of luxury, and it gets you excited even before eating! First, oysters. And then bacon. Of course, the main dish was the T-bone steak! And creamed spinach. The service from the staff was also very good, it was an amazing dinner!

High-end steakhouse with service similar to Wolfgang's. The meat quality is American-style lean steak. There are sauces available, but I personally preferred salt as the sweetness was too strong for me. There is also a bar corner on the first floor, which adds a unique atmosphere. Although there is a 2-hour limit, you can move to the bar corner to enjoy dessert at a more leisurely pace. Located next to Ebisu Garden Place, but parking fees are not discounted. Don't worry about parking fees when visiting such an expensive restaurant.

It was so delicious! The cheesecake was surprisingly big! It was rich but not heavy at all, very easy to eat! The seating area we were guided to was like a big hall, with a really high ceiling, quite impressive. Surrounded by plants, with some trees that seemed to go beyond just being houseplants, it felt like dining in nature. The steak we had while feeling the natural surroundings was also exceptional! ◎

A family of three visited "Peter Luger Steak House Tokyo" for dinner on a Sunday, which they had been looking forward to for a long time. The restaurant is located near Ebisu Garden Place and has a dignified appearance. The interior is chic and dimly lit, typical of a steakhouse. They ordered the "Seafood Platter (half size)", "STEAK FOR TWO", and the Rib Eye Steak, all of which were delicious. The seafood and T-bone steak were exceptional, giving the illusion of being in New York for a moment. The joy of having dinner at a high-end steakhouse with family was truly special. Peter Luger is a steakhouse worthy of such occasions. They are already thinking of visiting again for a special celebration. Thank you for the wonderful meal. Visit date: 2023.08.20
