First and foremost, I have to say that the oysters on this day were some of the most delicious I have ever had in my life. They were around 700 yen each, but I couldn't resist ordering more. The sashimi was excellent quality, and the Caesar dressing with grated yam mixed in was a unique and tasty dish. The rolled omelette was cooked perfectly with a runny center. Actually, there was so much pasta for the finale that it was a challenge to finish it all. Seriously, everything was delicious. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty izakaya!

The cucumber that came as a complimentary dish was avant-garde. When the waiter brought it, water dripped from the cucumber. I chose this place because the food is delicious, but this complimentary dish was a bit disappointing. It was a shock. Maybe this place is not suitable for a work outing, but it might be good for going with friends.

We visited the restaurant as the second place around 8:00 pm with three people. It was a busy night but we were able to get in smoothly. The staff, especially the male staff, had really loud voices! It felt like a place for tough guys, everyone was muscular and they spoke so loudly that you had to speak loudly too to be heard. It was a birthday celebration and the staff put on quite a show. It's recommended for celebrating birthdays or other special occasions. As for the food, we were already full so we only ordered about three dishes and didn't eat much. But we drank a lot, so the bill came out to a little over 27,000 yen. We might have overdone it on the drinks for a second place, but the food and drinks were delicious so we were satisfied! You can sit at the counter and chat with the staff, so it's a good place for a first date where you won't have to worry about awkward silences. Highly recommended!

I visited the Men Dojo restaurant located a little further back from the center of Shibuya. It was my second time visiting, and I ordered the following: - Beard Tea High Size (large size) - Adult Potato Salad with smoked flavor, good texture of smoked herring - Jellyfish with Yuzu Pepper Ponzu, a light appetizer - Beef Tendon and Tofu, the beef tendon was tender and delicious It was my second stop, so I couldn't eat much, but the atmosphere in the bright restaurant was nice! It may not be suitable for those looking for a quiet place though!笑

The staff's customer service was so polite that I felt like coming back right after entering the store! There were many foreign customers, and it was heartwarming to see the guys saying "Good job!" with such enthusiasm. I think this is a place where you can enjoy with a date, friends, or even with family.

It's been a while since I had a meal with friends, so we went to a second restaurant - a place run by a president who used to be on the board of directors at a local izakaya in Koshien. The service was excellent! Even though it's located in a back alley, it's a popular spot along with the neighboring restaurant, Onna Dojo. The "Beef Tendon Tofu" was delicious, with tender beef soaked in flavorful sauce. The "Homemade Squid Salted Fish" had a strong salty taste that was addictive. The "Manjyushu Chili Peppers" were delicious with just the right amount of spiciness and bitterness. The "Simmered Black Grouper" had a rich flavor that I loved. I couldn't stop eating it! I wish they served rice with it. The restaurant was lively with enthusiastic staff calling out to customers. Their energy was contagious, and I left feeling uplifted. Overall, the food was delicious, especially the Manjyushu Chili Peppers. I would come back not just for the food, but also for the positive atmosphere. Thank you for the meal!

While drinking with friends in Shibuya, we were looking for a place for our second round and stumbled upon this restaurant on the way to Kamiyama. It was a busy weekend and we wanted a table for 7 people, but it was quite crowded. The restaurant is spacious with 6-person sunken kotatsu tables, making it suitable for large groups as well. It's a lively and energetic place with a bustling atmosphere and enthusiastic staff. Since it was a holiday, the place was fully packed. You have to take off your shoes before entering the restaurant. We had already eaten, so we just enjoyed some drinks and light snacks. I ordered a highball and shochu that day. The appetizer was tofu. The egg over rice looked delicious too, but I decided to pass on carbs late at night. We had a few drinks together and then headed home. It was a fun night.

At the Top Men Dojo in Shibuya, the photo shows beef fillet (1400 yen) and Unzen ham cutlet (550 yen). When looking for an izakaya in Shibuya, it can feel crowded and not very appealing, but if you walk towards Jinbocho, there are many nice places. It's more recommended as an izakaya than for the food! The price range for drinks is around 600 yen for sake and 500 yen for cocktails, so I think the budget would be around 3000-5000 yen.

