I went for lunch on a regular day and lined up around 11:15. I was the second person in line. They opened the doors around 11:25 and I ordered the 3-color curry with cheese naan and regular naan, along with an original lemon herb soda. I'm not a big fan of keema, but surprisingly, the keema in the Shibakariwara original curry was delicious. I will definitely go back on a day with shorter lines!

I visited around 12:30 on a regular day. There were about 3 groups waiting, but I was able to get a seat in about 5 minutes as it was the perfect timing for a turnover. I have a nut allergy, so I couldn't have the chicken, and the pork curry was not spicy enough for me, so I opted for the bean and eggplant curry. I added the cheese katsu set for an extra 100 yen. The curry had a nice balance of spiciness and flavor, and it was very delicious. I already liked cheese katsu, and the one here was also tasty. I wished there was a bit more cheese, but you can add an extra piece of cheese katsu for 400 yen, which I think is a good deal. I really enjoyed being able to have delicious cheese katsu for lunch here, so I personally liked it a lot. Next time, I want to add an extra piece of cheese katsu.

After a long time, I went to Shiva Curry Wala for lunch. I was the first one there when I arrived a little after 11 am. They were opening at 11:20 am, so I waited for a bit. Today, I had a combo of Peanut Chicken Curry, Pork Achari, and Seasonal Vegetable and Rajma Bean Masala. I chose rice and chapati. I also added Seekh Kebab, Raita, and Egg Achar on the side. Of course, I had a beer too. The vegetable curry had a deep flavor with a gentle spiciness. The Peanut Chicken Curry was creamy with a mild spiciness, while the Pork Achari was quite spicy. Everything was consistently delicious. I enjoyed savoring each dish individually, mixing them with raita, combining different curries, and finally mixing everything together. It was so delicious that I got carried away and ended up with a full table and a full stomach. It was really tasty. The waitress was also cute and lovely!

My wife and I used this restaurant for lunch on a holiday. We visited around 11:30, but there were several groups waiting in line, so we waited for about 20 minutes. Even after we entered, more people continued to line up, so please be aware! You can choose from different types of curry, as well as naan and rice to combine. We had a set with 3 types of curry, 2 types of naan, and rice. On that day, there was chicken, pork, shrimp, and sesame vegetable curry. All the curries were flavorful with spices but not too spicy, making them easy to eat! The shrimp curry used lemon and coconut curry, giving it a refreshing sweetness and a unique deliciousness. The chicken and pork curries had tender ingredients and a rich, addictive spiciness. The sesame vegetable curry was also amazing with its rich sesame and vegetable flavors! The naan was fluffy, soft, and chewy, and delicious! The rice also paired well with the curry! My wife was very satisfied! Thank you for the meal! I want to go again!

It's been a while since I visited Shiva Currywala. I chose a combo of Cheese Kuruchta and Rice, with two types of curries. Instead of Butter Chicken, I tried Butter Prawn and Vegetable Curry. Both were mellow and delicious, but I regret not choosing the spicy Keema Curry. Looking forward to my next visit.

I received two types of curry, one was like a butter curry with shrimp and the other was a spiced curry. Both were very delicious and worth lining up for! However, I felt a bit uneasy with people waiting behind me. But the curry was exquisite! Thank you for the meal!

This is an Indian restaurant in Sancha. The shrimp curry was sold out, so I had vegetable, chicken, and pork curry instead. They were all very delicious, but the curry with vegetables like eggplant and winter melon in a spicy sauce was especially delicious. The cabbage achar was also surprisingly tasty. It was by far the best Indian food I've had, and I understand why. I've been getting into wine recently and the Shiraz with black pepper notes was also delicious.

After a meeting, we couldn't decide on where to have lunch, so I googled and found this place for our first visit. We arrived a little after 1 pm without a reservation and were able to sit at the counter without waiting. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor of a building that is sharply angled from Sangenjaya Station and Sasazawa Street. Inside, there are 5 counter seats, 2 two-person table seats along the wall, and a total of 4 seats that can accommodate up to 12-13 people, making it a small establishment. For lunch, they offer curry dishes ranging from one type for 1150 yen to up to three types for 1550 yen, served with rice, naan, and a pickled salad on one plate. The curry options were butter chicken and vegetable. You can choose from three rice options: rice and papad, rice and naan, or an additional 100 yen for cheese kurcha and mini rice. We opted for the cheese kurcha, which was quite filling, so we felt the rice portion was generous and would order less next time. We also tried the extremely spicy pickled bitter gourd recommended by the friendly female staff, which had an addictive spiciness. And of course, we couldn't skip the classic lassi to cool off from the spicy pickles. The curry itself was mild, easy to eat, and left a lingering taste. Despite being very casual, the restaurant serves authentic Indian cuisine. As we left, there was a line of about 5 people on the stairs.

The guest seats are in a small triangular space of about 6 tatami mats, decorated with interesting cultural items from India. I ordered two lunch sets, Chicken Achari and seasonal vegetables. I chose rice and chips for the side. The price was 1,250 yen including tax. The curry had a rich flavor of various spices and was easy to eat. It was delicious. I particularly liked the chips.

Wow, everything was wonderful! The taste, the interior, the service, everything was top-notch. The beef, chicken, vegetables, and cheese katsu were all so delicious! Plus, the smile of the young lady melted my heart.

Shibakariwara is a curry restaurant located in Sangenjaya, established on January 22, 2013. The cozy interior is decorated with items brought from India by the owner, who used to work at the popular Indian restaurant "Gurgaon" in Ginza. I tried the 2 kinds of curry set for ¥1,350, which included Chettinad Chicken and Pork Vindaloo. The Cheese Kulcha was particularly delicious, with a generous amount of cheese inside. The curries were both flavorful and spicy, but very tasty and easy to eat. The overall portion size is a bit small, but the long line of customers waiting outside when I left shows how popular this place is. The name "Shibakariwara" means "Shiva's Curry House" in Hindi, with "Shiva" referring to the Indian god.

