After going to the gym, I had my first solo yakiniku experience. Chicken seseri with wasabi for 300 yen, beef sirloin for 450 yen, and cholegi salad for 390 yen. With two drinks, the total came to 1848 yen including tax. It might be biased, but the seseri was dramatically delicious. It was a good opportunity to reconsider chain restaurants. The highball was a bit weak though (laughs).

At Anan, you might initially think it's just cheap yakiniku, but it's not. The taste is actually good and the prices are low. It's recommended over places like King or Gyu-Kaku. I've been here multiple times and I can say it's cheap, delicious, and satisfying. Highly recommended!

The cheapest all-you-can-eat option is 1,900 yen including tax, with individual plates ranging from 200 yen each for a variety of grilled meats at An An restaurant. Despite the reasonable prices, the quality of the meat may not be considered cheap. The all-you-can-eat option offers around 10 types of meat, with some plates having a generous amount of meat and unnecessary thickness. The V Kalbi (270 yen) was decent, while the Young Kalbi (290 yen) was fatty. The spicy pork Kalbi (250 yen) had a strong flavor, and the spicy pork belly (310 yen) was tough. The pork tongue (250 yen) was thin, and the pork ribs with meat still attached (200 yen) had a nice texture. The buttered corn (310 yen) was simple but satisfying. Overall, the meat quality varied but the prices were reasonable.

"Ayasaka course (all-you-can-eat) restaurant we found while shopping in Chofu after watching the Rugby World Cup. The meat was quite tasty for an all-you-can-eat place. The quality may vary for the same items, but overall, I think it's a good value for a cheap all-you-can-eat option with delicious meat."

I went in because I saw a lot of people lining up. It was Friday night at 7:30 pm. The restaurant was quite busy and lively, with smoke filling the air. Since it was my first time, I opted for the full course for 1,759 yen. The chicken set that came first was okay, but it took a while to cook. The charcoal grill was small, so if you go with a large group, you might never get full. The location was right under the air conditioning, so the smoke didn't get sucked into the exhaust hood properly, making my eyes hurt. The exhaust hood was also narrow, which is probably why the restaurant was smoky. My eyes were hurting and I got bored of cooking, so I left before getting full (probably wasn't there for an hour). Changing the grill net was an additional charge, and the orders took a while to arrive. Maybe they are short-staffed? Considering the price, it's understandable, but for this price, I thought I could have gone to other all-you-can-eat barbecue places or other all-you-can-eat restaurants that are not barbecue. However, being able to enter even late at night might be a plus for young people.