This is a nostalgic izakaya in Okushibu. It is a popular izakaya that was once very popular. I visited after a long time, and they are still doing well. On the opposite side, there is a women-centered izakaya called Onna Dojo, and on both sides, there is Otoko Dojo. This place specializes in teppanyaki dishes. When you sit at the counter, you can watch the staff skillfully cook on the teppan grill. This time, we ordered a course for our party, and every dish was delicious. The rolled omelette was surprising with its white color and deliciously soft texture. The garlic fried rice at the end was also great with its fluffy texture and good seasoning. I will definitely come back to have fun again.

I missed a shop that used to be in Nakameguro, so I came to the Shibuya branch. The menu was completely different, not yakitori but teppanyaki. From tamagoyaki to lotus root with cheese, everything was delicious! You can customize the tamagoyaki with mentaiko or cheese. The staff was very energetic and friendly. The shrimp and broccoli with mayonnaise was especially delicious. I want to come back and eat it again! It got really crowded, so I left early due to the current situation, but I want to come back and relax next time. Thank you for the meal!

The meeting for planning the monthly sake party was supposed to take place in Shibuya. I had made a reservation at a sake bar so we could enjoy sake while discussing, but to my surprise, it was closed unexpectedly. So, we switched to a nearby restaurant that I like, called Tenpou Mendojo. As the name suggests, all the staff are men, and they provide energetic and lively service at this teppanyaki izakaya. One of their popular dishes, the third-generation masterpiece, is the dashimaki tamago with Yoneda's flavor. The brother cooks it right in front of you on the teppan, and it turns out fluffy and pure white, with plenty of mentaiko and melty cheese inside. It was delicious! Even though they had a limited menu that day due to shortened operating hours, the seared mackerel was also a classic favorite and tasty. The staff were all lively and full of energy, but their voices were a bit too loud, making it difficult to hear my friends. I forgot that this may not be the best place for a meeting (laughs). I'll definitely come back for a casual visit!

Especially the meat dishes were all fantastic.

I was walking with a friend towards a quieter area and stumbled upon a restaurant. There was also a shop called "Female Dojo" across the street, but I decided to go to "Male Dojo." The staff were so energetic and I was really hungry, so we ordered a lot of food. Everything was delicious! Especially the grilled meat cooked on the hot plate in front of us was amazing! Another standout was the mozuku seaweed, with a unique and firm texture. Since this restaurant was so good, I definitely need to try "Female Dojo" next time!

This is a izakaya located in the back streets with a strong energy, more towards Okushibu than Kamizumi. When I entered, I was greeted loudly and felt a bit overwhelmed. The fact that the otoshi (appetizer) is a choice makes me happy as I can choose based on my mood. All the meat dishes were delicious, but the roast beef was especially amazing. I ended up drinking too much, influenced by the energetic service of the staff. I witnessed a birthday surprise that was the most amazing I've ever seen. Next time, I want to use a birthday surprise to surprise my friends. I also want to try the affiliated restaurant "Onna Dojo" across the street.笑

They are enthusiastic about their work while maintaining a lively atmosphere, which I really appreciated. I got carried away talking about the atmosphere, but the food is also delicious. Every dish had a unique touch and was tasty, but the simple teppanyaki grilled meat was exceptional.

I recently discovered a shop with an interesting name, "Otokomichi," during my personal Akasaka exploration boom! Although the shop "Onnamichi" across the street also caught my attention, I was drawn to the men's shop (*^^*). Laughing, I was first captivated by the name and then by the energetic staff at the shop! The atmosphere in the tatami room was lively, with customers and staff making a lot of noise – it was really amazing! Laughing. What surprised me even more was how delicious the food was! Laughing, the taste was really outstanding! Especially the teppanyaki meat! It was exquisite ☆