It's been about 5 years since my last visit. I dropped in by chance and it was super lucky. The taste reminded me of the time when I used to live in India. Not only the curry, but also the kurta, papad, lassi, and naan made me happy. The service was kind and friendly, without being pushy. A place I want to visit from time to time. Next time, I want to aim for Thursday when I can have biryani.

Shiva Curry Wara is a curry restaurant in Sangenjaya. They offer a Special 3 Variety Curry Set for 1550 yen, with options to add Cheese Kurcha & Mini Rice for 100 yen, or Butter Prawn for 50 yen. I had been wanting to try this place for a while after reading about it in a book, and finally got the chance to visit. I ordered the 3 Variety Curry Set with Chicken, Pork, and Shrimp curries. My personal favorite was the North Indian Home Style Chicken curry, which had a simple yet flavorful taste with a perfect balance of coriander and cardamom. The Butter Prawn curry had a smooth coconut base with a hint of mustard oil aroma, which I really enjoyed. The Pork curry was rich in roasted spices typical of Southwestern Indian flavors, and the combination of the pork meat and smoky spices was excellent. The restaurant is located a 5-10 minute walk from Sangenjaya Station, and the interior has a nice Indian-themed decor with paintings, masks, and large potted plants creating a balanced atmosphere. The menu displayed at the counter also had interesting snack options that I would like to try next time. The service was friendly and welcoming, and I look forward to visiting again. The food was delicious, thank you for the meal! (*´◒`*)

This green curry with chicken and herb paste is amazing! I used to avoid spinach curry in the past, but now I regret it. Spinach curry must have a different taste, so I would like to try it if I see it. I chose the keema curry, but it's spicy! I'm not good with spicy food, but I love curry. I've tried various curries with naan, but this one is top-level delicious! I went after 2 pm and was able to eat without waiting in line. I recommend going at that time.

The interior decorations of the restaurant and the customer service by the staff are quite good. All three curries are delicious! They are not very spicy and have a milder flavor than they look. I especially like the chicken and keema curries. The cheese kurcha is very rich and I like it. The portions are generous and the food was delicious.

Shiva Curry House, my favorite Indian curry restaurant in Sangenjaya! When asked where to find delicious curry in Sangenjaya, this is the first place that comes to mind. The restaurant is always crowded during lunchtime, but this time I visited for dinner. The opening hours on holidays were perfect, and I just made it in time to get a table without a reservation. The dinner menu offers a plate with two curry choices, which I found very convenient. I chose the Lemon Chicken and Lamb Coriander curries, and added Cheese Kulcha and mini rice for an extra 100 yen. The flavors were amazing, as always. The Cheese Kulcha with plenty of cheese was a delight, and the Daal without which is usually not included during lunch was also delicious. The Lamb Coriander curry had a spicy kick and a unique flavor from the herbs, while the highlight of the day was definitely the Lemon Chicken curry. The coconut-based curry with a tangy lemon flavor and tender chicken pieces was simply outstanding. The combination of lemon, chicken, coconut, and spices was just perfect. Regularly consuming these flavorful curries reminded me of the importance of spice intake. Overall, I was completely satisfied with the delicious curries at Shiva Curry House. Thank you for the meal.

Around 8 pm when I visited, the restaurant was full, but it seemed like some people inside were done with their meals and relaxing. Maybe they saw me coming and left quickly, so I didn't have to wait long to get a table. It might be a bit hard to spot the place from outside, especially at night! The restaurant is on the second floor, and I noticed a sign at the entrance of the stairs. I ordered Butter Chicken and Pepper Prawn Masala with Fig Naan. The Butter Chicken was delicious and consistent, while the Pepper Prawn Masala had large prawns with tails intact! It was spicy but tasty! The Naan had plenty of figs in it! I almost finished it all with the Naan alone. The restaurant is quite small, but I liked the Asian atmosphere. The female waitress was very friendly and made the experience enjoyable! I would definitely want to come back!

The restaurant opened at 11:30, and I arrived around 11:40 to find about 10 people waiting in line. The turnover rate was fast, with each group staying for about 2.5 hours, so I was able to get in by a little after 12. While waiting in line, I was able to choose my menu, so I was served within 5 minutes of entering. A Japanese female staff member kindly explained the lunch menu to me. She was friendly and cute, which I liked. The curry was thick and spicy, just like authentic Indian curry. You can't choose the level of spiciness, but they will tell you which curry is spicier. The lassi was a bit pricey at 400 yen, but it was rich and delicious.

I came all the way to Sangenjaya and decided to visit this popular burger joint for lunch. I arrived a little after 2pm and the place was almost full, but luckily I managed to snag the last seat. I ordered the Curry Set with two types of curry for 1250 yen. I chose the Keema Curry and Vegetable Curry from the three options listed on the blackboard. For the side, I selected Naan and small rice. The curries arrived on a tray after a 6-minute wait. The Keema Curry had large chunks of minced meat, giving it a satisfying texture with just the right amount of spice. The Vegetable Curry was surprisingly sweet, with a mango and coconut base, almost like a dessert. It was a unique and delicious experience, different from your typical Indian curry restaurant. Overall, it was a delightful meal.

I went during the daytime on a regular day, but there was a long line ^-^ Is this the most famous curry restaurant in Sangenjaya? Or is Sambal Hotel more famous? I'm not sure, but I was drawn in by its popularity! The interior of the restaurant feels quite small. The spices are strong, perfect for those who want to enjoy authentic Indian curry ^-^ The taste is delicious and the dishes come out quickly! It's a restaurant I want to visit again!
