A friend built a new house in Fuchu, so I wandered around Fuchu after a housewarming party and saw a cute sign, so I decided to go in. It's a great location, only about a 1-minute walk from Fuchu Station! Inside, the private rooms are lined up nicely, ensuring privacy. The main lighting is from below, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. I was seated and noticed a flyer on the wall, "All sake for 500 yen on Sundays and Mondays only!" What a fantastic deal for sake lovers! I was also hungry, so I ordered some food. The restaurant, called "Toraji," specializes in chicken dishes. I ordered a steamed chicken and tofu sesame salad, fried potatoes, Oyama chicken yamakoroyaki, and crunchy gizzard stir-fry. The salad was surprisingly voluminous and delicious with tofu, steamed chicken, and sesame dressing. The fried potatoes were thin, which I prefer over thick ones. The Oyama chicken yamakoroyaki was juicy and flavorful with a generous amount of chicken and rich sauce. The crunchy gizzard stir-fry was tasty even without lemon, thanks to the well-seasoned gizzards. I envy my friend for having such a delicious izakaya nearby... I will definitely go back!

I stopped by after horse racing. It is located close to Fuchu Station, a bit far from Tokyo Racecourse, but as a private room izakaya, the food is delicious and the cost performance seems good. If you make a reservation in advance for the all-you-can-drink menu, you can enjoy it at a reasonable price and be satisfied.

The dishes I ordered this time were: Edamame, Umadare Cabbage, Chicken Thigh Skewers with Sauce, and Fried Young Chicken. I didn't have much of an appetite this time, so I ordered these as snacks to go with my drinks. Edamame is a classic beer snack, Umadare Cabbage is refreshing yet flavorful, and the Fried Young Chicken was juicy, tender, and delicious. The yakitori was a reliable choice as well. They have a wide variety of dishes that go well with alcohol, as well as rice dishes, making it a highly recommended restaurant. Thank you for the meal!

I started drinking a little early, so I decided to go to a second bar. I wasn't in the mood to eat or drink a lot, so I mainly ordered dishes to finish off the night. I had a rolled omelette, tea-infused rice with spicy cod roe, and chicken breast marinated in miso. I wasn't planning on drinking much at first, but once I started eating the rolled omelette and tea-infused rice, something clicked. The rolled omelette had a slightly sweet flavor which I loved. The tea-infused rice had a delicious broth and the spicy cod roe added the perfect kick. It went really well with the sake. I also ordered the chicken breast marinated in miso as a snack. The chewy texture and the sweetness of the miso went really well with the sake. Even though I wasn't planning on drinking much, I ended up drinking more and more. I mainly ordered for myself, but the food was delicious. If they had solo seats, I might end up going there every day...lol

The assorted 5 kinds of skewers included tsukune, cartilage, thigh meat, neck meat, and gizzard. The tsukune was soft and fluffy, and the other yakitori skewers were also delicious! Although I didn't order it this time, I saw on the menu that they have yakitori cheese fondue, which I'm very interested in trying soon!
